Hire the best Virtual Reality Developers
Tumblr media
Hiring programmers for Unity, Unreal, and other game engines has always been a smart move. It is becoming increasingly challenging to hire people as new businesses compete for talent in AR. This makes it more harder to find employees who can work in AR. It can be challenging to locate and hire qualified candidates, but let's look at some methods for doing so.
Abilities
Because they need such a diverse variety of skills, AR developers are hard to find. Developers of augmented reality systems need to be proficient in computer vision, 3D modeling, and programming for desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. Three essential elements of 3D modeling are texturing, shading, and rendering. Platform-specific preferences for programming languages vary, although they are typically C++, C#, or another language of a similar nature. If you want to become an AR developer, you should like trying new things. This is a result of the sector's ongoing innovation and product development. Retaining fresh research in the field is essential because much of the technology comes from university-based research.
Before agreeing, request to see a proof of concept
By developing a project that is worthy of a portfolio, job applicants hope to make an impression and separate out from the competition. When it comes to augmented reality and virtual reality, you have to see it to believe it. Your first question should be, "Can I view one of these?" There are many apps available that show how things work. I am aware that the proof of concept may have some minor flaws. Utilize it instead to evaluate a developer's skill level and understanding of your project.
You should look for talents in the vertical business
You'll need to go beyond the fundamentals of augmented and virtual reality development because it may be challenging to understand these technologies while developing an app. You should look for someone who has experience working in your field or who has managed a difficulty similar to yours in another. For example, gaming is very different from shopping. Toys and logistics are very different. In the business sector, the same holds true. Although AR faces some technical limitations, businesses also face their own. In this case, you start from scratch rather than utilizing present skills that can be used in the future. Exercise caution because doing so could slow down the development process and endanger your project.
Final Thought
However, in order to be successful in the lucrative AR industry, you must be able to make the goods you want. XcelTec can assist you with this. By using the aforementioned checklist, you may choose a virtual and augmented reality developer who can finish your project on time and within your specified budget while also producing material that can be accessed on a range of devices.

It’s my birthday is on Saturday! Could I have please a Gregory house x reader imagine?
Birthday Girl
Gregory House x Female Reader
Summary: It is Y/N's birthday and everyone seems to have forgotten but House.
TW: Established relationship, surprise party, House being sneaky.
A/N: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🥳🎂🎉 Hope you have the best day ever!
F/N: Father's name M/N: Mother's name
Tumblr media
It was Y/N's birthday.
Y/N was a relatively simple person and didn't expect much fanfare on her birthday, but she at least wanted it to be acknowledged. It was almost lunchtime and not one person had wished her a happy birthday.
Y/N hadn't received a single call or text from friends or family either and it was starting to get to her. She sat alone at a table in the cafeteria, picking away at a dry muffin while trying not to cry.
Y/N looked up when House sat down across from her, her eyes quickly returned to the dissected baked good as she tried to keep herself together.
"You've been upset about something all day long. You've been virtually useless in differentials and I think I know why," House started.
"Why?" Y/N questioned softly.
He stuck a hand into his blazer, pulling out a pink envelope and setting it down on the table. Y/N glanced up at him before picking it up, she opened it and slid out a card.
It was blue with a cartoon goose in a party hat on the front, in swirly pink writing it read:
Happy Birthday, you silly goose!
Y/N felt tears gathering in her eyes, "Happy birthday, Y/N," House said.
"Thank you," She said softly.
"I made reservations for us at that fancy place you like, I'll pick you up at eight," House stated.
"Okay," Y/N smiled.
House stood up from the table, "Get some real food in the meantime, none of the stuff they bake here is edible," House said.
House and Y/N had been dating for almost three years. She was an important member of his team and feelings developed between them as they spent more time together. House always had a soft spot for Y/N and he tended to be more gentle with her than he was with other members of his team.
Cuddy and Wilson both talked to Y/N when their relationship was in the early stages. They wanted her to be careful and advised her that being with him was not a good decision.
Y/N and House worked together, he was her boss and he was House, which was reason enough for her to steer clear.
House was rude, manipulative, sarcastic and downright abrasive while Y/N was the complete opposite. She was kind, trusting, soft-spoken and generally sweet, everyone who met her absolutely loved her.
Wilson and Cuddy thought that House would ruin her.
House may not have always been the romantic type, but he definitely cared for Y/N. He looked out for her in ways that weren't obvious, discreetly checking in to make sure she was doing alright.
For the most part, House had done well with keeping his relationship out of the workplace. Other than a few nasty jokes here and there, he treated her the same as his other employees. Things got easier as time went on and Cuddy was actually surprised that he was able to compartmentalize.
