spikeâs changing perception of love and his actions surrounding how to show it is such an interesting conceptâŚ
as a human, spike, or william, was never shown love in a true way. he loved his mother, and he took care of her. he showed love to a girl in his town, and he was made fun of and shut down. he was a bit pathetic (and i donât mean this as an insult, itâs just one of the only words to describe what iâm trying to convey). when he becomes a vampire, he turns his mother in an act of love to cure her sickness (as another post has mentioned before), but she becomes cruel, and in another act of love, he kills her. he ultimately ends the life of the one person he cared about completely as a human.
then there is the power dynamic between drusilla and spike, as i think there always is between the sire and the sired. she knows more about the world and changes him to be like her. despite her mental state, she has the upper hand about what they are and how they should act. that isnât to say that they donât truly love each other; it just presents another obstacle.
i am a spuffy shipper all the way, but I do love dru and spikeâs relationship as well. however, it is built on obsession and violence. spikeâs birth as a vampire is due to his death as a human by druâs hands (or fangs lol). they do grand acts of violence for each other. they are aggressive and passionate with one another. they love each other (this can be seen not just through their actions but through the episode with the judge when he says he can sense love and jealousy in both dru and spike). but this love is not built on things that we associate love with. it is built on violence, sex, passion, but also a strong sense of loyalty.
when spike realizes he loves buffy, he is taking his own perception of love that he has developed throughout his life. from what weâve seen, he does not have experience as a human, so most of his definition is being taken from his time as a vampire. we see this deep caring he has for buffy, but he has no way to convey it properly. he kidnaps her and threatens to kill dru to prove his devotion to her, by killing the person he loved first.
however, he sees the fault in his ways. heâs fiercely loyal to her by the fifth season. heâs willing to sacrifice himself for dawn; heâs willing to put his life on the line in a way he hasnât for anyone before. he counts the days buffy is dead and continues to fight with her friends. he helps her fight her way out of her depression.
he tells her that she belongs in the darkness with him because he truly thinks that. what friend was really trying to help her after they resurrected her? do i agree with him? no, but also what image of healthy love does he have to look back on? none.
(i do not take into account the actions of âseeing redâ. in all honesty, i act like they didnât happen because of the reasons behind it being petty and cruel *cough cough joss* and sending james to therapy etc etc etc, just a disclaimer)
so spike gradually learns how to love. properly. he gets his soul back to prove he can be the type of man she could love. to be worthy. and that is something so beautiful. he didnât force buffy to show him how to love. he did it himself. for her. he learned how to love with and without his soul. he made the decision to get his soul back when he still didnât have one.
his character is so interesting to me because he is a goofy guy but heâs also deep and deeply flawed. i have a lot of thoughts obviously but this explains some.

Not to derail the convo too much but i want to add my own input onto thisâŚ.it sucks bc there are multiple VERY clear reasons why yong and nuru are both pushed aside, but i feel like everyone is afraid to say the quiet part out loud.
- Nuru is a black girl
- Yong is an asian kid
- nuru and yong werent really pitched as main characters to begin with. Maybe they wouldve been, had the pitch been fully realized, but we can only really make educated guesses based on the little information we have. The entire story was really built around varian and hugo, fundamentally- and yeah, obviously we only have the brief outline, but said outline doesnât really mention nuru and yong like, at all. Doesnt mention any character arcs for them, any prominent relationships, any development theyd have over the series- not even their reactions to hugos betrayal or their involvement in the final fight. its all just about varian and hugo. We can only ever assume, at any given moment, that theyre justâŚ.There. And so thats how everyone writes them- as background characters to varigo.
i dont think its wrong to build a story around one character, i mean kay and anna really just did it for fun and i dont see any problem with that- but when people try to make it into a fully realized story, it doesnt really work because there are basically only two main characters and two guys who are just There. so instead of the VAT7K Fandom we just end up getting The Varigo Fandom. i honestly do think its why so many people come and get hyperfixated on it for a few months and then leave. There just isnt really any content to work with, because there are only 4 characters and people are only fully utilizing two of them.
-Did i mention theyre a black girl and an asian kid next to a yaoi couple featuring White Boy #3567488 and Kind-Of-Racially-Ambiguous-Probably-White Onceler Jr because the implications there are Not Great.
I joke, i love them all, i promise, but it is really something that bothers me a lot, especially since ive been here for so long and i dont really consider myself âinâ the fandom enough to like, get super obsessed with any of the characters and make 1000 fics and drawings of them. If anything vat7k is kind of like the tts dlc to me. Im mentally ill about varigo and i love nuru and yong to bits and have SO MANY thoughts about them but they just usually stay in my head because i dont have the energy to expel them in any efficient way LOLOLOL. At the end of the day i consider myself more of a tts fan than anything else.
bc nuru and yong never really had any substance to begin with, people cant usually get super attached to them past a surface level, and it gets REALLY frustrating.
- When it comes to nuru, im like, the whitest girl imaginable so i dont want to talk out of turn here but i do want to mention it bc nobody else seems to be willing to- the way nuru is made into either the mature âmom friendâ of the group or the âsassy best friendâ is something that makes my blood BOIL, because they both feel SUPER stereotypical considering that shes a 16 year old black girl!!! iâve talked to my friend, who is black, about it a lot (Id tag him here but hes Not in the fandom so i dont want to drag him into this LMAOAOAO) but weve discussed how black girls are âadultifiedâ by mainstream society and quite literally robbed of their childhood and innocence. theyâre treated as âmature for their ageâ and are expected to act as suchâŚ..It makes the way people portray nuru as the âmature oneâ rlly gross to me đ. and luckily i dont see that âmom friend nuruâ AS often anymore, but when people dont do that, i feel like they kinda just turn her into the âsassy voice of reasonâ which just feels like a whole black best friend trope to meâŚ..đ Guh. I think just the best anyone can do is actually make her a fully realized character!!! She feels so one note so often đ
- And yongâŚI feel like he so often just gets made to be the Baby of the group and the comic relief (which is DEFINITELY because hes also a fat kid but thats a Wholeee other can of worms (eye twitching)) And like that can be fun sometimes, but also i feel like the main appeal about team radical, at least to ME, is that theyre all just stupid petty teenagers who are unparented and sent on a little coming of age quest and they all probably immediately start beefing with each other like its fucking lord of the flies. Yong is Twelve Years Old guys. Have you ever met a twelve year old? Theyre at that age where theyre like weirdly edgy and think theyre the Shit and that every adult around them is a fucking idiot. Yong has the potential to be soooo fucking funny past just being the cutesy little baby of the group and i feel like people just arent really willing to explore that. And like he can still be the more emotionally open one too! I feel like he starts out a lot more silly and more of that steven universe type hes usually portrayed as, but the longer he spends with the gang he just quickly becomes equally as deranged as them LOL. Id love to see a much more mischievous yong whos sweet but also a Very insecure 12 year old and kind of a shithead. I think itâs such an untapped market.
