Tech Innovation in Defence: Exploring Opportunities and Risks for Stock Investors
Tumblr media
In today’s rapidly evolving world, technology is at the heart of every sector, including defence. The defence industry is no longer just about tanks and guns; it’s about cutting-edge innovations that enhance security, intelligence, and military capabilities. For stock investors, the marriage of technology and defence presents both exciting opportunities and unique risks.
In this blog, we will delve into the potential benefits and challenges of investing in defence stocks that are driven by technological advancements.
The Bright Side: Opportunities
Cybersecurity Advancements: With increased digitization, protecting sensitive data from cyber threats has become paramount. Companies specializing in cybersecurity offer valuable solutions to governments and military organizations, making them attractive investment prospects.
Unmanned Systems and Drones: Drones and unmanned vehicles are revolutionizing the way military operations are conducted. Investors can explore companies that develop these technologies for surveillance, reconnaissance, and even combat scenarios.
Artificial Intelligence (AI): AI is transforming defence strategies, from predicting enemy movements to analyzing vast amounts of data. Investing in AI-focused defence companies can lead to significant growth potential.
Communication and Connectivity: As military operations become more complex, seamless communication among troops is crucial. Companies providing advanced communication and networking solutions can offer promising investment avenues.
The Flips side: Risks
Regulatory Challenges: The defence industry operates under strict regulations due to national security concerns. Changes in regulations or export policies can impact companies’ abilities to sell their products internationally, affecting their stock values.
Technological Risks: Investing in cutting-edge technologies comes with the risk of rapid obsolescence. A company might pour resources into developing a technology that becomes outdated sooner than expected, leading to financial losses.
Budget Dependence: Defence budgets are subject to political decisions and economic conditions. Reductions in defence spending can directly impact the revenues of companies operating in the sector.
Geopolitical Uncertainty: Defence companies often operate across borders. Geopolitical tensions and conflicts can disrupt supply chains, contracts, and international partnerships, affecting stock performance.
Tips for Investors
Diversification: Spread your investments across multiple defence companies to mitigate the risks associated with individual stock performance.
Research and Due Diligence: Thoroughly research companies’ technological capabilities, contracts, financial health, and track records before making investment decisions.
Long-Term Perspective: Defence technology adoption can be a slow process due to rigorous testing and regulatory hurdles. Investors should have a patient, long-term perspective.
Stay Informed: Keep up with advancements in defence technology, geopolitical developments, and regulatory changes that could impact the sector.
Also, Get a quick view of Defence sector performance in real time with the Defence sector heatmap. The Defence sector heatmap provides a dynamic view of gaining and losing stocks in the Defence sector
Conclusion
Investing in defence sector stocks driven by technology offers an enticing mix of potential rewards and risks. By weighing the opportunities against the challenges and staying attuned to market trends, investors can position themselves for potential success in this ever-evolving sector.

This 9-syllable, 7-word long utterance - because it can NOT, according to what little I remember about what dictates one, be called a phrase - has been rolling around in my head since I first heard it-
A FUCKING WEEK AGO? IT'S BEEN THAT LONG? Shit well yeah it's been in my head for a week, jesus
Since I heard it from Brennan Lee Mulligan's mouth. And I'm warning you now it is not profound, it is not emotional, it is not especially important to the story, it doesn't have any sort of profound message or life-changing lesson. But still it persists at the forefront of my mind.
And this may just be a result of it being the only thing I've thought about for A WEEK, apparently, but I think it might be one of, if not the best, line I've ever heard and it is
"A face as tall as a cathedral..."
THATS IT
And let me tell anyone who gives a shit why I think it is, at least, one of the best lines I've ever heard:
I get envious of other writers and creators a lot. I envy worldbuilding ideas, and character concepts, cool lines of dialogue. "Oh I wish I'd thought of that!"
But I envy nothing more than GREAT description, and this line is perfect to me.
1. It is Novel. When common/frequently-used idioms or similes enter a person's mind it's sort of in-one-ear and out the other, right? 'Clear as crystal' or 'as blue as the sky' can feel like stock. So if you want description to stick it has to be novel. And I've never heard this line, or even this simile before.
2. But also, perhaps more importantly, the line is also Simple. Sometimes, in the pursuit of novelty, writers (cough aka me cough) will go too hard on a description and it can become convoluted and have the same effect as stock phrases. It's too much text, it's too purple-y and so your mind scans the wall of text, takes the important bits, and says 'ok this is the point they were trying to get to'. Simple + Novel is great for description, esp. Description that sticks in your head.