The rest of the day was eventful, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary when it came to being on a case with House. The patient was lied to and browbeaten into making the decision that eventually led to their diagnosis and subsequent cure.
House drove to her apartment after they had finished the case, he brought her a bouquet of flowers and a wrapped gift. He made his way up to the door and knocked, breath catching in his throat when he saw her.
Y/N had always dressed well, but seeing her fully made up always managed to take his breath away.
"You look hot," He said.
Y/N smiled, "Thank you," She replied.
"Got these for you," House said, holding out the bouquet to her.
"Aw, that's sweet. Just give me a minute to put them in some water and then we can go, okay?" Y/N asked, House nodded.
Y/N made her way into the kitchen, House stepped into her apartment and closed the door. He set the gift on the table next to the couch, moving over to the kitchen and watching Y/N as she trimmed the flowers.
Y/N placed the colorful flowers into the water before setting the vase in the center of her kitchen island.
"I know you like pink so I asked for whatever was the most pink," House stated.
"I love them. Thank you, Greg," Y/N smiled.
He nodded, "We should get going, got a reservation in twenty minutes," He said.
...
Dinner went off without a hitch, they had a few drinks and shared a dessert before House walked her back to his car. He opened the door for her, she thanked him as she slipped inside.
House nodded, closing the door behind her before moving around to the driver's side. He drove back to her apartment with the radio playing softly as they talked. House parked the car and walked her up to her apartment, standing behind her as she unlocked the door.
Y/N opened the door, the lights turned on suddenly before the large group of party guests yelled, "Surprise!"
Y/N turned to look at House, "Did you plan this?" She asked.
He nodded, "I know how crazy you are about birthdays so I told everyone to keep quiet about it until the party... Then you were moping around so much that I caved and got you the card," House said.
Y/N smiled, sliding her arms around him and giving him a hug, "Thank you," She mumbled.
He returned her embrace, "You're welcome... Now go enjoy your party," He said.
Y/N pulled away, stepping into her apartment with a happy smile. Everyone was there, including her parents that House flew to New Jersey for the occasion.
House settled himself on the couch with a drink as he watched his girlfriend interact with her friends and family. He knew that he was lucky to have her, but times like these just showed him exactly how lucky he was.
Y/N almost had too many friends to invite, everyone she had ever met fell in love with her and it baffled him.
How could a person be so magnetic to everyone around them without intending to be?
Y/N had no greater motivations, she was just genuinely happy and House wanted to be like that.
Y/N made her way over, sitting down on the couch beside House and crossing her legs, "You enjoying the party?" He asked.
"I am, but you're not," Y/N stated.
"I enjoy spending time with you, not a fan of the crowd," House said.
"Do you want to stay over tonight?" She questioned.
"You just want me to help you clean up this mess," House said, Y/N rolled her eyes with a smile.
"You're right, I only want you to stay over for your cleaning abilities. Not because I like you or anything," Y/N teased.
"I'll stay," House nodded.
"Good, I was hoping that you would," She replied.
"Since I managed to steal you away from your many adoring fans," He started, reaching over and grabbing the wrapped gift that he had left on the table.
House held it out to her, "Open it," He said.
Y/N took the gift from his hand, carefully tearing away the paper. She let out a soft gasp when she realized what it was, a pristine first edition copy of her favorite book.
"Where did you find this?" She asked softly.
"I've been looking around for a while," House said.
"House, this must've cost you a fortune," Y/N said, looking over the book and examining the details.
"You're worth every penny," He stated.
Y/N looked up at him, "You're a really sweet guy, House. Thank you," She said.
He nodded, "I should go introduce myself to your parents, learn what kind of craziness is in my future," House said.
"You go do that," Y/N said, pressing a gentle kiss to his cheek. House stood up from the couch, making his way over to Y/N's parents.
"Hi, I don't think we've met. I'm Gregory House," He said.
"I'm F/N and this is my wife, M/N. Thank you for inviting us," Y/N's father said.
"Yes, we really appreciate you flying us down to see her," M/N said.
"Of course, you're her parents and you should be here," House nodded.
"We've heard a lot about you, Doctor House," M/N said.
"Don't believe everything you hear... Unless they're good things, then they're completely true," House said.
M/N smiled, "Our daughter seems quite smitten with you and I can definitely see why," She said.
"I'm a lucky guy," House nodded, tapping his cane on the ground gently.
"I was actually hoping to get your blessing to ask her to marry me," House admitted.
Her mother smiled widely, looking over at her husband, "I just need to know one thing, Doctor House... Do you love her?" F/N asked.
"More than I've ever loved anything," House stated.
"Then of course, you have our blessing," F/N said, holding out his hand to House. He shook her father's hand with a small smile, knowing that he was about to make the best decision of his life.
...