Idk i dont think that if you just Canât get attached to nuru or yong that youâre likeâŚBad or like. racist or whatever Thats not what im saying at all!!! bc i do think that kay and anna for all their amazing work on the pitch did kind of contribute to the problem bc of the way nuru and yong are shown, or, well. not shown in said pitch lol. And i also think that everyone should consider the implications these characterizations have and likeâŚTry and challenge themselves to branch out a little more!! and i also feel like a lot of people who ARE nuru and yong fans already arent very loud in the fandom, cuz like, with how varigo centric the community is i think its just assumed by default that nobody caresâŚ.and if thats you i want to encourage you to please PLEASE speak up and make more content about them bc people DO care!!!! it is a niche that so many people are willing to invest in!!! Especially me!!! Please please please please im on my knees plea
Guys I NEED to rant about my thoughts on Nuru because i love her <3 ramblings ahead
Like I feel like in almost every fic i read, she's just like, a side character that's there to make whitty remarks to Hugo and be the levelheaded one. If she has an insecurity or problem it's usually pretty surface level and solved quickly, or only mentioned once or twice. I think there are SO many aspects of her character that are so cool.
Okay first, I think we sometimes forget that she's a nerd just like the rest of the gang. Yes, on the outside she's definetly the most 'normal' one, but I think we should concider the fact that she's the only girl in the group, and she's literal royalty. She was raised with a completely different set of standards than the other three. I donât think I've really ever seen anyone cover that. I feel like she would get called "mature for her age" when she's only 15/16, and almost always gets critisism when she talks back with her own ideas (like her concerns about the meteor shows for example). I feel like out on her journey, she would finally get the freedom to just be herself, and be a kid and be able to rant on about her intrests with the rest of the group. It could be a struggle at first, but it would be awesome to see her getting more comfortable with the group the longer they spend together! Nerds encouraging nerdy rants lol
Since she is a kingdom figurehead, you could also argue that she always has a lot on her hands (especially since she's very proactive when it comes to science and solving problems). This could bring up a need to be productive, or always feeling like she needs to make the right decision, even for the littlest things.
I also feel like a lot of the time she's potrayed as the "right" one, who is 100% right when it comes to stuff like arguing with Hugo. Since they're opposites when it comes to class, they often are compared through that lense. I think it's cool just having Nuru tell Hugo off for judging a book by its cover, but I feel like they have a lot more in common than they realize. I think it would be interesting to see Nuru judging a book by its cover too. Maybe not to the degree that Hugo does, but I feel like calling out both their judging would not only call out character flaws, but it also enforces that even though they hate eachother and would never want to be like the other, they have a lot of the same flaws.
Also, being sheltered in a palace her whole life, I think she might think kind of black and white sometimes, and while she knows when people are just being mean as an act, she might struggle when it comes to people like reformed criminals.
Maybe she's able to be meaner to Hugo because she justifies it by telling herself he's criminal, and therefore bad, possibly glossing over the reasons he might be like that (maybe it crosses her mind, but she tells herself it's not a good enough reason, because stealing is still stealing, and he literally steals EVERYTHING. Even little trinkets and stuff he definitely doesn't need!). When they find out about Varian's criminal history, maybe she reexamines her views on morality and how she used to see people, because by her standards, Varian is a 'bad guy' who's caused harm to SO many people, but he's also the kind, caring, helpful friend that she's been traveling with who would never willingly hurt anyone.
Moving on to Amber x Nuru, I honestly never find myself liking the ship because Amber isn't developed enough which is fine. I don't think every character has to be a magnificent work of art. Side characters are side characters, but their romance is usually written like: "wow that girl is cute! I have a crush now!" Which is cool, but then that's about as far as it gets, then timeskip! Or offscreen they're a couple now. I know it's a side couple so it won't have as much devlopment as something like Varigo, but I never really see their dynamic play out in different situations. Like I don't know how to explain it, but it feels like they solely exist to be a couple? Amber sometimes just feels like an extention of Nuru, and their relationship feels surface level a lot of the time.
I feel like too often she's just watered down to the nice, smart, grounded friend, and I don't know I just think thereâs so much more to explore with her. Sheâs not just some side character. She's literally part of the main cast! Even in fanart I feel like she doesn't really get a lot of stuff besides funny art and just like, pictures meant to look pretty. Unlike something you get a lot with characters like Varian or Hugo.
And honestly I get it. Some characters you just don't take an intrest in. I know I find Varian, Hugo, and Nuru more relatable than I find Yong, but I feel like part of that is developing their characters rather than just seeing them on a surface level. Ofc there are exceptions and there are some stories that dive deeper into Nuru's character out there! I just happen to see this A LOT.
Wow i said "surface level" a lot didn't I đđ
Anyway thank you for reading my rant i wanna know what you guys think!!

OC Asks:
Character Design Edition
Thank you for the tag @mrsmungus!!
You made me realize I did not have a piccrew for Faith, and I had to search one out to remedy this. So that said, here is a cartoon rep of the main protagonist of my original story, Faith Lochren.
Hot mess of a woman...
That said, I had picked a face claim of Jennifer Carpenter, specifically in a Debra Morgan capacity, for reference sake. Very... Eloquent with her words, and always said with such tact. And by that, I mean, she does neither of those things.
Full questions and answers below for length sake.
No pressure tagging: @cxttlefishcxller @thebejeweledwatercat @darknightfrombeyond and OPEN TAG for anybody who would want to jump in!!
Gance: At first glance, what stands out most about your OC's appearance? What's their distinguishing feature?
In general, the overall disheveled state of her would most likely draw attention first. She has no fucks left to give. Pair that with her recent tendency to live life in a drunken stupor, and you get a mess of unkempt hair falling wherever it wants, buttons that don't quite match up with their intended button holes, and whatever loose socks are closest to the bed, matching be damned...
Face: Describe your OC's face. What's their smile like? Are their orbs cerulean? What would someone notice first when looking at them?
