Strawberry Shortcake DR AU!!!!!!
One of my personal favorites in my collection of AU's! After each character's name, their pet and their name will be listed, followed by their horse, cause I adore the concept that Strawberry Shortcake put forth as well as me being a horse girl,,, To make it a bit easier to get through, I'll be separating the cast into three groups, one for each mainline game, with Komaru included in the THH section!
I do also have a storyline planned out for a series of fics so if that's something ya'll would wanna see sooner rather than later, lemme know!
(if any of this is confusing af, please don't hesitate to ask me about it, I love these blorbos and the au's I make for them)

You Should Try Various Types Of Chocolate Cakes in Ludhiana
Most people succumb to the temptation of chocolate. In your location, it's not hard to find people who like chocolate. In case we're wrong, you also enjoy chocolate and constantly crave it. Additionally, we found a fantastic birthday cake for a friend's birthday celebration. You are the one who is reading our newest piece about chocolate treats. Learn more about chocolate cakes by exploring this page as a group. However, before we start our voyage of chocolate cake, allow me to share some information with you. Top recipes for chocolate cake are listed below: several types of chocolate cakes, including chocolate lava cake, chocolate raspberry cake, chocolate devil's food cake, and chocolate cheesecake.
These cakes are each different and have a rich, creamy chocolate coating. Buy chocolate cakes online with online cake delivery in ludhiana. To ensure that you have a delectable treat for all of life's special occasions.
It makes sense why chocolate cake is so beloved by so many people. What in this union of cake, chocolate, and traditional sweets could be disliked? You might be surprised to hear that chocolate cake comes in a wide variety of flavours, from rich truffle cakes to smooth Sachertortes. How often have you opted for chocolate desserts with sweltering dinners? There is still a large world of chocolate flavours and sensations to explore, even if you think you know everything there is to know about this legendary dessert.
Truffle Chocolate Cake
The chocolate truffle cake is the most well-liked chocolate dessert. It was specifically made of chocolate. With addition, the bread and dough are composed of chocolate, and the top is coated in creamy chocolate. The greatest choice is a chocolate truffle cake if you all want to consume chocolate. You'll keep eating more of it due to its creamy and silky texture. If you have more of it, you'll want more of it. Your hands and tongue will be cover in chocolate after you've eaten the cake and cherish every bite. The experience will always hold special meaning.
Black Forest Cake
The black forest cake is another popular cake. It combines the most popular tastes, chocolate and vanilla. Depending on your preferences, you can want a flavour that sweeps the ground out from under you or one that is simple yet delicious. The outcome of their combination will be that you will reach a completely new level. You will fall more and more in love with the cake whether you eat it alone or with a special someone. Particularly with a few chocolate sprinkles on top, it is a unique snack that is tough to imitate.
The cake of Belgium
Belgian chocolate is regard as one of the best in the world. The depth of flavour is what makes it so popular with people of all ages. Belgian chocolate cake is something that everyone, regardless of age, can find themselves eating. If you're arranging a big gathering of visitors, Belgian cake is the finest choice. It will undoubtedly please everyone. Anyone with a sweet tooth will find everything they eat after that to be sweeter than Belgian chocolate cake.
Dark Chocolate Cake
Molten chocolate cake is a well-liked confection that combines the flavours of a chocolate cake with a soufflé. The names chocolate cake, moelleux, and lava cake have all been used for it. The liquid chocolate centre of the dish gave the treat its name.
Chocolate Fudge Cake
A chocolate fudge cake has fudge, to put it simply. Given that only two ingredients are necessary for the category—chocolate and fudge—any restaurant, skilled confectioner, or even devoted home baker, can add their own flavour. A single sponge layer and a thin layer of icing are the only layers of one type of sponge cake near me, while multiple sponge layers are present in another type. In addition to the frosting between the layers, a topping of chocolate chips or fudge chunks can provide even more delectability.
Dark Chocolate Cake
If you want your cake to be more flavorful than overly sweet like most cakes are, pick a dark chocolate cake. Your craving for chocolate will be sate by this dish. After just one mouthful, you will feel as though you have ingested enough chocolate for yourself, yet you will still feel the urge to eat more. After learning about the five distinct types of chocolate cake and how to enjoy each one, carefully select the next cake based on what you want to eat and what your loved one will enjoy.
If any of your friends or family members reside in a city other than your own, let's say Durgapuri. After that, you can send them cake via an online cake delivery in Delhi or many other places. There are numerous websites where you can use this service.

Joaquin Phoenix Characters as Cupcakes
(Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters or images. This is just a fun listicle, not designed to offend anyone. As always, please feel free to leave comments and/or constructive criticism below. Thank you, and without any further ado, please enjoy!)
Characters in this List: Theodore, Arthur, Joker, Doug Holt, Doc Sportello, Freddie, Charlie, Johnny Cash, Max, Merrill, Abbé, Jimmy Emmett, and of course, Emperor Commodus.
Theodore Twombly from “Her”: Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting
Red is a color frequently worn by Phoenix’s character in this romantic science fiction film, and his operating system is red too. So naturally, his cupcakes would adopt his signature color. Plus, red velvet is a flavor popularly served on Valentine’s Day (not that it isn’t popular during the rest of the year), so it would be great for the loving, hopeful Theodore.
Arthur Fleck from “Joker”: Vanilla Funfetti Cupcakes
This is basically your typical yellow cake baked with brightly colored, edible decorations (known as sprinkles, jimmies, or hundreds-and-thousands). The frosting is standard vanilla and topped with even more sprinkles - hence it earns the name funfetti. (It’s like edible confetti - fun, right?)
They would certainly entertain the inner child in Arthur. The bright colors would excite him, and they’d remind him confetti at a child’s birthday party. He’d have so much fun decorating the cupcakes, too.
Joker from “Joker”: Banana Split Cupcakes
These cupcakes may look like yellow cake, but they are so much more. The banana flavor is a match for the one who certainly drives Gotham bananas with his chaotic plans and antics.
And just like how Joker may look like any other clown, these cupcakes are good at masquerading like an ice cream sundae. At first sight, you’d be totally thrown off.
