Champion of Kaon, Decepticon Leader; Introduction
It's come to my attention that I've yet to make an introductory post for this sideblog.
This is not a roleplay blog. I am a part of a OSDD system. Perhaps I could be considered a sort of co-host, in technicality.
I'm Megatron, and you may refer to me as such. I am primarily from the Transformers: Prime continuity- although I'm not only adhered to that source alone. My ideals from my sources are consistent with my ideals currently.
My strengths are continually as similar as they can come. I value myself as a competent leader, who archives greatness through persistent unyielding efforts.
This sideblog is to simply express myself on some degree, so to speak.
There is no standard for who can or cannot interact- save for limiting personal interactions with those who are underage, as bodily I am a legal adult. Anyone else who I find obnoxious or ignorant can be blocked if I care enough to do so.
All of that being said, my DMs and Inbox are open.

I am Soundwave, any of the Decepticons can interact but Starscream is on thin ice. I am 21, so keep this in mind, I would prefer no minors. My account is @wavess-of-sound

An unexpected spark.
Tag: @heiress-prime
Summary: Your relationship with Optimus is... Complicated. Between the adjustment to life on a new planet and saving your asses from the Decepticons, there was only so much you could handle. And having Optimus' kin had not been on that list for either of you.
Cw: Pregnancy, minor injury, implied sexual encounters, Femme reader. Optimus doesn't have the software update for dadification. Italics for past conversation.
Your relationship with Optimus is... Complicated. Purely for the fact that being sparkmates with a Prime is exactly how you'd expect it to be.
Yes, Optimus had grown more intimate when you finally decided to stop dancing around each other's afts. Optimus was used to the way of the Prime, so it wasn't in his routine quite yet to acknowledge you romantically. Occasionally when you got some alone time he'd press his helm to yours and remind you how much he appreciated you for sticking by him.
Optimus cares about you, he does. He cares about you to the point that If you didn't contribute so much to the team and were few in numbers he may have yoinked you off the field for good.
He hates seeing you come back dinged up with scratches glaring in your paint. He hates that exhausted look and he wishes he could keep you safe.
You knew this, nudging him with your field and smiling softly at him from across the room, excited and lighting up like a puppy when his EM field would brush you back.
You'd sit and have your Energon in the morning together. In the past couple weeks Optimus had noticed the rate at which you had Energon had been increasing. You just found yourself thirsty a lot.
Optimus would tell you to go easy, you only had so much supply after all. It eased the aches you felt after spending the night curled up next to him.
Optimus left you satisfied. You knew it would be a difficult relationship, if not for his duties as Prime, but your survival.
And you were no stranger to a recon mission, driving down the open Nevada road and taking in the dirt and grime under your tires. Optimus had given you coordinates to an emerging supply with a light squeeze of your shoulder and a loving gaze only he could pull off.
It was nice to spend time away. At least you didn't have to drag one of the kids with you. The children were so interesting. At least, earth children were.
They were always full of energy, they always asked questions and wanted to be around and play with you. It made you chuckle a little.
Your drive down the road led you to a discarded backroad into the Nevada hills. You shifted your tire and diverted from the pavement off into the trees.
The constant ping from your interior leading the way.
You felt, in a sense, pent up. The way your back struts strained despite being tucked up into the carriage of your car. You could have chalked it up to your latest intimate night with Optimus.
Usually, you shake off the aches in a day or two. Optimus was the kind of 'bot who made up for his less-than-constant intimacy strings with an all-nighter that left you unable to move for the week following.
The weeks prior you had been more sensitive than usual, which Optimus had noticed. It left you both unable to find any time for intimacy because when you got to that point, you just couldn't handle it. But he was gentle.
"Easy, am I hurting you??"
Your servos gripped onto the plates of his forearm, your expression twisting slightly. "No... I just.." You paused briefly to see if relaxing would ease the unusual pain and sensitivity.
"I don't know..."
"Should I stop?"
"No, no you're fine... I'll be fine."
Optimus' face at the time didn't show he was too convinced. He'd rather be cautious than be sorry later...
"You're coming up on the signal, be careful when you enter." Ratchet's voice broke you from your thoughts, causing you to slow down.
"I'll be careful."
You transformed and shook your pedes along the loose rock of the road. You scanned the area briefly, then continued on foot through the trees. The Energon supply would be right below you soon enough.
You absentmindedly rubbed your abdominal plating to ease the tension in your struts and fuel lines. He must have messed you up good considering the noticeable dent. You'd had it there for a bit, but it was barely noticeable.
The constant beep of the counter led your way through broken foliage and trees barely taller than yourself.
"Coming up on it." You said into your comm. You kept yourself at a good pace as you made it through and found the crater.
Bingo.
"Get a move on!" A distant voice calls, causing you to duck behind a rock and bushes.
"Could you useless 'cons work any faster!?"
You shifted and looked through the foliage to see a plateau-heeled Decepticon screeching away.
"Just... Perfect."
You leaned back, "Decepticons got the jump." You whispered into your comm and waited for Ratchet to update.
"How many??"
"Their usual mining crew... I'd say 15- maybe 20?" Your servo pressed against your plating again, feeling the uneasy warmth fill your gut.
"I'll send Bumblebee and Bulkhead out to you, see if you can get a better idea of who we're up against." Ratchet again replied, giving you something to focus on while waiting for the scout.
You shifted against the rock and ducked back into the foliage. You tread up the small hill. Thankfully the only notable figure among them was Starscream. The rest looked like workers, they wouldn't pose a huge threat.
You kneeled, your hip plating grinding loudly, making you freeze. The combined sink of your plating and the sound made you cringe. "Fraggin' hell..."
You grimaced and continued to stay low and wait. It was all you could do.
You sat there watching them mine the precious Energon that should be for you and the team. That wouldnt be the case if they didn't hurry up and get Bumblebee out here.
Your plating ached. It ached in a way that made you think about Optimus. About his hands on your hips and his denta on your neck cables.
Your plating heated, and the thought of Optimus made your fuel pump thump in your chassis.
"Frag," You whispered.
Your fans kicked on, and your panels clicked.
"Ratchet I- I'm not feeling well..." You swallowed hard.
"Not well?? What are your readings showing?"
You checked your monitor, looking down at the diagnostics on your forearm. You were experiencing intense tightening just above your hip plating. And the rising temperature caused your fuel lines to tangle and a lightheaded feeling to sink in.
"My plating feels... Too tight."
"Is it painful?"
"Yeah."
"Can you make it back?"
