Fuck anyone who makes jokes about a crash that literally sent a driver to hospital.
Max's crash at Silverstone is the third most severe crash we've had in F1 in the past five years (most severe being Grosjean's in Bahrain 2020, followed by Zhou's in Silverstone 2022).
Additionally, the fact he was sent to the hospital at all is significant as Silverstone has its own medical facility on the grounds. It says everything that even as a precautionary measure, Max (+ Alex & Zhou the following year) was sent to the nearest hospital instead.
Do not for a single second take a driver walking away from a severe crash for granted. Sometimes, the miracles don't happen. Sometimes, a driver doesn't walk away unscathed. You do not want to be watching when the worst-case scenario becomes a real possibility, or worse; a reality.
If the like from Lando's dad is real... I have nothing else to say, from the bottom of my heart; FUCK YOU!

Had a dream that there was a show like House of Mouse but it starred all the tumblrsexyman just dining while watching clips and segments from each of their respective medias
Idk how to explain how I was just fine with this happening- to the point I was like “oh my favorite episode was when Reigen was hosting” as if it was SNL…

Warriors who knows he’s gorgeous and uses it to his advantage vs. Time who’s the most stunning man on the planet but completely unaware of it and is just absolutely oblivious to the fact that he gets hit on almost every single time he, Wars, and Twi go out for drinks because he honest to god just thinks people are being nice and friendly
and no matter how many times someone (Warriors) has been like “hey man, they were fucking flirting with you”, he is unable to recognize it the next time it happens. Warriors thinks he a lost cause, and Malon has definitely sat there more than once and watched someone hit on Time and shoot their shot, not realizing he’s married. and she just laughed her ass off because Time wouldn’t get the hint if it slapped him in the fucking face, bless his heart, and she’s had to go and rescue him because he just seriously cannot tell when people are hitting on him. He’s definitely embarrassed about it every single time it happens, but he just does not get it
is he smooth as fuck when HE’S flirting with his wife? absolutely. can he figure out when anyone is flirting with him? absolutely not.

So there’s something to be said about the age thing but what about the demonization? Dally gets the brunt of it when a good portion of the book is dedicated to pony going “oh he was my friend, he’s alright.” But a lot of people tend to act like he’s the literal anti christ.
Darry does get a lot of demonization/mischarecterization too but it’s definitely to a far lesser extent as people clarify more openly? I guess.
This isn’t me “defending his actions” (whatever that means because apparently to a lot of people that is just not thinking he’s irredeemable) just that his actions are blown out of the water to the point I don’t think people know what they’re mad at?
I think it stems from Dally being the coldest and meanest of the boys- he only breaks down in the end. He’s the most “bad boy” of a group of bad boys he breaks the law for fun etc. but this also goes into how a chunk of the fandom tends to ignore a lot of the gang do the same thing!
-> they get into fights, rob gas stations, get arrested, do drag races, harass and do wild shit against the rules or the law…. Sully the name of the good city but boy do they have fun.
All dally does is take things to their extreme as in the scene with Cherry you can see when it switches from flirting to harassment (giggling turns to anger)
Getting mad at him for this particularly but not the others feels almost hypocritical, pony talks about how if anyone else was there they would’ve joined in on cat calling and dirty talk (pony even admits himself but he has a stopping point. He teases girls he’s familar with)
Hell! This is ignoring Twobit in the movies “Hey baby, wanna see what’s hanging?” And lifting skirts.
I’m not saying this is an alright thing to do but I’m coming from the context of the time period normalizing certain behavior, character and place in the story. (Just because we know something doesn’t mean they do etc).
A lot of seems to be getting mad at a “bad boy” archetype for being a “bad boy” archetype and ignoring others behavior. Also something something charecters can’t be complex now have to have complete moral purity.
Now if you interpret this and lump me in with people glorifying his behavior because he’s hot please read this again. 😭🙏 I like him for what he is alright. He’s fascinating.

Anidala’s love can’t be summed up to them having an “adolescent like relationship” when it’s their very love that defined and saved a galaxy and lasted as long as it did. They’ve found “deep love” within one another and considered it the only “good thing” among all that was happening during the war. It may come off as childish to those who don’t grasp the theatrical appeal to it, but the narrative intention was never for them to be painted as “two dumb horny teens.” They were naive and young, yes. Both forced into adulthood too quickly, and were traumatized at a vulnerable age, yes. Neither of them got the chance to just be kids and have a childhood, all true. But again, that narratively isn’t connected to them falling in love and being each other’s safe place. That’s actually apart of their own individual development as independent characters. While we’re on this topic, they’re canonically both impulsive. And yet that’s only due to who they are as characters, and therefore isn’t a reason to latch onto to insist that they have an “immature” or “adolescent” relationship with one another.