Y/N woke up the next morning, eyes fluttering open to the bright sunlight filtering in through the window. Y/N turned onto her other side, realizing that the space beside her was unoccupied. House tended to have bouts of insomnia, but usually wound up in bed beside her before she woke up in the morning.
Y/N let out a soft sigh, eyes drifting over to the alarm clock on the nightstand.
"Oh, crap," She mumbled, climbing out of bed quickly and rushing into the bathroom when she realized that she was incredibly late for work.
Y/N brushed her teeth, combing her hair and pulling it up into a ponytail. Y/N made her way out of the bathroom, searching through her clothing quickly to find an outfit.
"Where's the fire?" House asked, making his way into the bedroom with a tray in his hands.
"I'm really late," Y/N mumbled shakily, trying to keep the panicked tears at bay.
"I called in for you and I already," House said.
"You did what?" Y/N asked, turning to face him.
"You and I are out sick for the day," He stated.
Y/N let out a huff, her shoulders sinking as she looked at him, "Why didn't you tell me?" She asked.
"You were asleep," He shrugged, "Get back in bed, I made breakfast," He said.
Y/N shuffled over to the bed, climbing under the blankets and settling on the mattress with her back against the headboard.
House placed the tray over her lap, "I thought I had a bit more time before you woke up in a panic," He said, moving around the bed and getting in beside her.
Y/N huffed, "You almost gave me a heart attack," She said.
"My bad... I hope that the chocolate chip pancakes and bacon I made will fix it," He said.
"It might," Y/N replied. She shared her meal with House, sipping on her coffee while he watched her.
"I have a question for you," He said, she looked over at him.
House slipped a hand into the pocket of his pyjama pants and pulled out the small velvet box. He flipped the lid open with his thumb before holding it out in front of her. Y/N's eyes widened, gaze flickering between the ring and House.
"Will you marry me?" He asked.
"I'm sorry, what?" Y/N mumbled quietly, House smiled.
House let out a soft laugh, hand dropping onto the bed, "Did you not understand the question?" He asked.
"No... I-I don't know," Y/N said softly.
"I'm gonna ask again, alright?" House questioned, she nodded.
"Will you marry me?" He asked.
"Did you ask my dad?" Y/N questioned.
"I don't want to marry your dad, I want to marry you," House stated, smile widening.
"No, did you ask him for his blessing?" Y/N asked.
"Of course I did and he said yes. Now, I'm gonna ask you for the third time and I need you to focus because asking four times would be humiliating, alright?" House said.
"I'm sorry, I just- I wasn't ready," Y/N said, her cheeks flushing.
"Will you marry me?" House asked.
"Yes," Y/N replied, a wide smile breaking out across her face.
"Finally! My god, I was starting to think that I'd never get an answer," House said.
Y/N cupped his cheeks, pressing her lips to his in a gentle kiss. She pulled away and House took her left hand into his, plucking the ring from the box and sliding it onto her finger.
Y/N smiled as she looked down at it, "It's beautiful, House," She said.
"Wilson helped me pick it out. He's got a lot of experience with ring shopping," House said.
"Well, I love it, it's perfect," Y/N assured.
"I'm glad you like it... Happy birthday, Y/N," He said.

The article under the cut
Allies of Elon Musk stationed within the Education Department are considering replacing some contract workers who interact with millions of students and parents annually with an artificial intelligence chat bot, according to internal department documents and communications.
The proposal is part of President Trump’s broader effort to shrink the federal work force, and would mark a major change in how the agency interacts with the public. The Education Department’s biggest job is managing billions of dollars in student aid, and it routinely fields complex questions from borrowers.
The department currently uses both call centers and a rudimentary A.I. bot to answer questions. The proposal would introduce generative A.I., a more sophisticated version of artificial intelligence that could replace many of those human agents.
The call centers employ 1,600 people who field over 15,000 questions per day from student borrowers.
The vision could be a model for other federal agencies, in which human beings are replaced by technology, and behemoth contracts with outside companies are shed or reduced in favor of more automated solutions. In some cases, that technology was developed by players from the private sector who are now working inside or with the Trump administration.
Mr. Musk has significant interest in A.I. He founded a generative A.I. company, and is also seeking to gain control of OpenAI, one of the biggest players in the industry. At other agencies, workers from the newly created Department of Government Efficiency, headed by Mr. Musk, have told federal employees that A.I. would be a significant part of the administration’s cost-cutting plans.
A year after the Education Department oversaw a disastrous rollout of a new federal student aid application, longtime department officials say they are open to the idea of seeking greater efficiencies, as have leaders in other federal agencies. Many are partnering with the efficiency initiative.
But Department of Education staff have also found that a 38 percent reduction in funding for call center operations could contribute to a “severe degradation” in services for “students, borrowers and schools,” according to one internal document obtained by The Times.
