okay look we all know and love the classic “demon shane” theory, but just hear me out: slenderman shane. he's gangly. he's looming. he's got obscenely long limbs for days. if i had to place a million dollar bet on which cryptid-energy exuding youtuber is actually a cryptid, no contest im picking shane madej. you're telling me there ain't an ounce of slenderman blood in that man's family tree? i don't believe you.

People had been scared of him for ages.

Decades.

He was the one you whispered about while taking the long route, trying to avoid the bridge.

He was the one you thought about when another dog went missing.

He was the one kids talked about while doing shitty horror challenges to see who was going to chicken out.

He was Goatman.

And yet, he was now angrily looking at a scared human accompanied by an high ranked demon, and he felt oh, so humiliated and terrified himself.

«Goatman! I'm dancing on your bridge, it's MY bridge now!» the Demon yelled, doing a stupid dance to make the human laugh. «If you want me off, you'll have to KILL me!» the Demon humored Goatman, knowing full well he's too strong.

Goatman had been scaring people for ages, only for a damn ghost hunter to own his bridge thanks to the tall Demon co-hosting his show.

After many failed Inktobers, I decided to stop trying to follow prompt lists that always end up boring me, so I'm challenging myself to draw a cryptid per day for all the month of October!

No lists, no prompts, just me drawing random creatures I like!

A Demon wasn't supposed to cry, but it was oh, so tired of its Life...

Only one person could help it. An infernal being like it didn't have friends, but...

The Demon trembled, knocking on the door of an apartment. Insistently, may I add. Footsteps, someone cursing, the door opening...

Ryan Bergara froze when he saw those black eyes, those sharp claws, those fangs.

Shane was a Demon.

Shane.

Was.

A.

Demon.

Fuck.

Turns out: Shane was possessed and the Demon, after years of Madej's skepticism and disrespect, was tired of it but somehow couldn't go away.

That, and also Annabelle was an awful roomate in such a tight ribcage.

I have yet to find a demon!Shane au where Shane gets possessed but instead of the demon causing chaos Shane's just like "You're stuck with me now" and the demon is just sorta trapped.

Shane doesn't actually think he's possessed, he thinks he's going through a midlife crisis.

Shane being a demon is one of those jokes where like I'm aware it's just a joke but also if Shane came out and said "Hey guys, so I actually am from hell and Satan is my boss" I would be like "Well yeah" and move on with my day.