Smiles are beautiful, but tainted by the fact that it's almost guaranteed to be accompanied by a fair amount of shit. Hazel eyes that can change based on their surroundings are now dulled and dark, usually hidden by heavy lids. While there are some people that can be said to bring a light to the room; Faith brings a storm.
Stature: What's your OC's body type? How tall are they? Do they wear clothing to accentuate their look or do they try to mask it?
With a slender build and average height, Faith would have no problem turning heads if she put her mind to it. And, she did put more effort into it once upon a time. But now the clothes hang where the fall, and she isn't bothering to make any attempts.
Motion: How does your OC move? How does their clothing help or hinder their range of motion? Are they flexible, coordinated, clumsy?
Faith was active once. Fairly swift, decently coordinated. But now with about three shots in her bloodstream at any given time, she's lost a good deal of that. Clothing is just another obstacle to work around.
Stillness: How does your OC act while still? Are they fidgety? Do they have any common gestures or tics? Does their clothing affect how they hold themselves while at rest?
In her past, Faith did have issues with anxiety. Self consciousness that would eat at her. But now, it's just a dull voice in the back of her head. A voice that takes a back seat to the cynicism, and is drowned out with drinks. Smoking numbs the urge to fight, and swirling the booze around the glass fills any lingering urge. Clothing still hangs where it falls.
Canvas: Does your OC have any scars, piercings, tattoos, or other markings? Do they display or cover them up at all?
There's nothing that truly separates her in this respect. When she was a kid, her ears were pierced, but she hates the weight of wearing anything. By the end of the day after wearing earrings, her ears hurt, and why the fuck would she want to keep doing that.
Night: What does your OC wear to sleep? Do they have a favorite pair of PJs, or are they more the birthday suit type?
Preference used to be underwear only. Sometimes and oversized T-shirt to go with. Now, it's whatever she finds herself in when she's tired. Sometimes sleep calls before the desire to strip down hits, and she's face down passed out in bed with a button down and jeans. She usually manages to ditch the coat and shoes beforehand. Usually.
Day: What does your OC wear on a normal day? Why do they default to those clothes? Do they wear similar things, or do they change it up?
Faith doesn't have a shortage of button down shirts and cozy sweaters. Jeans are preferred, although she has held a few jobs that require dress pants. Shirts would also be acceptable, but fuck that noise. Pants or bust. She'll throw on a blazer to dress it up as well, although anymore, it's haphazard at best.
Formal: What's your OC's formal look? Do they like dressing up? Do they have different looks for different occasions?
Dressing up is not one of Faith's strong points. Put her in high heels, and you might as well be looking at a baby deer staggering about. Good chance that ends with an ace bandage and crutches. Blazers about as good as your getting, and she'd be more apt to throw on a tie than a dress. If she needs to, she'll through on a dress here or there, but flat shoes only.
Informal: What's your OC's lazy-day look? How do they like to dress when they're winding down?
Jeans are a staple. She could throw on some sweatpants or fuzzy PJ bottoms if they're there, but it doesn't really feel any different. T- shirt. Sweaters. Whatever is clean and easy is the best for her. Lazy day and all; that means no work in thinking about what she's wearing.
Outerwear: What's your OC's outerwear situation? Jacket, sweater, cloak? What sort of weather do they deal with most and how do they protect themselves?
Faith is definitely in an area that will encompass all four seasons. Sometimes within the same week. Hoodies, blazers, or jackets for spring/fall days or summer nights. Heavier pea coats and puffy winter jackets for the colder days. Sweaters for all times, cause sometimes, you're just cold. And fingerless gloves are just about perfect anytime.
Footwear: What does your OC wear on their feet?
Never heels. Never. Platforms are Shakey at best. Sneakers, boots, sandles, perfectly fine, but she is not twisting another ankle, thank you very much.
Road: What does your OC wear while traveling? Do they have high-quality equipment, or are they making do? What does their gear look like?
Faith was never really prepared for outdoors. She loves it, but it was never a big thing until Paul came into her life. The most she has is what could easily be seen from a magazine image as staple items. Hiking boots and flannel, that's what people wear, right? So that's what she has. Thankfully, the hiking boots and button ups are nice enough to fit into everyday rotation. Not that she's really concerned with acceptable in the first place.
Armor: What kind of armor does your OC wear? Is it well kept? Bonus: where does it come from? Is there a story behind it?
No armor for Faith, unless you count the emotional kind. And that shit has some sizable splits that need attention.
Arms: Does your OC have any weapons? What weapons do they carry, and how do they wear them when they're not fighting?
Faith doesn't really carry weapons. She has mace, but also has a bad habit of forgetting to take it anywhere. It lives in the end table drawer for the most part. She can wield a fine frying pan when push comes to shove. Baseball bats can do some damage too. She's resourceful.
Roots: Is your OC's look inspired by any specific style of clothing or fashion trend? What are the roots and/or inspiration for their look?
She's a bit of a chaotic blend of grunge and noir. On put together days, she could pull a stylish detective vibe, but anymore, it's leaning way more grunge with the lack of maintenance and care.
Texture: Does your OC favor any specific kinds of cloth or textures? Is there anything they can't wear or don't like? What sort of fabrics do they prefer?
There's not much of a no-go for Faith unless it's scratchy. Nobody should have to put up with scratchy fabric, and she sure as shit won't be dealing with it. Soft fabrics are welcome, especially in sweater form. She's been known to frequent thrift shops back in the day, and loves a good broken in feel that sometimes comes with those finds.
Wardrobe: How big is your character's wardrobe? Do they wear things threadbare, or can they afford new clothes often? Are they any good at mending and repairing their own clothing?
Threadbare. Adds character. She has attempted to sew a few of the larger holes, but has a tendency to just use whatever thread is around, regardless of the fabric color. If you see sandy thread holding together a black sweater, no the fuck you didn't. She tried.
Bling: What jewelry does your OC wear? Does it have any meaning?
She has a simple rose gold engagement ring that Paul gave her. She will not be taking it off. Ever. And if you try, you better pray she's dead. And you better be prepared to be haunted for the trouble, if that's the case.
Hair: How does your OC wear their hair? Does it have some kind of meaning?
Even before her life fell apart, Faith didn't put much effort into her hair. One cut every other year. Let it ride until it gets too long and then it gets hacked away. She's donated it a few times. There's not much meaning to it; she just really doesn't care that much. It's only gotten worse now, and is known to be a tangled unkempt mess.
Makeup: Does your OC wear makeup? How often? What kind? Why do they wear makeup, and do they like it?