"I.. Yeah.." You started to stand.
You paused, and your servo came to your stomach plating. Your Energon levels were down to 40% despite your rationing before you left.
"Bumblebee and Bulkhead are on their way to your coordinates."
Optimus was in the other room, concentrating on some old data pads he skimmed whenever he wasn't on missions.
He heard Ratchet in the other room but tuned him out. A tight warmth grew in his chest which caused him to adjust and shake his shoulders slightly. But as he read the feeling grew more prominent until he couldn't ignore it. His EM field pulsed, feeling that faint pulse of your spark alongside his. It felt uneven. The usual soft pump in rhythm that comforted the Matrix in his chest felt off.
Optimus pressed his servo to his chassis and tuned in to the feeling. Your spark throbbed against his rhythmically. The tight pulse and pull yearning for him, tugging the Matrix as if new life was growing the strength to stir from your chest.
It made him forget to breathe. He adjusted his optics again and pressed his chassis shut again, unaware it had come slightly ajar.
You leaned up against the rock, listening for anything around you with your servo still pressed against your abdomen. Footsteps softly came up behind you, a servo touching your shoulder. You jumped slightly and looked up to see Bumblebee. He whirred softly and pressed a digit to his helm as he moved toward the 'cons.
Bulkhead was close behind him. You sucked in the minor pain, took a deep breath and got on your feet again. You drew your arm cannon and followed the mechs out into the open.
"Hey, Screamer!" Bulkhead shouted and clanged his fists together.
Starscream saw the three of you and frowned deeply. "Autobots!" His wings fluttered in a panic. "Get them!" He ordered the 'cons. They abandoned their mining and ran at you three.
You shot at the first wave, taking them down before they could get too close. Bumblebee and Bulkhead worked together to get the bigger bots and leave the smaller ones for you.
As you went to take another shot the ache returned.
You winced, taking down the miner and looking around the area. Starscream was nowhere in sight.
You were about to comm Ratchet, but a sharp pain in your chassis forced you to hunch over and hold yourself.
The energy in your veins is pumps and pulses. Bulkhead noticed you and quickly rushed to your side, defending your flank while you recovered. You recovered and moved toward the Energon reserve. Bumblebee and Bulkhead held their position. You rushed to the middle of the pit, Starscream jumping down in front of you.
"Where are you going?" He grinned and aimed his arm at you, spindly digit threatening to pull the trigger.
"Starscream-" You held a hand up, the other resting against the pain in your plating.
"Oh, you're not getting any mercy today!" He lunged at you and shot a round into your shoulder. You tumbled to the ground, the pain seering your plating. "Frag-" You reached your knee up and kicked him off, deflecting his arm that swung at you, twisting and throwing him off of you. His nimble frame was back on his feet in seconds. Luckily so were you. You raised your fists, blocking his left hook, his sharp arm plating screeching against yours.
His leg swept under your ankle and threw you to the ground again. He stood over you and aimed his arm in your face. "I've been waiting for this... Megatron will praise me."
You panted and tilted your head back. "I wouldn't be too sure of that..."
A shadow fell over you both. Starscream's wings tucked in defeat as a fist violently shoved him out of the way and threw him against the wall. Starscream yelped, rock falling and landing in his lap.
Optimus stood over you, his servo reached for you and grabbed your arm to pull you up.
You winced and held yourself, feeling your struts and plates shift uncomfortably.
"Thank you."
He nodded firmly, activating his arm cannon and placing a protective arm on your shoulder. He moved you somewhere safer and rejoined the fight. You watched him go and smiled softly. Ratchet split from the group and came over to you. You slowly sat down and looked up at him as he worked. You took a deep breath and looked down. Your spark was warm, and your chest felt like it was going at a million beats per second.
Ratchet checked your diagnostics and nodded. "That was one of my fears... We need to get you out of here." You looked at him. How he looked at you made your spark flutter but for the wrong reasons. "Ratchet it's not..."
"It is. Optimus had a hunch."
You shuddered softly. Ratchet kept you sat down and watched over you protectively until the sound above the reserve grew quiet. Starscream squirmed out from his place and transformed, flying off.
"We'll get him next time." You said.
"I'd say so." Bulkhead approached.
You tried standing but were met with resistance.
"I can walk," you said stubbornly, moving your hips slightly. Ratchet gave you a firm look and kept you down. Optimus walked over, the other two moving away so he could come close to you.
"It's as you thought, Optimus," Ratchet said and got up. He motioned the others to follow him and they went to look over the Energon.
You looked up at Optimus softly and searched his optics to try and identify any anger in his face. Or, anything. Any emotion would be great right about now. "I... I don't know how I didn't notice sooner... When would we even-"
Optimus gently reached out and took your servo. You looked down and then back up. Optimus fully kneeled to your side, squeezing your servo. "I am not upset. I'm not... anything, right now."
You sighed softly. "I should have known... all the signs were there." You looked down, "I should have known."
Optimus' faceplates softened, "I'm glad you're alright." He let go of your servo and cupped your faceplate, tilting his head down. Your shoulders loosened a little. You reached up to cup his neck when his helm met yours. He welcomed your EM field into his, surrounding you with a mellow warmth that soothed your hydraulics.
You were a nervous wreck. He knew that.
You leaned forward and nuzzled into his neck cables.
"Optimus.."
"I need to get you and the team home." His voice rumbled low in his chassis, soothing you with something fierce. He slowly leaned back and helped you up. Your knees wobbled and crumbled underneath you. Optimus caught you effortlessly, a large hand spreading across your breastplates, helping you lean back up. "Easy.." He kept you close to his body, a comforting weight in your chest that reminded you you were safe.
"I've never had to carry someone so much before."
You smiled up at him. "I wouldn't mind if you did it more often."
He cracked a small smile at that. He effortlessly pulls you up off your pedes and against his warm chest. The others got the Energon they could, and Ratchet called Arce to open the bridge and bring you back to base. Optimus went first with you in his arms. He held you tightly and protectively as he made his way through the tunnel.
The team followed close behind, Arce shutting the bridge and coming to Ratchet's side.
"What happened out there?"
Ratchet looked up at Optimus, they shared a silent conversation for a moment before Ratchet turned back to his computer. "Mishap, come on, let's get the rest of this, yes?" The others nodded and followed Ratchet's instruction.
Optimus brings you back to your berthroom and slowly sets you down. Now that you were in private you could properly talk.
"I am not mad."
You looked up at him.
