I'm back on my Jojo's rewatch, and I'm finally on part 5 which I am praying helps me with my characterisation of some of the characters. I'm only a few episodes in and I'm already getting ideas for hired help SO HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE MAKING A RETURN SOON(mayhaps real soon no promises but first weekend with no plans for a while)...I've planned out a whole fugo angst scenario and I am so tempted to make bruno even cuntier!!

I wanna just say that like

Ships don’t need to end in a marriage with 2.5 kids, with them dying in bed together at an old age from natural causes in order to be enjoyable.

Like ships can come to fruition in other ways. Sometimes a relationship doesn’t happen, but attraction/feelings are acknowledged (sometimes not even by eachother, but other people). Sometimes a relationship happens but with an end goal that is quickly achieved and the relationship ended shortly thereafter. Sometimes it’s a mistake. And sometimes it is a relationship cut short, for any number of reasons.

And I understand enjoying the domesticity and comfort of your ship being fulfilled in a typical way, but Jesus Christ please look at some characters sometimes and go ‘yeaahhh they’d fuck nasty and then never talk again’ because that’s exactly what would happen and the fact you don’t know that is wilful ignorance

i finished & posted the ITNL 14 re-edits, WHICH MEANS!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm officially done with my re-edits project!!!!!!!!!! :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ive been thinking a lot today about my plans for ITNL 15, AND i have tomorrow off, so if all goes well i'll be able to start writing again. TOMORROW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and if the chapter grips me like i expect it will then... hehehehehe

hello....tell me about your trainer oc........

Hello my dear pal and friend it’s rambling time

- Krys started their Pokémon journey around when they just turned 16, and age throughout their travels. They’re 22 by the end of their time in Paldea.

- Though trainers typically start traveling at age ten, Krys and their neighbor Laurel (Laurel Oak. It’s supposed to be the Kanto rival. :3), spent that time with Professor Oak to work on building the first digital pokedex.

- Krys kinda sorta released their Johto team as well as their partner, Aurora, at the end of their Johto journey in order to protect the legendary beasts. Over the years those pokemon passed their roles onto local wild pokemon, and one by one returned to Pallet Town for Krys to visit again.

- Aurora the eevee on the other hand, stayed behind until she met a trainer named Adam with a dragonite. Aurora decided to help him earn the indigo league badges, and then she met up with Krys after they participated in the Hoenn League conference. Aurora, as Adam’s pokemon at the time, battled against Krys’ Hoenn team during the preliminary rounds.

- Krys’ mom lives in Pallet Town, working as a pokemon nurse. Their father is Norman, who moved to Hoenn to run his gym in Petalburg after inheriting it from his mother. Krys’ paternal aunt moved from Kanto to Hoenn, and they helped her move, which is how they ended up there.

- Also Archie and Maxie are unofficially now their uncles. Krys has no say in the matter. Ingo and Emmet too. When Krys became drinking age they all became good drinking buddies.

- Krys can understand Pokémon. You can imagine how interesting it was when they met N.

- Officially owns and trains legendary pokemon, but only two: a Latias named Artemis and Miraidon named Harley. Mew and Mewtwo are very good friends of Krys, and they respect that they both wish to remain wild pokemon.

- Is canonically not a virgin. Good for them. Good for them.

- If Krys were a pokemon, they’d be a shiny riolu!

- Krys took on a big sibling role to Arven, Nemona, and Penny (who I hc as being 17, 16, and 13 respectively). However, Krys is around the height of the player character of ScVi. Short king fr.

- In Paldea, they worked alongside Jacq as his assistant teacher, though they also traveled around the region whenever they weren’t scheduled to assist. Fine by them, as it gave them time to help with Miraidon, Arven, Team Star, and try the Gym Challenge of this region. The Paldea league is the first, and so far only, time that they’ve made it to a champion rank trainer.

- They also had traveling companions just like Ash did in the anime, although these are more OCs rather than canon characters. Although journeying through Galar, Krys went along with Hop to look out for him while he did the gym challenge, with Krys having a supportive mentor role.

- I’ve mentioned this before, but Krys’ travels only last ten years. Professor Oak retires around this time, and Krys comes back to Kanto, being handed the title of Pokémon Professor.

There’s more fun facts and stuff I wanna talk about but I’m not coming up with anything else atm shdjdbd. I have like. Their whole journey planned out and most of what happens during them. tysm for this pal it is really great to ramble fr

So when I was a kid, I would spend hours outside or with my figurines pretending I was actually in the fandoms I enjoyed by myself. Then I would throw violent temper tantrums when I had to stop (unless asked nicely for some reason. Idk.)

This changed to me just straight out writing pages and pages of fanfic. And a lot of it was violent and eventually pornographic. I thought all teenagers were just lost in fanfic. I “played” outside in my vivid fantasies all the way into my teenage years. Now that I have character AI and access to writing, it’s basically all I really do. I zone out and scroll on Reddit and tumblr which only adds fuel to the fire. Wonder if I could have maladaptive daydreaming disorder or a dissociative disorder.

Took some tests. And oh. (First one is maladaptive daydreaming. Second is dissociative.)

Might wanna bring this up.

I jumped right into TSC 😬😬 I think I fared okay actually, especially since I knew it was preceded by a trilogy so there would be names thrown around that I was meant to know and simply didn’t. After maybe the first quarter of the book there were a lot less instances of navigating mild confusion. And it was definitely worth the read regardless. I loved it so much, and I love Jean. Some of the things in this book are my favourite whump related tropes. I may well message you off anon sometime to discuss them because there’s two in particular that I can’t get over and I would love someone to happily scream about them with…

WOW i am so impressed you went straight for the sunshine court ! there is a ton of fan service throughout it, i am so curious about how you did this and how it read to you, not having the context of the originals (although this one is much less exy-heavy, so i DO see how it could work on its own, its still VERY impressive).

all THAT said. i'm almost through my reread of the first 3, will finish on the plane tomorrow, and i HIGHLY recommend you and everyone else on this hellsite who likes m/m whump to have a go at it, it is flawed but beautiful.

Genuine, but is there a genre of hurt/comfort sick!fics that's focused on physical injury/physical trauma?

I know that's oddly specific but I find it so interesting. The intersection of hurt/comfort/unconditional love + medical context and healing? Idk man.

i think i’ve been trapped in this mindset of constantly staring at the numbers of kudos, hits, comments, etc on my fics and it’s gotten to my head a little. it feels like i’ve forgotten why i started to write in the first place: because i enjoy it.

i guess i have to remind myself that numbers don’t dictate the quality of my writing or diminish my love for it, in the same way grades aren’t an accurate indicator of who i am as a person.