On special occasions, she would, but not frequently. Just another pain in the ass thing to deal with. And scrubbing off the scary eyes after the eyeliner and mascara run in the shower is the fucking worst.
Favorite: Does your OC have a favorite article of clothing or accessory? What is it? What's the meaning behind it? Do they wear it all the time or do they wear it sparingly to keep it safe?
The "bling" item is just about it. Everything else is a matter of convenience.
Change: Has your OC ever drastically changed their appearance? Significant haircuts, big tattoos, complete wardrobe swap, etc? Why? How do they feel about the change?
Hair really is her biggest swing. She's tried color as well as length changes, but it's just more upkeep that she hates commiting to. She's not a big fan of change. At all. And with the threadbare mentality for clothing, she's just been tacking on items here and there for rotation for years.
Alternate: What would your OC's alternate universe look be? If they're a fantasy character, what's their modern look? If they're sci-fi, what's their fantasy look? What AU would you want to see your OC in, and how would they dress themself? Bonus: Prompt an AU!
Well, I've been playing a shit ton of Diablo lately, so I guess I could see her as a rogue or sorcerer. She's quick and resourceful. And I'm sure she would love to throw some flames at quite a few people. Please fuck with her now. Try it. But she'd also get herself into trouble fast.
#this was way longer than I expected#but still very fun#and helpful to get in the mindset#did I mention I love character development?#cause I love character development#mouse is back on her nonsense#close to the vale#oc: faith lochren

thank you for addressing the Alhaitham and aranara thing!!! loved your critique and explanations! personally I feel overwhelmed with game lore since there's just too much and I think many people like me just tend to forget stuff and then hype over new bits of info?? nice to know that there are people like you who actually remember and understand the lore to analyze and explain these things. it makes me happy
Yeah, I think it's totally fair to be excited about new possibilities and jump on them as inspiration to create new things like fanart and fics!
I just think the Hoyoverse fandoms in particular have a major issue with not being able to distinguish between "This is now my headcanon based on an exciting new hint" and "This is absolutely canon now, and if you think otherwise, you're mischaracterizing."
The moment a lot of people in Hoyo fandoms see a new interpretation on social media or a new tidbit in a Hoyo promotion pop up, they completely rearrange their understanding of the games and characters to suit the new information, usually without checking whether it actually matches canon or not.
And personally I think it's completely cool for people to have headcanons, even really wild and out there headcanons! Even headcanons that contradict canon in the first place! Go for it!!
But I'm just begging people to remember that they can't enforce their headcanons like they're indisputable canon material. Until there is evidence in the game, confirmed word from the developers, or at least some explicit confirmation that the promotional material is fully canon, then whatever takes the fans develop are just fanon and should be treated as such, and people should really be careful not to frame their personal interpretations as canon without at least having some form of evidence from the game itself.
It's like... don't write an essay for school without sources! Don't claim Alhaitham can see aranara without doing your research on aranara!! đ
#genshin impact#alhaitham#fandom dynamics#in general I think this is a problem in a lot of fandoms#people see a take that they love and just run with it#which is great!!!#...so long as people can remember the difference between headcanon and actual canon#like I personally don't mind the idea of Alhaitham being able to see aranara#I kinda don't think it's true#since he's literally never mentioned seeing one#and it's never come up even one time in-game#but hey#I wouldn't mind if they did make it canon!#I just really think the whole#âI completely changed my views on Alhaithamâ#âand now think he's full of inner-child charmâ#âbecause I read one tweet on twitterâ#is like... maybe not the most accurate way to build your interpretations of characters#and I am not looking forward to the sudden aggression#the fandom will develop for anyone who DOESN'T think Alhaitham#is a kid at heart

Hello Rassilon. Apologies for the deception but I rather wanted to make sure you started reading, so I thought it best not to announce myself. I'm assuming you're alone; you always did prefer to read your Asks in private. I wouldn't try too hard to stop reading, there's every likelihood you'll just hurt yourself. So just listen.
Anon ask of Omega (Your Ex) regarding Rassilon's current partners. Ask begins.
I hope you'll forgive me the self-indulgence, but I have worked so very hard for this moment, a culmination of two centuries of work. It's rare that you get the chance to monologue through another, and you can't tell me you're not curious.
Why does an ex seek to talk about their former partner's lovers?
It's a simple enough answer: for satisfying one's curiosity. Uninspired, perhaps, but my god. The discovery, not simply of the variety of partners you take interest in, but that you would quite willingly date the teacher of one of Gallifrey's most infamous children.
It's a strange thing to know about an ex, but the fascination, Rassilon, the fascination of it all. I have dedicated my afterlife to handing myself knowledge of these partners, and I feel nothing but satisfaction in this choice.
I believe there are far more people in this world that would catch your eye than you would ever guess. And I have preceeded all of them.
Of course, their desires did not manifest overnight. When Tumblr first gathered your romantic intereste â Borusa, Banthony, and the rest â to discuss and hypothesize on the nature of their love for you, I felt what I believe we all felt: jealousy, and anger.
But as attention on Tumblr increased in number and discussion on the greatest partner for you emerged, I began to develop a very specific concern. Banthony was so obsessed with his ideas on you and his marriage, even as our fellows began to flirt and confess our love to you ourselves.
I began to worry that if Banthony successfully attempted to catch your gaze, then I would be as much a victim as any, trapped in the nightmare landscape of a twisted world without your love.
At first, I attempted prevention, but the cause seemed hopeless. The only way to ensure I did not suffer the tribulations of what I believed to be an inevitable confession of love was to stop my own feelings of love. So what began as an experiment soon became a race. I would make you fall in love with Banthony before professing your love to anyone else, therefore eliminating what myself or Borusa's feelings may be.
And there, I think, we are brought just about up to date. I have enjoyed our little trip down memory lane, but past here lies only a happy future for you and Banthony.
Goodbye, Rassilon
- Omega xoxo
I- I don't know what to say.
Omega, if this is really you, if you somehow, by every twist and turn of fate imaginable, survived this long in some form... My love for you has always been the greatest of any I have felt. Never have I loved another in the way I loved you.
But that is in the past. I have to stop letting you hold me back. I made my decision that fateful day; I did what I had to do to reach the top, to shape this society- our society, our dream- in the way that it must be shaped. Gallifrey could never have had two rulers. You knew this going in. And, best of all, dearest love, you knew that I would not be able to stand a threat to my power and my control. So, as much as I loved you, Omega, my sweet Ohm, my darling Peylix, I had to let you go. For us, for our home, for our people, for our dream. For Gallifrey. We would both be dead and gone by now if I had not, but now, you live on in your beautous creations, and in our shared society. Look at our children. At what we have created. This must be enough.