"I don't want you to think I am. We are in a dangerous war. I cannot blame you for this, nor am I mad at you for it. You couldn't have predicted this. I couldn't have either." He knew that wasn't entirely the case. You two were sexually reserved, sure. But you could have avoided this.
He gently reached out and touched the side of your helm. You leaned into it and reached up to touch his wrist.
"I am..." He paused. He didn't know what he was. How he felt, it was very mixed emotions. "I don't know what I feel."
You understood.
You leaned forward and nuzzled his wrist. You looked up at him with soft optics, "It doesn't change anything?"
To that, Optimus shook his helm. "No, not a chance." You looked down, and a smile formed across your derma. "If it means anything... I wouldn't do this with anyone else."
Optimus chuckled softly.
You sat up a bit straighter.
"I wouldn't feel privileged to raise a sparkling if it weren't with you." He said, his thumb tracing your jaw.
You leaned in and pressed your lips to his. He held you, his hand on your jaw slowly traveling to the back of your helm. His EM field pulsed around you, warming you as it wrapped around your body. He pulled back and pressed his helm to yours.
"I'm glad we're in this together." You whispered. Optimus was quiet in favor of kissing you again. One servo comes down to protectively rest against your abdominal plating.
If Primus brings him a child, then who is he to say no? It may not be the ideal condition, but he wouldn't want to raise a sparkling with someone else.
You gleamed up at him. He returned the soft smile, gently nudging your forehead. "You're going to be a sire," Your smile grew wider, the momentary fear and worry that troubled you replaced by the joyful realization of what was to come.
Optimus couldn't help thinking of the future, of Megatron, of others who would get to hurt you, who surely would try to lay a hand on his child. Megatron wouldn't go that far... Would he?
He didn't fragging care. Not right now. Right now he allowed himself to bring his walls down, to hold you and kiss you all over until you giggled.
"And you, my Cybertronian beauty, the carrier of our sparkling."
A higher honor than anything. And even if sometimes Optimus didn't have it all figured out, he knew that if there was any time to commit to being the best sparkmate he could, it was now. For you, and for your sparkling.
After all... It wouldn't be long. He could feel it in his spark.

Design for Gaea THE EARTH ITSELF
Brought to life the moment the allspark struck our soil, Earth was never meant to be cosmically important in this story it became important because of us, she represents man, animal, plant and planet, our strength united but with a cost. If she transforms, everybody dies
Gaea is the entire planet earth brought to life as a transformer, the allspark began to create her the moment it arrived on our planet but she was a creation of such magnitude that i took until the modern day for her to be born. As such, dispite her name gaea is not the earth mother, unlike the other two planetformers she doesn't see her inhabitants as her children for we predate her
we bleed onto the same earth, and when we bleed, she calls us her sisters and brothers. Gaea believes that life on earth is the greatest thing ever created and that the two gods who claim she's one of them are but pathetic mockeries of the people she considers to be her true kin.
she believes beings like us are better in every way than so-called gods, gaea lacks the cosmic powers primus and unicron share, she is in fact just a robot that turns into a planet and her ability to act is limited but she's still formidable and holds the power of everyone who's lived in our world, indomitable spirit pumping through her veins
Gaea developed her strongly held beliefs after two encounters shortly after first coming online, first the autobots and decepticons being very kind to her to ensure she didn't transform out of panic, second, right after they left her alone with her thoughts, she was contacted outside of time and space by primus and unicron even though they were both out of the picture at this time.
the ensuing conversation with her self-proclaimed brothers disgusted her to such a point and was so overbearing compared to what she had just experienced with the mortals that she immediately began to dispise everything her "brothers" stood for and renounced both of them. Claiming the flora, fauna , and mecha fauna that inhabited her as her true siblings, whom she would defend with her non-existent teeth and nails,
To represent her engagement with the lives of her little kin, she picks a side of the war to support, rather than staying "above it all" like the other two would do. She's more... down to earth.. in comparison.

About the Other/Cybertronian!TFP crew in Jack, Raf and Miko…
What would their alt modes be like, do you think? Would they be more Autobot, Decepticon, or Predacon in nature? Also, what kind of shenanigans would each of them get into?
Personally, I do enjoy the thought that cyberized!humans would have a slant towards 'military' upgrades and beastial traits. Like a tribute to humanity's ties to the animal kingdom and their capacity for arms (tool usage lol). Think of it how a lot of civilian equipment, vehicles, fashion, and architecture, as well as groundbreaking discoveries, had a lot of roots from warfare or military applications.
Shoot, I'm thinking that Aligned verse cyber!humans could be considered throwbacks since the initial generations of early Cybertronians didn't have T-cogs!
I think it would be really fascinating to build on the Cybertronians' form of ableism (as seen with Bumblebee and Starscream with their stolen T-cogs) compared to a cyber!Agent Fowler -who was an Army Ranger-or a cyber!random human that lacks a weapon system and/or conventional armature. Plus, the massive culture clash between American views on social mobility versus Golden Age Functionist-held caste system.
(So much shenanigans there.)
Generally, my thoughts for their Cybertronian forms are consistent across the various Other aus with some tweaking on the plot and the world-building:
Jack has deep ties to blackbirds and corvids, so he's capable of flight. May have multi-forms as an ode to a fae heritage or something strange as a direct descendant to a Prime of Chaos upon a planet caging the Unmaker. Dark frame with a pale face. His (and his mother's) optics would be a grey-blue hue.
Miko is a War-Forged Seeker femme. A lot of is due my headcanons on Seekers (and their kin) and her yōkai roots. War-Forged is what I'm specifically calling Elita One's frame-kith. Cybertronians used to bleed pink, so the bright pink armor is callback their Primal Age and their ancient roots. War-Forged are mecha with extreme combat-related programs that modern science as yet to come close to surpassing them.
As for Raf, he's a dragon. Not quite a Predacon, but it's definitely aligned. Or, weirdly enough, a satellite. I think it would be funny if he's similar to Soundwave in some ways there. The Autobots would need to deal with his data-cables. A dragon shape as it's a call his family's roots to being adventurers to Elsewhere, his dad being a dragon himself, and the old warning: "Here be dragons."

Reformation - 9
“Barricade?” Prowl asked when Jazz mentioned a cousin looking for him.
“I dunno,” Jazz replied. “He didn’t give Trailbreaker a designation. Beta?”
“It would have to be Barricade,” Prowl said. “My other cousins are Alphas. Barricade is the only one who would embarrass himself claiming me, in any case.”
