i can’t believe dior, i am literally so upset they ruined everything. there’s only so many things that make me happy and fashion is one of them, i loved using my door lipstick and eye shadow palette and now it’s completely ruined because they had to be morally bankrupt

Pro-Palestine Brands That You Can Support!
In the spirit of the BDS Movement and other boycott attempts done across the globe, here is a thread showcasing brands that are pro-Palestine (or at least unaffiliated with Israel as of October 2023).
Tumblr media
Worth noting is that someone on the thread above mentioned that Ben & Jerry's are pro-Palestine. This is partly true as the FOUNDERS of Ben & Jerry's, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield filed a lawsuit against Unilever to stop all sales in Israel. Unfortunately, they lost the case and the brand instead has stopped all sales in Palestine while still being available in Israel.
I have seen a lot of beauty brands being mentioned such as e.l.f, Pat McGrath Labs, Charlotte Tilbury (whose brand ambassador is Bella Hadid, famously known for being pro-Palestine and is half-Palestinian herself), Fenty Beauty, and even Dior (09/11/2023 edit #1: Dior is no longer on this list as they replaced Bella Hadid with an Israeli model, along with Fenty Beauty as Rihanna is also a brand ambassador for Puma and they had released a collaboration with the brand on September) but besides from Huda Beauty and Delhicious I have yet to see any explicit showcase of support from any other major brands so please take any information regarding beauty brands outside of the ones we are boycotting with a grain of salt.
You can also help by ordering Krispy Kreme (side note: this excites me because I love Krispy Kreme) from this link as it is for a fundraiser by students at the UCLA. Krispy Kreme may not be directly involved, but it is still good to know that this is a viable option. (09/11/2023 edit #2: corrected some missing info)
Here is also a list of ten Palestinian-owned brands that you can support.
May I also add, if you live in a country that is for the most part if not 100% politically supportive of the Palestinian cause like Ireland, Indonesia (where I live), Malaysia, etc., chances are your local brands are pro-Palestine, at least in spirit, so you can opt for them instead. If you also know any local businesses owned by Palestinians in your area, support them as well!
That is all for now, may your watermelons taste fresh and sweet.

BOYCOTTING FOR PALESTINE
The Official BDS Boycott Targets
Tumblr media
Consumer Boycotts - a complete boycott of these brands
Cisco
Axa
Puma
Carrefour
HP
Siemens
Chevron
Intel
Caltex
Israeli produce
Re/max
Ahava
Texaco
Sodastream
Intel
Organic Boycott Targets - boycotts not initiated by BDS but still complete boycott of these brands
Disney
Macdonald's
Dominos
Papa Johns
Burger King
Pizza Hut
Wix
Divestments and exclusion - pressure governments, institutions, investment funds, city councils, etc. to exclude from procurement contracts and investments and to divest from these
Elbit Systems
CAF
Volvo
CAT
Barclays
JCB
HD Hyundai
TKH Security
HikVision
Pressure - boycotts when reasonable alternatives exist, as well as lobbying, peaceful disruptions, and social media pressure.
Google
Amazon
AirBnb
Booking.Com
Expedia
Teva
Here are some companies that strongly support Israel (but are not Boycott targets). There is no ethical consumption under capitalism and boycotting is a political strategy - not a moral one. If you did try to boycott every supporter of Israel you would struggle to survive because every major company supports Israel (as a result of attempting to keep the US economy afloat), that being said, the ones that are being boycotted by masses and not already on the organic boycott list are coloured red.

unfriendly reminder dior goodjohn is a fucking zionist. rick riordan has used the both sides card (not to forget his very islamophobic writing). pjo show literally has lin manuel miranda. the actors for hephastus and medusa are vocal zionists. idc if you are pirating it, still sharing about the show and sharing about the show waters down the whole thing of boycotting in the first place. pjo is a disney plus show and bds has explicitly said to boycott disney. to people saying childhood nostalgia to defend this, let me say this once: pjo has been one of my first fandoms growing up, the books once upon a time shaped my childhood, it has created an impact for me but if i (who had once waited for a pjo show for years) can denounce it, so can you. it is not an easy process but amidst a live genocide happening the least y'all can do is watch the show via pirating and not say a word about it online.

I just want to say that if you guys think I am influential enough to convince all of you to massively buy from a brand that I mention in a fic and that I am promoting anti boycott because of it. . . Please let me know, so I can quit my 9-5 job and become an influencer who receives free Dior calendars hahaha
The stuff I have to read, for god's sake.

These are a list of Palestinian-owned fashion brands that you can look up on and support because Palestinian art and fashion are so beautiful: 🍉🍉🍉
- Nol Collective (Founded by Palestinian feminist designer Yasmeen Mall, who creates ethical fashion by portraying her cultural standpoints through her garments)
- Holy Land (Founded by Palestinian owned company that supports Palestinian women who create high-quality handmade clothing and embroidery pieces that adds authenticity and historic value to the designs)
- Anat (Founded by Palestinian owned international brand that involves their designs on street wear and focuses on making breathable cut clothing for women and men to enjoy)
- Dar Noora (Founded by Palestinian designer Noor Khalifeh, she created her own brand to help empower women when wearing traditional clothing by combining traditional cross stitching and modern fashion)
This is quite a short list which I found on an article written by Joyce Gereige on Grazia magazine website but I hope that this list helps you to understand that there are many ways to support Palestine and boycott Israeli supporting brands such as Dior, Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Givency, Louis Vuitton etc.

i kind of understand why people are rubbed the wrong way by his dior partnership but let’s be fr, you’re not “holding him accountable” by complaining on a random tumblr account where neither lewis nor anyone close to him is likely to see it 😭 like the only way to “hold him accountable” would be to do something that will actually affect him such as a boycott, and let’s be honest most of us (myself included) are NOT the target demographic for an expensive luxury clothing brand lmaoo
i'm not holding him accountable. i'm holding him to his own words, comparing his words and actions and expressing my disappointment through the only outlet i use to communicate with like minded people regarding him and his sport. those who have any influence over him or his actions are busy dickriding so i'm well aware how futile all this is. still i need to vent somehow? it's the whole point i'm even on tumblr. but please, enlighten me how else you want me to live my experience as a disappointed fan

p*rate percy jackson!
hi friends! just wanted to clarify that I stand in support of Palestine and want to discourage any of my followers from watching PJO on Disney Plus - they are in support of Israel. Rick Riordan, Dior Goodjohn, and Jessica Parker Kennedy have also been known to be pro-Israel so I will also not be reblogging any content related to these people in the future. that being said I still enjoy the show and have been p*rating it because I want to show my appreciation for the work of Walker, Leah, and Aryan. everything I post about PJO will be marked with Boycott Disney+ in the caption and the tags.
we can enjoy our favorite media in our silly little tumblr posts, but I don't want to encourage anyone to support Disney on my account. <3