Oh, but my darling, you never could be so easily satisfied.
That is why I loved you. And that is why I had to let you go.
If this really were you, I would say, dearest Ohm, that I am glad you are able to let me go. I know that must be exceedingly difficult. But, I am happy with Borusa, and I do not love Banthony. If I did not have Borusa to think of, perhaps things would be different, and I would honour your wishes. Perhaps, then, you may finally find peace.
I am truly sorry that I must leave you trapped in your death, but you will never be in a world without my love. My love for you transcends the grave- and yes, I know, it must be your grave, my darling, for you cannot have survived beyond. I know, in my hearts, that you are gone and that this cannot be from you, not really, for you are lost to all but my memory.
Goodbye, my love. For whatever isn't left of you, for whatever could have been- my love for you persists even now, across regenerations and across death and across time.
#sorry it took me so long to get here#this is truly the most incredible ask I have ever received#ask#omega#of rassilon#answer#banthony#borusa#also. a little obsessed with the idea of a once-enraged ex lover returning to being obsessed with the guy who LITERALLY MURDERED HIM only t#end up wanting the best for him and trying to match make him. And instead of choosing to encourage the love of a fellow obsessive sub who#is clearly in an unhealthy relationship with Rassy (Borusa)#ergo mirroring his own lost relaitonship#he chooses to encourage the love of a FICTIONAL CHARACTER who was basically a MEME brought to life only to annoy Rassy#idk what you call it... character development?? BUt this is certainly wonderful and intriguing and hilarious#seriously. you are brilliant#also I think it's important to mention that the mian reason this took me so long to get to was because the first time I read it I opened it#at school and burst out laughing in front of everyone#and I haven't been able to answer this without laughing uproariously for so so long#and then I took the break and then I left town for a bit#but I'm back and I'm still laughing so so much and yet here we are#I did it!!!#also I hope Borusa sees this and gets mad and finally leaves this bitch (rassy)#he deserves better#find later#omega omega omega

while im looking thru my old unfinished art, happy pride month to my two gay kitties from the warriors oc fanfic i was writing back in 2017-2018. featuring skystar's boyfriend who would show up later in the fic which i never got to write far enough to feature him. lol
#art is also from 2018 .#main reason i didnt finish it is. as you can probably see. the background was a huge massive landscape thing#which i. did not have the patience nor skill for#and i guess instead of scaling it back i just . like. gave up on it LOL#brot posts#wips#sometimes i still fantasize about picking that story back up and finishing it..................#also whenever i rarely mention this guy i always have to preface it. i made this oc back in middle school like a year before#dawn of the clans even started publishing at all#and so i named him skystar all on his own i did not know of any skystar in canon#i mean logically i should have known if theres a skyclan and all clan founders were [clan-prefix]star then like.#logically there would be a skystar#but i was using fanclans and i loved the name sky- as a prefix and i also was a stickler for name rules#which included not ever ever using a clan name as a prefix#so i had fanclans and skyclan was not one of them THEREFORE sky as a prefix was free fucking reign baby#and then. as one does. i made him leader#his warrior name was skystorm though which i still think is baller#anyway and his boyfriend (on the left) is named Bluebell#former kittypet who keeps his kittypet name#largely also bc i have a pet peeve where i hate two-syllable prefixes#but as i was trying to write the fic in 2018 years after when i first made these characters in middle school#i think i was trying to workshop bluebell's name cuz i wasnt entirely thrilled with it#bluebell as a whole is not very developed bc i really havent touched him much at all since middle school#since. yknow. i never got to the point in the story where he first appears during my 2018 fic.............. lol#hell where i left off in that fic skystar is still just skypaw

oh the broadway world review of summer stock (a) loved it as much or more than anyone (b) has as much or more info than anyone and (c) generally has the most vivacity thus far
Summer Stock made its world premiere at The Goodspeed Opera House to a most deserving enthusiastic standing ovation. Based on the 1950 MGM film starring Hollywood legends Judy Garland and Gene Kelly, Summer Stock is a spectacular production with phenomenal dancing, feel-good music, and a sweet story, all modernized for todayâs audiences.
Audiences will recognize and love hearing classic songs by Irving Berlin and from The Great American Songbook, including âHappy Days are Here Againâ, âAccentuate the Positiveâ, âIâm Always Chasing Rainbowsâ, âItâs Only a Paper Moonâ, âMe and My Shadowâ, âRed Hot Mammaâ, ââTil We Meet Again", and âYou Wonderful Youâ. Summer Stockâs writer, Cheri Steinkellner, takes the original film story to a whole new level that both contemporary and classic theater goers will absolutely adore. Steinkellner provides additional lyrics to upgrade the story to first class. Itâs hard to believe that she âgot the callâ to write Summer Stock in October, completed the workshop draft by March, and had the rehearsal draft ready by June for a July opening. Steinkellner clearly works well under pressure - Summer Stock is a diamond.
In the Writerâs Notes, Steinkellner elaborates on the restrictions of bringing the film to stage (like how heavy farm machinery wouldnât fit up on the Goodspeed stage) and how she tackled answering the many questions that the original film glossed over: âWhy is a Shakespearean matinee idol starring in a musical in a barn? What happens when you make show-people wake up at sunrise to muck out the stalls?â and more. She repositioned and repurposed the filmâs original songs like âHowdy Neighborâ and âDig for Your Dinnerâ, so the classic elements that film fans are looking for are still there - only, frankly, much much better. Lastly, she addresses the challenge of âcrafting a [contemporary] story to support a diverse cast of characters with intention, authenticity, and care.â Steinkellner rose to the challenge, knocked it out of the park, and created a great musical in record time.