The Musk associates working inside the Education Department include former executives from education technology and venture capital firms. Over the past several years, those industries have invested heavily in creating A.I. education tools and marketing them to schools, educators and students.
The Musk team at the department has focused, in part, on a help line that is currently operated on a contract basis by Accenture, a consulting firm, according to the documents reviewed by The Times. The call center assists students who have questions about applying for federal Pell grants and other forms of tuition aid, or about loan repayment.
The contract that includes this work has sent more than $700 million to Accenture since 2019, but is set to expire next week.
“The department is open to using tools and systems that would enhance the customer service, security and transparency of data for students and parents,” said Madi Biedermann, the department’s deputy assistant secretary for communications. “We are evaluating all contracts to assess effectiveness relative to costs.”
Accenture did not respond to interview requests. A September report from the Education Department describes 1,625 agents answering 462,000 calls in one month. The agents also handled 118,000 typed chats.
In addition to the call line, Accenture provides a broad range of other services to the student aid system. One of those is Aidan, a more rudimentary virtual assistant that answers basic questions about student aid. It was launched in 2019, during Mr. Trump’s first term.
Accenture reported in 2021 that Aidan fielded 2.2 million messages in one year. But its capabilities fall far short of what Mr. Musk’s associates envision building using generative A.I., according to the internal documents.
Both Mr. Trump and former President Joseph R. Biden Jr. directed federal agencies to look for opportunities to use A.I. to better serve the public.
The proposal to revamp the communication system follows a meltdown in the rollout of the new Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, last year under Mr. Biden. As FAFSA problems caused mass confusion for students applying for financial aid, several major contractors, including Accenture, were criticized for breakdowns in the infrastructure available to students and parents seeking answers and help.
From January through May last year, roughly three-quarters of the 5.4 million calls to the department’s help lines went unanswered, according to a report by the Government Accountability Office.
More than 500 workers have since been added to the call centers, and wait times were significantly reduced, according to the September Department of Education report.
But transitioning into using generative A.I. for student aid help, as a replacement for some or all human call center workers, is likely to raise questions around privacy, accuracy and equal access to devices, according to technology experts.
Generative A.I. systems still sometimes share information that is false.
Given how quickly A.I. capabilities are advancing, those challenges are potentially surmountable, but should be approached methodically, without rushing, said John Bailey, a fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and former director of educational technology at the Education Department under President George W. Bush.
Mr. Bailey has since become an expert on the uses of A.I. in education.
“Any big modernization effort needs to be rolled out slowly for testing, to see what works and doesn’t work,” he said, pointing to the botched introduction of the new FAFSA form as a cautionary tale.
“We still have kids not in college because of that,” he said.
In recent weeks, the Education Department has absorbed a number of DOGE workers, according to two people familiar with the process, who requested anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the department’s security procedures and feared for their jobs.
One of the people involved in the DOGE efforts at the Education Department is Brooks Morgan, who until recently was the chief executive of Podium Education, an Austin-based start-up, and has also worked for a venture capital firm focused on education technology, according to the two people.
Another new staffer working at the agency is Alexandra Beynon, the former head of engineering at Mindbloom, a company that sells ketamine, according to those sources and an internal document.
And a third is Adam Ramada, who formerly worked at a Miami venture capital firm, Spring Tide Capital, which invests in health technology, according to an affidavit in a lawsuit filed against the Department of Government Efficiency.
None of those staffers responded to interview requests.

Remote Work Redefined: TopDevz CEO Ashkan Rajaee on the Future of Flexible Business
In a world where remote work has rapidly shifted from a temporary solution to a long-term strategy, TopDevz CEO Ashkan Rajaee is leading by example. Speaking ahead of the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, Rajaee shared insights on how his company has seamlessly integrated remote operations into its DNA—and why he believes this model isn’t just a passing trend.
A New Kind of Software Solutions
TopDevz isn’t your typical tech firm. Comprising an elite team of software developers, designers, project managers, and quality assurance specialists based in the United States and Canada, the company tackles the unique challenges that conventional off-the-shelf software can’t resolve. Rajaee explains that while standard solutions can cover 80–90% of business needs, the remaining nuances often cause significant inefficiencies. TopDevz fills this gap by offering custom solutions designed to address those critical details, ensuring that their clients achieve peak operational efficiency. With an impressive 96% workforce retention rate and 63% of their business coming through referrals, the company’s model speaks volumes about its effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
Mastering Remote Operations
Long before the global pivot to remote work, TopDevz was already thriving in a fully virtual environment. Rajaee emphasizes that the success of remote operations lies in having the right infrastructure and clear communication channels. “Working remotely isn’t as simple as logging in from home,” he notes. “It demands disciplined processes and a commitment to best practices—elements we’ve honed over the years.” His team’s seamless transition during the pandemic only reinforced the idea that a well-organized remote workforce can outperform traditional office setups.