Jazz did not feel good leaving Prowl. The news that a cousin was looking for him visibly disturbed him. At least Ori had arrived and would do his best to distract Prowl was Jazz was gone. The Beta cousin claimed Prowl, which was a point in his favour. At the same time, Prowl had never mentioned him, there was no next of kin listed in his file, Jazz had looked, he was a spy after all. He knew the ins and outs of every officer’s personal file. Some had secret families and unknown to them, Jazz had put reservist operatives in their neighbours to serve a first line of defence if Decepticons figured a hostage was in order. His job was not just to sniff out Decepticon secrets, that was not even the most important part of his job, his most important job was preserving the Autobot’s own.
When Jazz had pictured Prowl’s cousin, he had imagined a mech who looked like him. The mech he saw standing on the Autobot Provost guard’s back did not look like Prowl beyond his doorwings. Maybe Jazz should have asked what Barricade looked like. This Praxian had overall dark colouring. His plating was black and gold, safe for stripes of white that sported the Praxian enforcer decals. His face was gold and his optics red. Jazz supposed mecha would think the same of him as his twin thought their features were all identical save for their colouring. Trailbreaker smiled and gave Jazz an awkward wave. The Praxian looked turned to watch him come, never stepping off the Alpha’s back. His arms were crossed under his chassis. The other Provost guards were standing at their posts, unwilling to interfere, leading Jazz to believe this one had asked for it.
“Barricade?” Jazz asked.
“That’s right,” the Praxian said.
“Great,” Jazz replied. “Mind steppin’ off’m?”
“Where is Prowl?” Barricade asked. He did as Jazz asked and stepped off the guard like he was a stepping stool.
“Home,” Jazz replied. “What’s... this about?”
“He asked for a demonstration,” Barricade replied.
“Well...” Jazz said. He made a gesture for the guards watching from their posts. “I think they learned.”
“Mm.” Barricade hummed, reminiscent of Prowl.
“Pretty impressive, takin’ down a warbuild ‘bout twice your size,” Jazz said.
“I know how to bring an Alpha down to my level,” Barricade replied, ever so slightly primly. Ironhide would like him.
“Enforcer?” Jazz asked.
“Yes,” Barricade replied.
“Ya serve wit Prowl?” Jazz asked.
“Until he resigned,” Barricade replied. Jazz nodded. Then Barricade knew about the worst of what Prowl had gone through. He was the only cousin to still claim Prowl.
“Any chance y’ll tell me what brought ya here?” Jazz asked.
“If Prowl wants you around when I tell him,” Barricade replied.
“See that he gets to Ratchet,” Jazz ordered Trailbreaker. “Come wit me. We’re off pace.”
“We?” Barricade asked.
“We,” Jazz said. They were we, for now at least, but Jazz thought better of adding that part. He transformed and Barricade followed after him. The Beta Praxian shared his cousin’s altmode. “Why not comm him?”
“Because he deserves better than a comm call,” Barricade replied. “He wasn’t going to get one anyways.”
“Somethin’ happen wit his ‘genitor?” Jazz asked.
“I wouldn’t trouble him with that aft’s ashes,” Barricade replied.
“Really ain’t gonna tell me,” Jazz said.
“Prowl gets to decide how much you know,” Barricade replied.
“Yer protective o’m,” Jazz noted.
“He was always decent,” Barricade replied. “I can’t say the same for my brothers.”
“Had a lot o’ experience puttin’ Alphas in line then?” Jazz guessed.
“Its my favourite hobby,” Barricade replied.
Jazz laughed, though he suspected it was the truth. Barricade was a brasher version of Prowl but the more he spoke the more Jazz found a resemblance. Just like Barricade insisted on Prowl decided if Jazz got to hear whatever he had to say, Jazz thought Prowl ought to decide if his cousin should hear he was carrying. They were at an impasse and the Alpha was not thrilled. He had no doubt whatever news Barricade had was going to hurt Prowl and Prowl did not deserve any more pain. But for Barricade to have travelled to Iacon, it was something important. At least Ori was also going to be there and he would be able to knock some sense into Jazz if he overreacted at all.
“Why not live on base?” Barricade asked once they stopped outside Jazz’s building.
“Better digs,” Jazz replied. “Me ‘n my twin each got our own space ‘n room for Ori when he visits. “Bachelor habs ain’t roomie.”
“Fair enough,” Barricade replied. “Prowl’s would be drab.”
“Medic Ratchet says it looks like a prison cell,” Jazz replied.
“He’s afraid to express himself,” Barricade replied. “Having an opinion or taste not identical to his progenitor’s was never well received.”
***
The door opened and Prowl stood up. It was Barricade. He smiled, it was strained but Prowl smiled because when no one else in the world cared for him, Barricade had. His cousin walked over and brushed his crest against Prowl’s. Barricade was exactly the same as he had been when Prowl had left Praxus, the same looks, the same rank. Prowl gestured his helm towards Barricade’s doorwings while lifting and twitching his own and Barricade just shrugged irreverently. A Beta stood a better chance at promotion in the enforcers than an Omega but it was not great. They would need to play politics and Alpha dynamics especially well and Barricade did not. He played with Alphas as Alphas played with each other, which usually left the Alpha humiliated and Barricade smugly satisfied.
“You should sit down,” Barricade said, soberly. Jazz took Prowl’s arm and sat with him on the couch.
“What is it?” Prowl asked.
“Lockdown was paroled,” Barricade explained. “Two quartexes ago.”
“No!” Prowl gasped. His helm spun. Jazz took him in his arms. Behind them, Punch growled.
“I’m sorry,” Barricade replied. “I got a warrant put out on him for what he did to you.”
“Do they even wanna prosecute?” Jazz asked. “Seems, just from what Prowl’s told me, they don’t care.”
“I threatened to publish an tell-all,” Barricade replied. “I can at least use the warrant to get optics on him. After he left Garrus-9, he’s effectively disappeared.”
“Ya think Prowl’s in danger?” Jazz asked. “That’s why ya came.”
“Barricade is in danger,” Prowl said.
“I’m fine,” Barricade replied, waving Prowl off with servo and doorwing.
“He was explicit about what he would do to you,” Prowl replied, staring up at his cousin.
“Tedious scrap Alphas of his type say,” Barricade replied. “It’s grandstanding.”
“You threatened to unmech him, repeatedly,” Prowl sighed. “I believe he will have taken that personally.”
“A’ight, I think I like ya,” Jazz declared. Prowl sighed.
“Please don’t encourage him,” the Omega said. “You humiliated him, Barricade. Lockdown has an ego like no other.”