3. But it is still Beautiful. Now this point is flawed, personal, and pretty vain but I'm keeping it because 'Cathedral' is a beautiful word. Even just phonologically it is (imo) more beautiful than the words 'mountain', 'house', or any other tall thing you could slot in there. But also a cathedral IS beautiful and it HAS beautiful connotations to religion, divinity, and worship (which makes this description even better when you know what it's referring to, but I'm trying to say it stands on its own merit as a good description).
4. But of course none of this would work without the fact that it is Descriptive. Maybe this should've been the first point but I came up with them in this order so what are you gonna do. Obviously good description should be descriptive, and these points all help in that, but there are details that are just down to pure good description. This specific point is relative but I rarely see mountains, and combine that with how they are sorta unfathomably tall, I struggle to really conceive of their size. I see cathedrals all the time (again, this is relative, I live in a Catholic area in a Christian country), I can always see their tops from the ground, their size is fathomable and it is terrifying to imagine a FACE at that height. Speaking of which, IT'S JUST THE FACE. There is something perfect and so much more comprehensible than a "body the size of a skyscraper" in the idea of just one PORTION of a body being described as a similar height.
Anyway EXU: Calamity is fucking great and I'm going to be holding it in my mind forever

What Is Your Defence In?
What is your defence in? This is a question every one of us must ask and answer. Another way to ask this is, what do you boast in? What makes you feel superior or inferior to others? It’s time to consider if we see others as we see ourselves.
We are still reeling from the senseless attack that sadly led to the loss of the lives of three young girls who had their entire futures ahead of them. My thoughts and prayers go out to their families and others who are still recovering from the physical and psychological trauma of the attack. Unfortunately, the attention, prayers, love and support that should have been directed to the victims…

Sector Analysis: Defense vs. PSU Stocks in the Current Market
Tumblr media
The two hot sectors in the current market are Defense and PSU. Many investors want to invest in them but they are unsure if it is late to jump the boat. The stocks from this sector have been strong performers in the recent quarters. Let us look at them individually to help you decide what you should do.
PSU Stocks
Government Reforms: The government is undertaking various reforms to improve the efficiency and profitability of PSUs. These reforms, if successful, could lead to improved financial performance and higher valuations.
Dividend Yield: PSU stocks are known for offering attractive dividend yields, making them appealing to income-oriented investors.
Valuation: PSU stocks might be relatively less expensive compared to some private sector companies, offering potential value investment opportunities.
Defense Stocks
Growth Potential: The Indian government's focus on modernization and self-reliance in defense has led to increased allocation for defense spending. This presents a significant growth opportunity for domestic defense companies.
Order Book Visibility: Many defense PSUs have healthy order books with confirmed orders from the government, providing revenue visibility for the near future.
Valuation: While defense stocks have appreciated considerably, some analysts believe they still have room for growth compared to their future earnings potential.
Here is the comparison for a better understanding:
Tumblr media
To sum up, it is not easy to go and randomly pick stocks for long term from these sectors even though the chances of these sectors doing well in the future are high. You need to pick stocks based on your investment horizon, and risk tolerance, and try to diversify your portfolio.  both defense and PSU sectors have their own set of risks and rewards. You should be pro at evaluating the risks and rewards or use the best stock market app to create a winning portfolio.

A/N : Dude this was supposed to be just a two part story 😭 Lmao be ready for a mini series folks!
Summary : You have pursued Lando's affection, yet he doesn't seem interested. Till your patience wavers and Lando realizes it too late. Will there be a right time for the two of you?
Masterlist
< Previous Next >
Lando was used to being at the top of the world. To be always at the fastest speed possible. He was hard-wired to be quick both on track and off track, his pace in life had never had the chance to just slow down and appreciate the small things in life.
Until he lost you. Lando had never noticed how big of an impact you’ve made in his life. The small gestures you made that went unnoticed till it was gone. The minuscule moments with you that seemed to be irrelevant, Lando now craved.
It started with tea and snacks.
“Uh, John… the tea tastes weird. Also, I liked the old biscuits better, why did you change them?” Lando said disappointed, as he examined what was in front of him. The tea was way off like it was watered down yet still unbelievably bitter. And the biscuits… Lando couldn’t explain it really, it just felt like it lacked … love. If that made sense
Lando then set his eyes on his manager, still disgruntled.
John popped his head into the driver’s room, surveying what the Brit was moaning about.
“Oh, that. Yeah, Y/N stopped sending stocks of the tea … last race was our last batch and when Y/N came by she didn’t drop off any cookies for you this time” John answered, sending a rueful smile.
Lando’s attention was suddenly caught at the sound of your name. You were the one who sent the tea? Lando had always thought that McLaren was the one to make the effort to supply his favorite tea.