Doug Holt from “Inventing the Abbotts”: Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes
Just like his character in “Inventing the Abbotts”, Doug Holt makes for a refreshing presence onscreen - he’s cute, genuine, and kind. (Just like a strawberry!) And for a film representing American in the 1950′s, what better dessert to mimic than the classic American summer treat?
Doc Sportello from “Inherent Vice”: Matcha Cupcakes with Black Sesame Topping and Mascarpone Cheese filling
I think of all of the members on this list, Doc Sportello would be one most excited to try new flavors. The cool yet earthy green tea infusion in this cupcake would totally complement the buttery melt-in-your-mouth feel of the mascarpone cheese. And the sesame seeds would add a nice texture difference with a unique flavor. Certainly, it would appeal to the all-natural, organic preferences Doc has.
Freddie Quell from “The Master”: Coconut Rum Cupcakes
As someone who likes mixing concoctions to form alcoholic “cocktails”, Freddie would certainly like his cupcake to bring a little buzz. The coconut flavor would be somewhat nutty but also slightly sweet. And it might be great for Freddie, who’s been overseas during his time in the armed forces.
Charlie Sisters from “The Sisters Brothers”: Maple Bourbon-Infused Cupcakes with Maple Frosting and Bacon Bits.
Just like Charlie himself, this cupcake is a little salty on the outside, with the bacon crumble topping, but also somewhat sweet with the maple syrup. Also, maple syrup is known to be quite sticky - just like many of the situations Charlie gets himself into. (I can imagine he wouldn’t complain with all the bourbon in this cupcake too)
Johnny Cash from “Walk the Line”: Pineapple Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting.
My original idea was to choose a Black Velvet cupcake with cherry filling for the Man in Black, but this pineapple cupcake pays tribute to one of his favorite dishes (as told by his son John Carter Cash) - pineapple pie. It was made with a standard dough-based pie crust and a pineapple and cream cheese filling, hence the cream cheese frosting. Although, to add a Southern touch to this, these cupcakes could also be served with a candied pecan crumble on top.
Max California from “8 MM” : Devil’s Food Cake Cupcake with a Boozy Cherry Filling
As Max himself says, “If you dance with the devil, the devil don't change. The devil changes you.” So to pay homage to his quote, obviously his cupcake would be the Devil’s Food cake (it’s just a really moist chocolate flavor). The filling would be made with chopped cherries immersed in sweet vermouth (wine spiked with brandy), and the cupcake would be topped with whipped cream and chocolate chips.
Also, is it just me or would Max totally make a joke about “popping the cherry” every time he eats these?
Merrill Hess from “Signs”: Chocolate M&M Cupcakes with a Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Filling
These cupcakes would certainly be great for Merrill - he’d appear to be a guy’s guy on the outside, but on the inside he’s not afraid to do seemingly nutty things (wearing tin-foil on his head?) and is extremely sweet with kids (hence the marshmallows). Also, the M&M’s add color to the mainly uniform cupcake, just like Merrill’s expressions add color to this film.
Given the amount of sugar (and artificial coloring), they were probably made for either Bo’s or Morgan’s birthdays and Uncle Merrill just happened to like them more than the kids did. His favorite part is pulling these cupcakes apart and watching the gooey peanut butter and marshmallow filling spill.
Abbe de Coulmier from “Quills”: Lavender Vanilla Sponge Cupcakes with a Lemon Elderflower Frosting.
Abbé de Coulmier is an incredibly soft and kind person - it only makes sense his cupcake would be just as fluffy as him. The infusion of lavender in the vanilla sponge would delight him, and he might have one of these with a cup of tea in the afternoon. Though, he’d certainly be mindful of his consumption, remembering perfectly well that gluttony was one of the Seven Deadly Sins.
Most times, he’d desire for the frosting to be removed and instead ask for powdered sugar to be put instead. (The powdered sugar was a compromise after being annoyed by the chef. He was not happy when the chef kept shouting about a “naked cupcake”.) Although, perhaps on special occassions, the frosting would stay and he’d relish the light, citrus-floral flavor.
Jimmy Emmett from “To Die For”: Snickers Cupcakes
Based off of the popular candy bar, Snickers cupakes are usually made with a chocolate cupcake, peanut butter frosting, and a rich caramel sauce with chopped candy bars as garnish.
They’re perfect for Jimmy, who certainly liked candy bars and can usually be found snickering while he’s zoned out in his own world.
Emperor Lucius Aelius Aurelius Commodus from “Gladiator”
As always, I saved the best for last, and since I couldn’t decide on simply one cupcake I came up with three different ones for our Emperor.
(Impartiality? I don’t know her.)
Choice 1) A Red Wine Dark Chocolate Cupcake with Raspberry Amaretto Frosting and Raspberry Drizzle (top left)
Emperor Commodus likes to go all out when throwing lavish games or hosting extravagant parties. So this cupcake is a perfect match, with the rich flavors of red wine, brandy (from the amaretto), raspberry, and dark chocolate all coming together in a decadent ensemble.
Also, the raspberry drizzle totally looks like blood spilling in the Colosseum.
Choice 2) A Honey Cake with Whiskey Frosting and a Whiskey-Infused Honey Drizzle (top right)
Even though whiskey is definitely not a liquor I’d associate with Emperor Commodus, the cupcake certainly serves as a break from all the chocolate. (Do you think he’d even like chocolate? Comment below, please!)
The main reason this cupcake is here is because honey cakes were around during the Roman Empire. Also, the drizzle...can you imagine Emperor Commodus repeatedly spilling some of the alcohol-infused honey on his cheeks and asking his servant/concubine to lick it up for him? Or making his concubine suck the sticky honey from his fingers?
Choice 3) A Chocolate Hazelnut Fererro Rocher Cupcake (bottom)
This cupcake is mainly here because the golden wrapper totally suits the opulence of a Roman emperor. Also, in one of my previous listicles I paired Emperor Commodus with chocolate hazelnut gelato - thought I’d continue the trend. Plus, the smoothness of the hazelnut perfectly represents the silky tone of Commodus’s voice.