The story is simple and sweet. Set just after World War II, we meet Jane Falbury (Danielle Wade), a doting daughter working the family farm with her father, Lt. Henry âPopâ Falbury (Stephen Lee Anderson). The Falbury Farm is in trouble thanks to the devious and ambitious Margaret Wingate (Veanne Cox), who has grand aims for a monopoly over the Connecticut River Valley. Scheming with her naive son, Orville (Will Roland), they will stop at nothing to own the farm. Meanwhile, Janeâs showgirl sister, Gloria (Arianna Rosario), has moved to The Big Apple to make it on Broadway. She wins a spot in the chorus line of Joe Rossâ (Corbin Bleu) brand new show. With his sidekick and music director, Phil Filmore (Gilbert L. Bailey II) in tow and a Shakespearean star, Montgomery Leach, ready to take center stage, they hit a snag when they lose their rehearsal space. Gloria suggests uprooting the show to rehearse in her familyâs barn. Jane, who is fresh out of farm hands, reluctantly agrees to let the actors stay in exchange for earning their keep. The companyâs tight harmonies might not charm Jane at first, but they certainly had us swooning. I wonât spoil the entire plot, but will say that hilarity ensues, hearts flutter, dreams are realized, and itâs wonderful.
When I first heard about Summer Stock, I cynically thought that it felt too familiar. The show is set on a Connecticut farm whose owners have fallen on hard times and risk losing their livelihood. They turn to their Broadway friends, who are amidst the usual uphill battle of making it big in show business, and agree to put on a brand new production in the barn to raise funds to save the farm. Itâs based on the film of the same name, features music by Irving Berlin, and includes incredible tap numbers, and spotlights Americaâs sweetheart Corbin Bleu. Hearing that alone, Iâd think this was a copy/paste of Tony Award-nominated Holiday Inn: The New Irving Berlin Musical, which opened at The Goodspeed in 2014 and went to Broadway in 2016. Weâve seen a number of Irving Berlin musicals, including White Christmas, and the most recent Broadway production Nice Work if You Can Get It, starring Kelli OâHara and Matthew Broderick. So, what more is there to add to this Broadway subgenre? If youâd asked me before, I would argue thereâs âNothing More to Sayâ. I was very wrong. Summer Stock raises the bar with phenomenal choreography, clever storytelling and humor, beautiful orchestrations, and unparalleled performers.
Speaking of unparalleled performers, the cast is perfection. Thereâs not a single throwaway line or character. Theyâre all exquisite gems and Iâm running out of words to compliment them all. The âcity miceâ dancers and ensemble features Erika Amato, Hannah Balagot, DeShawn Bowens, Ronnie S. Bowman Jr., Emily Kelly, Francesca Mancuso, Tommy Martinez, Corinne Munsch, Gregory North, Kaylee Olson, Jack Sippel, and Cayel Tregeagle. Danielle Wade sweetly croons just like Judy Garland and swept audiences off their feet. As I left the theater, I overheard two ladies praising Wade for her stupendous performance, saying it was perfect likeness of Garland, yet even more meaningful. Arianna Rosario, as the sugary sweet sister, is absolutely delightful. Stephen Lee Anderson, as the veteran and father, tugs our heart strings. Gilbert L. Bailey II and Will Roland had the crowd roaring with laughter as the feisty music director and innocent corporate heir. Veanne Cox, as the melodramatic mother and CEO of Wingate Agricultural Corporate, had the crowd roaring with laughter from the moment she spoke her first line. Not to be outdone, J. Anthony Crane, as the over-the-top Shakespearean star, brought down the house with his entrance alone. Together, Cox and Crane generate instant heat, which is especially appropriate since they rock the stage with Red Hot Mamma. The cheeky, interspersed Shakespearean innuendo is fast-paced, clever, and had the audience hooting and hollering. I would see the show again for this duo.
Last, but far from least, Corbin Bleu, as the showâs director, gives the performance of a lifetime. Bleu radiates pure joy and leads with heart, inviting his scene partners to shine with him. Audiences instantly fell in love with his gorgeous, velvety voice, and, understandably, swooned. Bleu previously won the Chita Rivera Award for Outstanding Male Dancing in a Broadway Show for his portrayal in Irving Berlinâs Holiday Inn, and his transcendent tapping in Summer Stock shows heâs not stopping there. Bleuâs dancing is out of this world! You canât miss his charming and virtuosic spin on Gene Kellyâs iconic solo dance, featuring the worldâs most unexpected dance partner. Corbin Bleu is a national treasure.
The 8-piece orchestra, lead by Goodspeedâs resident music director Adam Souza, performs the remarkable orchestrations, by Doug Besterman, beautifully. The score is demanding, but the musicians donât let us see them sweat. As much as Iâm gushing, I would recommend shifting the show to one hour earlier and give it a little trim. Not a haircutterâs inch, but a discreet tidy-up. As it turns out, I was in slight agreement with the obnoxious subscribers behind me, who disrupted a precious moment to voice their complaints, âThis is two hours and forty minutes? Way too long!â I nearly turned to fisticuffs in defense of this phenomenal cast, but chose to deliver an icy, yet effective, glare. I digress, but Goodspeed subscribers are truly spoiled with top-rate performers straight from the Broadway stage. In any case, we could use a couple more developmental scenes to fully flesh out the plot, and Iâd be willing to sacrifice by shaving a bit off some of the longer dance numbers (âEverybody Stepâ and âDig For Your Dinnerâ) and songs. (Not too much! Just an inch! And donât dare recast any characters!)
That isnât to say that the dance performances werenât epic: Summer Stock has the best dancing I have ever seen, hands down. The virtuosic ensemble, lovingly called âcity miceâ, perfectly deliver wildly acrobatic displays all with impossibly high-energy and make it look easy. Director and choreographer, Donna Feore, has made an unforgettable, magnificent Goodspeed debut. Feore makes use of every inch of the stage, making it feel larger than life, and her attention to detail is unsurpassed. The choreography is out of this world! Wilson Chin, scenic designer, set the stage beautifully. The Technicolor New England farm-turned-theater is framed with classic red-sided barn, delicate florals climbing the walls, and hurricane lanterns lovingly displayed as accent pieces. Summer Stock is Goodspeedâs best original production ever. The 12, which opens next, has very big shoes to fill. Summer Stock has its eyes set on Broadway. Does Summer Stock deserve a Broadway run? Absolutely. In this criticâs opinion, it couldnât get there soon enough. Perhaps my favorite aspect of the production were the many comedic theater flourishes. Broadway audiences will cry with laughter when they watch the city mice (actors) learn how to play the part of farmhands: âWhat is the farmerâs motivation?â âE-I, E-I!â Frankly, I want an original cast album yesterday. Finally, when it opens on Broadway, youâll wish you had seen it at The Goodspeed first.

have a new character who plays the harp so I looked up just âharp coverâ because idk I just want to start thinking about how it would look/sound, but anyway now Iâve come to the conclusion that Fireflies should never be played on anything but the harp.
