thinking about gender today, put chine in a dress,

#my art#botanical#beardtongue#i think i found out that i still prefer watercolors but the black guache is fun to finish up with#very carefully painting a solid black background is sort of therapeutic#and the one art rule that stuck in my head from highschool (last time o took an art class lol) was that you should never use black#like you should mix your own black when painting?#this may have just been my teachers opinion but it stuck#which is to say that i have no other use for the black paint because i will not use it in the painting itself so i may as well waste it

friend, the crucial difference is that cohost and twitter-lite both allow(/ed) human beings to express a very very normal and often important part of being an adult animal?? cohost, in theory, had an EXCELLENT handling of adult content and content warnings etc etc. bluesky is .. fine i guess. iām still not enthusiastic about it but what are you supposed to do?
tumblr WOULD be the obvious choice but i cannot stress enough how bizarrely alienating it feels to be in a space that asserts that depictions of sex are inherently dangerous.
despite my nonexistence here lately, i still think that if tumblr allowed adult content again itād be the superior social media platform.. i love the tagging, i love the ways you can arrange images in a post. i love no word limit? the additive reblogging/thread format?? fucked up that you canāt just be an adult on the internet
