2017年もクラブの現場などで、DJを聴いていただいた方ありがとうございました。充実したDJライフを送れました。

2017年は、気づけば関わったプロジェクトの多くが音楽関係で、日中はメーカーの制作仕事したりして、ギリで納品して、そのままDJ現場に突入する週末とか、音楽番組の収録で朝からVJ演出したりとか。もちろんスタジオ営業もしているので、ギター教室やボイトレの教室もやって、簡単に言えば、音楽を応援するお仕事、結構多かったなー、と。僕の主体的な活動としてのDJも音楽を応援したいなーという気持ちかな、好きな曲見つけたら、すぐ現場でかけたいし、たくさんかけるし。というわけで、2017年に出会った、良い音楽紹介していきます。ツールミュージックも、リスニング系も分け隔てなく。気の利いたことは何も書けません、あしからず。

Ed sheeran / Shape Of You

紹介するまでもない、ベストトラックですけども、PR仕事で映像作ったんでw、紹介させてください。実は５年前くらいもエドシーランとは仕事してて、ライブの配信したり、PR用にオリジナルのMVも作ったりしたんですよね。久しぶりに新譜聴いて、めっちゃ惚れた。ほんといい曲書くよね。で、2017年はこのアルバムバカ売れしましたからね。５ミリほどですが、PR関われてよかったです。

DJ HASEBE / ROOM VACATION feat. 唾奇 & おかもとえみ

おかもとえみさんのHIT NUMBER好きで、Yuragiなんかでよくかけてたんだけど、完全にその系譜でリリースされたROOM VACATION。さすがですHASEBEさん。ドストライクでございます。HASEBEさんの作品で言えば、”今すぐ欲しい”なんかも似たフレイヴァーを感じますが、あれはビッチ過ぎますからね、ROOM VACATIONという現代的でちょうどいい需要に刺さる感じ、2017年を代表する曲でしょう。

ものんくる / ここにしかないって言って

ものんくるは以前から好きで、新譜が出たので素直に即買い。アルバム全曲やばいです。過去作以上に、J-POPというか日本語の歌謡曲への落とし込みが素敵なんです。基本J-POPにはウンザリだよって厨二心を抱えたまま、音楽業界の仕事している森の民なんですが、最後には日本語の歌で救われたいし、あきらめたくないという気持ちもあって、好きな曲に出会えるように歌モノもチェックはしてるし、好きなモノは現場でかけまく��ます。そう、ものんくるの、この曲は尺が短いので、DJで使いやすいw。

Super Flu - Gausa

Super Fluの2017年にリリースされた新譜Muzik3からの１曲。こちらもアルバム単位で素晴らしいです。Super Fluは１０年くらい前に知って、アナログとかいくつか持ってたんですが、最近アナログ所有のトラックをデジタルで買い戻すブームが自分の中であって、それでSuper Fluをdigったら、新譜出してるし、トラック最高だしで、アルバム買い。一般認知としてはテクノ界隈と思いますが、僕の中ではSuper Fluのトラックには、ハウスをすごい意識してて、オーガニックで幻想的なグラデーションがとても高揚感を生むんですよね。ツールミュージックなのに、曲単体で聴いても、なんとも言えないアップリフティングな感動を与えてくれて素敵です。Muzik3の中では、”pwf FEL”もおすすめです。今年一番現場でかけたかも。

Nachtbraker / M.m.m (feat. San Proper)

DetroitSwindle主宰でおなじみのHeist recordingsから。2017年リリースのものですね。ここ近年は、、もうHeistにどハマりで。。レーベル買いですね、現場で使いまくりだし、ほんとは紹介したくないレベルですけどw。この辺のシーンのことを日本ではどのように語られているか、、知りませんがw、こういうハウスのリエディット感、今のハウスのモダンな部分、このレーベル周辺から、すごく良いものがリリースされてますね。少し粘り気が少ないせいか、振り幅よくセットに入れ込めたり、逆に場の空気をグイッと変えるときとかもスマートにグルーヴを引っ張っていく力強さとかあります。

こちらは2016年12月リリース。日本で言ったらなんでしょうか、有名な��経がハウスリミックスになった、みたいな感じでしょうか。。そうゴスペルの有名曲のハウスカバーです。がっつしゴスペルハウスや歌モノのNYハウスをかけることはあまりないというか、扱う器量が自分にはなかなかないような気がして、かけにくかったりしますが、ハウスを好きになったきっかけは、”天使にラブソングを”観て、、というベタすぎて恥ずかしいやつなんですけど、まあしょうがない。Bobby D'Ambrosioは自分が高校生の頃にレコード買ったりしてて、最近、ふと彼の新譜は今あるのだろうか？と気になり検索。まだバリバリ現役、そしてあいも変わらずBobby D'Ambrosio節炸裂の安心感。たまらず購入した次第です。あとは、2017年末は、ゴスペルハウスを多めにかけようと思っていて、ゴスペル歌手の亀渕友香ちゃんが亡くなられて、RIPの気持ちをささやかに込めてDJをしていました。僕というより、、うちの母が、仲の良い友人だった過去があり、友香ちゃんがいなければ僕は生まれていなかったかもw、という馴れ初め的なことがあったLA時代の友人だったとのこと。まあごく個人的なことなので、あれやこれやとは書きませんけど。感謝と追悼の気持ちを込めて、ハウスを鳴らしていました。

宇多田ヒカル　/　あなた

紹介するまでもなくという曲ですが、2017年最後にとんでもない名曲がでてきてしまいましたね。すっと垢抜けたような印象がありますね、DTMこねくり回していた時期とは違い、素直で丁寧なアレンジで、普遍的に時代に寄り添ってくれそうな曲です。歌詞の世界にやられてしまいw、おそらく初めての自分の子供に対するメッセージですよね。僕も最近子供を持った立場なので、もうね、シーンがかぶるかぶる。一聴して、ジーンと刺さってしまいました。僕がハウスDJ、ダンスミュージック、もっといえばインスト音楽が好きなのは、聴き手の想像力をふんだんに介在してクリエイティブに再構築できる隙間と寛容さがあるから好きなんですよね。歌とか歌詞とか、メッセージとかいらないし、っていう。でも、この宇多田ヒカルの楽曲のように、コテンパンに刺さっちゃうもの聴かされたら、ただ素直に良い、と受け入れるだけですね。
