PowerBite: Strengthening My Smile and My Recommendations
Tumblr media
As someone who prioritizes oral health, I'm always on the lookout for innovative products that can support strong teeth and healthy gums. While I practice good oral hygiene and have regular dental checkups, I was intrigued by PowerBite, a dental supplement claiming to utilize "thermal calcium" for enhanced benefits. Here's my experience with PowerBite:
A Unique Approach to Calcium Supplementation
The concept of "thermal calcium" initially piqued my curiosity. PowerBite highlights a unique processing method that supposedly enhances calcium absorption. While I'm not a scientist, the explanation resonated with my desire to go beyond basic calcium supplements. After some online research on the potential benefits of this processing method, I decided to give PowerBite a try.
Improved Enamel Strength and Reduced Sensitivity
Since incorporating PowerBite into my routine, I've noticed a positive change in the overall strength of my teeth. My dentist even commented on a slight improvement in enamel health during my last checkup. Additionally, I used to experience occasional sensitivity to cold drinks. Thankfully, that discomfort has become a thing of the past since taking PowerBite. Whether due to the thermal calcium or the combination of ingredients, I'm happy with the results.
Fresh Breath and a Brighter Smile
Beyond the benefits for my teeth, PowerBite has also had a positive impact on my breath. The supplement contains additional ingredients known for their breath-freshening properties, and I've noticed a noticeable difference in overall freshness throughout the day. This bonus benefit, coupled with the potential for stronger teeth, makes PowerBite an attractive option for anyone seeking a well-rounded oral health solution.
Convenient and Easy to Integrate into My Routine
PowerBite comes in chewable tablet form, making it a convenient and pleasant addition to my daily routine. The tablets have a mild, minty flavour and are easy to take on the go. The recommended dosage is just two tablets a day, making it effortless to incorporate into my existing regimen.
A Valuable Addition to My Oral Health Routine
While maintaining good oral health requires a combination of factors, including brushing, flossing, and regular dental checkups, PowerBite has become a valuable addition to my routine. The unique "thermal calcium" approach, coupled with the additional breath-freshening ingredients, has demonstrably improved the strength, health, and overall comfort of my teeth. If you're looking for a convenient and potentially effective way to support your oral health, I highly recommend giving PowerBite a try. Remember, consulting with your dentist before starting any new supplement regimen is always a good idea.

Re: dental cleanings. Do greenies (or similar products) actually help in dental care for dogs? Or are they just a gimmick?
GV here.
Most dental products on the market are gimmicks. Greenies, as it happens, are not. If a product has the seal of the Veterinary Oral Health Council, it means they have the studies to back up their product claims.

oral hygiene practices
maintaining healthy teeth and gums is crucial for many reasons:
prevents tooth decay and gum disease. regular brushing and flossing remove plaque, a sticky film of bacteria that can lead to cavities and gum disease if not properly managed.
maintains fresh breath. poor oral hygiene can cause bad breath (halitosis). brushing your teeth, and tongue, and using mouthwash can help keep your breath fresh.
reduces the risk of systemic diseases. there is a strong link between oral health and overall health. poor oral hygiene can contribute to conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and respiratory infections.
saves money. preventive care is often less expensive than treating dental problems. regular check-ups and cleanings can help catch issues early before they become more serious and costly.
so, let's look at some key practices to help maintain your smile.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ brush your teeth twice a day. use fluoride toothpaste and a soft-bristled toothbrush. brush for at least two minutes, making sure to clean all surfaces of your teeth.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ floss daily. flossing helps remove plaque and food particles between your teeth and under the gumline where your toothbrush can’t reach.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ use mouthwash. an antimicrobial or fluoride mouthwash can help reduce plaque, prevent cavities, and freshen your breath.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ maintain a healthy diet. limit sugary foods and drinks, as they can contribute to tooth decay. eating a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables can support overall oral health.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ stay hydrated. drinking plenty of water, especially fluoridated tap water, helps wash away food particles and bacteria.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ avoid tobacco products. smoking and chewing tobacco can lead to gum disease, tooth decay, and oral cancer.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ replace your toothbrush regularly. change it over every three to four months, or sooner if the bristles are frayed.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ visit your dentist regularly. regular dental check-ups and professional cleanings are essential for maintaining oral health and catching any issues early.
i know that i am only reinforcing what your dentist is already telling you - but my purpose is to provide easy information and further reading resources that may teach you something new. by incorporating these practices into your daily routine, you can keep your teeth and gums healthy.
unfortunately, i know many people who ignore simple health facts (for a multitude of reasons). but this is not the way! looking after your health and your body is so important!