The Indefinite Future of Remote Work
For TopDevz, remote work isn’t a temporary workaround—it’s the future. Rajaee envisions a business landscape where companies can lower overhead costs while empowering employees to work from anywhere. This flexible model not only drives client satisfaction by reducing expenses but also enriches employees’ lives by allowing them to choose environments that inspire creativity and well-being.
Rajaee even shares a personal touch: his passion for working from a yacht. Equipped with reliable Wi-Fi and satellite services, his unconventional workspace symbolizes the freedom that remote work offers. “If your current job doesn’t support the lifestyle you aspire to, it’s time to consider other opportunities,” he advises. His own journey from renting a yacht to eventually making it part of his regular work life underscores the importance of aligning one’s career with personal values and ambitions.
Empowering the Next Generation of Remote Entrepreneurs
Beyond leading TopDevz, Rajaee is passionate about sharing his remote work philosophy. Through his “RemotePreneur” initiative, he provides aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals with a playbook for building successful remote companies. This resource addresses the nuanced challenges of remote business management—from overcoming financial stagnation in traditional roles to confronting the inevitable criticisms that come with venturing off the beaten path. Rajaee’s message is clear: true freedom in work comes from rethinking established norms and embracing the possibilities that remote operations can offer.
Embracing a New Era
As businesses around the globe continue to navigate the evolving work landscape, Ashkan Rajaee’s vision serves as a powerful reminder that remote work, when executed with precision and passion, can unlock unprecedented opportunities. His leadership at TopDevz demonstrates that with the right approach, remote operations can not only sustain but also drive innovation, employee satisfaction, and overall business growth.
In a time when flexibility and adaptability are more important than ever, Rajaee’s insights offer a compelling roadmap for companies eager to thrive in a remote-first world.

LETTERS FROM AN AMERICAN
February 7, 2025
Heather Cox Richardson
Feb 08, 2025
Maya Miller of the New York Times reported today that the congressional phone system has been jammed with tens of millions of calls from outraged constituents contacting their representatives to demand that they stand against President Donald Trump and his sidekick Elon Musk as they unilaterally dismantle the United States government and gain access to Americans’ private information. The Senate phone system usually gets about 40 calls a minute; now it is up to 1,600.
On Wednesday, Nicole Lafond of Talking Points Memo reported that Senate Republicans were not especially concerned about Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency team rampaging through the federal government, figuring that Musk won’t last long and that the courts will eventually stop him. Today, Musk posted on X: “CFPB RIP,” with a tombstone emoji. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has recovered more than $17 billion for consumers from fraudulent or predatory practices since it began in 2011.
Trump seems willing to let Musk continue to run amok through the government while he becomes a figurehead. Today he posted on his social media site that he has fired the chair and members of the board of trustees of the Kennedy Center, saying they “do not share our Vision for a Golden Age in Arts and Culture.” He promised to announce a new board, “with an amazing Chairman, DONALD J. TRUMP!” “For the Kennedy Center, THE BEST IS YET TO COME!” he wrote.
U.S. District Judge Carl J. Nichols, who was appointed by Trump in 2019, is less impressed with the direction of the Trump administration. Today, he blocked it from placing more than 2,000 employees of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) on paid leave. Trump and his allies have claimed—without evidence—that USAID is corrupt, but Steven Lee Myers and Stuart A. Thompson of the New York Times reported today that the disinformation making those claims on social media posts, for example, comes from Russia.
Senator Angus King (I-ME) took his Republican colleagues to task yesterday for their willingness to overlook the Trump administration’s attack on the U.S. Constitution. King took the floor as the Senate was considering the confirmation of Christian Nationalist Russell Vought as director of the Office of Management and Budget. Vought, a key author of Project 2025, believes the powers of the president should be virtually unchecked.
King reminded his colleagues that they had taken an oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic” and noted that the Framers recognized there could be domestic enemies to the Constitution. “Our oath was not to the Republican Party, not to the Democratic Party, not to Joe Biden, not to Donald Trump,” King said, “but…to defend the Constitution.”
“And…right now—literally at this moment—that Constitution is under the most direct and consequential assault in our nation's history,” King said. “An assault not on a particular provision but on the essential structure of the document itself.”
Why do we have a Constitution, King asked. He read the Preamble and said: “There it is. There's the list—ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, ensure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.” But, he pointed out, there is a paradox: the essence of a government is to give it power, but that power can be abused to hurt the very citizens who granted it. “Who will guard the guardians?” King asked.
