At the end of the first Guardians movie when Drax is comforting Rocket after Groot died, it probably reminded him of when Lylla comforted him since that’s the first and last time he ever received some form of comfort. It was also the first time anyone ever comforted him after the loss of a friend. And for Drax it was also the first time that he got to be in a fatherly role again. Now Drax gets to be a dad again to a bunch of kids in need and Rocket gets to be surrounded by his friends/family all the time, which is such a great full circle ending.

Grace was in the film (Conan The Destroyer) too. I liked Grace very much and I was the first person she called when she came to London a year later to do the Bond film A View To A Kill. But she was very hard work. I was responsible for choreographing all the fights, but Grace just had no concept of pulling punches. It was unbelievable. I had to pad up all the stunt guys with much more padding than was normal but she still managed to kick one of them and crack his ribs. I said, “Grace, we’re not doing this for real here. You’ve got to pull the punches.”

…the first person I saw (in Mexico) was Terry O'Neill, a weightlifter and a mate of Arnie. … I noticed that Terry’s nose was spread all over his face. “What happened?”, I asked. “Grace Jones”, Terry replied. one thing that I don't think gets spoken about enough is how so damn good the international posters for Vol. 2 were??? like they are SO PRETTY AND FOR WHAT????

I was lucky enough to get the Gamora one and although she's absolutely massive and takes up a LOT of room, out of all of my posters, she's the best one I own. she's so nice to look at—

excuse the fact that the nebula and yondu ones are in a different language, it was very hard to find ones that were decent quality. if I ever find them, I'll update this post 💚
