Dean wakes up one morning from a wet dream (yes, at his big age).

Who other could have been the subject matter apart from his angel, Castiel?

The dream was wild.

Castiel was smooth-talking and confident, he was hot and heavy with it, and he was doing things with his hips that Dean had never seen before (and he had shared nights with professionals).

Flustered, Dean goes to get out of bed so he can take a hot shower and do away with the result of said dream.

Before he can get up, however, his door opens and Castiel is standing there.

"Dean," He says, phone in hand, his voice deep and attractive as ever.

"Within my email, I have a message informing me that I have won an air fryer. I do not eat, but I figure it could save you a lot of time on dinner since you are mighty fond of fried foods. What is the address to the P.O. box?"

Dean cracks a smile.

"That's a scam, buddy."

Castiel gives him a funny look for smiling at such clearly devastating news, but he accepts the answer and walks away.

Despite Castiel talking to him about air fryers instead of all the things he'd like to do to him, Dean has never been more in love.

Jensen Ackles saw this early script draft and made the choice that Dean would NOT make Cas feel bad for hugging him after the angel thought him dead

In fact, he let Dean be fully embraced by Cas, let him melt into the hug with a soft smile. Dean got to proudly Introduce his angel to Mary without shame or embarrassment, and that’s beautiful

i think a lot of people don’t realise that cas pulling dean out of hell in lazarus rising wasn’t cas pulling dean off the rack, it was cas pulling dean AWAY FROM the rack, away from the people he was torturing

the first time cas touched dean he saw the pain dean was inflicting on other people, saw the way he enjoyed it, and it didn’t change how pure dean was to him, it didn’t make him any less good

I love Sam bc he is so careful and polite and u can watch him put on his little 'I am a trustworthy young man who is so normal and good at socializing' mask when talking to witnesses ooh sympathetic nod hand on the shoulder. But he is SUCH A JUDGY BITCH. someone says something he finds yucky and he makes his patented little chihuahua face of disdain before tucking it away under his bland civil platitudes but every so often he will just toss out the read of the century like it's nothing to him.
