Danny gets summoned by the justice league, but he’s tired, just finished a ghost fight, missed his morning coffee, is running late on several college assignments, and has been summoned multiple times this week.

Or- Danny screams at the justice league for summoning him until someone offers to help with his rogues and homework, not that they really know what they’re offering to do. The summoning is wrapped up, the big bad is defeated, and Danny gets to go home. Too bad that one of the heroes is absolutely infatuated.

i'm unsure. i think any shops that need someone to employ could be a cool plot for tress, but otherwise i'll probably have her wind up at a bakery or working on one of the boat tours in dc. also they're slowly taking some part time college classes

where has your character been pulled from in their fandom

right now i'm in the middle of the book, so in the middle of her journey to try and save charlie. she recently entered the crimson sea, and isn't sure how they got from there to here, but there's enough magic in tress' world that they have a variety of ideas for what might have happened.

technically her given name is glorf. this isn't really important cause they exclusively go by tress but i had to share that knowledge.

okay so! gonna do a small lore dump without too many spoilers just need to know basis

the world building in this book is wild. tress is basically from a planet with twelve seas and twelve moons (i think it's twelve lol) and all of the moons release different spores

the spores make up the ocean, not water, hence why she lives on an emerald sea

when any form of water interacts with these spores they have some sort of effect, like growing into vines, or crystals, or shards, or exploding air. sounds cool, except like humans have water all over their body, and when i say the spores interact with water i mean any water

so essentially they're very dangerous. everyone lines their hours with silver or salt cause that kills the spores

suffice to say tress is going to be pretty stressed seeing their first rainfall here.

she's from an absolutely tiny island where no one is allowed to leave, and snuck onto a ship after finding out charlie, the boy she was in love with, was shipped off to an evil sorceress

she basically accidentally joins pirates, a bunch of shenanigans occur, and now she's here.

she basically became the person who worked with the spores on the ship and she's got some with her here in washington though very carefully sealed they're just for emergencies considering they're the main way she's capable of fighting i wanted her to have some

i understand her implicitly. she would rather risk her life than potentially inconvenience someone else and that is a vibe

pretty naive to the world, though open to learning.

she trusts so easily though it's pretty rough, and always wants to see the best in people. i wouldn't say that she's easy to take advantage of, because tress is pretty practical and smart, but she is the type to given seven thousand second chances because she wants people to be good so badly, and will find even the smallest good trait in people when she shouldn't

smart but that doesn't mean she regularly makes good decisions it just means she will rationalize stupid shit. and so stubborn!!!

very much an overthinker. a great listener but it takes tress a minute to figure out how to talk to other people.

plot ideas

collector buddies: anyone who collects anything please. tress would happily look out for their stuff in exchange for cups and i think it would be cute

in that same vein someone to go to different antique stores with her, again for cups

a roommate. tress is easy to live with and would offer to cook meals

maybe a more difficult character for her to befriend, although tress can handle someone having some bad traits she won't just let you be an asshole to her so we'd have to feel out the vibe

anyone to help her adjust to this world. their island was so small tress can't even fathom the idea of a place where you can't see the ocean no matter where you go. this is all going to be extremely weird to her. she's a good cook. will exchange baked goods for assistance.

as mentioned up above anyone who has some sort of shop and needs an employee this could be cool

i have actually been considered taking up chu wanning for at least a year now so i’m glad i finally had reason to do it (group effort to 800 🥰). i cannot in good conscience recommend the webnovel that he’s from, but i can say that the author, meatbun, must have put some wild ingredients in this book because PHEW chu wanning’s character is sure something else and i really adore him. a lot. intro information under the cut

uhhhhhhh the timeline of his character arc is all kinds of fucked up but i’m going to say he’s vaguely from the current lifetime instead of his past lifetime?

he is the “white cat” of the title, as in: he’s got the personality of a perpetually annoyed housecat.

chu wanning is, at all times, a bundle of contradictions. he’s very upright and strict but his home is an absolute disaster of a mess. he doesn’t show affection even though he’s extraordinarily soft-hearted, but he would die of embarrassment if anyone knew that so he constantly tries to metaphorically hiss and claw at people to keep them away. he’s aware that he’s unlikable but does absolutely nothing to try and alter that. 

he’s absurdly dedicated to righteousness and following the rules, and will take that to extremes. unfrotunately.