Season of the Witch | Michael Langdon
chapter nine: The Seven Wonders
masterlist
pairing: Michael Langdon x witch!reader
warnings: language, angst, violence, graphic descriptions, adult content, deception, toxic relationships, abuse, death, witchcraft, satanism and all that other good ahs stuff
notes: updated this sooner than I expected oops. This chapter is also much lengthier than usual
“Darling, what ever are you doing?” Myrtle asks as she barges into y/n’s room announced. The startled witch fumbles the tiny glass vile in her hands before quickly shutting it away in her jewelry box.
“Nothing!” She splutters, eyes wide and heart beating rapidly like a culprit caught on the scene. Myrtle simply sighs and ignores y/n’s erratic behavior.
“Cordelia requests that you stop by her quarters immediately to discuss important matters.”
“Yes Miss Myrtle,” y/n nods, then hesitates. “Miss Myrtle... have you ever been in love with someone that you could never have?”
“Oh, darling, of course not. I can have any man I want,” Myrtle smiles humbly, though she is anything but.
“Yes but... well, have you ever had to choose between the Coven and-“
“A man? No,” Myrtle scoffs. “The Coven comes first. Always. Every witch knows this, and I’d hope you know it.”
“I do-“
“Because you’re a very promising witch, one of the most talented girls I’ve ever seen. And I’d hate for you to throw that all away for a pair of green eyes.”
“His eyes are blue-“ y/n corrects, not yet realizing her slip up until it’s much too late.
“So my suspicions were correct,” Myrtle sighs, sitting down on the edge of y/n’s bed and patting the spot beside her. The young witch wordlessly moves beside Myrtle, but chooses to instead curl up into a ball and rest her head against the woman’s lap, much like she would do as a child. “I’ve felt the conflict in you, my dear. Felt your hesitation, felt the way your heart seems to skip a beat when that boy is near. You’re in love.”
“I concocted a potion,” y/n murmurs, eyes closing shut as Myrtle soothingly strokes her hair. “A Constriction spell. His powers will weaken, he’ll feel sick, any magic will be too much for him. He won’t pass the test.”
“My poor child,” she coos, watching y/n’s tears silently slide down her cheeks and onto the smooth fabric of Myrtle’s dress. “I’m sorry your first love has brought you so much heartache.”
“I can find someone else,” y/n says, looking up at Myrtle, “but I can’t find another coven.”
Myrtle smiles, cards her fingers through the young witch’s hair, and hums a gentle tune to soothe her heart.
“Are you going to tell my mother?” Y/N asks.
“Y/N/N, I wouldn’t tell her even if it meant I could never wear another Dolce and Gabbana dress ever again.”
~~~
“You asked to see me?”
“Yes, come in,” Cordelia smiles, watching her daughter enter and gently shut the bedroom door behind her. “Sit down.”
Y/N does as she’s told, sitting in front of her weakened mother. She looks tired, frail, and serves as a reminder of why giving Michael the potion is so important.
“How are you feeling?” Y/N asks gently, grabbing hold of Cordelia’s hand in search of comfort in knowing her mother is still here, still alive. Michael’s voice rings in her head, and she shivers.
Cordelia Goode will be nothing but a pile of ash.
“About the same,” Cordelia smiles gently, moving a piece of hair away from y/n’s face. “But it won’t be that way for much longer. Michael’s test is approaching, and when he rises, I will fall.”
“Mom, don’t say that-“ she begins to protest, but Cordelia simply shakes her head.
“I know it isn’t what you wish to hear but it’s the truth. If not Michael then someone else. I am fading, and I need you to be ready for when I’m gone.”
“How can you be so calm?!” Y/N cries, tears welling up quickly. “You’re dying! And instead of trying to fight back, instead of trying to live you’re giving up!”
“Y/N,” Cordelia says sternly, and she settles. “We can’t defy the laws of the coven. My mother faded so I could rise, and now I must do the same. It’s law. But you won’t be alone, my love. You’ll have your sisters, you’ll have Myrtle. You’ll have Michael.”
“But I want you,” y/n sniffles, and falls into Cordelia’s arms as she begins to sob. “You’re the reason I have this coven in the first place.”
“And you’ll be the reason this coven continues to grow and thrive. I’ll be gone, but you, y/n, will still be here to help guide your sisters.”
“I’ll miss you,” she whispers shakily, clinging tightly to her mother.
“I’ll be with you,” Cordelia whispers into her hair, “always.”
~~~
“Michael?” Her voice calls from outside of his bedroom door, and he smirks.
“Come in,” he calls innocently, perfectly playing the part of the good little warlock she thinks he is. He doesn’t bother turning around as the door opens and she enters, too busy pretending to adjust the collar of his uniform.
“Hi,” y/n calls shyly, shutting the door gently behind her. “I left Binx outside. I know you don’t exactly enjoy his presence, and I wouldn’t want to throw you off in any way on such an important day.”
“You’re too kind,” Michael smiles, finally turning to face the witch. In her trembling hands rests a small slice of cake, wrapped neatly in cellophane. “What’s this?”
“An apology,” y/n smiles sheepishly, “and a good luck gift for your test. I baked it myself.”
The cake is chocolate devil’s food cake coated in purple frosting and dusted with glittered black sprinkles. He can smell the sweetness of it, can taste the chocolate on his tongue, taste the potion mixed into the once white frosting.
He’d found the remnants of her little concoction left behind in her haste and easily uncovered its purpose. The little bitch was trying to poison him, and it excited Michael, knowing there was a darkness to her, a motive, a selfishness buried underneath the innocent persona she showed off to the world. He saw her slip up as an amateur move, but viewed the attempt as something to play with. Once Michael claimed his title as the alpha he’d easily be able to cage her in his grasp. And he’d suffocate her, remold and reshape her, redesign her into his perfect match: a woman both evil and sinister. And when that was done? Well, there’d be no stopping him then. A powerful man with an almost equally powerful woman by his side? They’d reign hellfire together, and that was the plan, wasn’t it?
“Oh, y/n, you shouldn’t have,” Michael coos, taking the offering with one hand and grabbing hold of her own with the other. “You didn’t need to make a cake for me to forgive you, silly.”
“I know,” she smiles nervously, hands clammy in his own as she delivers the undeserved apology. “But I’d like to be in good company with our new supreme.”
