• he’s obsessed with music. duh. but like, i mean obsessed in a “my spotify screen time is like 10+ hours a day and i doodle music notes on all my jeans” kinda way

• he never has neat hair. ever. (and we love him for it 😩)

• been playing ‘drums’ since toddlerhood, banging out melodies on anything and everything that made that kind of noise

• speaking of which, he collected milo tins as a child and had a whole drum kit made out of them

• his favourite colour is purple but you wouldn’t catch him dead admitting it

Here’s some notes and headcannons on my Rodrick.

18yrs old but still living at home with mum n dad because he’s struggling to find a place to stay at.

Started to Drabble in punk rock at about 14.

None of those piercings was he given parental permission for. The hoops on his ears bill did for him.

Bill is like a big brother uncle figure to him, he treats him nicely and lets him feel as he needs and take his time he also looks up to him a lot.

Frank and Rodrick don’t exactly see eye to eye, being a rather stuck up dad frank hates rodricks life style choices his band and just punk in general so the two often fall out over this especially rodricks band.

Susan gets along better, she looks passed the punk stuff even though she doesn’t exactly like it and tries her best to be a good mum. When Rodrick wanted drums she got them for him, when he decide to be in a band she was very supportive she’s just not sure about the heavy punk look is all.

Rodrick spends most of the time hanging around with others rather than at home. He’s often at bills house smoking cigarettes and drinking because bill lets him. When he turned 18 bill let him drink with him after he’d had a bit of a meltdown after an argument with his dad again.

Bill and him get along because bills own dad didn’t support his life style either.

Rodrick is really good with manny actually, he’s gentle and plays with him when he’s in the mood, he’s a lot nicer to him than he is Greg.

Mackie dyed his hair black for him. No he wasn’t allowed.

Autistic, adhd, dyslexic and depressed.

Probably bi but doesn’t know it

Gets into a lot of fights.

He has choppy brown hair at one point before he got drew to cut it for him and spike it since then he’s rocked his liberty spikes

He cried a lot more than his brothers thought after their parents died, he always did it in the shower because he didn’t want to scare Ponyboy and he knew Darry was stressed enough as it is

Genuinely is terrified his brothers will get out of Tulsa but he’ll be stuck behind

While he knew it wasn’t true, after playing mediator for both Pony and Darry for months and hearing them each day they though the other hated them and Soda had to convince them over and over that wasn’t true he started to worry he was wrong

Sandy and his relationship was never good even before the cheating. He knew she only liked him for his looks and he figured that was the best he was ever gonna get.

He really stuggles with the fact that he thinks he’s dumb and his brothers aren’t.

This made me so sad to write anon 😭😭 but I hope this is at least some good angst to tide you over 😂

(Some bonus happy and/or silly head canons because I CANT)

Modern AU little soda was def diagnosed with dyslexia and didn’t like to read much because of it but bro DEVOURED the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series 😂 (he also loved Percy Jackson but those books he made Darry read aloud to him and Pony)

He and Steve are EXPERTS at claw machines, somehow they always win a prize. Dally tries to copy them but never gets anything and it drives him nuts (they almost had to stop dally from shaking the machine so hard that they worried he’d get smushed by it tipping over)

He and Ponyboy never make their bed to Darry’s utter dismay unless he makes them do it because “why would I make the bed when I just have to unmake it when I want to go to bed Darry” 🤨

Loves sour patch kids and modern AU eats a good amount of the DX’s supply 😂

I appreciate all of you so much! Thank you again for noticing the posts and just interacting with my blog in general. It's been a few years since I've made gifs and have been active here and the fact that y'all still use my gifs in your RP's or your fanfictions or your headcannons etc. that just absolutely blows my mind that you still interact with my blog somehow even though I hadn't posted in a couple to a few years!

I am so so so grateful to see how many stories my gifs have been chosen to be put into and I will actually take the time to go back and read them once I find them and book mark them! I am just mind-blown that y'all are still able to search gifs and mine still pop up!

It seems silly but I really have such bad imposter syndrome with anything and everything I do and it takes me a while to process everything and to be able to do posts like this.

Also yes I went through my activity list within the passed couple of weeks for this year (2024) to be able to make sure I got everyone tagged. In a different post I will be going through all the gif sets and making another appreciation post to those of you that have supported and interacted all of the DOAK gif sets and posts that I have made over the years. You guys are all so flipping awesome and I can't believe I still get interactions on gif sets I made YEARS AGO to this very day! It's so crazy how active this fandom still is but I am so proud that it's still active!