The Framers were “deep students of history and…human nature. And they had just won a lengthy and brutal war against the abuses inherent in concentrated governmental power,” King said. “The universal principle of human nature they understood was this: power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
How did the Framers answer the question of who will guard the guardians? King explained that they built into our system regular elections to return the control of the government to the people on a regular basis. They also deliberately divided power between the different branches and levels of government.
“This is important,” King said. “The cumbersomeness, the slowness, the clumsiness is built into our system. The framers were so fearful of concentrated power that they designed a system that would be hard to operate. And the heart of it was the separation of power between various parts of the government. The whole idea, the whole idea was that no part of the government, no one person, no one institution had or could ever have a monopoly on power.”
“Why? Because it's dangerous. History and human nature tells us that. This division of power, as annoying and inefficient as it can be,… is an essential feature of the system, not a bug. It's an essential, basic feature of the system, designed to protect our freedoms.”
The system of government “contrasts with the normal structure of a private business, where authority is purposefully concentrated, allowing swift and sometimes arbitrary action. But a private business does not have the army, and the President of the United States is not the CEO of America.”
In the government, “[p]ower is shared, principally between the president and this body, this Congress, both houses…. [T]his herky-jerkiness…this unwieldy structure is the whole idea,... designed to protect us from the…inevitable abuse of an authoritarian state.”
Vought, King said, is “one of the ringleaders of the assault on our Constitution. He believes in a presidency of virtually unlimited powers.” He “espouses the discredited and illegal theory that the president has the power to selectively impound funds appropriated by Congress, thereby rendering the famous power of the purse a nullity.” King said he was “really worried about…the structural implications for our freedom and government of what's happening here…. Project 2025 is nothing less than a blueprint for the shredding of the Constitution and the transition of our country to authoritarian rule. He's the last person who should be put in the job at the heart of the operation of our government.”
“[T]his isn't about politics. This isn't about policy. This isn't about Republican versus Democrat. This is about tampering with the structure of our government, which will ultimately undermine its ability to protect the freedom of our citizens. If our defense of the Constitution is gone, there's nothing left to us.”
King asked his Republican colleagues to “say no to the undermining and destruction of our constitutional system.” “[A]re there no red lines?” he asked them. “Are there no limits?”
King looked at USAID and said: “The Constitution does not give to the President or his designee the power to extinguish a statutorily established agency. I can think of no greater violation of the strictures of the Constitution or usurpation of the power of this body. None. I can think of none. Shouldn't this be a red line?”
Trump’s “executive order freezing funding…selectively, for programs the administration doesn't like or understand” is, King said, “a fundamental violation of the whole idea of the Constitution, the separation of powers.” King said his “office is hearing calls every day, we can hardly handle the volume. This again, to underline, is a frontal assault of our power, your power, the power to decide where public funds should be spent. Isn't this an obvious red line? Isn't this an obvious limit?”
King turned to “the power seemingly assumed by DOGE to burrow into the Treasury's payment system” as well as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, with “zero oversight.” “Do these people have clearance?” King, who sits on the Senate Intelligence Committee asked. “Are the doors closed? Are they going to leave open doors into these? What are the opportunities for our adversaries to hack into the systems?... Remember, there's no transparency or oversight. Access to social security numbers seem to be in the mix. All the government's personnel files, personal financial data, potentially everyone's tax returns and medical records. That can't be good…. That's data that should be protected with the highest level of security and consideration of Americans' privacy. And we don't know who these people are. We don't know what they're taking out with them. We don't know whether they're walking out with laptops or thumb drives. We don't know whether they're leaving back doors into the system. There is literally no oversight. The government of the United States is not a private company. It is fundamentally at odds with how this system is supposed to work.”
“Shouldn't this be an easy red line?” he asked.
“[W]e're experiencing in real time exactly what the framers most feared. When you clear away the smoke, clear away the DOGE, the executive orders, foreign policy pronouncements, more fundamentally what's happening is the shredding of the constitutional structure itself. And we have a profound responsibility…to stop it.”
King’s appeal to principle and the U.S. Constitution did not convince his Republican colleagues, who confirmed Vought.
But today, Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker took a different approach, trolling Trump’s claim that the Gulf of Mexico would now be called “the Gulf of America.” Standing behind a lectern and flanked by flags of the United States and Illinois, Pritzker solemnly declared he was about to make an important announcement.
“The world’s finest geographers, experts who study the Earth’s natural environment, have concluded a decades-long council and determined that a Great Lake deserves to be named after a great state. So today, I’m issuing a proclamation declaring that hereinafter Lake Michigan shall be known as Lake Illinois. The proclamation has been forwarded to Google to ensure the world’s maps reflect this momentous change. In addition, the recent announcement that to protect the homeland, the United States will be purchasing Greenland, Illinois will now be annexing Green Bay to protect itself against enemies foreign and domestic. I’ve also instructed my team to work diligently to prepare for an important announcement next week regarding the Mississippi River. God bless America, and Bear Down [a reference to the Chicago Bears football team].”