ultimately he does try to do what he thinks is right and what he thinks may help others. however, those good intentions don’t always come across due to the fact that he doesn’t even bother try to explain himself, because he has no healthy communication skills whatsoever and will never correct people when they misconstrue his actions.

back home, he was one of the many elders of sisheng peak sect (which is like, near sichuan?), in the lower cultivation realm. he is also the shizun of the title so i think him being a teacher here as well will fit him. 

in this novel’s flavor of xianxia, everyone’s spiritual core is aligned with one of the five elements, and chu wanning’s is special because it stems from two elements, metal and wood. however, because of ~reasons~, his spiritual core has been damaged so even though it’s inherently strong, it’s also very situationally fragile. 

he’s so cool that he has THREE spiritual devices that he can summon from his spiritual core at will, one of which is a willow vine that, when wrapped around someone else, forces them to tell the truth. he won’t be using that much here, for obvious reasons. but it’s there as a plot option lol. his other two weapons are a sword and a quqin.

his backstory SUCKS like his first life was BAD so that’s why i’m bringing him from his current timeline instead. since i personally think he deserves nice things

modern sam seaborn headcanons

more modern west wing! sorry i’m actually not done with these.

it’s very important to me and non-negotiable that a 2021 sam seaborn is openly, unapologetically, and disastrously gay. he never was closeted so he doesn’t think it’s a big deal and doesn’t really bring it up. 

this utterly confounds most of the senior staff (excluding josh for obvious reasons [bi josh headcanons coming to a dash near you soon] and ainsley, who figured out sam’s mlm after a breathtakingly awkward attempt at asking him out, bless her) 

sam acquires  a mass following on stan twitter (like obama’s hot speechwriter!!) and it completely gets out of hand. secret service gets involved when a @WhatSamsWearingToday account manages to get a picture of sam in the oval office. cj is getting questions about fanfic in the press room, toby draws the short stick and ends up having to explain to leo what exactly the omegaverse is and why it’s an issue that the presidential seal is being associated with it 

hey remember how in season one they told us sam is a passionate, hobbyist sailor and then literally never revisited it? well in 2021, sam has a sailing vlog that he puts an absurd amount of effort into. he walks viewers through prepping, techniques, equipment, and then does cool shots on the water where he explains political concepts and the like. he’s getting very popular, and donates all the proceeds dc school funds 

sam is dc’s most eligible bachelor but his love life is a screwball comedy of errors. not once in his life has he been able to successfully pick up on the fact that handsome business man of the week is trying to buy him a drink. he just thought the dude was really interested in sam’s hot takes on geology

sam gets canceled on tiktok for supporting fast fashion after a video of him wearing a shein frog bucket hat gets leaked. what tiktok doesn’t know is that it’s actually toby’s hat. 

i got into this in my most recent fic but sam has A LOT of opinions on princess diana, meghan markle, and the rest of the royals. it’s beginning to become something of a foreigns relations crisis because he keeps putting in subtle anti-charles messaging in whenever they’re writing for uk stuff

despite being a man of the 21st-and-2-decades-century, sam is desperately out of touch. he’s can quote maybe three vines at best, and is frightened deeply by tiktok. his instagram still has the auto-post on facebook feature activated and he doesn’t know how to turn it off, which josh thinks is very funny

after josh makes a particularly embarrassing blunder with the senate, cj comes up with the brilliant idea to collaborate with vogue to do one of those “the bartlet admin senior staff answer 73 questions” videos where they essentially do walk-and-talks. you’d think this would go over well but sam gets so overwhelmed by a question about his zodiac sign that he flips over a chair and knocks down donna. the clip goes viral so i guess cj’s plan to distract from josh worked out in the end lol

what starkid show should i watch? i’ve just watched the very potter musicals

My personal favourite is The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals, so I'd rec that first.

I will say this tho: In general, Starkid has roughly 2 types of shows: Humour with Heart (Mainly comedy with emotional moments), and Heart with Humour (Still funny, but there's a deeper emotional story). It really depends on which type of musical you like more.

Humour with Heart musicals:

AVPM (at least 1 and 2, I havent seen AVPSY lol)

Firebringer (chaotic queer cavepeople. You ever see the "I don't really wanna do the work today" vine? Thats from Firebringer)

The Trail to Oregon (Oregon Trail game but as a musical. Extremely silly and chaos filled. A personal pick me up favourite)

The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals (Singing aliens invade a small town and chase down a guy who hates musicals. This teeters on Heart with Humour bc it's a dark comedy with some gore, but I find it mostly funny)

Holy Musical Batman (Batman vs Superman but actually good. Excellent villain and songs. I dont know shit about DC but was able to follow along easily. Batman and Superman scream "fuck you" at each other in song.)

