I mean to make more videos like this of my art process, but somehow, I always get lost in the sauce. I suppose that's how you know you're really enjoying what you do. I'm pretty open about my process because I believe art is for everyone. It should be open source. Allowed to be expanded upon, twisted, and molded until something new has been created. I don't understand those who covet their techniques; who hide behind ambiguous terminology. Are they afraid someone's going to steal their one trick and they will seize to be commercially viable? Beats me.
I woke up with the sudden knowledge that we needed a wisteria vine outside the kitchen window. I was correct.
Before:
After:
During:
(I went with DIYing a fake one because A. instant gratification, B. they don't do great in Denver winters and C. we didn't want to court structural damage around our windows since vines can be a very pretty bitch once they latch onto a house).
“My shoes are Demonias, pants are thrifted H&M, long sleeved shirt is secondhand Marine Serre, short sleeved shirt is a vintage tee from the 90s, and my bag is vintage Prada. I love colorful clothes and am inspired by DIY queers in Denver (where I live currently) drag, and the Muppets.”

If you’ve ever wanted to read my Quaint City romance series, but you’re not really an Ebook person, the first three books are now available in one solid volume called Quaint City: Three Tales of Queer Love by Avery Morstan.
From the back of the book:
* In Seams a Bit Queer, Kam is wondering if she can kick Scarlett’s awful boyfriend out of their shared apartment and keep Scarlett all to herself.
* In Upcycle My Heart, Denver (they/them) comes out later in life and needs a new start- maybe with DIY enthusiast Celia?
* In Vane Attraction, salon owner Vane struggles with family issues while harboring a crush on her soft butch lead stylist, Hannah.
It’s $14.95 on Amazon right now, or you can try to find me at some Pride festivals this summer but unless you’re in Maryland, that’s probably not cost effective for you. :-P
