Right so valentines day is getting closer and im in the middle of the worst fucking art block idk if ill be able to draw something but i can at least share a lil idea i had:

fake dating au but make it aroace. i love fake dating aus.

so aroace scar who gets invited to like a family dinner or something and he kinda wants to go but also knows his parents will definitely want to know if hes seeing someone or if he wants to settle down with someone or something and scar does not want to listen to a lecture about how he'll find someone one day and how lonely he must be etc. if he says hes doesnt have a partner.

so he asks one of his friends to pretend to date him for the night. Maybe its grian or mumbo or gem or cub or anyone. doesnt matter really.

And surprisingly they have fun. They think the evening is fun and they strangely enjoy playing a couple.

So maybe when theyre back home on the server or wherever Scar admits it was fun and that he'd actually like to have them as a queerplatonic partner.

some of you might be unhappy to hear this but an interview mentioning that Eddie would want to hang out with his bestie of 7 years and the guy he hung out with at least 3 times a week and who he introduced to his son within weeks of knowing him, when said son no longer lives with (or speaks to) him, especially during a time he isn't dating 2 women simultaneously, being alone bar his coworkers and friends who are clearly very busy with other things...

wander's not like. super public with the cult the way hater is with his empire in the show, so i don't know whether he'd be airing something like that across the galaxy. hater's got like. totally negative charisma, especially when he's being recorded, and yet he continues recording himself, and i think that's a trait meteor would still share with him. mr meteor is very much like metroman of megamind to me, also, where he quits his life of fame & glory to become a nobody, but he still has that streak of like. craving the kind of attention a rockstar gets as opposed to the superhero/king treatment.

so i imagine the shorts would be like. meteor's vlogs on his youtube or something. and he's starting a series called Inside Planet Yonder or whatever where he sets up a camera in an unassuming place and does little dances for the camera until he gets caught. like a prank show or something, but very benign and mildly annoying as opposed to antagonistic. this does require the shorts to take place before wander is redeemed, but honestly, the timeline in this au is so scrambled when you try to put it up against the show itself (which is already crammed into two very short seasons) anyway

so we got stained as a tert and some of these new effects have like a gradient colouring overlay...and some only affect apparel... soooo simplify it and make a stain/dye effect on apparel ! have an apparel set that just doesn't QUITE match your dragon ? dye it ! make it have the same slightly transparent overlay as stained where it still shows some of the tones from underneath! ! bam!! infinite new colour palettes !! and no more worrying about releasing apparel that has something to suit everyones' taste at all times.