Now the knowledge that it was you, made his heart speed up and his stomach fluttered— but then it came crashing down like a glass house instantly when Lando realized past tense… it was past tensed. You no longer did that for him.
“Wait. What do you mean by not dropping any for me? Did Y/N give her cookies to someone here?” Lando had fully processed what John had said.
“Yeah, I saw her come by early this morning with cookies in the lobby and Oscar came to get her” John uttered casually as he checked his schedule looking through Lando’s calendar.
Lando’s heart then fell to his stomach. The worst suddenly came into his mind. You and Oscar? When did that happen? He knew that he was jumping to conclusions, but he couldn’t help it. He may have been blind to your beauty and brilliance, but he knew that others were not. How can they not? You were the sunshine in the storm. You were a breath of fresh air in the ethanol-tainted atmosphere of Formula 1.
Then came the overly silent or the overly deafening car rides, there was no in-between—the peace was gone. It was either no sound at all or it was EDM booming in his speakers. You were no longer there to provide a sense of calm, Lando had deeply and truly felt the emptiness that your absence left.
He regretted complaining to Flo and his parents when they insisted that he gave you rides everywhere. Was he an idiot? He thought so now, especially when he recalled always saying “She can handle herself, why do I need to drive her?” Because now he would give anything to have you sitting on the passenger seat of his car. He used to hate it when you left your hair ties or claw clips in his car, now your hair ties resided in his arm like a bracelet and your hair clips in his bag— just in case you needed them.
Lando knew that the longer he waited the faster he’d continue to lose you and he saw his chance. The post-race interviews had concluded and Lando was in his car, reversing out of the driver’s only parking lot. Then he saw you typing away at your phone beside the door that connects the building and the parking spaces. Lando saw his opportunity.
The English driver hastily drove his car in front of you, parking beside the curb and making his way towards you.
Your eyes opened wide at the sight of Lando Norris right in front of you, looking fidgety and uncertain, but he looked determined. You didn’t know what to do or react, so you waited for him to start.
“Y/N! Hi. I didn’t see you in the Motorhome after the race” Lando started talking trying to act as casual as his speeding heart could muster.
“ Uhm, Hi Lando. Yeah… I had to finish some paperwork back at Sky ASAP. “ You replied, smiling lightly at the driver not having the courage to fully look into his eyes head-on for the entire conversation.
“ I get that. Are you heading somewhere? I could drive you if you’d like” Lando offered earnestly, hoping that you’ll accept. He just needed time alone with you to talk without restrictions.
Lando gauged your reaction that cycled around, shock and contemplation. Till you sighed and declined, distinguishing his hope and continuing to crush his heart.
“Thank you for the offer, Lando. But, Osc already promised me a ride” You gave a pained smile at the English driver. Lando was about to refute when the both of you turned towards the sound of a car horn.
It was Oscar who was waving inside his Artura.
“ I got to go, It was nice talking to you Lando,” you said as you proceeded to walk towards the car, not before being stopped by Lando.
Your eyes went towards the hand that held your elbow gently. You then met the sorrowful eyes of the English McLaren driver, catching you off guard.
“Y/N can we please talk? Sometime maybe? I’m sorry … I- I. Please I just need a few minutes of your time” Lando was practically begging you, his eyes showing more emotion now than the entire duration you’ve known him.
You could only nod, as you detached yourself from the grip of Lando — looking at the defeated driver one last time before entering his teammate’s car right after.
“You know that Lando wants to fix things with you right?” Oscar nudged your shoulder as he drove away from the circuit.
You could only sigh and close your eyes, your hand running through your hair.
“ Osc, I wished I could believe you. It just hurts so much you know? I mean you saw him with Magui right… I don’t want to step on any toes and make things complicated for them” You said tired and frustrated. Lando was already too hard to let go, now he’s making it extremely difficult to forget.
“Y/N, have you seen her in the paddock recently?” Oscar questioned you further
“Well, no. But that doesn’t mean they’re over. Alex even said that she heard from Kika that they’re planning to make it serious.” You felt the tears build up, yet you fought it back. You would no longer cry for a boy if you could help it.
“Ok, you out of all people should know what’s credible information or not. Miss journalism, what happened to never fully believing he said - she said?” Oscar was right of course, you loved and hated his logical thinking.
“I know, I know. It’s just so fucking frustrating… can we please eat ice cream. I need sugar pronto!”
“Whatever you say, Pooh” You couldn’t help but smile a little at your nickname given by the Australian driver.