“Like I told him, from a distance, I shoot him through the panel,” Barricade replied. “Up close, a knife. I would relish the opportunity, Prowl.”
“Oh I definitely like ya,” Punch declared.
“I’ll gets my optics on the ground lookin’ for’m,” Jazz said. “Since I don’t need a warrant ‘n don’t worry ‘bout little technicalities like trials.”
“This I like,” Barricade replied.
“In the meantime, ‘til we get optics on’m, ya might as well stay for a visit,” Jazz suggested. “Ori can use Rico’s berth, leavin’ the guest berth to ya. The two o’ ya can catch up.”
“I would look like an aft if I said no,” Barricade replied.
“Please,” Prowl said.
“You don’t need to beg,” Barricade sighed. “I have an orn’s leave. I wasn’t about to drop this on you and roll out.”
“Thank you.”

On Skybound Starscream and Hubris:
Starscream as a character we know is someone who is constantly seeking power, and often stuck in a cycle of either attaining it or getting close to attaining it, but ultimately falling flat, usually due to Megatron. But what happens when Megatron is not there? This is the question Daniel Warren Johnson's Transformers (2023) presents. I posit that his answer is that instead of falling to Megatron, Starscream, instead, falls to his own hubris. I will examine this argument through classical allusions, particularly those of Tantalus and Narcissus, especially as written in Ovid's Metamorphoses.
Tantalus in Greek mythology was a son of Zeus, who had been welcomed to dine with the gods. In some versions of the myth, he ends up stealing the secrets of the gods, and is punished for this. However, in the version of the myth I will be drawing from, he desired to test the gods' omniscience by cutting up his child, Pelops, and feeding the parts to the gods. For this act, he resides in Tartarus, fated to spend eternity reaching for fruit or water, only for it to retreat from him, leaving him starving and thirsty (Credo Reference). Both of these versions focus on Tantalus' hubris, as he attempts to upset the cosmic order by either placing himself at the level of or above the gods, in spite of being mortal and being a guest. In his pursuit of power, he commits the taboo: treachery and cannibalism.
Another thing to note is that this starts the miasma, or the curse, that clouds the House of Atreus until it is resolved by Orestes in Aeschylus' Oresteia. This results in a cycle of violence and revenge that culminates in Orestes' matricide of Clytemnestra. I won't go too into it, but I do wish to highlight the cycle that Starscream herself usually undergoes within the greater Transformers canon, especially Generation 1, wherein Starscream gains power, or attempts to gain power, and is taken down, often by Megatron. These patterns exist to highlight the tragedy of Starscream's character, and is something Daniel Warren Johnson is examining too, especially as Starscream, who was lashed out at by Megatron, now lashes out at people such as Skywarp and Soundwave, and Soundwave’s cassettes. This propagates a cycle of violence that culminates in Soundwave’s coup, and Starscream’s supposed death.
In Transformers (2023), one of the major taboos Starscream commits is the disassembly of Skywarp in order to repair Teletraan-1. While Soundwave also engages in this act, I believe the emphasis is that Starscream did it, or perhaps we have not seen the outcome of Soundwave's participation in this taboo yet (especially as he continues to interact with Thundercracker). The point I wish to make is that Starscream, as a fellow seeker and often put in a group, or 'trine' with Skywarp and Thundercracker, would see Skywarp as even more 'kin' to herself than Soundwave or his cassettes, or Reflector, or any of the constructicons. In the Tantalus myth, it is not just that Tantalus has cannibalized another human, but that he cannibalized his own son to feed to the gods that is so transgressive. It is the violation of this sacred relation, both to his family and to the gods, that lands him in Tartarus, stuck in a cycle of hungering and wanting but never getting his desire. By disassembling Skywarp with the intent not to get more Decepticons healed, but rather to get more Decepticons to be able to outpower the Autobots, Starscream has similarly acted in this transgressive fashion. Skywarp is a fellow seeker, who fights loyally on behalf of the Decepticons. However, in Starscream’s journey to keep power above the other Decepticons, defeat the Autobots, and amass Energon, she becomes increasingly willing to be violent against his own troops to achieve this. By violating this relationship, she becomes hubristic and is thus punished.
Furthermore, going into the punishment aspect: Starscream meets his hubris after a defeat, and Soundwave and the remaining Decepticons confront her. While Starscream tries to get out of the challenge by appealing to the other Decepticons, it is Thundercracker, his other “trinemate” and fellow seeker, who reminds her of what Decepticon honor dictates—that he stand and face his challenger. Soundwave defeats Starscream, and drops her over a cliff. This quite literal fall from grace is the culmination of Starscream’s hubris, and can once again be compared to Tantalus. Tantalus, who seeks out food and drink eternally, only for them to be ripped away, can be compared to Starscream, who in pursuit of power has once again had it ripped away from him due to her own hubris in how he has treated his fellow Decepticons. This comes after a similar cycle with Megatron. We can even push further on it as the Decepticons have been seeking out energy and a means to repair themselves, or food and water, in human terms. Similarly, Tantalus eternally seeks this. By falling in the midst of this search, Starscream’s arc affirms this allusion.
Therefore, by drawing parallels between the Tantalus myth and Starscream's arc in Skybound's Transformers, we can observe that the use of taboo and even the greater picture of the house of Atreus can be used to highlight Starscream’s cyclical hubris and tragedy, and how the taboo of cannibalizing a comrade led to her own punishment via Soundwave and his comrades.
On the Narcissus myth: Narcissus was a 16 year old boy who was seen as very desirable by many people, including Echo, who can only repeat what she hears back to the speaker. He spurns them all, even Echo, who appears as he seeks out connection with someone, but as soon as she embraces him, he spurns her. Later, another spurned lover prays that he will find love, but be unable to grasp it. One day, he stops to drink from a lake, and sees his reflection. He immediately falls in love with it, and out of despair wastes away because he cannot be with it, as he is holding up a facsimile of himself as his true self, wishing to be with it, even though he is already "himself" (Ovid).
I mention his age, as it is a similar age to Pentheus of Euripedes' tragedy, The Bacchae. Pentheus is the young king of Thebes, who has banned Dionysian worship. As a result, many, including his own mother, are driven crazy, and he attempts to persecute Dionysius. Dionysius instead persuades him to spy on the maenads (the crazed women), and is torn apart by them, but not after also falling victim to the same incapacitation as the maenads (Euripedes). Pentheus' story is partially about the transition from boy into man as a ruler, and the hubris that comes about from it as he is stuck between two positions.