If you guys want more gifs or want to be included in taglists for future gif sets of anyone in DOAK as the characters (or cast) or anyone else (in general) let me know. I do take requests for fanfictions, role plays, etc. whatever you need gif images for I'll do it. It might just take me a bit of time but I will always make sure I get to it.

You all have made my absolute year just for interacting with my small little blog so it does make me absolutely sentimental. DRAGON X MACHO (OR SPIN KICKS AS I HAVE DECIDED TO CALL THE SHIP) 🐉 💳

This will just be me rambling about them and head cannons and stuff!

First off, why do I ship 'em?

-I genuinely think it would be a fun paring with the contrast between the two

-they have been in TWO games together (macho being champ In both)

-I just think macho would like his fun boyfriend and would think he is super sweet and adorable

-dragon needs more love

How I think they would start dating:

-I think dragon had the most obvious crush on macho thinking he was super cool

-Heike wingmanned the whole time since he could talk to macho (being in the world circuit after all)

-they acc enjoyed each other a lot and decided to acc start dating

ANYWAYS REAL HEADCANON TIME:

dragon doesn’t mind tho he just likes to hang out with macho and macho loves to show him off and teach him how to surf (plus dragon gets to show off his cool dragon leg tattoos which is another headcannon i need to draw)

-they watch reality tv together and dragon loves to hear macho talk about the show and relationships in depth

Smm: “ that big Ed dude where do I start on HIM!”

Dragon: “um tell me his most infamous moment 宝贝”

Smm: *queue 90 day fiancé rant*

-dragon is spoiled rotten by macho, like down right decomposed rotten. dragon even mentions smth he wants and it’s his the next day

Dragon: “OMG THAT IS SO COOL” (probably a dragon figure)

Smm: “OMG YEAH BAE That’s so radical”

-like only Heike and soda know even though it’s really obv if people thought about it (and tbh if you asked macho he would so flex his “radical partner” or if you asked dragon he would gush about how amazing macho is as a boyfriend )

-GYM PARTNERS!!! Dragon helps macho on leg day and vice versa. Each of them are each other's spotter and motivate each other during sets.

Smm: “ PUMP IT BABE!! YOU GOT IT!!”

Dragon: “Focus 宝贝! I know you can do it!”

-dragon will climb on machos back randomly (he needs to be swears)

-Macho does Q and A live streams with dragon JUST off screen and ignores questions about him (he does a lil trolling)

Smm: “Welcome to another TUBULAR stream from SUPER MACHO MAN RAHH!”

“Give yours truly some questions dudes and dudettes”

(And Dragon just be Reading diary of a wimpy kid in the background) (is that a self projection onto dragon? Yes, it was but I’m not wrong)

-They Have a shared Spotify account and a shared playlist and they both connect their headphones and do smth together!

-on there shares Spotify their playlists would be named by macho and have really fun names (eg:)

EPIC RADICAL TUBULAR BEACH VIBES (macho’s personal playlist)

THE BAES TOTALLY SICK PLAYLIST (Dragon’s personal playlist)

AWESOME TOGETHER WITH THE BABE PLAYLIST (self explanatory)

-macho sleeps in bare minimum Pjs and dragon wears a full on dragon onesie

-they cook together but macho had a home chef as a kid so he kinda bad at it so dragon helps a lot and they have fun!

-Dragon LOVES to share his favourite Chinese dishes and macho demolishes it ALL

-play Roblox together (macho always convinces him play the dress up games but they still have fun)

Smm: “UGH who does SHE think she is getting a higher rating then my GNARLY outfit!!!”

Dragon: “ Your outfit is my favourite so it wins in my eyes!”

Tiger:

-plays uno with his clones (still looses)

Dragon:

-Was a diary of a wimpy kid fan just saying (he loved Rodrick rules the most bc it was blue and he loved Rodrick)

Bull:

-loves ice cream it helps him cool off (I feel like he is a salted caramel guy) there is a local place that serves his all time favourite ice creams and they don’t snitch the press so he is always there

Birdie:

-absolutely amazing at any video game he picks up like he touches smash for example and could beat any casual (I feel like he would be a Falco main)

heres some birdy hcs since i dont talk about him much:

His hair is just naturally like that, no matter how much hairspray he puts on there its chaotic as usual.

Sometimes does the trenchcoat gag with Mac and pretends to be a new boxer, it never works and they end up bumping into people every 3 seconds.

Likes sunbathing outside, he sometimes forgets to put on sunscreen but other than that he loves the sun, he hates winter & cloudy days.

Likes sour belts

Chews a lot of gum, usually hubba bubba or anything banana flavored.

Likes putting stickers on his locker, he knows how to make handmade stickers so he sometimes puts dumb little doodles on others lockers.