“Thanks, Pingu,” You said settling further into Oscar’s car. You knew that Oscar allowed you to change the subject but you got what he was saying. Talk to Lando, you will! You didn’t know if you were ready just yet.
That was the start of Lando’s starvation for your presence and the start of his spiral of doubt and regret. Because no matter how much he tried, you seemed adamant to avoid him.
“Beautiful” came into Lando’s mind when he saw you from afar. Every time that you walked passed through, the smell of you lingered in the air — was it your perfume or your shampoo? Lando was not sure, but he loved it nonetheless. Every time you waltzed inside the McLaren Motor home to hang out with his teammate, Lando couldn’t help but imagine it was him that you were with, that it was him that you were smiling and rolling your eyes at. Lando wanted back how you used to have that look only for him.
He couldn’t help but stop and stare longingly for what might’ve been if he hadn’t taken too long.
The times when you were shown in the broadcast during the races — when he knew that he was supposed to be locked in and be focused on the track. Lando can’t seem to take his eyes off you.
His parents and sister noticed the change in the driver and they could only look with pity to their son and brother. It seemed that the tables had turned because now it was you who avoided the English Driver at all costs. Every time Lando caught a glimpse of you, you were suddenly turning the other way or you were suddenly busy with who knows what. And the Norrises didn’t hold it against you— No, because they loved you still and they supported your every decision.
Lando couldn’t stand the fact that he could only get you to look and talk to him during after-race interviews in the media pen and even then you remained detached and so excruciatingly professional — you no longer joked around and teased the McLaren driver. And it killed him when he saw you so carefree and open to other drivers.
“So Lando, that was an amazing drive! Congratulations on the P2 by the way. McLaren is showing amazing and consistent results so far, I bet the team feels proud no? And the car has been quick at every track!” Y/N said into the mic with a practiced tone and just the right amount of enthusiasm — just enough for the media and the world not to notice the tension between you and Lando.
Being indifferent was difficult, especially when Lando continued to gauge your attention and tried catching your eyes. And behind those eyes held promise and regret… which you only believed was in your imagination. You always thought some things present that weren’t there, and this one was only one of them.
You didn’t think that Lando was trying his best to make things up to you. No, now to you that seemed impossible. Just keep your distance and everything will be alright and your feelings will pass. Or that was what you keep telling yourself.
“Just the car?” Lando cheekily uttered, biting his lip from nervousness as he tried to make you react or at least get you to joke back. But to his dismay, you remained professional and just proceeded with the calm and cool facade.
“Oh, the driver too of course. Anyways, are you feeling optimistic about the next race?” You said to read your question cards, not give anything to Lando.
To Lando’s dismay, your interaction was still not enough but he had to move on as another driver was waiting for their turn. Lando had tried to lengthen his time with you but his PR manager needed to drag him elsewhere. But not quick enough that Lando caught the ears of your next interview.
It was with surprise, surprise… Oscar Piastri. Lando knew that he shouldn’t be thinking negatively about one of his teammates — a teammate who had never done him wrong. Was he being paranoid? He absolutely was. However, Lando despised how his teammate casually called you by your nickname while you giggled and called him by his.
“Ah~ Pooh! Always a pleasure to see you every race week…. every. single. week”
“Thanks for the sarcasm, Pingu” You continued to banter with the Austrian driver clad in papaya.
***
Another race week came and you were walking outside the Motorhome of McLaren with Oscar in tow, you were both headed towards Ferrari to meet up with the rest of the Leclerc family— Oscar pleaded to join as he said he was an adopted Leclerc. As you walked out the glass door, you felt eyes following your every move. You told this to Oscar, who only shrugged and was clueless as usual.
However, your instincts were right of course, as Lando continued to observe your retreating form. Since when did you start getting comfortable enough to loop your hand around Oscar’s waist? And since when did you let Oscar wrap his arm around your shoulder?
The sinking feeling in Lando’s gut continued to deepen. It felt like a ton of bricks right on his chest, so heavy he couldn’t breathe. Was this how you felt when you saw him with other girls? Was this the same feeling you had when he paraded his monthly flings right in front of you? Did he hurt you this much?
He was so preoccupied with thoughts that Lando didn’t notice the events around him then suddenly he was moving with the rest of the drivers in the parade car. The rest were paired up, doing their usual routine of gossiping and catching up.
Lando’s eyes surveyed the vehicle as his eyes turned to his teammate talking with Logan and Alex. His eyes then turned to Lewis talking with Charles, a few steps away from him.
“Mate, is it true? Is Y/N seeing someone?” Lewis couldn’t help but gossip and hear the details of their favorite presenter.
