What is this ear style inspired by?
I've seen Danny's ears drawn this way sometimes and I'm curious about where it came from. Pointy spock ears is kind of just par for the course for non-human humanoids in a lot of sci-fi/fantasy, and demons and such especially, but this one isn't quite the same. Where does this one come from? Blue Exorcist? Dark Crystal? Is it an attempt to puppy-ify him? Someone please gush about this ear style to me I want to understand where it's coming from and what vibe it's meant to convey, what it's supposed to say about Danny.