The two are playing a game of cat and mouse, tip toeing around one another as they test the waters, test their limits. Miss Mouse thinks she’s in charge, that she’s the cat waiting to pounce on her prey. If only Miss Mouse could see she’s dangerously close to the cat’s snapping jaws.
“I have to pass the test first,” Michael sighs, a hint of false insecurity laced in his voice. Miss Mouse takes the bait.
“You will,” she affirms. “Eat the cake. I added an incantation to it as it baked. For good luck.”
“If you insist,” Michael says, carefully removing the cellophane before picking up the slice with his bare hand and taking a generous bite. Y/N licks her lips in anticipation, watching him devour her craft. Crumbs fall with each bite and frosting stains the corners of his mouth, but Michael slowly runs his tongue along his lips and savors every bite.
“You’re very talented,” he says, and she smiles absently.
“Oh, it was nothing,” she murmurs, wringing her hands together as he finishes the last of it.
~~~
“Guided by ancient tradition witches survive only if united under a strong, singular authority. Every generation needs its leader, The Supreme. No simple test could ever determine the sovereign among us. We rely on seven.”
“The ‘Seven Wonders.’ Seven Acts of magic so advanced each pushes the boundaries of craft into art.”
Telekinesis
Y/N does not feel an ounce of worry in her bones as Michael summons the horse whip. Telekinesis is an easy feat, achieved by any low leveled witch or warlock. She’d mastered the ability at only three months, reaching for dropped toys and bottles. Constriction spell or not, such a power was achievable. So when Michael sent an innocent smile her way y/n had no trouble returning it, although she didn’t miss the way Myrtle glanced disapprovingly at the two.
Concilium
Her stomach churns slightly, but y/n does not yet sink into her worry as she watches Zoe and Madison waltz. He smiles, whip keeping time as he guides their fluid movements. It’s almost beautiful, their dance, but it makes y/n nervous. The potion should be in effect by now, yet he does not show any signs of struggle or difficulty. The smugness on his face shows the exact opposite in fact, and as she watches her sisters waltz her bottom lip begins to bleed, tired from being worried between her teeth.
Transmutation
Y/N spots him hiding behind the stalks of wheat easily, and silently approaches from the rear. The hay doesn’t crunch underneath her feet, nor do her bracelets clink or jingle as she reaches out to tap his shoulder. But with a puff of smoke he’s gone, and she jumps at the light pat on her shoulder. He stands behind her now, beaming like a child would to their mother for a deed well done. Y/N can only muster a weak smile in return, swallowing nervously as the taste of defeat begins to coat her tastebuds. Why isn’t it working?!
Divination
Y/N watches from the sidelines, leaning against one of the wooden beams holding the barn together. Michael approaches her slowly, lifts her off the ground with the flick of his wrist, retrieves the pocket watch from underneath her, then gently sets her back down with a wink. God damn show off.
Pyrokinesis
Michael only grows stronger with each test, and as he slits his open palm y/n turns away in disgust. She is not repulsed by the blood nor at the boy himself, but at her failure. She did everything she was supposed to do, everything the spell book said to. Yet Michael continued to pass each test with flying colors, and y/n only seemed to grow sicker while her mother grew weaker. She was failing.
Vitalum Vitalis
Y/N had found the same rat she’d created during her first in depth encounter with Michael. The poor thing had died out in the cold, pathetically covered by the hay. Her caring hands delicately rest the creature in Michael’s open palms, and she ignores his piercing gaze as he observes her.
She watches as his plush lips mold into an o shape, gently blowing life into the lifeless creature. It only takes seconds before the animal is alive and scrambling out of his grasp. Y/N watches horrified as Binx chases after the rodent, and hits the ground just before her feline sinks his teeth into the rat’s neck.
Descensum
Y/N sits in a wooden chair and watches Michael’s preparation for his descent into hell. She’d been out for five minutes, and it would’ve been longer if not for Michael using his magic to wake her.
She’s scared now. The potion was meant to stop him early on in the game, and if it decides to work now he’ll be gone forever. And it will be her fault.
He approaches her carefully, a warm hand pressing gently against her cool cheek. The single tear that drops from her eye tickles his fingers. Y/N isn’t sure who the tear is for: Cordelia, Michael, herself, or maybe all three.
“Wish me luck,” he smiles smugly, leaning down and pressing a kiss to her forehead.
“Oh, get on with it already,” Myrtle scoffs, and Michael only smirks before taking his spot on the ground.
“Good luck,” y/n whispers, watching as his blue eyes shut close and his soul descends into hell, descends back home.
The Red Reaper
STORY DESCRIPTION: A grim reaper goes on a rather interesting adventure that changes her unlife in this alternate take on different fairy tales.
FULL STORY BELOW:
It was a late afternoon in the forests. The sky was pink, and ready to go deep blue in a rather short time. In the forests, a grim reaper was making her way through. Her cloak was a deep ruby red, matching the pupil-like lights in her eye sockets. Her hair was made of black shadow and was flowing smoothly, like the ocean on the calmest days. She held her scythe of silver in one hand, and a bag of food and supplies in the other, as while grim reapers couldn’t die from starvation, they could still get hungry. The Red Reaper, as she was called, was on her way to reap the soul of a woman whose time was near up, like usually. Little did she know that this day could change her unlife.
The Red Reaper smiled as she looked at a nearby stream, walking by its side. While she was a worker of death, she got along with wildlife and nature quite well, like most grim reapers did. After all, death was a natural thing. Butterflies welcomely fluttered by her before going on her way, making her laugh a little. The reaper then noticed a bridge going across the stream. Realizing it was the next path to her destination, she decided to go across it. But as she took her first step onto the bridge, she noticed a rather large creature coming from under and climbing on.
It looked vaguely reptilian, mostly resembling an alligator, with greyish green scales. It had a yellow and green mane that was musty and swampy, which also covered the creature’s eyes and ran down its back right to its tail, while spikes protruded. Its posture, while human like, was also hunched over. The claws on both its hands and feet were black and sharp. The teeth on its open and hungry snout were sharp and yellow. Apparently, what lived under the bridge was that of a troll.
“Hey now, I don’t mean any trouble.”
