Working on A Brother Is A Brother (No Matter the War), so here's another sneak peek:

A few weeks ago, Zeldris had looked at Meliodas and seen the form of his big brother warp into one of a traitor and enemy. Now he looked at Meliodas and he wanted to see a traitor; just someone who turned his back on the demons and him. He wanted to see someone he hated - but he couldn't. Because all he saw was his big brother. The same brother who had spread fear among enemies and even made his allies wary of his wrath, but with whom Zeldris had always felt safe. The bother who had reached out a hand and told him to come with him, consequences be damned. The brother who had known this was all a trap, and had shown up anyway. Because Zeldris needed him. No matter what he did, Meliodas would still be his brother. Even if Zeldris tried - and for the past few weeks he had done nothing but try - Zeldris couldn't truly hate him.

I never really got into the habit of posting much about my ao3, or fics etc on here - or like making link ads etc - outside of the writing requests I got way back that are still up on this blog. Sneak peek from "A Brother Is a Brother (No Matter the War)"

The truth was... Zeldris missed his older brother. As much as he tried to ignore it, it was there like a deep ache in his bones. There was a void in his hearts that only seemed to grow with each passing day. The demon standing in front of him was no longer his brother, but when he spoke his name in that way, it was easy to forget. Hours ago, things would have been different. Now, it was harder to associate the burning hatred in his veins with the worried gaze and soft thumb brushing tears from his cheek. Meliodas had always been the one person who could make him feel safe in the castle, especially when Zeldris felt insecure and vulnerable. Zeldris had never felt more vulnerable than he did in that moment; poisoned and used.

He didn't want to abandon him or Elizabeth either. "...okay. I trust you."

SQH-SY siblings au for the ask game, please?

I'm pretty sure I wrote this after someone wrote a text post about the idea but idk if I would be able to track that down, or if it existed at all and I'm misremembering. Anyway, I didn't really have a set plot in mind after I wrote this short snippet other than it would be very funny for Shen Yuan to try and actively sabotague Shang Qinghua's efforts to become head disciple of An Ding while looking as innocent as possible. I don't think I'm going to write anymore for this idea as I have other wips I want to focus on but feel free anyone to write out their own interpretation! Anyways, here's what I wrote a few weeks back:

[ Activation code: “Dumbfuck author, dumbfuck novel.” System automatically triggered ]

What? What the fuck is this?

A woman then laughs above him,

He hears his older brother sniffle,

“Too bad you’ll probably never see me again in a few years.” he says, “I’ve gotta head to Cang Qiong and make my way up An Ding in the next few years.”

Hold on a second.

His older brother holds him tight against his chest, and from here he can feel his breath shudder.

“I’ve never had a sibling by blood before.”

He’s brought to his sibling’s bed and his brother lays next to him lazily.

“Just a few more years and you guys won’t have to see me again.” his brother says to noone, “They’re…surprisingly good parents, didi. Once they don’t have me to worry about, they can spoil you as much as you want.”

Geez, what kind of weird complex do you have?

Though. Shang surely is a common surname right? Lots of Shangs to go to An Ding!
