OMG HI OKAY SO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ive actually had them in my head since 2019/20 (roughly when my periodic table sp/in started, actually) but ive only really gotten the Skills in character writing and designing and stuff (+ the general motivation) to make them more Real during this year

the atoms live on earth among all other earth things where they kinda just . Appeared one day . and they’re basically immortal lolz

they look mostly humanoid with some extra Strange Features, like actinides having spiral pupils or alkali metals being very catlike [ideally all different families have some trait that’s specific to them i just havent figured all of it out yet oops]

speaking of element families ! they work as, well, families—all elements that are part of the same group are basically siblings

[^ these are the different families (differentiated by color), just in case]

they have the properties of their physical state at room temperature . In simpler words that means gases can float, liquids are uhhh liquidy, solids have more physical strength etc etc

and yes they also have funky properties specific to what element they are !! tungsten can break walls like it’s no big deal, platinum has absolutely 0 problem with most acids, mercury somehow always knows the exact temperature, and Yes some of them explode things and catch fire

this also includes toxic elements having part of the symptoms they cause ! lead is almost blind, mercury has memory problems, selenium is always tired, radium can literally remove her jaw at will … You get it

this is the worst for radioactive atoms specifically . disjointed limbs, sickness, theyre kinda fucked up

I have some refs that ill post on here sometime + ones i want to do . this is gonna be long considering 118 is A Lot !but oh well . You can do anything you set your heart to kids