“I’m not sure, but my girl told me that another driver was showing interest in Y/N!” Charles eagerly joined Lewis in this conversation.
As Lando eavesdropped on the 2 Future teammates, his ears piqued when he heard your name. Then his breath staggered and his ears rang when he heard what the 2 race winners said.
Lando didn’t care if he was rude, as he barged into their conversation with a huff.
“Who is it? It’s Oscar right?” Lando pressingly asked as his jaw clenched, teeth gritting with force a glare piercing the Australian.
Both drivers were surprised by Lando’s suddenly intense intrusion. They were even more perplexed at his sudden interest in you. When did Lando start caring about you?
“Uh, no? I asked Alexandra if it was Oscar since they have been close these days… but she said it was another driver” Charles answered
It was then that Lando admitted fully that he was a jealous man, seeing or even just thinking of you interacting with another man that held an interest in you made his blood curdle.
Lando needed to do something and fast. Even If you weren’t talking to him now, he needed others to know that you were off limits. Lando knew just how to do that.
He took his phone and dialed
“John set me an appointment with Hermes. I need an order for a customized Birkin”

“i’m looking for a man in finanace, with a trust fund, 6’5, blue eyes”
⤷ so here’s financebro!gojo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
satoru had a routine, and never strayed from it. he always had time for the gym in the morning, made it to the cafe down the road before it got busy, and smoked a cigarette on his break.
he was one of many young, and handsome financiers that pranced the city in the finest suits, adorned with high end watches and a slick smile to pull it off.
women were the least of his worries, and he has the body count to prove it…….in his defence good sex comes from experience, how you choose to label him was your business.
can you tell his coworkers hate to love him?
especially after he closed that one multi-million dollar deal by telling his client that’s he’d catch a drink with her after work.
satoru likes women who don’t like him.
and though that may sound confusing at first, he was willing to die on this hill.
his charm consistently got him in trouble, from messing with best friends to ex-wives, no one was off limits. if he wanted someone he’d have them, at any costs.
that’s where the attraction stems from, the chase. satoru deemed it “the best part” when making advances. he loves when a woman differs from the rest that’d normally be begging him to take them home within an hour of meeting him.
it’s a fun little game that starts with a simple approach, like insistently buying a drink, that brews into small talk where he can gauge her interest.
the more uninterested she is, the more it turns him on.
he has it all: the money, the looks, the style, the job, in his eyes anyone would be an idiot to turn him down.
so when little miss hard to get declined his offer to get to know her, it just makes him need her that much more.
he likes when girls think they have a good read on him, making it easier to flip the narrative into winning her over with the “mr. nice guy” trope.
not even an hour later he usually has that once independent, stern girl begging him to fuck her harder while her manicure claws at his navy sheets.
stock picking is his form of aftercare and usually it comes with a walk of shame to an uber black and starbucks gift card the next morning.

Share Markets are believing to be in consolidation from this level
Introduction: Market experts suggest that the current bottom of 17,000 on the Nifty50 index appears to be strong, and there is a possibility of consolidation from this level. If the index continues to bounce from this level, it could indicate an upside and activate bullish counts on point-and-figure charts up to 17,800–18,000. However, they are also cautioning that there are still some downside counts open to 16,500, so it would be wise to be aware of this possibility if the price falls below 17,000. Furthermore, they suggest that there are opportunities in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, defence, and banking sectors. They also said to note that some stocks in these sectors are performing well, outperforming the major indices, and displaying a strong trend. Experts View about the current situation in Nifty 50 stocks: Market experts suggest that the Nifty index has reached a strong bottom at 17,000 based on various indicators. They note that the current uptrend is the fourth corrective move and has seen the same amount of upside so far, but has bounced from the previous demand area, indicating a strong bottom has been formed. Furthermore, they mentioned that the number of stocks above the 200-day moving average in the Nifty50 has increased in the last 15 days, and more than half of the stocks are in a bullish swing according to P&F charts. They suggest that if there is a follow-through action to the current bounce, it might then indicate an upside and, adding to it, activate bullish counts on P&F charts for the levels up to 17,800–18,000. However, they also note that there are some downside counts open to 16,500, and until these bearish counts are negated and bullish counts are formed, the trend is still bearish. They advise traders to be aware of this possibility while deciding on strategies. Lastly, they also mention that Nifty is still underperforming against other major asset classes such as bonds, currencies, and gold, and for a meaningful upside, this picture must change. Experts View on the Comparison of the Price Movement of the Bank Nifty to the Nifty50: Market experts compare the price movement of the Bank Nifty to the Nifty 50 and note that both have corrected by 10 to 12 percent. However, they also mention that in the short term, the Bank Nifty is outperforming the market. They also further