#rose and rambles#prosie's writing adventures#i decided this like one measure into the video#obvs my goal is to find songs that fit the characters and ya know what maybe fireflies does but eh im still perusing#fun fact! in the fairy tale by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve#Beauty is very skilled with instruments and singing and performs for her family to lift their spirits#hence the harp thing#but also i thought it was so interesting how the fairy tale *does* mention that she likes reading and the beast's library#but it's only in passing and its more of a 'oh that could be a way to pass the time'#UNTIL SHE FINDS THE MAGIC MIRROR#and then she uses it to watch operas and plays and stuff from afar and/or the servants in the castle put on performances for her#I do think the disney version did so much more for developing the beast's character and from a writing perspective#the fact that his curse is so closely tied to his own character arc is much tighter writing#but it's also interesting how disney has truly impacted all subsequent retellings of beauty and the beast#to the point that the beast's arrogance and belle's love of books has become synonymous with the fairy tale#okay end of ramble and back to harp covers

#NOOOOOOOOO#Oh god oh fuck oh#That is. Actually one of those weird fears I've had before#If I become Chrysalis with her backstory I'm already fucked#IF I BECOME NEMO THOUGH?#XOLANIE????#LAMBE????? I DON'T WANNA BECOME OJ I HAVE HAD ENOUGH CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT ALREADY PLEASE#If I become Mister Lavender it's basically the same as normal except I live inside my own story while writing it#And everyone around me is just a character I'm writing who if they know about me hates me either out of resentment or jealousy or both#Gideon. I will have to live with the knowledge.#Gideon is probably the safest at least until the end since everyone dies in different meta ways ofc#Being Nemo. I would not cope.#I'm already overstimulated enough but the whole point of Nemo is that they hear and see everything in the World#to the point of being so overstimulated they just completely disassociate from reality#The disassociation is so bad they consider it 'dying' and being 'reborn' whenever they snap out of it#Because it's so different and hellish than normal and the only brief time they're aware is that one time when they were five#and that little while when they were eleven#AND IF I'M XOLANIE. I HAVE TO FEEL THE PAIN OF EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING IN THE WORLD????#Also it'll definitely fuck me up more with my numb emotions if I'm forced to feel the Love of the World like Nemo or the Hate like Xolanie#Chrysalis. Would I be able to leave the story like Chrysalis did?#She was so so brave for leaving but I have no idea if she's dead or alive because she left the story#I'm screwed no matter who I am.#And that is not even mentioning all the Lamp characters who are constantly rewritten in EVERY MOMENT THEY'RE IN THE STORY#tinhj#tagging my other blog so I can find and think about this later

So, I was tagged in a "Top 10 Favorite TV shows" post a little while back, and I've sadly lost it (even though I really wanted to do it!):( And thank you to who tagged me in the post. I think it was @i-love-books-because-reasons? If I ever find the post again, I'll reblog it properly. But for now, I'll just answer it this way. (For some reason, I've decided not to included animes or cartoons, because no one did in their lists. Maybe that will be its own list. Or "younger shows," like Disney channel ones. But if I did, Lizzie McGuire would have made it:))
Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Series (though I'll be listing them separately) - have become my favorite shows of all-time (though they're also slightly tied with Dark Angel). They're just... so good and perfect, with such good writing and themes, and I could analyze and obsess over them for hours (and have), so of course they're here.
2. Angel the Series (mentioned above). - Though it and Buffy aren't exactly like. They're definitely their own shows and I love them both for different reasons.
3. Dark Angel season 1 - I just really latched onto Dark Angel, and have never been able to let it go... which is funny, because I didn't like it that much in the first few episodes: probably because they really went over my head as a kid. -shrugs- But I love my reluctant, badass heroine Max and how she grows. Speaking of Max? Love of my life. The love story between her and Logan is still one of the best written in all of TV to me. And the relationship between Max and her "siblings"--and just learning about this poor girl created in a lab, who had never even been in a house before when she was nine and things like that--has always spoken to me. The "fight the man" and "protect the downtrodden" plot is also great.
4. Tru Calling - It's thanks to my sister that I discovered this awesome show, and Eliza Dushku. The premise is just so wonderful: Tru having the ability to relive days and save people who died before their time. And whenever the show threw a wrench into the usual formula was fun. Particularly when Jack showed up, who was the opposite of Tru: trying to stop her actions, because he thought she was messing with the natural order of things and there would be disastrous consequences to it. The show was really finding its footing when it was canceled. And what the writers released of their plans for what they were going to do next? I cry that we didn't get to see that. But alas.
Smallville - Baby's first show for teens and up:) I have so many fond memories of discovering Smallville... and rewatching the episodes again and again with friends, and between new seasons. Also, watching new episodes when they aired. I feel like the idea of Smallville was great: tell the story of Superboy growing up on a TV show. It worked so well: and made so many people connect with Clark Kent/Superman, who otherwise might have trouble with it. It developed him and his relationships so well... and we won't talk about how well Lex Luthor was also developed (and played by Michael Rosenbaum): the best part of the show to many people. And how genius it was to have them start out the show as friends only to become the enemies they were fated to be. -sobs- Also, as it's been said, we wouldn't have the Arrowverse if Smallville hadn't come first. So credit where credit is due. And speaking of that, this was the time before the MCU and that sort of thing. So seeing hero cameos on this show was so shocking, new, and the best.
Alias - The first badass female heroine I ever saw on live-action TV--and fell in love with--was Sydney Bristow (aside from Xena: Warrior Princess, that I don't remember that well, because I was, like, five when I was watching Xena). Also my introduction to the wacky world of J.J. Abrams' writing. And as wacky as J.J. Abrams can get, and we all know it, I think he did a good job with Alias, and was pretty nuanced and tame here. There was just enough of his Mystery Box stuff to keep me intrigued, in this interesting spy story that I loved. And Sydney Bristow is seriously the greatest, and deserves the world. And Alias actually has one of the few TV endings that I actually like, for the most part.
Kyle XY - Another show similar to Dark Angel, in that it's about a human made in a lab (though that's a mystery for most of S1). And I really liked this show--and its main family the Tragers. Definitely one of the best things ABC Family ever did... and I'll forever be angry that it ended on a cliffhanger.
Roswell - A TV show about what if aliens did crash in Roswell, and lived among us as half-aliens, half-humans. This show is definitely largely a romance, but there's definitely more to it than just that: with some battles with other aliens, the aliens trying to get home, and stay alive from the government trying to kill them, etc. Maily it's the characters and their various relationships that make this show so great. It's certainly a product of its time, early 90's WB, but I'm nostalgic for it and love it too much. And we wouldn't have a number of shows we do today without it. Liz and Maria also have one of the best female friendships of all time. And this show is another one where I actually like the ending.