The Reaper’s stern statement fell deaf on the troll’s non-existent ears, in which it just snarled back. Loudly. However, the Red Reaper remained unmoved. She weld her scythe, pointing right at the troll, then told it rather coldly.
“You seem to be near the end of a troll’s lifespan. I should know because I’m a grim reaper.”
The troll didn’t say anything. It just closed its mouth and simply climbed down the bridge, going back under. The Reaper smiled as she crossed through. She loved doing that. As she got back on track, the Reaper noticed a white wolf passing by. The wolf then looked at the Reaper, her staring back.
“Do not mind me, just on my way to claim a well-aged soul.”
The Reaper swore she saw the wolf raise its head a little before it continued on its way. She shrugged it off and continued on hers. It was now completely dark, and the Red Reaper was still in the forest. It was calm and serene. Well, it was until the Reaper noticed a young woman with messy blond hair, dressed in gold jewelry on her neck and wrists, looking and shuffling in what looked like a stolen handbag right next to what seemed to be a swan-girl, presumably the actual owner of the bag in a fetal position and covered in slight bruises. Red went over to the robber and aimed her scythe at her, the blonde’s eyes going wide as the blade was right near her face.
“And what exactly is going on here?!”
“Whoa, hey! We don’t need to get so fired up! I was just lookin’ in my bag, ya know! This is my bag!”
“Oh really, then why’s that woman bruised and on the ground?”
“Okay, ya got me. Here’s your dumb items back, I’m still taking the purse though, it’s just right for me!”
“Come back here!” the Reaper screamed in fury, about to charge at the fleeing thief.
“Just let her go, I don’t really deserve anything to hold my stuff anyway…” The bruised swan murmured, getting up and taking her supplies with just her hands. “Don’t say that! If you don’t mind me asking, why exactly are you saying cruel things about yourself?” the Reaper asked, tending to the bird-woman’s wounds.
The swan sighed, “I’ve been living a hard life. I was adopted and raised in the city of ducks, my classmates and even some of my teachers teasing me and berating me not only because I barely looked like the rest of my adoptive family, but also because of my inability to comprehend the city environment, saying I was the ‘ugly one’. Even my siblings would sometimes give me crap. The only one who actually gave me comfort was my mother. When my 18th birthday passed, recently, I decided to move into a calmer area, where there aren’t much people. However, obviously the way there hasn’t been kind to me… I probably shouldn’t even have this stuff… what if they’re right? What if I am the ugly one, and will forever be that?”
The swan was silently in tears at that point, the Reaper’s heart sinking. Looking in her bag, she found a spare cloth bag. It was in case her other one got too full, but she decided to give it to the girl, whose eyes lit up.
“You are not ugly. Real beauty should depend on kindness, redemption, and other nice stuff. Those people who are mean to you? They’re the real ugly ones. So here, put your stuff in this, and take the thing with you. And also? Here’s something else.”
At that moment, the Reaper also handed the swan a map. Specifically, one that had a way to the calmer areas. The Red Reaper was using it to go on her way to her destination, but she was generous enough to give the girl her map as well. Tears of joy went down the girl’s eyes as she gently took the map and bag.
“Thank you… so much!”
The girl gave the Reaper a warm hug before going off. The Reaper smiled as the swan went on her way, a single tear coming out of her socket.
“It was my pleasure…”
The Red Reaper continued on her way to find the elderly soul. Because of her map being handed to someone else, she decided to use her memory and brain for the rest of her journey, venturing on into the forest. She continued on her way until three bear-people came by, all presumably siblings. They looked very upset, and the smallest bear went up to the Reaper and spoke,
“We’re tracking down a criminal. In her mid-20’s, blonde hair, infamous vandal, also a thief. Calls herself ‘The Gold Locks’. We’re hunting her down because we are detectives, and when she robbed our place recently, we decided that was the last straw. Have you had any encounter with her at all?”
The Reaper knew exactly what they were talking about. Thanks to her great memory, she was able to track down where the criminal went. She nodded, and pointed to her right. The smallest bear nodded their head, thanked the Reaper, and went on their way, the other two following them. Smiling, the Red Reaper finally went on her way. However, all this series of good deeds was making her kind of tired, so the elderly soul would have to wait a little while longer. Thankfully, souls didn’t really have specific due dates, so the Reaper had plenty of time. She found a nearby tree and rested aside it, enjoying her meal of cooked beef before finally drifting off to sleep.
The Red Reaper woke up to the light blue sky. Getting up and smiling, she picked up her scythe and basket and decided to continue on her way. Walking through the forest once more, she decided to have a bit of breakfast before noticing that her basket was empty.
“Great. I knew I should have packed more food other than that small pack of beef.”
She sighed and decided to kill two birds with one stone and get something to eat while she was on her way. The Reaper swore she saw what looked like the same wolf from yesterday pass by, it it was too fast for her to entirely make sure. However, she immediately put that aside from her when she sensed a smell of all sorts of sweet-tasting food items. Cake, gingerbread, frosting, peppermint, rock candy, cotton candy, all sorts of delicious stuff. The Red Reaper had to investigate. And judging from the smell, maybe also get a sweet snack as well?
As the Reaper followed the scent, she could feel her mind drowning in the thoughts of all sorts of delicious stuff. Yep, now she was really getting hungry. Then she found the source. A house resembling, and undoubtedly made of, a large triple layer devil’s food cake covered in chocolate frosting, sprinkles, and different forms of candy. The Reaper drooled at the sight of the place, and went near. She grabbed a handful of the cake-house and took a bite. It truly was delicious! She took two more handfuls, stuffing her face until she heard the door open and slithering.
“And thus, another hungry one has entered my area…”
The Red Reaper realized what she just did and turned to see a rather beautiful female humanoid with the face and tail of a snake. The tail was obviously in the place of legs. The snake woman’s hair was pink, blue, and fluffy like cotton candy. Her scales were white with red stripes, resembling that of a candy cane. Her eyes were welcoming and deep blue, shining like jelly beans. Before the Reaper could apologize, the snake-woman smiled, ensuring that the Reaper was okay with her following words.
“Welcome! Don’t worry about the house, that happens often. You seem pretty hungry, why don’t you come in? I have more where that came from.”