note that all stocks in the Bank Nifty are in the bullish column in the P&F chart, indicating bullish swings, whereas only about half of the stocks in the Nifty are in bullish swings. This suggests that more stocks have turned bullish in Bank Nifty. Additionally, they also mentioned that they track breadth indicators closely, as the number of stocks participating in a trend is usually a leading indicator. However, they also caution that there are stiff resistances on the higher side, which means that there is a possibility of short-term consolidation in the Bank Nifty. Experts view on the importance of and some useful information about the Noiseless Chart part (Points and Figures): According to a few market experts, they say that they learned early in their careers that seeking consensus in the market is not the path to success. They began exploring lesser-known methods and stumbled upon noiseless charts, such as P&F, Renko, line-break, and Kagi charts, which take only price into account and eliminate noise from the data. These charts can reveal hidden price patterns and provide important information regarding trend and pattern. Price analysis, indicators, and strategies in technical analysis are applicable to these charting methods, making studies more effective and resulting in a significant increase in trade productivity. They also believe that those who have not learned about or understood these techniques are missing out on something valuable when it comes to trading. Experts View on the Nifty IT Sector: Market experts are expressing caution and uncertainty regarding the current state of the market. While some stocks may be trading at support levels, there is no concrete evidence that the market has bottomed out yet. The IT index has shown a higher bottom, but it is not yet bullish, indicating that other sectors may be performing better. They also suggest that the confirmation of a bullish double bottom pattern in the IT sector's relative strength chart would be a useful tool to confirm a support pattern, but it has not yet occurred. Experts view on Adani Group stocks: Market experts believe that Adani Group stocks are known for their high volatility and that traders who have a well-defined strategy in place for entering and exiting trades and managing risks may find opportunities to benefit from trading these stocks. However, they also suggest that these stocks are not suitable for newcomers or traders who base their decisions on news or intuition, as they may make emotional trades in these situations. Therefore, traders who have experience and discipline in their approach may consider trading Adani Group stocks, while those who lack experience or a sound trading strategy should avoid them. Experts view on sectors for investment: Some market experts are actively seeking trading opportunities in three sectors: healthcare and pharmaceuticals, defence, and banking. They have identified some stocks in these sectors that are looking promising and noted that these sectors are currently outperforming the broader market indices and exhibiting a strong trend. They also believe that focusing on leading stocks within these sectors is a sound strategy, as it can offer a favourable risk-reward ratio, provided that the overall trend of the market (as represented by the Nifty index) is not bearish. However, they also warn that many traders make the mistake of not considering the broader market trend while selecting trades, which can lead to poor performance. Conclusion: Markets experts say that currently they are expecting the possibility of consolidation in the market, and the current bottom of 17,000 on the Nifty50 index appears to be strong. In short, they suggest that it is a good time to enter the market and suggest investing in sectors like healthcare and pharmaceuticals, defence, and banking as they are actively seeking trading opportunities in these three sectors, but without having a demat account you cannot invest in these sectors. So, here is an opportunity to open your demat and trading accounts with Libord Brokerage Pvt Ltd and start investing in these sectors during this correction period in this market. On the stocks of IT and Adani Group, they believe that although the IT sector has made bottom, there are no signs of going up from here, and on Adani Stocks, they have suggested that new traders and investors should stay away for the present situation. So, overall, other than IT and Adani Group, investors should start investing in sectors like healthcare and pharmaceuticals, defence, and banking and generate a good return in their portfolio.

I've been trying to figure out Jon Matteson Character Family Tree theory
after all of my limited research, here's what I've come up with:
Tumblr media
Wallace is using his military powers to keep Lumberaxe hidden.
Richie is unhelpful to this cause and once told Pete "did you know my second cousin is the hatchetfield axe man."
'Uncle Paul' drives Gary's kids to school. One day they got in the car and there was a whole seven year old child back there also calling him 'Uncle Paul.'
Also Paul's been offering the kids money in exchange for dirt on Ted.
Gary knows one of his kids likes anime and the other likes superheroes but he can't really tell the difference. Paul has seen one episode of sailor moon and thinks he knows everything ("who do you kin? Who do you ship? You know who I kin? ... you.")
Gary also went out of his way to join the Wiggly cult because he knew it would piss off Jerry.
Daniel is surprisingly close with his cousin Wallace. It turns out having psychic abilities can be really useful to the Secretary of Defence.
Also Daniels been buying a lot of stuff recently with money that came from...the 'stock market.' He got himself some new roller blades and got Richie some anime pillows. Gary pretends not to notice but already is writing up a case for Daniel incase he gets in trouble.