Heart with Humour musicals:

Twisted (Ya know how Wicked makes the Wicked Witch from Wizard of Oz into a tragic hero? Well Starkid does that with Jafar from Aladdin. My first Starkid show, and considered by many to be one of if not the best show.)

Black Friday (A doll totally not based on Cthulhu takes hold of a small town mall and drives miserable adults into a violent frenzy. Takes place in the same town as The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals. Technically not a sequel to TGWDLM, but there's a few returning characters and references to TGWDLM. Despite it not being my ultimate fave SK show, this is the one I make the most fancontent for)

Ani (Star Wars parody. Didn't like the MC and didn't finish it, but some people really like it. Obi Wan is fucking hilarious.)

Me and My Dick (Never saw it due to the recording quality being sorta bad + genital humour isn't my cup of tea. That being said, I know other people who genuinely enjoy it.)

Starship (It's like Aliens and The Little Mermaid had a weird, puppet filled baby ft probably my fave musical villain song of all time. I think it's more humour, but it's been so long that I can't really remember)

Nightmare Time (Little Zoom plays based off of Hatchetfield, the place from Black Friday and The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals. Don't watch until you've watched both BF and TGWDLM. Weird and dark and strange, but good)

Basically what I'm trying to say is: What Starkid show you should watch really depends on your mood. I love Twisted but if I watch it when I'm in the mood for a silly fun musical, it doesn't seem as good. If I'm in the mood for overall fun I do TGWDLM, overall emotional story I do Twisted, and overall silly fun time I do The Trail to Oregon.

fire. he's able to start it, besides dominating and bending it over to his own will. sometimes uses it for (partial) evil and more. being the anti hero i think he is, i would LOVE to see lucas playing with fire while delivering a speech that instigates the good guy in front of him. in a cool, well cut, all black suit with just one (1) red scarf on the lapel, or his neck, he would look amazing sending blazes everywhere! i even have a song for him: play with fire. aaaah the idea of lucas and fire sends me to heaven, hell, purgatory and back! he can be like tuxedo mask, regarding how he annoys everyone with his smugness.

colossus. strength and possibility of turning into a dense metal at will? gary is perfect for it! he has the body shape and weight, and the skills for the maintenance. picture this: you walk down the hallway to go to the bathroom, only to hear him moaning in there. you're uncomfortable, thinking the worst, only to open the door and see him oiling his joints and almost falling on the floor. "a little help? i can't reach some places..." please, give me metal body gary, it would clear all my trauma! plus, as he is in the villa, he would exercise his comic relief role.

carl

brainiac with technology/time bending. (@lasswithumor's idea for 'time' makes me smile! thank you for the inspo!) not actual brainiac from dc though, let me explain. i always get the sense carl could be tony stark or bruce wayne, minus the assholery. he's much humbler and quiet, but still very capable. as for time bending being his power, it could make him overcome this sense of running out of time he always seems to have. he might have a hardship about it because he never seems to find a balance, so this skill is probably the only thing he could actually be good at, and benefit from.

noah

talking to the dead, like klaus hargreeves. something i would love to see is how tormented he would be while it happens. distressed noah is a beautiful concept, and part of the reason why he would be such a troubled character. picture this: he uses those people to fight in exchange of favors, like finding out who killed them, or to tell their families how peaceful they are now, among other things. noah and ghosts ring different to me, and the thought of him being troubled? even more! not like klaus, but definitely close to that. i love that "short temper" side of him, and in this context, it would be perfect. plus, his looks being similar to something from the 1920's, without the hat. so white shirt, suspenders, dark brown pants. ugh, he would look so good in it!

vines and plant banding, like layla williams in sky high. there's no other answer for him. i thought about making him avalanche, from x men, but i see him more connected to plants than any other element of nature. the way he would smirk and grow a small vine around his pinky while talking about a brilliant idea he just had? PLEASE. GIVE - IT - TO - ME, I LIVE FOR SMUG HENRIK! and you can be damn sure his looks would include this ponytail, by @juggalohenrik.

