Also, see?? Leo’s doing fine! It’s been a few years since the last post so he’s had plenty of time to set up all his unhealthy coping mechanisms.

Whew, I have to say this special is easily the most extensive thing I've done so far for Replica. This is the only time we'll probably see the Central Park Colony in its hay day so wanted to make the effort to show what I could. I love visual story telling, but hate doing backgrounds haha, it's a problem! I'll admit this is a lot messier than what I've been doing as of late but we're just going to have to deal since we have so much ground to cover. It might get messier, I make no promises. Next up, I think Casey and Raph need to have a talk.

I've recently read House of X/Powers of X and spent such a long time laughing at that Charles design... Then decided he's actually kind of fun to draw. And I just had to doodle the husbands cuddling (because yes they're married c'mon). I love how Erik is basically two times wider than Charles, he serves as an armchair

(Also reading HoX/PoX gave me the idea of shipping Charles, Erik and Moira from that universe- so there might be some doodles coming of that- I loved how the boys came to her for teatime guys 😭)

Experimentation doodles, starring V. They're extremely rough on account of me being trapped in another state and thus having to make due with my portable art setup, but in fun news I've decided that disassemblers in The Crawling Chaos can do the cat pupil dilation thing with their eyes. It was originally just going to be V that could do it, but I've decided give all of them that power. Partly because it's funny, and partly because it'll let me do some interesting stuff with expressions.

I can't bear anything at the moment. I'm sensitive and fragile. Too much violence on my mind. First thing's first, usually coffee, often espresso. Changing it up by using this glass mug procured for us from the café round the corner, a parting gift from a friend who stayed with us for a while earlier this year. When I use these I like to think of her, wherever she is – Paris, or LA – drinking from her matching cup and saucer.
