As much as I love all the Sangfielle PCs, I have to say my favorite characters this season are absolutely (in no particular order):

Aterika'Kaal: a little rose bush god who just wants some sunlight and water (and maybe to destroy the world)

Davia Pledge: badass old woman who is absolutely about to kill a bunch of aristocrats and cops to get revenge for her dead girlfriend

Dyre Ode: quote, "Dyre with a Y but Ode as you'd like, a poem said in praise or a debt gone unpaid. It bothers me little how you spell that name."

Honorable mention to Slumbous, god of putting one's candles out at night, who hasn't appeared personally but is one of my favorite characters in anything ever.

I just finished the perpetual oratorio of davia pledge arc and I am. Gripping lye lychen like a dog toy. He's so fucking FASCINATING and I'm especially thinking about the ravening beast like. It could've killed him!! It wants to kill him and very much nearly did kill him earlier in the arc but it /didn't/ it purposefully dragged him, literally, out of danger so that he would live because /it is the only thing allowed to kill him/

It saved him from his own hubris and then barked in his face so he knew it wasn't an act of mercy, it was a THREAT I'm losing my mind. Podcasts good

I know this is not a particularly wild take I simply believe Davia Pledge should be allowed to murder the richest people in Sapodilla. Now I’m only starting the ep so this could change but. Let her have little a karmic retribution. As a treat.