kassam

at first i thought invisibility, because of his personality and how he behaves in groups, but then it hit me, supersonic scream. he can take his frustrations out on a single booming scream and be done with it. i would love to see kassam being teased and beat up, only to get up from the ground, scrapes all over, bloody nose, only to position himself and close his fists to focus, before delivering a resounding scream to round it up real nicely. that's definitely a power he would find useful and excels in. the visuals definitely don't hurt either!

bobby

he's a very peculiar boy, and so his powers would have to be too. it might sound crazy, but hear me out! laughter inducement. the power itself can cause the person to laugh so hard, eventually the air is expelled from their lungs and they have quite the death! it's gruesome and i love it, it's the perfect juxtaposition between it and bobby's personality that is so bubbly. picture this: battlefield, gary smugly says "i guess that's the only way you could make someone laugh." to which bobby replies with a laugh "including you, tin can" while making colossus!gary laugh and fall on the floor because of it. it might require lots of energy, so bobby can't always cause mass laughter, just like in the villa... jk jk jk! i just know his uniform would be clown like, before priya adjusted to a beautiful dark teal piece. before that? goofy pink mask and cape with sprinkles, and tights everywhere else. he would also be the type of hero that is a comic relief. ironically, in this case.

rogue. the power and the visuals fit in so well! sucking up someone's power and/or energy SCREAMS lottie's personality all over! if i could adjust it so the girl doesn't manifest it unless she wants to, that's even better. lottie with dark hair and a streak of platinum, or the opposite, would look another level and i'm here for it! plus, the gloves... AAAAH THE GLOVES. she would smirk before taking them off and turning that grin into a determined smug expression before touching her enemy. PLEASE!

TURNING - PEOPLE - INTO - GOLD. i said what i said. similar to medusa's power of turning people into stone. flowy dresses for the goddess looks, a smirk on her lips while she does it, and golden shiny eyes that glow bright when she throws her gold curse upon her enemy! she's goofy, so you know she has a cheesy catchphrase, but i can't think of anything right now. it's there, i just need to find it.

mind control. CAN I JUST SAY? she practically has that power already. being persuasive and having the power of negotiation the way she already does would fit in perfectly. and if i may add, storm looks like the uniform and the "bright white eyes" while it happens???also! hope as the person who plans the attacks and defense.

persuasion. similar to allison hargreeves. one word and they will do it. at first i considered super strength, for being so unexpected to someone that petit, but if you account for her personality, persuasion as a super power is so much cooler! plus, she doesn't have to try hard, the seed of argumentation is already there. in her origin story you could have marisol having a moral grey area where she debates whether or not using those powers in court. i would love to see this dilemma and her going through it, since there's a clear distinction in what she considers right and wrong, and the ethically correct options to choose. as looks go, all she needs is a suit, similar to the prom one, and definitely a ponytail and gloves.

ibrahim.

flying and speed. something about rahim screams traditional super hero persona and i can't help but stir into it. he's perfect for the superman alter ego, the one that talks about justice and fights the big guy for the little ones. rahim has a way of going around and making people's lives better, at least that's how i see him. i asked for @itsrealityboo 's approval about this, because you know, she's the authority on golf boy, and she added something really cool that i hadn't thought about: "I will say that I could definitely see Rahim as a part of a team tho, like the fantastic four! I think because of his insecurities, he’s need some type of support system or even older mentor. He’d definitely go through that awkward phase of learning how to manage his powers if he wasn’t born with them lol"

i definitely agree after reading it, it makes so much sense! i don't know if that need comes from being the younger brother, or having those expectations at home (about being suave and all) but that would for sure be a part of his origin story as a superhero.

Spencer parks in front of your apartment building and stays in his seat as you get out. You both had decided that packing up right away and not going to lunch was better. That way, you can learn more about each other on the way there. You couldn't wait to get inside that smarty-pants brain of his and find out what's really going on in there.

You shut the car door and start walking, but stop when you don't hear his footsteps behind you. When you walk back to the car, you see Spencer sticking his battery in the cigarette lighter to charge.

"You're more than welcome to come in, y'know." You chuckled.

Spencer looks up at you, licking his lips as he moves some of his hair behind his ear. "It's ok, I don't want to bother."

"You won't be a bother. I've been to yours, now you can come into mine."

"Oh, so that's how that works huh? You have to go into the guys apartment before the guy goes to yours?" Spencer said sarcastically.

"You know what I mean!" You pull open the car and grab his hand, "C'mon, Spence. You'll be fine!"