Realizing she was safe, the Red Reaper followed the snake-girl into the cake-house. She sat down in a chair next to a table as the snake started making some delicious meals. The Reaper was handed several good stuff like cupcakes, complete with sprinkles and cherries on top, and milkshakes. A grim reaper digested food in a shadowy pouch on the belly area, resembling that of a stomach, in which any food that goes in just slowly disappears, yet a reaper is still satisfied. The Reaper ate as much as she could until she was finally full, and decided to accept some sweets for the rest of her trip. As she made her way out, she heard the snake say something rather interesting. “Usually, I just fatten my guests up so I can have my own snack, I don’t care that I have all these sweets, but since you’re a ‘living’ skeleton, I decided to let you go.”
The Reaper just silently stared at the snake. The snake immediately realized what she just said.
“...and I probably shouldn't have said that out loud…”
That day the Red Reaper decided to claim an extra soul.
And that extra soul’s body was just as sweet as the rest of her breakfast.
So after that, the Red Reaper decided not to be distracted anymore and finally completely focus on her main task: claiming an elderly soul. Once again, she saw what she was sure was the white wolf from earlier pass by, but once again it was too fast for her to completely tell. Coincidentally, the Reaper managed to finally arrive at her destination. It was a small house, nothing more, nothing less. The Reaper knocked on the door.
“Come in…” She heard.
The Red Reaper opened the door. She saw an elderly woman with long white hair sitting on her chair, smiling calmly. This woman seemed strangely confident. The Reaper sensed that there was something a bit off about her, but decided to just continue on.
“Dear elder, do you know what I’m here for?”
“Probably. Lemme think…”
“Your soul. I’m here because your soul has aged.”
“Oh, right, right! That...”
The Red Reaper noticed that the woman was slowly changing shape, her green eyes glowing and shifting.
“What unique eyes you have…”
“Oh! All the better to see with!”
The woman’s ears seemed to have grown pointed and larger as well…
“Wh… What big ears you have,”
“All the better to hear with.” The old woman responded as her snout was becoming longer and canine.
“What big nose you have..”
“The better to smell you with!” The woman smiled, showing her now sharp teeth.
Smell?! The Reaper sighed, giving off one final comment on the woman’s ever-so changing shape, upon realizing what she was dealing with.
“What sharp teeth and claws you have…”
The woman grinned as she got on all fours and took a completely wolf-like shape, growing hair all over and a long tail. Looking at the Red Reaper, she sneered,
“The better to take you down with.”
The Reaper let out a long breath and weld her scythe, realizing that not only was the woman the white wolf she encountered earlier, but also a werewolf. While the Red Reaper never reaped a werewolf’s soul before, she decided to remain confident in this. The werewolf lunged at the Reaper, biting her deep into her arm. The Reaper, while in slight pain, remained unfazed otherwise, and knocked her back, preparing to use her scythe. The wolf dodged the scythe attack, throwing a vase onto the Reaper, who parried it with her scythe, knocking onto the werewolf.
The werewolf was a bit dizzy, but got up anyway and jumped onto the Reaper once more. However, the Red Reaper just stook her scythe out, the werewolf accidentally sliding onto it, only slightly cutting her, but the scythe still knocked her dead; so once she fell, she didn’t get up. The Reaper went up to the werewolf’s corpse, the werewolf’s spirit entering out of the cut with a defeated expression on her face.
“You win…”
“Never try out matching a grim reaper.”
So the Red Reaper and the werewolf spirit entered out of the small house, walking through the forests. The Reaper smiled as she walked with the spirit, seeing many encounters as results of stuff she did. She saw animals, creatures and humans alike helping themselves with the now abandoned cake-house. She found the three bears taking the Gold Locks into their truck, presumably to send her to court and most likely prison. She smiled and waved at the swan-girl sitting in the porch of a calm house she recently moved in, the swan happily waving back. And she crossed the bridge, where the troll, who noticed her come by, stayed under.
The Red Reaper and the spirit finally arrived in the underworld, which was not as bad as expected. People who behaved well or redeemed themselves had the better treatment, while the worst people got, well, the worst. The werewolf and the Reaper made up and the werewolf had a great time there. The candy snake was also there, having a not-so great time. The Red Reaper, meanwhile, noticed that the werewolf’s bite from earlier had a strange effect on her.
The Red Reaper’s skull formed a long snout.
Her teeth turned into fangs.
Her fingers became claw like.
She had now grown a long tail.
Her shadow-hair had also formed wolf like ears.
She had become a werewolf herself.
While surprised at first, the Red Reaper ultimately found this awesome, as did her co-workers! After all, a werewolf grim reaper was actually pretty rare. And of course, they congratulated her on the stuff she’s done on that day.
The day changed her unlife, and it was the best ever.
Hey! So I watch a lot of cupcake wars and there was this game on dolldivine.com so I made sanders sides cupcakes. Of course I cant do them in real life cause I burn everything I bake. BUT MAYBE THIS MIGHT GIVE BAKERS IDEAS. (Note: these are just ideas man. You can do whatever you want. Im also using this game to show my idea cause I also cant draw food too well)
First is the Thomas Cupcake! Its a milk chocolate cake with rainbow buttercream, chocolate pocky (cause there is never too much chocolate) and star sprinkles. Cause y’know..he’s our shining star!
Second is the “Too Cool for School” cupcake AKA Logan. Its a normal white cake with a black butter cream, blueberries and star sprinkles. There’s also mint cause Logan tends to be chill...most of the time. It probably has maybe some Crofters Jam inside to..but that’s a secret.
Third is the “Patty-Cake” AKA Patton. Its a classic marble cake with cream cheese frosting, white chocolate cat ears, heart sprinkles and white fondant angel wings. It also has a drizzle of caramel. Salted caramel. Its probably really rich and sweet, just like Patton’s personality.
Fourth is the “Lips Red as the Rose” cupcake AKA Roman. It’s a red velvet cake with a red cream cheese frosting, vanilla pocky, edible gold dust and it’s topped with a fondant crown. It has a drizzle of butterscotch syrup on it to top it off. We can have only the best for the prince after all.
