You are q!Cellbit, after seven days of a hell they've decided to call purgatory, your husband's life is on the line and you are understandably worried. He is alone, he needs bacon and rabbit leather so you scurry around the desssert and gut the creatures, it is not enough, so you decide to gut people (you'd kill anyone of that place if it meant not losing him). But the time runs out (weren't you meant to have all the time in the world?), you shout his name one last time (there wasn't supposed to be a last time) and then your husband (the person who saved you and gave you purpose unlike any other) vanishes right in front of you, just as your son did, and you couldn't do anything (again). So you are angry, you have promised vengeance and threatened those who doomed him. You walk back to your base, you need to plan, to strategize, someonething must be done, you must save him somehow. But the weight is too much and it knocks you down. You won't attend the funeral. The natural disasters will keep happening but they no longer faze you. You will spend two days like that; paralized, numb, not asleep but not quite awake. The rest of your team brings you tea but the only thing you hands are able to hold is your husband's tattered sweatshirt. On the third day you will rise, but for now is Monday and your husband is dead, do you might as well be too.

[Of which the following is but an excerpt; it turns out they're looking over an ad for Camel cigarettes as appeared in the very first issue of Life magazine as a photo weekly, dated November 23, 1936, spotted in an antique shop during their travels] HONEY, somewhat flustered: For the likes of me, Sis, I just had to laugh out loud at the very notion of smoking as an ideal accompaiment to the Thanksgiving meal, knowing smoking is not the very best thing to do anyway. Even at dinner. SIS, in like manner: And especially the notion that smoking a Camel alongside dessert, be it pumpkin pie, mincemeat pie, layer cake or plum pudding, "add[s] the final touch of comfort and good cheer"! Puh-LEEZE!! [Reading from the ad itself, and in a somewhat disbelieving, snarky even, tone:] "For when digestion proceeds smoothly, you experience a sense of ease and well-being." [Back to normal goloss:] I'd rather have a shot of Jagermeister as a digestive after dinner to help with digestion, and especially so after the after-dinner coffee, rather than a cigarette! HONEY: I never knew that Jagermeister was marketed as an after-dinner digestive, to begin with ... and with all they say about turkey making people sleepy, you have to wonder if Jagermeister has any such impact on the drowsiness angle. SIS: Yet then again, having some plum pudding (even if we had to order it from some online store as deals in British groceries) for the dessert was different for once; don't you think pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving dessert seems a little hackneyed, like a certain Scooby-Doo? HONEY: Well ... I have to say plum pudding as the desssert of our Thanksgiving dinner is a rather interesting choice, even if it meant having to fix the hard sauce from scratch. Just be thankful that a recipe therefor was included. SIS: Not to mention mixing some ginger ale with the old Hawaiian Punch for a sort of punch with the dinner; all in all, though, OUR Thanksgiving tiffin managed to do well--WITHOUT the need for smoking out of a misplaced notion that "digestion" required such an unhealthy accompaiment. HONEY: You couldn't have said better, Sis!