Moving onto Starscream, and his parallels to these myths: While Starscream is not nearly as young as either Narcissus or Pentheus, we see her transitioning into leadership with Megatron gone, and failing to properly establish it as we see many bring up Megatron, with Starscream becoming more violent in reaction every time the name is brought up. It is this very transition, along with becoming addicted to the drunken feeling of power, that leads into Starscream's own hubris. This is not because of the transitionary state for either ruler but because of the transgressions—against either gods or their own comrades— that they commit in order to establish and maintain that power in the face of such an unstable transition. Pentheus believes himself above the cosmic order as he refuses to cleave to Dionysius’ influence, yet ultimately succumbs to it, and Starscream treats his companions unjustly, from simply kicking them to dismantling them in order to repair Teletraan-1. Starscream, in this transition, disregards and sees herself as above the other troops, and such transgressions lead to their ultimate fates—being torn apart.
Narcissus’ age can evoke this parallel as well, which was why I went on that tangent. Starscream’s journey, however, begins with the rejection of offered companionship—that of Skyfire’s. Skyfire reassembles Starscream first, and Starscream greets him openly as a comrade before proceeding to shoot Bumblebee. Then, Skyfire asks what Starscream is doing, being horrified at what his friend has become. As a result, Starscream lashes out at Skyfire, attacking him, and during the following battle, lands a near-fatal blow on him. We can identify that this parallels the story of Echo, who embraces Narcissus before she is also spurned, resulting in her retreat and wasting away until she is just her voice, echoing whatever words are spoken. Similarly, Skyfire is spurned, and now is locked in his shuttle mode, “unable to see the stars”. This rejection of kindness and companionship precedes both Starscream's and Narcissus' hubris. It is important also to note that in Dante's Divine Comedy, it is sins born from love that are at the highest level of both the Inferno and Purgatorio, and it is sins that implicitly come from a prioritization of worldly power over love that are at the lowest levels of both. By rejecting love and delving deeper and deeper into hubris, both Starscream and Narcissus thus doom themselves in this way, as they hold worldly power and reflection, respectively, above companionship and compassion. They become their sin as a response to the difficulties of transitioning into a “higher” position.
After spurning Echo, Narcissus falls in love with his own reflection. While Starscream notably does not do this, it is important to see the symbolism of Narcissus' actions. Maria Margaroni writes, in analyzing Cigoli's 'Narcisse à la Fontaine', which depicts the myth,
Narcissus is blind because his eyes can only mirror (symmetrically reproduce) themselves, they can no longer see (acknowledge and confirm the presence of the other). This is why Narcissus's gaze is carefully erased from (indeed, edited out of) the painting. All that remains of it is the moment of hubris, that fatal ex-tension towards the self, frozen and exemplified (Margaroni 74).
He is holding his reflection as something to desire, something to yearn for, instead of as simply a reflection of himself. The reflection is only an image, there is no connection to be truly sought from it. Starscream holds power and control in a similar way, seeing it as an intoxicating substance to yearn and grasp for, but that she can never properly grasp, because like Narcissus, who seeks connection, she completely disregards her companions in this endeavor. In seeking out power, he too no longer acknowledges and confirms the presence of the other, but sees others and tools by which she can gain this power and victory. Thus, Starscream, like Narcissus, has become blind, and all that remains is that moment of hubris. She has made that power his identity, instead of a being who can love and share camaraderie . And it is from this hubris that he goes from being concerned for Thundercracker's safety and getting energon for Soundwave and Skywarp in issue #1, to disregarding both Soundwave and his cassettes, and Skywarp, as only tools on the path to glory for seemingly the Decepticons, but really, himself. As a result, like Narcissus, who wastes away until he leaves behind a singular flower, Soundwave tears Starscream apart, claiming to use these pieces to heal Ravage. From their hubris and destruction, they add to their environment.
These parallels can thus be seen as ways of affirming Starscream's tragic arc, where she falls not to the Autobots or even really to Soundwave, but to her own hubris. The change we see happen over these issues act as an analysis and a study of Starscream's character, and shows the tragedy of the cyclical nature of the character. Having seen this, I look forward to what comes next in Transformers (2023), and know we have not seen the last of Starscream.

Cybertroniankin/Transformerkin Flags And Symbol
I noticed that Cybertoniankins don't have a flag nor symbol so I decided to make them myself. Unfortunately I'm indecisive so there are multiple versions. The colours were picked with meaning in mind, I tried to choose features/experiences that all Cybertonians could relate to. I did include some references to the war in the symbolism since that is the main story that our source/cannon revolves around.
The symbol is a representation of a spark/spark chamber. Depending on the continuity spark chambers will look different but most of the time the sparks themselves are just pure light so i took some artistic freedom with this. I decided to take visual inspiration from the matrix of leadership, specifically the part that fits over/around the spark.
First version -
1 - Deep blueish purple for Interstellar travel/Space. Representing Cybertonians that live on other planets, were born on other planets, travel through space frequently/as a lifestyle, were displaced/had to escape during the war, or for some other reason aren't on Cybertron.
2 - Vibrant blue for Energon. Representing the energon that is our lifeblood, as well as the energon spilled in the war between Decepticons and Autobots.
3 - Pastel rainbow gradient for Transformation. Representing our defining trait to transform. It's what gave us the name "transformers" after all. It might be second nature to some, while others will struggle with it and how it impacts their identity. But at the end of the day our T-cogs and other systems evolved to let us change form and we should be proud in that ability.
4 - Pale ice blue for The Allspark. Representing the fact that regardless of how we look or who we are, we all originate from within the Allspark, without it new Cybertonians can't be born. The Allspark is also seen as a form of afterlife, which could tie into spiritual Cybertoniankin identities.
5 - Grey for Metal. Representing the physical aspect of being a mechanical lifeform. A lot of us - myself included - experience species dysphoria. Whether your kintype is psychological, spiritual or anything in between, the feeling of being made of metal is carried with us via phantom and sensory shifts.
✦
Second and third version -
I made these since I thought the rainbow gradient on the first one could be a bit too much. These flags also put the All Spark stripe at the centre giving it a bit more focus. The colour meanings remain the same except for the yellow stripe.
4/5 - Golden yellow for Transformation/T-cog. Almost identical meaning as the gradient stripe on the first version but with more emphasis on the T-cog itself. The colour comes from the fact that although the way the T-cogs look depends on continuity, most of them seem to have some golden/yellow/orange elements or glow.