Lastly is the “Emo Nightmare” cupcake AKA Virgil. Its a devil’s food cake with a purple whip cream frosting, dark chocolate devil horns and edible skeleton candies. It’s comfort food at it’s finest. Something good old Panic! at the Everywhere (sorry dude!) would really love.
Now im hungry....Oh well!
How to Make a Cake
Many of our best cake recipes start with the same method: beating butter or shortening with sugar until it's fluffy. These cakes are sometimes called creamed cakes because the fat and sugar are creamed together. We'll teach you how to make the best creamed layer cake ever. (Other cakes, like angel food and pound cake, use different methods.) Step 1: Choose a Recipe The first step to baking a gorgeous, mouthwatering cake is choosing a recipe to get you started. You can keep it simple with a classic vanilla cake recipe or a yellow cake with chocolate frosting, or you can choose a slightly showier recipe, like a chocolaty devil's food cake or a luscious red velvet cake recipe. If you're not a fan of frosting, try a German chocolate cake. We also a have a few birthday cake recipes you can make for a party. The possibilities are almost endless, but avoid angel food, pound cakes, and sponge cakes because they require a different method. Step 2: Choose the Right Baking Pans Sturdy, single-wall aluminum pans, with or without nonstick coating, are great cake pans. Here are other points to keep in mind: • Dark or Shiny? We prefer shiny pans for achieving a golden appearance. If you use a dark or dull-finish pan, reduce the oven temperature by 25°F and check doneness 3 to 5 minutes early to prevent overbrowning. • Sizes and Shapes. Many recipes call for either 8x1½-inch or 9x1½-inch round pans. they are interchangeable, but cakes baked in 8-inch pans generally require 5 to 10 minutes longer in the oven. Square and round pans could also be used as long as they're the size called for in the recipe. Step 3: Allow Ingredients to Reach Room Temperature Many recipes require some ingredients, such as eggs and butter, to stand at room temperature for a specified time. This is because room-temp butter blends more easily with other ingredients and room-temp eggs result in higher cake volume. (For food safety reasons, don't leave the eggs at room temperature for more time than specified in the recipe.) Tip: Never use melted butter when softened butter is called for. It will ruin the cake texture. Step 4: Prep the Pans Nobody wants their cake to stick to the pan, so it's important to prep your pans before pouring in the batter. With the exception of angel food and chiffon cakes, most recipes call for greasing or lining the pan before baking. Depending on your recipe, here's how to do it: If your recipe calls for greasing and flouring the pan, use a paper towel or pastry brush to evenly spread shortening or butter on the bottom, corners, and 1 inch up the sides of the pan. (Or spray nonstick cooking spray.) Sprinkle a little flour into the pan; tap the pan so the flour covers all greased surfaces. Tap out any extra flour into the sink. If a recipe calls for lining the pan with waxed or parchment paper, place the pan on the paper and trace around its base with a pencil. Cut just inside the traced line; line the bottom of a lightly greased pan with the paper, smoothing any wrinkles or bubbles. Unless otherwise specified, grease and flour the lined pan, too. Tip: For chocolate cakes, use cocoa powder instead of flour to coat the pan. Cocoa powder prevents sticking and enhances the cake's flavor, and traces of it won't be obvious after the cake is turned out of the pan. Step 5: Preheat the Oven When a cake bakes too quickly it can develop tunnels and cracks, too slowly and it can be coarse. Let your oven preheat for at least 10 minutes, and use an oven thermometer to make sure it reaches the proper temperature. Remember, if you're using dark cake pans, you'll want to reduce the oven temperature called for in your recipe by 25°F. Step 6: Stir Together Dry Ingredients Dry ingredients usually include flour, baking powder and/or baking soda, and salt. Rather than adding each dry ingredient individually to the batter, mix them together in a bowl beforehand. That way you know that the ingredients are equally distributed throughout the batter. Step 7: Combine the butter and sugar Step 7: Combine the Butter and Sugar Wondering how to make a cake with light, tender texture? A crucial step is to make sure the butter (or shortening, if specified in the recipe) and the sugar are perfectly combined. Here's how: Using an electric mixer on medium to high speed, beat the butter for 30 seconds. Generally, a stand mixer requires a medium speed for this step and a hand mixer requires a higher speed. Add the sugar in small amounts, about ¼ cup at a time, beating on medium. Scrape the sides of the bowl as needed. Adding the sugar little by little incorporates more air into the mixture. Beat the mixture on medium speed until it is combined and has a light, fluffy texture. (This will probably take 3 to 5 minutes. Don'tcheat on your timing.) Scrape the bowl occasionally while beating. Tiny bubbles will be created as the butter and sugar are combined, which will give your cake that dreamy, light, fluffy texture. Step 8: Add Eggs One at a Time Break one egg into a custard cup. (This way if you get shell fragments, you can easily fish them out of the cup rather than try to get them out of the batter.) Add the egg to the butter-sugar mixture and beat well. Repeat with the remaining eggs. Step 9: Alternate Adding Dry and Wet Ingredients Alternate between adding some of the flour mixture and some of the milk (or other liquid specified in the recipe) to the butter-egg-sugar mixture, beating on low speed after each addition until combined. Step 1: Choose a Recipe The first step to baking a stunning , mouthwatering cake is selecting a recipe to urge you started. you'll keep it simple with a classic vanilla cake recipe or a yellow cake with chocolate frosting, otherwise you can choose a rather showier recipe, sort of a chocolaty devil's food cake cake or a luscious red velvet cake recipe. If you are not a lover of frosting, try a German cake . We also a have a couple of cake recipes you'll bring a celebration . the chances are almost endless, but avoid angel food, pound cakes, and sponge cakes because they require a special method.
Step 2: Choose the proper Baking Pans Sturdy, single-wall aluminum pans, with or without nonstick coating, are great cake pans. Here are other points to stay in mind:
• Dark or Shiny? We prefer shiny pans for achieving a golden appearance. If you employ a dark or dull-finish pan, reduce the oven temperature by 25°F and check doneness 3 to five minutes early to stop overbrowning.