Remember, the choice is ours – will we be swept away by the technological tsunami or ride its wave towards a brighter future?
Decentralization and democratization
Power structures will shift, with employees demanding more autonomy and consumers seeking ownership through blockchain-based solutions. Traditional institutions, corporations, and even governments will face challenges as power shifts towards distributed networks and grassroots movements. Individuals will demand active involvement in decision-making processes, leading to increased transparency and accountability in all spheres. Property and resources will be seen as shared assets, managed sustainably and equitably within communities. This transition won't be without its bumps. We'll need to adapt existing legal frameworks, address digital divides, and foster collaboration to ensure everyone benefits from decentralization.
Examples of Decentralization and Democratization
Decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs): Self-governing online communities managing shared resources and projects through blockchain technology.
Community-owned renewable energy initiatives: Local cooperatives generating and distributing clean energy, empowering communities and reducing reliance on centralized grids.
Participatory budgeting platforms: Citizens directly allocate local government funds, ensuring public resources are used in line with community needs.
Decentralized finance (DeFi): Peer-to-peer lending and borrowing platforms, bypassing traditional banks and offering greater financial autonomy for individuals.
Harnessing the Power of the Tide:
Embrace collaborative models: Participate in co-ops, community projects, and initiatives that empower collective ownership and decision-making.
Support ethical technology: Advocate for blockchain platforms and applications that prioritize user privacy, security, and equitable access.

Engage in your community: Participate in local decision-making processes, champion sustainable solutions, and build solidarity with others.
Stay informed and adaptable: Embrace lifelong learning and critical thinking to navigate the evolving social and economic landscape.
Pluto in Aquarius presents a unique opportunity to reimagine power structures, ownership models, and how we interact with each other. By embracing decentralization and democratization, we can create a future where individuals and communities thrive, fostering a more equitable and sustainable world for all. Remember, the power lies within our collective hands – let's use it wisely to shape a brighter future built on shared ownership, collaboration, and empowered communities.
Focus on collective prosperity
Universal basic income, resource sharing, and collaborative economic models may gain momentum. Aquarius prioritizes the good of the collective, advocating for equitable distribution of resources and opportunities. Expect a rise in social safety nets, universal basic income initiatives, and policies aimed at closing the wealth gap. Environmental health is intrinsically linked to collective prosperity. We'll see a focus on sustainable practices, green economies, and resource sharing to ensure a thriving planet for generations to come. Communities will come together to address social challenges like poverty, homelessness, and healthcare disparities, recognizing that individual success is interwoven with collective well-being. Collaborative consumption, resource sharing, and community-owned assets will gain traction, challenging traditional notions of ownership and fostering a sense of shared abundance.
Examples of Collective Prosperity in Action
Community-owned renewable energy projects: Sharing the benefits of clean energy production within communities, democratizing access and fostering environmental sustainability.
Cooperatives and worker-owned businesses: Sharing profits and decision-making within companies, leading to greater employee satisfaction and productivity.
Universal basic income initiatives: Providing individuals with a basic safety net, enabling them to pursue their passions and contribute to society in meaningful ways.
Resource sharing platforms: Platforms like carsharing or tool libraries minimizing individual ownership and maximizing resource utilization, fostering a sense of interconnectedness.
Navigating the Shift
Support social impact businesses: Choose businesses that prioritize ethical practices, environmental sustainability, and positive social impact.
Contribute to your community: Volunteer your time, skills, and resources to address local challenges and empower others.
Embrace collaboration: Seek opportunities to work together with others to create solutions for shared problems.
Redefine your own path to prosperity: Focus on activities that bring you personal fulfillment and contribute to the collective good.

Pluto in Aquarius offers a unique opportunity to reshape our definition of prosperity and build a future where everyone thrives. By embracing collective well-being, collaboration, and sustainable practices, we can create a world where abundance flows freely, enriching not just individuals, but the entire fabric of society. Remember, true prosperity lies not in what we hoard, but in what we share, and by working together, we can cultivate a future where everyone has the opportunity to flourish.

Recently I was looking up on wiki someone about fnaf help wanted and during that I was immediately reminded of one thing: the in universe game development studio Silver Parasol games (the company responsible for creating the in universe VR game Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience) and when looking that up I saw that their logo has a white rabbit mascot, we know that Vanessa used to work at silver parasol before glitchtrap infected her mind and developed the Vanny persona and even in the curse of dreadbear DLC theirs a Vanny mask, seeing how the VANNI mask unit is something that all fazbear Class V Technicians use is it possible that before Vanessa and before glitchtrap that Vanny started out as just a simple mascot character.