✦
Here is the symbol by itself:

Continuation of this idea
---
Ratchet always knew when someone was in his medbay; it was like a sixth sense their human allies had told him about a while back. Be it the twins wanting to prank him, wayward officers trying to discreetly snag some emergency repair parts, or a particularly slippery Prime who knew where Ratchet kept his good rust sticks, no bot was safe. So when he returns to his domain after diffusing yet another argument between Grimlock and his kin, Ratchet isn't surprised to find the newly arrived human digging through some of his supplies, jumping when the medic lets out a sharp vent.
"May I help you?" The smaller being scrambled upright in surprise, squinting up at Ratchet before shaking his head.
"I'll never understand how tons of metal can move so silently." Cade looked almost awed as he looked Ratchet over before continuing his previous task, grumbling under his breath. "....Ratchet right?"
"That's right." The medic watched him pull out a few bundles of wiring with an approving look, setting it beside a mini-welder and an energon patch he'd already grabbed. "Do you know me?"
"Ah no...no I never did get to meet you." His voice catches, and Ratchet watches as the human's eyes take on a faint glow, his expression changing to one of sadness. "I'm sorry."
"What for?" The medic frowned as he leaned closer, pulling out a scanner.
"For failing you, old friend." The Cybertronian stared as Cade spoke in both his voice and Optimus' in unison, stance changing subtly to give the medic his full attention. "It warms our sparkheart to see you alive and well here."
"Optimus?" What in the name of Primus
"Yes and no." Cade shrugged, watching the blue light that enveloped him from Ratchet's scanner with mild curiosity, said bot's optics widened at the readings he received. "This is new."
"This...these readings are impossible." Cade moved to resume grabbing what he wanted from Ratchet's supplies, the glow fading from his eyes as Ratchet looked through the data.
"Don't ask me, I still don't understand...whatever this is, exactly." Cade shrugged, grinning at some tubing he found. "I was patching Optimus' chest up after fighting Quintessa when boom, it was like I was electrocuted? Next thing I know, I know everything about Cybertron and can understand Cybertronian, and Optimus can quote freaking Shakespeare and understands Earth lingo better than I do. Still weird, but really cool at the same time."
"What about you both speaking as one?" Ratchet grabbed a seat and pulled it over, grabbing a replacement strut from a higher shelf before taking a seat. "I saw that limp of his, you'll need it."
"Thanks man! I'm not the best doc for you bots, but I think I do pretty well." Cade shrugged, pushing the piece over to his stash. "Bonus for not having to dig through a scrapyard, parts for his model are kinda hard to find in a normal yard. As for the speaking thing, Optimus might be able to explain it better than I could."
"Do you not have a base?"
"Uh...not really? It's uh, the world governments are still trying to pull their head out of their collective asses in undoing the ban on bots, and we're still just moving around to stay safe."
"...what?" Ratchet can't help but remember the Decepticon plot that had nearly wiped out their entire Earthbound faction, and his spark twists in pity.
"It's a really long story that I'll leave to the big guy. I've only been around the last few years, but it...it got bad. A lot of you guys are either dead, still off-planet, or one of the few in hiding in Cuba for some reason." Cade shook his head with a sigh, stretching as he looked down at his haul. "So..."
"Come on." Ratchet let out a long, drawn-out vent as he carefully placed the medical supplies into one of his various subspaces before offering his servo. "While you might be a decent medic, I am vastly superior."
"Ego much?" Cade snorted as he hopped onto the offered limb, yawning as he was placed onto Ratchet's shoulder before the white and red mech headed out of the medbay.
"I wasn't given the title of Chief Medical Officer for having pretty optics." The medic grumbled, this time getting a full-on laugh from Cade as he traveled the halls of the Ark, heading toward the room that had been turned into a home away from home for their human companions and liaisons. The alternate Optimus was sitting in his alt mode, Ratchet's years of practice as a veteran medic shrugging off the suspicious EMF field that washed over him, only to fade just as quickly. "Optimus."
"Ratchet, it is good to see you." Optimus slowly transformed as Cade was set down on the ground, Ratchet pulling out the supplies and trying to gawk at the bot, who was far taller than he needed to be in his opinion. "I see Cade escaped your wrath unscathed."
"This time, don't think you'll be allowed to rummage through my medbay again unsupervised." The human rolled his eyes as Ratchet chuckled, scanning Optimus before the other could protest. "What in the Pit happened to you?"
"That...is a long story." The weariness in his voice kept Ratchet's snarky answer at bay, merely holding out a servo toward Cade.
"I'll need some of that tubing you grabbed and the green welder on your left." The inventor nodded and grabbed the required items, Ratchet tapping above some of the worst injuries on one of Optimus' legs. "Open up."
"As you wish." Battered plating pulled back to allow the medic access to his inner workings, the silence between the three heavier than any of them wanted it to be. It broke when Cade decided to stretch his legs, patting Optimus' armor with a murmur Ratchet couldn't quite catch before he wandered out of the room, leaving the two alone.
"Cade has done a good job with your repairs, reminds me of Raoul." Ratchet hummed as he replaced the fractured strut he'd eyed earlier.
"Who is Raoul?" The taller bot let out a relieved purr when the new piece was inserted, and the dull ache he'd been dealing with for days was finally gone.
"A human ally I've been training to provide medical aid in the field, he became interested after helping us a few times. He's quite the natural at it as well, and don't ever mention it to Tracks, he'll never shut up about it."
"Tracks...I don't know if he's still alive." Optimus shook his helm with a frown, searching his processor for anything he may have heard.
"He might be, you never know." Ratchet gently squeezed his shoulder, the Prime almost immediately leaning into his touch like his own did. "Optimus...what happened to you? You know you can confide in me, no matter where we both come from."
"It is a friendship I cherish deeply." The battle mask that Optimus had kept on when he transformed receded, and Ratchet felt his spark warm at the trust. "A large portion of humanity turned against our entire kind after we were betrayed by a close ally, which resulted in the destruction of a massive portion of Chicago. A majority of us went into hiding when Lockdown arrived to Earth, and he..." Optimus' vocalizer fizzled out, covering his face with one servo as he let out a slow vent. Optimus couldn't tell him how he'd seen Ratchet's execution, and how, later on, his body had been melted down for the disgusting notion of human greed. The anger was still there within his spark, a big reason that he kept moving around with Cade, unwilling to give humanity another chance at taking what little was left to him and his race.