Aunt Emma has secretly been buying Richie blue hair dye for like a year. Gary has no idea where it's all coming from, but he keeps finding the empty boxes and Richie's been wearing a lot of hats recently.
(Which really confuses him because he never told Richie he couldn't dye his hair.)

Have you been to a teppanyaki restaurant lately? It's a fancy Japanese word that means, essentially, "fried on a metal plate." You go in there, you pay your money, and some dude does a bunch of corny jokes while frying your food right in front of you. Whole thing is a lot of fun, and you leave smelling like a barbecue just happened in your lap.
This sort of interaction between worker and customer is missing from many of our Western businesses. Things are just not fun. Nobody at McDonalds will flip a shrimp into her hat while cracking a joke about the stock market. When you get your car fixed, the team of mechanics doesn't build a flaming PB Blaster volcano to loosen the busted lower ball joint for your entertainment. And when you get someone to do your taxes, the lady they have working there takes one look at your box full of greasy parts-store receipts and just cries a whole lot, over and over, until the manager comes out and asks you to leave.
I figured it was time to change things up. Rather than ask already-overworked and heavily-underpaid workers to add an additional piece of unnecessary and annoying customer interaction to their plate, I wisely decided it would be best to ease everyone into it. Luckily for me, my general geographic area contains a very popular clown college. Thanks to recent maybe-errors in immigration policy, this school has over three thousand students at the moment, all learning the ins and outs of clownery and begging for a job, any job. And – unlike actual comedians – they don't get all froggy if you throw two dozen of them into a car and go driving around town, dropping them off at every business who won't pay our very reasonable "dismissal fee."
Friends, I'll be the first to admit that I fucked this one up, big time. I had absolutely no idea that clown makeup was flammable, or that their extensive bozo education did not include knowledge on safe food prep. That's just what happened at the A&W, which would have been bad enough if not for all the other stuff that happened. You've heard the rest of the defence from my team of attorneys, but I wanted you to hear it from me personally. If anyone has learned his lesson about employing clowns to blow up and then pop a balloon animal for laughs while standing next to the police bomb squad, it's me.

knee socks - carmen berzatto x waitress reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: four discoveries come about your and carmens secret relationship; he’s very into knee socks, you’re acquainted with a staff member he has a tricky relationship with, he can be possessive and weirdly enough he likes being called daddy?
Tumblr media
You’d stayed back last night to help Carmen, despite the raging headache that had caused you to have to take a 30 minute break from waiting tables just to rest your head. Carmen appreciated that, and was not shy in showing you. Once he’d insured everyone had gone home for the night, doors locked and safety measures taken care of, he had come into the office and kissed you softly, before walking you to your apartment. Where things had escalated, resulting in you falling asleep stuffed and sated and Carmy going home with a pair of your panties.
Today however you felt refreshed, you’d woken up at the crack of dawn, showered, threw on your uniform and decided you’d wear a pair of knee socks due to the cold fall weather. You arrived to the usual chaos of The bear, Tina and Sydney getting started on prep, Marcus unloading the batter he’d made the night before and Richie barking orders at your fellow waitstaff about today’s schedule. Carmy however wasn’t anywhere to be seen, so you assumed he was in his office going over stock orders or doing payroll.
“Hey, you look pretty good this morning princess” Rich or Richie to everyone else, whispers into your ears.
“Don’t be gross Rich.” You mumble, grabbing your apron and tying it around your waist as he mockingly smiled back at you.
“Damn can’t even give out compliments anymore.” He throws his hands up in mock self defence.
Your and Richie’s relationship was simple, he was a longtime friend of your brothers and had always been mockingly flirty and playful with you, occasionally you’d reciprocate the flirtyness but it was all in good fun. Carmy however hated it, so much so that he’d ensure he did his best to put a distance between you two most of the time.
As the day went on Carmen would make subtle appearances from the office, coming into the kitchen to help Sydney with recipes she was working on, answering some of Tina’s questions, giving Marcus the green-light on some new dessert ideas, the works. But what you noticed from these appearances were the glances he kept making towards you, or specifically towards your legs. Until it finally hit you, it was the knee socks.
-
Carmen couldn’t think straight with the way you were just casually waiting tables while looking like a goddess. Your uniform clung so nicely to your body, your smile ever so bright and those god damned knee socks. He was convinced you were trying to send him into cardiac arrest. He’d never even known he had a thing for those until today and he wasn’t about to let them go to waste.

