As much as I love watching siblings being absolutely devoted to each other like Julian, Mark, Helen, and Alec are to theirs or even the loving affection between siblings like Kit and Mina, what I'm really looking forward to in TWP is this:

"Tiberius hid," said Drusilla. "In the barn." "It wasn't hiding," said Ty. "It was a strategic retreat." "It was hiding," said Dru.

And this

Drusilla, wearing an overly long cotton skirt that reached her toes, rolled her eyes. "I can't believe you're going," she said to Julian. "The minute you leave, Livvy and Ty start treating me like a servant." "Servants get paid," Ty observed.

Because those were such real sibling moments! I don't want Ty or Dru to be arguing and mad with each other by no means in TWP. But I just love these small moments that remind you that they really are brother and sister even though they look nothing alike.

I feel like Christian, as the character Remy wants him to be, would have worked under a whole different setting: before the colonization really happened, one of the officials of the East India company who doesn't really know much about the company's political plans perhaps? The signs are obvious but he isn't really paying attention to it until he's forced to and then he switches sides but in This Story the colonization has already happened, the British are actively harming the Indians in front of his eyes wtf do you mean by he respects the culture when he is actively involved in his country's attempts to eradicate it????

The characterization she is trying to go for doesn't make sense in the context of this story.

This new season has really made me despise Christian's character. I found myself constantly wishing he would just shut up and stop delivering his prudish dialogue. Enough with his narrow-minded Western perspective 🙏���🙄🙄

Ty and Livvy were the last to come to say good-bye to Jules; Livvy embraced him fiercely, and Ty gave him a soft, shy smile. ... "I've got something for you," Ty said. He held out a box, which Julian took with some surprise. Ty was absolutely punctual about Christmas and birthday presents, but he rarely gave gifts spontaneously. Curious, Julian popped open the top of the box to find a set of colored pencils. He didn't know the brand, but they looked pristine and unused. "Where did you get these?" "Fleet Street," said Ty. "I went out early this morning."

First off, this is one of my favorite Ty moments from TDA. Second off, we can infer from this that gift giving is one of Ty's ways of showing love. So, what if he makes a point of giving Kit his favorite candy or giving him a weapon or stele while they're on their roadtrip? These subtle gestures of love that really convey Ty's true feelings.

(Sidenote: Ty's love language being gift giving is even more apparent to me when I think of how he gave Tavvy's his headphones when the older people were talking about scary stuff in QOAAD and when he gave Dru Church to pet outside the cave while he and Kit went in to meet with Shade/Ragnor.)