Actually, Vanessa didn't ever work at Silver Parasol, that was Tape Girl, who mentions that development was moving to a different studio or smth soon. Vanessa was always a Fazbear employee as far as we can tell. It's a neat idea though!

i might get hated for this post but i really dont care, i just have enough.
Can we please normalize that people can spend their money however they want? It’s really nobody else’s business. If someone decides to spend 30–40 euros on an EA Sims pack, that’s their choice, and it doesn’t affect anyone else. If you prefer to use cracked versions, that’s also your decision. But let’s stop shaming people just because they choose to support a game they love.
Personally, I own The Sims 2 on CD, but technology keeps evolving, and I’d like to still be able to play it years down the line without having to jump through ridiculous hoops just to get an old disc to work on a modern system. Not everyone wants to go through the hassle of setting up virtual machines, compatibility mods, or unofficial fixes just to play a game they legally own. If someone prefers to just repurchase a digital version for convenience, why is that such a problem?
I’m not trying to attack anyone, but my TikTok For You page is constantly filled with people arguing about this, and honestly, I’m tired of hearing it. At the end of the day, EA, like any other company, has employees to pay. Would you work for free while expecting your rent and living expenses to just magically disappear? No, right? Game development and maintenance cost money, and if people are willing to pay for something they enjoy, that’s completely fine.
And let’s not act like this is the only game where people spend money. Many other games charge absurd prices for cosmetics, character skins, or in-game items, and no one seems to make a huge fuss about that. Yet when someone spends money on an old Sims game, suddenly it’s a controversy? It’s ridiculous.
So, can we please just let people spend their money however they want without unnecessary judgment? If it doesn’t affect you, why does it even matter? Thanks.

By using the aforementioned checklist, you may choose a virtual and augmented reality developer who can finish your project on time and within your specified budget while also producing material that can be accessed on a range of devices.

idk if its just me but something about exploring office building spaces in virtual spaces is rly like exhilirating to me,,, maybe its like taking an environment thats normally quite foreign to me and making it like a playground,,,, but idk in general doing this with all sorts of modern day architecture really hits me in an emotional way,,,, something abt walking around the stanley parables environments, or like office levels in half life mods, the map for doom thats just the tiny seinfeld apartment with an insane amount of detail,,,,, i think i may just have permanent source engine custom map brainrot but something abt this shit,,,, i wanna just explore environments like these and play with my friends,,,, i like the idea of just existing in places outside of their intended function,,,, like imagine hanging out in an office cubicle building with ur tranny friends and playing in that space,,,, roleplaying an office worker or boss/employee relations as an improv bit or a kink set up to fucking or drawing on the walls, rolling up a skinny tranny in a carpet like a burrito and rolling her around the floors, hide and seek,,,, i have such a desire to use an office space as a playground, its so personified in its own way, its own environment, even if its aesthetic is kind of the pure absence of any personality thats an interesting aesthetic too! maybe this is a cope ive developed subconciously to hype myself up for my inevitable future of working towards an office job,,, or maybe im just really autistic and it is naturally appealing in some weird unexplainable way,,, probably both

James Holts Family Makes & Sells Rosé by u/AM_Rike
James Holt’s Family Makes & Sells Rosé It has been puzzling as to why Meghan suddenly dropped her jam launch plans to “randomly” launch her own rosé. It made no sense since it takes many years to develop a wine and build up a following. Unless you are using your tax free charity to pay some oaf $225K-$300K a year (depending on bonus amount) to do close to no work whatsoever, and that staffer’s family owns a winery. Archewell writes a handful of checks each year and gets a few photo ops. They have no actual original charity services or activities, so no need for high level execs. James also has enough free time to also work for the Invictus Games. So his total pay package could be closer to $500K. The Holt family rosé is low end, retailing at £50 for 6 bottles, making the wholesale cost quite affordable. James’ brother Thomas has been in the wine-making business since 2014. Is it possible that James’ brother will simply sell shipping containers of unlabeled rosè to California where, like her jam, Meghan merely slaps her ARO label on them? This could account for James’ absurd (and illegal) pay package for a charity with virtually no employees on staff. Just James, a female co-CEO and likely one Admin. If this is what‘s happening, that gives more fodder to the IRS should Archewell, Inc be audited. congrats to the citizen journalist on X who found this post link: https://ift.tt/vtpNFhH author: AM_Rike submitted: July 11, 2024 at 12:04AM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit disclaimer: all views + opinions expressed by the author of this post, as well as any comments and reblogs, are solely the author's own; they do not necessarily reflect the views of the administrator of this Tumblr blog.