Sometimes cartwheels for no reason, he just finds it fun.

Hogged the monkey bars as a kid. (saying that like he still doesnt hog those monkey bars jejdjjd)

Thinks dinosaurs are really cool, its one of his biggest hyperfixations next to boxing. (yes he has the tism im nintendo and i can confirm)

Sometimes plays nintendogs with Mac, they like naming all the dogs dumb stuff and laughing at it for a hour.

The Lost Boys Head Canon: What They Are Like as Older Brothers

David:

*Y’know Roderick from “Diary of A Wimpy Kid”? Yeah, that’s David as a big brother. He would spend all of his time brooding around and terrorizing you

*He has his moments tho, like, he won’t ever let anyone pick on you, ever. For example, if a Surf Nazi ever tried something with you, you could expect to find their mutilated body out out on display for everyone to find

*He doesn’t really like to spend a lot of quality time with you, but he’ll always do little things for you, like getting your favorite snacks or picking out movies you like for movie nights

*If you ever bring it up, he will vandalize something and blame it on you so that you get in trouble with Max. David is such a shit, he probably has a binder filled with detailed plans on his to fuck up your day if you ever reveal to anyone that he actually loves you

Marko:

*He’s so cool, he’s definitely the older brother that you brag to your friends about and will invite to group hangouts. Your friends love him too bc he will help y’all get away with rebellious crap and adults wouldn’t be okay with

*If he ever catches you sneaking out or making out with someone, he’ll tease you about it for weeks but he’ll also cover for you so that no one ever finds out

*He’s also not afraid to let you know that you can always count on him and that he loves you, he’s not embarrassed about it or anything. His main priority as an older brother is that you know you can always count on him for anything and everything

*Even if he’s helping you do something that’s against the rules, you can always trust him to help you out if things go sideways and you need to bail. Marko will always have your back and do what’s best for you

Paul:

*A lot like Marko, he’s the fun-loving older brother that’s always down for some mischief. Unfortunately, it’s usually at your expense. Like, if he gets bored, he’ll start drama to get you in trouble, just for kicks. Bc he has nothing else to do

*He can also be pretty annoying around your friends. They all have crushes on him bc he flirts with them constantly. Paul doesn’t actually have a genuine interest in any of them, he just knows it annoys you.

*He’s a good brother tho, if you do him favors, he’ll help you get out of trouble with Max or give you all the cheat codes on how to sneak around and steal stuff from convenience stores

*You can have small sentimental moments with him too, especially one on one. He’s the older brother where you can just sit and watch a movie with him in silence and be totally at peace. But he’ll also have you cracking up like a choking seal in a split second, just depends on his mood

Dwayne:

*He’s a lot more like a father than an older brother. If you’ve forgotten something at home, he’ll drive his motorcycle to you and give your items to you while lecturing you on responsibility. It’s so annoying and embarrassing

*Dwayne has even been mistaken for your dad on numerous occasions and he almost never corrects anyone, you have to do it. He’ll just smile awkwardly and continue on like nothing happened

*Still, if you ever need someone to talk to or someone to give you advice, he’s always there, ready to talk or just to listen. If you’re feeling irrationally angry, he’s hyping you up and feeding your delusions (you all know you have those moments, don’t even lie)

*If you’re a girl, and you need menstrual products, he’s the first one up and out the door and will go out of his way to deliver whatever you need or want without hesitation. The others might balk at the question, but not Dwayne. He’s Mr. Dependable-with-a-bottomless-bag

Hi guys! This is my updated about me post since the old one was kinda cringe lol. So this one is now going to be the post that talks about me.

I am a very nostalgic person so if I come across content that I saw as a little kid, or a place that was a big part of my childhood then my mind tends to get flodded with memories about that thing or place. So you might start seeing some reblogs on this blog about things that I grew up with.

I really love pokemon generation 5, the games, the anime, and the manga. Even though as a little kid I grew up with Gen 3 for the games, and Gen 6, and Gen 1 for the anime, Gen 5 is my favorite one, and I am kind of obsessed with it!! Like I have so many headcannons for the characters and they are my hyperfixation for fanfiction. Even though most people didn't like the pokemon best wishes anime, I loved it when I watched it for the first time and I still love it. It is my comfort show and I am proud that it is.

I created this blog and joined the community because I didn't have anybody in real life that I could talk about my common interests with. I was heavily encouraged to find people in real life who had the same interests as me, but it was difficult since I am introverted and quiet around other people my age so when I tried to talk to them, they weren't interested in becoming friends. But I now have met very nice people on this site who could talk about Pokemon BW all day with me. So thank you very much everyone!
