💁🏿‍♂️The Flash has SO much more mythos to explore beside Flashpoint. Plenty of speedsters & allies, plenty of Rogues & other antagonists.

Whether y'all know / respect them or not, they are there.

-could easily sustain multiple simultaneous, continuing comic titles (even if its just a main Flash title & a slice-of-life, like a speedster version of Batman: Wayne Family Adventures)

-should have multiple seasons of an animated TV show

Guel was just trying to do the right thing from the moment he saw Sedo, because their fates are linked together from their last encounter, and from Guel's desperate attempt to try and save Seethia's life. Sedo just wanted to advance his station, and to get out of the hellish lot in life he has found himself in. The presence of Kenanji changed everything though, because Sedo's off hand remark about "Prince" which meant nothing to Guel does to him, and because of that, they're able to crack the whole case open and figure out what Shaddiq has been up to this entire time.

Two figures were stooped amongst the carefully plotted rows of green. He drifted toward them.

He knew her by the golden-brown hair, so much lighter in the summer sun. Her skin had turned a lovely deep brown, and her eyes ...

It was a child's face, lit with joy, that looked upon the woman kneeling in the dirt, pointing toward a pale green plant with slender purple cones of blossoms swaying in the warm breeze. The woman asked, "And that one?"

"Salvia," the child--no more than nine--answered.

"And what does it do?"

The girl beamed, chin rising as she recited,

"Good for improving memory, alertness, mood.

Also assists with fertility, digestion, and, in a salve, can help numb the skin."

"Excellent."

The girl's broad smile revealed three missing teeth.

The woman--her mother--took the girl's round face in her hands. Her skin was darker than her daughter's, her hair a thicker, bouncier curl. But their builds …. It was the woman's build that the girl would grow into one day. The freckles that she'd inherit. The nose and mouth.

"You have been studying, my wise child."

The woman kissed her daughter on her sweaty brow.

He felt the kiss--the love in it--even as a ghost at the gate.

For it was love that shaded the entirety of the world here, gilded it. Love and joy.

Happiness.

The sort he had not known with his own family. Or anyone else.

The girl had been loved. Deeply. Unconditionally. This was a happy memory--one of a few.

"And what is that bush, there by the wall?" the woman asked the girl. Her brow scrunched in concentration. "Gooseberries?" "Yes. And what do we do with gooseberries?"

The girl braced her hands on her hips, her simple dress blowing in the dry, warm breeze.

"We..." She tapped her foot with impatience--at her own mind, for not recalling. The same irritation he'd seen outside that old man's house in Antica.

Her mother crept up behind her, sweeping the girl into her arms and kissing her cheek. "We make gooseberry pie."

The girl's squeal of delight echoed across the amber grasses and clear streams, even into the tangled, ancient heart of Oakwald.

I’m thinking they’ll throw us a bone with at least one Paldea Spotlight, and I picked Kofu, because I imagine Hassel and Brassius’s event to be art-centric, so by adding Kofu, I can also incorporate Siebold. Even better, we get a F2P Paldea pair in Juliana (I remember seeing that Florian was more popular in Japan, so that’s why I made him the Fair banner as opposed to Juliana. Throw in Arven, and that’s some damn fine pre-anniversary bait!

As for the anniversary itself, anniversaries mean Master Fairs, and Master Fairs mean Neo Champions! And now it’s Sinnoh’s turn! Not sure what this means for Rei and Akari down the line, but what would their Neo Champion alts even BE? Manaphy and Shaymin, I guess?

And every anniversary update has at least one Kanto-centric event tied to it, so I figured with Sinnoh Neo Champions taking priority this anniversary, make a Let’s Go-centric event for the B-story!

And no, I’m not even gonna TRY to predict the BP pairs beyond Morgan finally showing up! And even then, Bianca just sniped Virizion from her, so… Terrakion, I guess?
