I'm sitting here thinking about stuff.

Like-

What was the chance that I grew to wanting Dust Sans as my dad? How big was the percentage of it being Dust compared to other Sanses?

Did Classic have just as much of a chance? Did he have less of a chance? Why was it Dust? Was it the personality? What did Dust have that Dream didn't?

Why was I attracted towards one of the straight up murderers? There was a ton of morally clean and just as wonderful people to pick from. Dream, Ink, Blue, G, Epic, Classic, L, Color- Why was it specifically Dust?

In fact. Why was it Sanses at all? Couldn't it have been anybody?

I am happier with the outcome I have but it just makes me wonder. Could have one, just one, different step cause my whole feelings to change? Could one simple thing have really caused a whole different outcome?

Skeleton Deonie since Deonie has decided to try testing replacing their human half with skeleton/monster so they can feel more connected to the skeleton members of their family, namely Dust!

Thanks to Monika, this test can actually be possible, and even during the test(and if Deonie decides they want to be a skeleton forever) they are able to switch back and forth between human and skeleton at will.

My mind thought of Symbiot AU + Deonie angst so have this-

Deonie already heavily wishes for Dust to be proud of them but if it was Symbiot Dust(or if CV Dust had a similar personality), I feel like they could end up questioning the idea a lot more.

They'd do a lot for Dust and just hope it makes him proud. They'd probably massacre a whole city for that man. They just want to make him proud and, even if he says that he's proud, they're still at risk of trying to prove themselves again for either two reasons: They forgot he said that or they just want to keep one upping their previous actions to keep making him proud.

They'd probably open up to Pire about it first when they feel the most down and doubtful. If Pire questions why they are so focused on making Dust proud, they won't have an answer as to why. They just HAVE to, they HAVE to make him proud, plus it gives back up to the belief that Dust wouldn't abandon them because he's PROUD of them. They don't have the urge to make Pire proud, which confuses them, just Dust.

Depending on what Pire says, a lot could happen.

"Ending" 1: If Deonie takes what Pire says as negative in any way, they may try harder to make Dust proud, any implication that Dust isn't proud will instil fear and erratic desperation to MAKE him proud finally.

"Ending" 2: If Deonie takes what Pire says as positive, or was comforted, then they'd relax, still want to make Dust even more proud to be sure, but would cheer up, probably would spend that day cuddling with Pire as a 'thank you' and to make sure Pire didn't feel like they loved Dust more.

"Ending" 3: If Pire managed to make Deonie laugh(mostly after comfort or reassurance) then Deonie would probably joke around and put on an Elizabeth Afton cosplay.(Clear joke/gag/goofy end to the scene)

I could also see Pire, after realizing Deonie's urge to make Dust proud, using it as a way to help Deonie's bad habits. Deonie isn't eating a lot that day? "Dust may be a bit more proud of you if you try to eat today." Deonie isn't sleeping at night? "I'm sure Dust may be proud of you if you slept well tonight." Deonie isn't focusing on their own needs? "Dust would probably love it if you took care of yourself more, probably may be proud if you did!"

Deonie would totally get cocky and wander off while being babysat by Sym, or just forget to tell Sym where they're going.

They just blink and think "Imma go get some candy" and just leaves for the store without telling.

Also, didn't draw it, but Deonie would lowkey cuddle Sym while smol.

Added thought, I can see a moment where Sym and Deonie are playing around while Deonie is shape shifted like a ferret