The Chosen - A TV show that tells what Jesus' ministry was like through the disciples' PoV. And I can't explain just how well made this show is. Seriously. People who aren't even religious watch it and love it. People have compared its quality to Game of Thrones... err, in a good way (I know that can be considered an insult now, after S8). This is what all Christian media should always attempt to be.
Bonus:
Dollhouse - The idea of this show is really neat (with people who have their memories and personalities wiped, and someone else's placed into them, when they're "bought" to live out someone's fantasy), but also hella problematic... though, granted, it's sort of problematic on purpose to draw attention to these problems in real life, but still. This show also becomes completely different by the end, than how it started out (I actually love this plot twist, and won't spoil it for those who don't know). But sadly, it didn't have too much to delve into this twist before it was canceled. But I do still love this show for what it did, and all the potential it had.
Game of Thrones - I loved this show so much, originally. As most people did. But then it really started going downhill when it ran out of books to adapt. Even before that, though, you could kind of see the cracks, with how they changed Daenerys so much... Or how they changed Robb Stark's marriage plot line from being about honor (like how Ned died) to love, etc. But even so, we still (mostly) have a few really good seasons, at least.
#long post#tv shows#shanna's tv shows#there are probably some other ones i could have mentioned like once upon a time or supernatural... but i really started disliking them and#stopped watching and moreso like them at the start or in a 'i can fix them' kind of way. so that's why they don't make my top 10 i guess#i do like gossip girl... but that show also starts annoying me (and technically i haven't finished it yet) so it would probably be unfair t#list it. and i don't think i like it more than other ones on this list actually. i do like it though#i also didn't get into buffy and angel much here (maybe i should have) because i never shut up about them on my blog#so i feel like people already know about them because of that who know me. but maybe i should have. oh well#also... you gotta love how four of my favorite shows have eliza dushku in them. but i'm so not complaining. lol#oh! nbc's chuck was supposed to be on this list as a bonus but i accidentally deleted it. oops#once upon a time in wonderland and boy meets world would also be good bonuses#syfy alice (2009) would potentially be on here if i didn't see it more of a movie and if it wasn't SUCH a short mini-series. but it is grea#lost is another show with supernatural and ouat with me that i really liked at first but oh did it do things#for me i think the good still outweighs the bad with the characters and their development despite the bad ending and so many plot threads#being meaningless but i also completely understand when others feel the opposite way

I love these! â¤ď¸ Balto's father looks great, and so does his mother. I like how they both have gray coats.
Balto 2 and 3 are simply NOT Canon to me. XD According to Simon Wells, the creator of Wolf Quest NEVER saw the original film, which in my opinion is just... no. I was never a fan of the random inclusion of songs or the spirits, I was not much of a fan of the new characters, and Niju and his wolfie sidekicks felt more like discount Steele, Nikki, Kaltag, and Star.
Also, looking back now it makes NO SENSE that Aleu looks more like a wolf than Balto. Everyone said she looked more wolf than Balto, even Balto said so, and yet she was literally 3/4 dog (Siberian Husky), 1/4 wolf. If she was more wolf than he, she'd be more like Mia Tuk/White Fang, who had a pureblooded wolf for a father and a 1/2 wolf-hybrid (Kiche) for a mother. Mathematically speaking, she should have looked more like her siblings.
Plus, it is obvious that Balto got his brownish-gray coat from his wolf-father. If his wolf-parent was indeed the white wolf he saw, Balto would have been born with white fur. Also, Balto wouldn't have been born in the town of Nome if his mother was a wolf. He would have been born in the wild.
I like to imagine his father resembled one of these wolves from the film:
I've been wanting to make fanart of Balto as a pup with his father.
And I would base him off of one of those wolves.
Baltoâs parents
info from dA (for those who donât get the idea):
Prospective  Baltoâs parents Melona and I donât accept version of Balto 2 that the white wolf is his mother. Itâs a spiritual embodiment of his wolf nature, inner cry. Each time you watch this scene, the whole body is covered with goose bumps. Very emotional moment. And the second part destroyed the whole idea and the atmosphere, as the most of the sequels. Well, I just leave it here: âşSimon Wells said that Baltoâs mother was working sled dog and his father was the wolf; their story was in the style of Romeo and Juliet; âşThe White wolf is not real (Simon Wells said that he is the male character, and said that he deliberately portrayed his mysterious and inexplicable, and he said again that wolfblood Balto got inherited from his father) . Wells described it as âthe incarnation of the inner call of the Baltic, calls on him to take the wolf essence and realize that this is a strength, not a shame.â I decided to try, as they might look like. I tried not much knock them out of the original style, but not so lucky.
#balto#wolf#dog#wolfdog#fanart#art#Balto 2 is NOT Canon to me lol#Neither is Balto 3#The fact that the director of Wolf Quest NEVER SAW the first film just says a lot to me#I wouldn't be surprised if most of the people behind All Dogs Go to Heaven 2 and the series never saw the first ADGTH either#It would certainly explain A LOT of the weird writing decisions and inconsistencies and retcons they did#FFS Judith Barsi's death did not stop the Land Before Time sequels from including and recasting Ducky!#I know Anne-Marie's story was done but it would have not hurt or offended anyone if they at least had Charlie and/or Itchy mention her!#Charlie should have stuck around to help the new boy to make up for what he did to Anne-Marie#Instead of avoiding returning to Heaven because he was bored of it and wanted a piece of ass#They should have kept his character development from the last movie intact and given him a new arc#And they should included Flo the collie and developed her some more instead of replacing her with Sasha#What is the point of including another love-interest when you could just develop the original one?#Having Flo take care of David makes sense with her character anyway and maybe the reason she took care of orphans was because SHE was one?#Red also should have been a hellhound seriously missed opportunity#Killer also SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE COMIC-RELIEF INSTEAD OF CARFACE ffs#Why dumb-down the original villain of the first movie when you already have a comic-relief sidekick at your disposal??#And omg why not set it in the 1940s instead of awkwardly setting it 60+ YEARS AFTER THE FIRST FILM?? Dogs don't even live that long! đ#UGH so many missed opportunities and wasted potential#Note to self: Make ADGTH2 fanart but with your versions of the characters and setting someday seriously XD#gazeopard rambles#universal studios
