I'm always irritated with people who say that my standards are too high or that I'm too picky when it comes to finding a significant other. Like. Yes. But that's because I've handled myself at my lowest points. I've had to live with my worst self. And if you can't at least show me that you can bare minimum be my Equal. Then I put my life at Risk. I'm not looking for someone to always be stronger than me. I'm looking for someone to be strong With me. To allow growth and trust so that we may be strong enough for each other when the need arises.

I sit here, contemplating life and everything going on in my life atm. I wish people could be more understanding and accepting of mental illness. It’s REAL. And it sucks the joy, happiness, love out of people’s lives. It destroys families, relationships. It causes chaos and destruction. My family, my kids don’t know I’ve been battling demons. Depression, anxiety. Lack of self love and respect. It’s gotten to the point in my life where, I feel DEFEATED. LOST. I don’t want to feel this pain anymore. The emptiness.