• Sizes and Shapes. Many recipes involve either 8x1½-inch or 9x1½-inch round pans. they're interchangeable, but cakes baked in 8-inch pans generally require 5 to 10 minutes longer within the oven. Square and round pans could even be used as long as they're the dimensions involved within the recipe.
Step 3: Allow Ingredients to succeed in temperature Many recipes require some ingredients, like eggs and butter, to face at temperature for a specified time. this is often because room-temp butter blends more easily with other ingredients and room-temp eggs end in higher cake volume. (For food safety reasons, don't leave the eggs at temperature for longer than laid out in the recipe.)
Tip: Never use melted butter when softened butter is named for. it'll ruin the cake texture.
Greasing cake pan
Step 4: Prep the Pans Nobody wants their cake to stay to the pan, so it is vital to prep your pans before pouring within the batter. With the exception of angel food and chiffon cakes, most recipes involve greasing or lining the pan before baking. counting on your recipe, here's the way to do it:
If your recipe involves greasing and flouring the pan, use a towel or pastry brush to evenly spread shortening or butter on rock bottom , corners, and 1 inch up the edges of the pan. (Or spray nonstick cooking spray.) Sprinkle a touch flour into the pan; tap the pan therefore the flour covers all greased surfaces. beat out any extra flour into the sink.
If a recipe involves lining the pan with waxed or parchment paper, place the pan on the paper and trace around its base with a pencil. Cut just inside the traced line; line rock bottom of a lightly greased pan with the paper, smoothing any wrinkles or bubbles. Unless otherwise specified, grease and flour the lined pan, too.
Tip: For chocolate cakes, use chocolate rather than flour to coat the pan. chocolate prevents sticking and enhances the cake's flavor, and traces of it won't be obvious after the cake is clothed of the pan.
Step 5: Preheat the Oven When a cake bakes too quickly it can develop tunnels and cracks, too slowly and it are often coarse. Let your oven preheat for a minimum of 10 minutes, and use an thermometer to form sure it reaches the right temperature. Remember, if you're using dark cake pans, you'll be wanting to scale back the oven temperature involved in your recipe by 25°F.
Stirring together dry ingredients
Step 6: Stir Together Dry Ingredients Dry ingredients usually include flour, leaven and/or bicarbonate of soda , and salt. instead of adding each dry ingredient individually to the batter, mix them together during a bowl beforehand. That way you recognize that the ingredients are equally distributed throughout the batter.
Step 7: Combine the butter and sugar Beating butter
Step 7: Combine the Butter and Sugar Wondering the way to make a cake with light, tender texture? an important step is to form sure the butter (or shortening, if laid out in the recipe) and therefore the sugar are perfectly combined. Here's how:
Using an electrical mixer on medium to high speed, beat the butter for 30 seconds. Generally, a stand mixer requires a medium speed for this step and a hand mixer requires a better speed. Add the sugar in small amounts, about ¼ cup at a time, beating on medium. Scrape the edges of the bowl as required . Adding the sugar little by little incorporates more air into the mixture. Beat the mixture on medium speed until it's combined and features a light, fluffy texture. (This will probably take 3 to five minutes. Don't cheat your timing.) Scrape the bowl occasionally while beating. Tiny bubbles are going to be created because the butter and sugar are combined, which can give your cake that dreamy, light, fluffy texture. Adding eggs to cake batter
Step 8: Add Eggs One at a Time Break one egg into a custard cup. (This way if you get shell fragments, you'll easily fish them out of the cup instead of attempt to get them out of the batter.) Add the egg to the butter-sugar mixture and beat well. Repeat with the remaining eggs.
Alternately adding flour and liquid to cake batter
Step 9: Alternate Adding Dry and Wet Ingredients Alternate between adding a number of the flour mixture and a few of the milk (or other liquid laid out in the recipe) to the butter-egg-sugar mixture, beating on low speed after each addition until combined. Begin and end with the flour mixture. (This is because when liquid is mixed into flour, gluten begins to make . an excessive amount of gluten makes for a troublesome cake, so make certain to start out and finish with flour, and not overmix once you add liquid.)
Tip: take care to not overmix at this stage alternatively you would possibly get elongated, irregular holes within the finished cake.
Spreading cake batter in pan.
Step 10: Pour Batter Into Pans and Bake Divide the batter evenly between the baking pans. Use an offset metal spatula to spread the batter in a good layer. make certain to spread it to the pan edge. Bake your cake consistent with your recipe's directions.
Checking cake for doneness
Step 11: Check Cake for Doneness How does one avoid a dry cake? Avoid overbaking it. Start checking the cake for doneness after the recipe's stated minimum baking time. For creamed cakes, insert a wooden toothpick near the middle of the cake. If the pick comes out clean, the cake is completed .
Removing pan from cake
Step 12: Cool the Cake Let the cakes cool within the pans for 10 minutes maximum. to get rid of from the pans, run a knife round the edges of the cake to loosen it from the edges . Place a wire rack over the highest of the cake and flip the pan. Lift the pan the cake, being careful to not tear the sides of the cake. If you used waxed or parchment paper, gently peel the paper off the cake.
Allow the cake to chill completely (about 1 hour). this is often a key step to letting the cake arrange , making it less likely to interrupt apart as you frost it. (And it keeps the frosting from melting as soon as you spread it!)
Assemble the layers
Step 13: Assemble the Cake To avoid crumbs in your frosting, brush the cake layers with a pastry brush before assembling. Spread about ½ cup of frosting over the primary layer, then carefully top with subsequent layer. Repeat until the cake is assembled.
Add the Crumb Coat
Step 14: Add the primary Coat of Frosting Add a crumb coat by spreading a really thin layer of frosting over the edges and top of the cake. this first coat doesn't got to look perfect; it's differently to stay the crumbs out of the frosting. Let the cake represent half-hour therefore the frosting sets up.
Final Frosting Layer
Before you'll start cake decorating, you've got to generously spread the bottom frosting along all sides of your cake. We used the Vanilla soured cream Frosting recipe during this photo. Step 15: Frost and Decorate Using an offset spatula or knife , generously spread the remaining frosting over the highest and sides of the cake, swirling as you go. Once the cake is totally covered, return and add more swirls as desired. Serve the cake within 2 hours or refrigerate to store.