You busy right now?
you
Kinda, why?
carmen 🐻
Need your help in the office, now.
you
Alright, coming
-
"Hi" you smiled shyly, walking up to his desk and taking a seat on one of the chairs opposite his desk.
"Come 'ere " he says lowly, beckoning you forward with two fingers. You slowly get out of the chair and make your way behind the desk to his side.
"Hi, again" you say as you look down at him, with a sweet smile on your face.
"Hey, feelin' any better, since last night?" He questions as he turns his chair to face you and pulls you in between his legs, his hands holding your hips in place.
"Y-yeah a little, thank you by the way" you reply softly, flustered by the touch he was so lovingly giving you.
"Your welcome, just wanted to make sure you were alright, it was so worth it" he smiled as his hands began to roam, up and down your hips.
"Wh- why was it worth it?" You reply, voice barely above a whisper, as you look down at him though your lashes.
"I got to kiss you, touch you, and keep your panties" he smirked at the last part, knowing it was going to annoy you.
"Thanks for reminding me to kick you for that by the way." You playfully swat his shoulder and he fakes a pout. You began laughing at him.
"What?" He asks, curiously.
"Nothing" you smile as you lift your hands to play with his hair.
"No tell me" he insists, as he squeezes your hips and pulls you down, to straddle him.
"Mmm, it's just I didn't expect you to be such a softie" you smile as you move down on him a little harder, to feel his crotch.
"Of fuck- I" he tries talking but the feeling of you pressed down against him is too much.
"Fuck-“ he says your name “you're gonna kill me" he replies as he pushes his hips against you and you feel his hard on.
“These knee socks have been killing me all day, did you wear em just f’me?” He grunts the last part.
“I did, wanted to impress you.” You smile, wiggling into him.
“It worked, I’m fuckin impressed and so hard f’you.” He smiles into a kiss he plants on your lips.
"I want you now, please daddy" you weren't sure where the 'daddy' came from, but honestly you didn’t care at this point, you needed him. His eyes widen and you're pretty sure you feel him get even harder once the word leaves your mouth.
"I'm your daddy?" He questions you with a smirk on his face.
"Ye-yeah, daddy" you whispered as you continue to grind down on him.
"That's right, I'm your daddy, keep grinding on your daddy till you cum" he groans, face all red.
"Mmmm" you whisper against his neck as you continue. Just as you feel him moving to reposition you, the phone in his office begins to ring. You look up at him and he shakes his head.
"Leave it, keep goin" he groans as he pulls you down, once more. You're so close to your climax when the phone rings again.
"Mmm, just answer it" you groan as you attempt to get off him, he however pulls you back down and answers the phone.
"What?"
"Ok, and?"
"Fine"
"I'll send her in"
He slams the phone back down and kisses you hungrily once more. You oblige and bring your hands up to his hair.
"Who was it?" You ask, pulling back from the kiss.
"Dumbass Richie, he wants to see you, claims one the regulars is here and only you can help him service them" he spits, you can tell he’s annoyed by Richie’s interruption.
"Rich’s always been quite the mood stealer" you smile, as he kisses your neck lightly.
"Rich?" He questions as he pulls back from your neck and looks up at you.
"Yeah, Rich?" You reply confused, had you said the wrong thing?
"Why the fuck, do you call him that?" He asks angrily, as he lets go of your waist. Alright so Carmy’s moods did always change quickly, noted.
"He's a family friend, I've known him since I was like 18 he's like a brother to me, at-least that's how I feel about him." You reply, whilst putting his hands back on your waist.
"Alright then, Good" he says refusing to smile.
"Why the long face, hmmm?" You question as you smile at him.
"I don't want anyone else to have you, I'm territorial, possessive, I don't know call it what you want but you're mine now and I don't need anyone getting in the way of that" he smirks.
"Mmmm, I just loveeee being owned by men, it's so empowering" you say sarcastically.
"I don't mean it in that way, you know that" says Carmy quickly, afraid you misunderstood him.
"I'm just fucking with you, and this may sound a bit anti-feminist, but I like the thought of belonging to you" you whisper into his ear, leaving him groaning.
"Alright we'll, Rich’s waiting for me, bye Carmy" you say as you try to get off of him. His grip however is too strong and he manages to pull you back down.
"I want to take you out for dinner tomorrow night, somewhere nice but chill ,not too fancy." He says shyly.
"I- I would love too, also not too fancy? this doesn't sound like Michelin star chef Carmen Berzatto" you joke, and he simply smiles at you. He finally let's you out of his grip and you give him a sweet peck, before making your way to the door. Before you can leave the office he calls out to you.
"Wear something pretty ok?"
You turn around and smile at him before replying with poise, "only for daddy"