"I know you did everything you could, Orion." Ratchet's spark felt overwhelmed with sorrow as he moved to embrace the Prime, his EMF field surrounding the other with as much comfort as the medic could pull from himself.
"I was in stasis, I should have been there, not hiding in some building like some sort of coward." The anger threatened to spill into his own field like a tidal wave, and Optimus cycled his optics off with a soft growl. "I am a Prime, I have taken worse injuries."
"I don't know how he is in your world, but Lockdown fights dirty and has taken experienced mechs down without batting an optic. You are not infallible; no matter what that Matrix feeds you, you fall like the rest of us. I know I would have said the same thing to you, so I'll say it to you now." Ratchet pulled back with a fond look, waiting for Optimus to look up at him. "I'm sorry, for what it's worth."
"I am too, you deserved to see the end of the War."

The Coveted Star
(A/n: This is my first little attempt at a little transformers blurb of Megatron x OC/Self insert who will be greatly elaborated upon in later posts. Just thought id dip my toes in the water here.)
Tags: Nonspecific Transformers continuity (As of current at least, leaning towards TFA, or maybe changing context and interaction before going earthspark) Description: Megatron trying to persuade a human turned unaffiliated bot into joining the Decepticons. Word Count: 637 Warnings: Probably ooc Megatron x Fem oc/self-insert; Probably confusing lore but will have an oc lore dump post laterrr; brief corpse mention but not serious; Religious Imagery - hell mention; slight xenophobia; eye strain because colored text; probably poor use of cybertronian anatomy
“Look at you! A great star in the sky among walking corpses with withering souls! You hold amazing power… it would be such a waste for you not to use it…” The dirtied grey mech held out his servo in offering to Aquarion, his broad digits scratched and deeply scarred from decades of fighting, of war. The sleek femme’s purple optics moved with trepidation from the dark flat palm of his servo, flitting across his dented plating until their optics met.
The crimson glow of his optics burned like the fires of hell that made old historians writhe in their sleep before vomiting their horrors onto withered pages in striking raven ink. If his passion was inferno, he burnt like the lake of fire he'd be condemned to for the sins he held heavy servo'd against his fellow kin. Palms bathed in enough energon alone to rejuvenate his dead and broken home...
“I cannot take a place at your side…” Aquarion’s soft tone breaks with static, vocalizer quickly correcting as she vents a heavy puff of steam. White plating shone like freshly fallen snow, violet bio-lights peeking out between the crevasses, the breaks in her armor.
Her frame ran hot. Wiring burning with unease much like the nerves that used to sting her once human flesh with sensations deeper than this by tenfold. “To take up my burdens and follow you would be to turn my back on the people that I used to be a part of.” As the words left her, a frown wormed its way across her faceplate.
“Used to. Have you not experienced the hateful gazes? The fear and scrutiny in their fleshy eyes as they look up at the form that has consumed you. Changed you-" The leader of the Decepticons arms swing out dramatically, gesturing to the femme in all her new glory. The body that held her conscious was strong and sturdy, powerful, volatile, capable! It would kill Megatron to see the potential in her circuits wasted on neutrality -- or worse, the Autobots. "-Named you Aquarion and chose you out of all your kind for a higher purpose! This is a gift... You are no longer one of them! You are one of us!” Megatron demands, the deep timbre of his voice echoing not only within the gears of his own chassis, but hers as well. There’s an echo of desperation, an anticipation to make her understand that things are not the same anymore, her life is no longer what it was and never will be again.
No longer human, but hot blooded cybertronian... "I can't-"
"Take my hand!" Megatron demands harshly now, thrusting his servo forward once more at her continued hesitance, the swift movement of his hand towards her making her massive wings flare in a defensive stir. "Take my hand, and I will show you greatness you've never known! Teach you who you were meant to be..." The roughness of his vocalizer tapering off into a tender request.
Why did he persist so strongly? Demand so insistently that she follow him? Go with him into the deep dark night into even more mystery? What fears would she have to conquer as her palm fit smoothly within his own?
What manipulation, scheming, plotting would she be forced to be a part of? The decepticons certainly weren't the kindest or truthful of all beings. But Megatron their great leader, strong, dangerous, downright terrifying to any normal human... Stood face to face with her and-
"Please."
His pleading, set in motives unknown sent her over. Aquarion relents and takes his servo firmly and without another thought.
"Alright then... why don't you show me what I can do?"
Aquarion knew not what path this choice would lead her, but she was sure of one thing. This was going to end terribly.

Hi there! I've been scrolling through your multitude of AU's and I gotta say, I love every single one of 'em! In fact, a month or two ago I think, is when I found one of your post about Smokescreen and it sorta led me fully into the Transformers series as a whole, so thanks for that lol
So my question for the Ghost of Darkmount AU; once things calm down a notch, what do the others think about Predaking actually being on their side? Just this humongous flying lizard that's been "hunting them down" for a while is actually kinda nice (if only to Smokescreen)?
And what do Predaking think of the other Autobots in return? Obviously they're better than the Decepticons by a large margin, but other than that, what's his opinion on them? Is it more of a "You are my Preda-prince's kin, so I'll tolerate you, but if you harm me or him in any way, may the fires of the Pit greet you in death", kinda thing? Or something else?
Is the situation on base when Smokescreen comes back like this:
this absolutely made my day I'm so happy I've dragged you into robo-hell with my brainrot about my favorite character :DDD!!!!
and for the Post-Season 3 Shenanigans, you honestly got most of it right on the head
the Autobots are definitely skeptical and wary, but they can't deny that Predaking has helped them a lot. Things are a bit awkward, but they're trying and Smokescreen is there to help bridge any gaps that may arise from potential "culture" clashing
Aside from Smokescreen, Ratchet is actually the most comfortable around Predaking because of how he helped him on the Nemesis. Ratchet was thrown into that room thinking he'd be torn to pieces, but instead was met with gentle hands that could've ripped his plating off instead helping him up and a booming voice asking if he was alright
In a weird way, Predaking kinda reminded him of Optimus. A bit more violent and prideful yes, but not incapable of gentleness and understanding
Predaking on the other hand is more neutral, and kinda like how you described it as. He's definitely got a "I trust in Smokescreen who trusts in you" thing going on, and if there ever came a day he had to pick between the two he would gladly rip them apart to keep Smokescreen safe
but that day has not come, and they have shown him no reason to bare his claws, so he remains civil and courteous. Smokescreen enjoys their company after all, and Primus knows his friend could do with more companionship
and shjdbvcjhsdbvjhsbdv that meme is absolutely perfect and 100% happens at some point