hi guys, i know i just posted my analysis of how fish is made but i just finished my thoughts on the last one and then another so i hope you're still hungry!!! :D
tl;dr: the last one and then another is about how corporations prey on vulnerable people, and the consequences of that predation.
analysis under the cut!!
This game seems to take place after the "up" ending, as the fish you play as here is trapped in a mass of... well, something (it looks to be foam and, in retrospect, may very well be, since this DLC is a teaser for Mouthwashing). The symbolism here seems to be that you're "breaking out" of the mass that is a corporate job, but you still take some of it with you (hence why you're stuck in the foam), as you're still trying to "make it big" after being unsuccessful the first time; this time trying to "build something from the ground up".
The gameplay element of absorbing things around you reference the "up" ending in that you're accumulating things that are "useless" to generate a larger mass attached to yourself. You've branched off from the main corporate body and are now attempting to create your own.
The fish in the doorway may be a version of the Up-Fish from the base game: it insists that chasing corporate success has made it "bigger" and that things can "only get better", before offering itself to become part of you on the basis of mutual benefit (theoretically, you both get bigger). It brings to mind young idealists just starting out and wanting to be "part of something bigger" and "climb the ladder to success" via personal connections.
Curly's first monologue seems to be about getting stuck in an unfulfilling job that you only took on as a stepping stone, which indicates that this is the fate of the fish you just absorbed.
The cake fish seems to either be self employed, or unemployed: either finding joy in working for itself, or finding joy without needing to work. Its forceful assimilation into your mass seems to indicate the latter: no matter how fulfilled you are while out of work, you're essentially forced to work anyways.
The fish with the string and the little fish represents the struggle of being a working parent; specifically, a working single parent. You're made to work to support yourself and your child, but in order to do so, you sacrifice the time you have to care for your child, and thus your work "eats" your child, or forces itself into higher priority than childcare.
Curly's joke further emphasizes how many people prioritize work over their own wellbeing, simply due to the "work to live" rule; i.e., if someone lost their legs or hands, chances are their immediate concern would be about work rather than themselves.
The railings you use to get to the mouthwash room represent the fact that you're essentially "railroaded" into working by society. The fact that you fall off of it when returning displays the notion that being "successful" by society's standards is an unattainable ideal for many, and that the "road to success" is easy to fall off of due to how demanding it is.
The drunk fish is essentially a reiteration of the scared fish from the base game: it's experiencing its fear of making the "wrong choice". This could be someone who's struggling with work, wanting to go back to when anything seemed possible and "do it right" this time around. Its confusion also brings to mind someone who's young and financially struggling.
Curly's last monologue is about regret, fittingly: regretting having allowed yourself to get stuck, regretting having been convinced that this was the right choice & convincing others of it too, regretting never doing anything about it and making empty promises to yourself that you'll change things; and the regret making you spiteful and resentful of yourself and those around you. In a way, it parallels the fish on the catwalk near the end of the base game, telling you that the choice between "up or down" isn't really a choice at all.
The last "CONSUME" option isn't about assimilating Curly, it's about allowing your spitefulness at your situation to consume you, like how Jimmy did when he crashed the Tulpar, hence the segue into the teaser for Mouthwashing.