He giggles under his breath and comes out of the car. After locking it, the two of you head inside and up the elevator to the 4th floor. Once at your door, you unlock it and open up to 4 paws jumping onto you. You hear Spencer gasp in surprise and giggle at his reaction, making it seem like you were giggling at your two buddies. Sitting on your old couch was your next door neighbor, Seth, who was watching Pose on the tv.

"Thank you again for watching the boys while I was gone. I really owe you big time for doing this." you say as you get up from the floor.

Seth gets off of the couch and walks up to you to give you a hug. "Anytime! If anything, they can stay at my place when you go on a case-" He stops and looks over at Spencer, standing awkwardly by the door still and letting the dogs sniff him, "Although, it seems like this new case was a success."

"Shut up, Seth!" You giggle, lightly slapping him on the arm. Realizing you forgot your manners, you quickly try to take it back. "Seth, meet Dr.Spencer Reid. Doc, meet my neighbor, Seth."

Seth reached his hand out to shake, but Spencer politely denies. "Sorry, I-I don't shake hands. It's actually been proven that it's safer to kiss." You catch Seth's eyes looking him up and down. "Seth stop teasing him like that!" You laugh. Spencer wasn't into guys, but somehow Seth looking at him made you a little jealous. You're not even dating the man, y/n shut up, you think to yourself.

"You and I will talk later." He says.

"Oh, Spence! These are my babies. The scottie is Benedict and the husky is Draco."

The room went silent for a moment, Spencer trying to hold in a chuckle. "Yes, I did name them after Benedict Cumberbatch and Draco Malfoy. I've had them picked out since I was a teenager, don't judge."

"Oh c'mon hun," said Seth, "it's adorable that you named them the way you did."

"It is," Spencer spoke, "I didn't depict you as a nerd."

"Oh my god, you kidding? She's probably the biggest nerd I've ever met with all her Sherlock and other crime shows, Harry Potter, Doctor Wh-"

"Ok, I think he gets it Seth!" You cut him off. That was enough embarrassment for today.

"I will say, Benedict or Tom Felton could always come my way."

You slap him on the arm again laughing. You look back at Spencer, who was awkwardly chuckling along with. You then announce that you were going to get in the shower. "Seth, can you take them for a few more nights? We're going up to my dad's cabin back home for the weekend. Also, when I get out and do my makeup, you promised me that you would tell me how your date went last night with 'Mr.Perfect' as you said it."

"Bitch I have ALLLLLL the tea that I'm not missing on spilling!"

"Good. Now you two get along. And Spence," He looks up at you, his hazel eyes looking into you...

"Don't miss me too much, hm?"

Then you walked into your bathroom, trying to wrap your brain on the fact that you just said that to him.

                           ~Spencer's POV~ I can't believe she said that.

She left me here a little turned on. I could start feeling my pants getting tight and had to put my bag over myself as I sat on the couch so then I wouldn't embarrass myself in front of Seth. I looked around her apartment to distract myself of thoughts of being in the shower with her. She had a very interesting aesthetic. Walls white with old picture frames that had beautifully taken old photos in them. The lamps that were in the living room looked like they were from the 70's, old gold coating chipped off at some parts of the stand. While there was a vintage look to her place, it was also very modern at the same time, a minimalistic look took over her kitchen. She had a fake vine hanging from the wall behind her tv, some of it covering her maroon record player. In some ways, our aesthetics were similar. If she had a bookcase in here, I'd feel like I was at my place.

Seth and I began to get to know each other. I came to find out that Seth worked as a bartender at a club, and he enjoyed taking photos for his social media. "I would love to be a photographer," he said, "but right now it's just a hobby that I do mostly during the colder months." He says cold, cloudy days (especially if it's raining) were the best times to take photos, in his opinion.

"So," he says, "you work with y/n at the BAU?"

"Yeah, we've really become good friends in the past 9 days. It's like we've known each other for years. Plus, she's great out on the field. She's definitely someone myself and the rest of the team will never take for granted."

1. One food you hate that everyone else likes? Peanut butter! I only like it with chocolate and I refuse to eat it otherwise.

2. What was your last dream about? To be honest, I don’t usually remember my dreams - sorry to disappoint!

3. One pop culture thing everyone seems to like that you just can’t get into? As of right now, Marvel/DC and Star Wars but I’m hoping that’ll change once I actually have a chance to sit down and really watch them all.

4. Name of the last playlist you made? It’s just called “Against the Current” because it’s a playlist of all of Against the Current’s covers and original songs - they’re my favorite band of all time : )

5. One good thing that happened today? I got to read more of my current read this morning and I’m hoping I’ll get to read more later once I’m finished my homework for the day.

6. What is your favorite TV show or movie from childhood? Definitely Cyberchase, which was on PBS Kids!! That show was EVERYTHING to me.

(Im so sorry if I’ve already submitted this girl). I have a gal. Her name is Poppy. She’s the niece of the deputy-like rogue cat Fang, who is working under a rogue leader called Vine. Poppy meets with a DarkClan cat, Scorchpaw, alongside Fang, who is hoping to gain his trust and learn his Clan’s weaknesses. Vine and Fang work to drive DC out of their territory, and Poppy resents this. She becomes a friend to Scorchpaw, and when Fang asks her to spy, she flips it and feeds info to the Clan, helping them to fight off the rogues. She is soon welcomed in and given the name Poppyclaw, after her mother named Claw (who also turnscoat and helps the Clan) She’s first introduced as very skinny, ribs visible, eating like she’d never seen prey. As time goes by, Newleaf arriving and she learns to care for herself, she grows strong and confident.

She’s never seen a butterfly, and certainly not a cocoon. I like to think the butterfly will emerge around the time she gets her name, as a symbol of how she’s grown from something small to something beautiful and powerful.

Lol I just did this, so: Amber, Jinjin, Onew, S.coups, Wonpil (though if we can double from groups my girl Luna would 100% be here)

3) Ult Bias group and why you love them?

f(x) - they were my first group and will forever be my ults. I just love how unique they are both as a group and each member individually! Every member shines so much in their own way and can absolutely stand as artists in their own right (and have been proving so with their solo projects the past 2+ years), and when they come together they create things that are so cool and beautiful and unique 💜 Honest to god after I sat down and listened to their whole discography on Spotify for the first time, I listened to nothing but them 8+ hrs a day, 7 days a week for almost a month I was so in love (i'm not exaggerating you can ask my roommate aldbaj) (SM please let us have f(4) again I would literally cry). That being said I also consider ASTRO and SHINee to be ults, and could write whole paragraphs for them as well 💕 

(but y’all please support my girls, Victoria put out a Chinese single and should be following with an album, Amber’s halfway through releasing videos for her mixtape & Luna is releasing 2 digital singles this coming week! Krystal has no musical projects atm but you can check out her dramas and modeling~)

4) Ult Bias and why you love them?

My kpop origin story revolves around me coming across the Electric Shock mv in 2013 and being both in love with and absolutely floored by Amber. A girl? In a girl idol group? With short hair?? Who presents in a masculine way?? I couldn’t believe it was something the companies would let happen and it was so. I don't even know. But I knew it was really meaningful and important to me. 3 years later I actually fully listen to the group (honestly thank got I needed new music to listen to at work) and I finally learned her name - Amber Liu. I'm someone who id's as nonbinary, and I've really struggled with my perceived femininity my whole life - its something I'm still working through. When I saw Amber, a person working in a very gender stereotype-heavy industry and culture, being able to present in the way she's comfortable and standing up for the rights of others to do the same, it just really touched me on a deep personal level. Even though I know she id's as cishet she still has done a lot for those of us that don't, and I'm sooo insanely proud of her for sticking to her guns and choosing to live her truth through all of the hell people have given and continue to give her for it. Not only has she stuck it to the haters by prospering, but she's taken her experiences and her talents and made them into absolutely beautiful works of art. 

She uses her music to express her feelings and talk about her struggles, and the fact that her work is so personal and has so much of her in it also means a lot to me (please listen to Borders, Need to Feel Needed, Beautiful, Heights, and this cover of One More Light NOTE: if self harm is a bad topic for you, maybe skip One More Light and the Borders mv (the song is fine and ultimately uplifting, and the mv does end happily). She has worked so. damn. hard. to pursue her dreams and passions, often having to rely on just herself and her friends to work when SM just straight up refuses to do their JOB as her MANAGEMENT COMPANY, and somehow she keeps doing it with that beautiful smile.

Aside from all the gooshy stuff, she’s just really goofy and fun (and attractive >>) AND she was born just 2 months before me so I feel there’s a connection (also my parents considered naming me Amber and she considered my name as a stage name??? #starcrossedlovers). Finally she has literally the cutest dog in the world please look at this picture and cry with me
