man, sometimes you start plotting out an AU, and you realize that it is going to be of interest to basically no one, so you sigh and decide that it stays on the discord forever

#specifically I’m playing with a gortash redemption postcanon #but it comes from a sort of ‘bad timeline’ ie on my very first run I fucked up Astarion’s romance and never got his act 2 scene #moved on to act 3 without realizing I had done this #got COLD dumped #and just started extrapolating how fucking miserable my Durge would be about it #like Ryla would still slog through and save the world #but I’m durgetash garbage so part of saving the world #in the end #meant killing the only person who ever loved Ryla #and he regrets it. and he’s miserable #and alone #so he goes to withers like “please just one more resurrection #Enver deserves the chance I got #to try and be better #and withers is like well. This makes my favorite mortal happy AND it will make bane SOOOOO MAD.#I see no downsides #so gortash gets a lil true rexzy and he and Ryla get to go on a life changing field trip #but NO ONE wants to read this and I fear for the wank that might come #since Astarion looks kinda. Bad. in this AU #and I’ve had people get mad in my comments over characters that haven’t appeared onscreen/had a chance to speak for themselves yet before #and it was really frustrating and upsetting #and I just don’t wanna do that again

Might be showing my age a little bit here, but did any of you guys also play Super Princess Peach on the DS when you were kids? It was one of my favorite DS games when I was younger, and the impending release of Princess Peach Showtime has gotten me thinking about it again. I still have my cartridge for it, and I also still have the original case and instruction booklet that came with it.

Even after all these years it still works too! Can’t believe that this game is almost twenty years old!

#text post #not Kirby #I’m going to be really sad if Princess Peach Showtime ends up being bad #I don’t want to have waited almost two decades for another Peach game only for it to be terrible #I loved Super Princess Peach when I was a kid it was one of my favorite DS games #I think it was also one of my first DS games #the very first ones I remember playing on my DS are this Nintendogs New Super Mario Bros DS and Sonic Rush #I also played Kirby Squeak Squad and Super Star Ultra a lot as a kid Squeak Squad was my first Kirby game #I know people tend to not like Squeak Squad that much in the fandom but I like it even if the whole cake storyline is kind of silly #I played it so much as a kid that I think the soundtrack is permanently embedded into my brain lmao #I have a lot of nostalgia for the DS as a console and also for the Wii #those were like the two main consoles I played games on as a kid they were a big part of my childhood #I have a lot of happy memories of playing games on these consoles they both had a really good selection of games #not sure if anyone else gets this feeling when they revisit games from their childhood #but for me playing through my old childhood games again feels a little like visiting an old friend you haven’t seen in a while #there’s something comforting about it like it’s familiar and it brings back happy memories #I’m glad that I still have all of my old DS games it’s nice to revisit them now and then

#changing it up a bit i need the helmet for poise and it looks kind of nice but i might change it #i don’t want to just dress the exact same as the npc LOL even though all his armor boosts shit…#i liked my uh blood soaked thing but tbh it was showing both my eyes when he only has one.#sote spoilers #anyway official review of the dlc: IT WAS GREAT!!!!!!#i think the balance was fine tbh i didn’t even have max scadutree shit i had like 15 at the end and it was okay. i didn’t follow any guides #for obtaining them either.#i do this gaius specifically needs some work not because of difficulty but because pretty sure him taking 99% of my health was a bug #think*#probably similar to the old bleed dogs.#so hopefully they look at that. outside of that i know radahn was a bit much but once i started using the deflecting tear #the fight genuinely became fun to me i was having a blast and it was effective.#but it is a bit much… and it’s definitely not my favorite boss LOL he’s probably one of my least favorites out of the dlc #but still he wasn’t too absurdly difficult once i got that down but that’s such a specific set up that i do wish it was more fun for #literally any other build as well.#anyway i think a solid 8.5/10 for me! i had a lot of fun and in terms of the lore it’s don’t think it’s That bad #but that’s not really my department so #gray.txt #i’m excited to play it again and actually be able to follow npc quests as well since i kinda fucked it up this run😭

#keese draws #oxygen not included #olivia broussard #jackie stern #also to be clear everything I have for the rabbit and raccoon universes is completely pulled out of my ass lol #I just wanted to play around with the idea of every universe in oni having the same results despite wild differences #in canon they’re both probably near identical outside of what critters olivia works with #but I find it fun imagining those moments in the logs as the moments that come closest to converging #three olivias who are all wildly different but despite it all still end up in a lab feeding their favorite critters in near perfect sync #three separate jackies with varying amounts of respect for olivia each deciding to rid of olivia’s critters #three separate pairs each holding near identical conversations through text that even then could have varried wildly in tone if heard #two women who have a strained relationship two women who don’t realize how bad things are between them and two women who are on the offense #anyways rabbit universe is my favorite of the other two to think abt because god it’s so fun imagining jackie slowly realize that olivia #may have slowly but surely become like super dangerous to both herself and others and that it was initially to support her but now it’s #gotten Way out of hand and jackie doesn’t know how to try to bring it up because she has things that she deems more important to do #and anytime she does try to push her away from the work she’s been doing to focus on other things she at best does it in secret #the problem with people who consider themselves righteous is that they can become incredibly dangerous if they aren’t #now jackie sort of considers herself righteous but I don’t think that’s her primary motivation in scientific advancement #she is far more motivated by the thrill of progress and as such operates less on is what I’m doing right and more how do I most effectively #get this done and as such she’s incredibly strict and shitty to people and is more than willing to cut corners that she rly shouldn’t #the thrill of progress also appeals to olivia deeply but she generally sees herself as a moral person #which even in canon leads to olivia coming off as kind of hypocritical as anything that doesn’t make her actively uncomfortable doesn’t rly #seem to register to her as a problem #her morals are kind of dictated by her personal comforts and as such an olivia who is comfortable with doing questionable experiments is an #olivia who doesn’t see them as questionable at all #now I do imagine rabbit universe olivia is generally nicer to employees than jackie is #but mostly in the sense that she gives them proper breaks and lets them do fun activities and such #she is still mostly invested in optimization she just knows that rested employees are productive employees unlike jackie #like if someone has a breakdown over the work they’re forced to do she’ll send them home early but she will expect them to get back to it #so she’s not actually like. that good to the ppl working under her. she’s just not as bad as jackie

#In my au the crying child kind of accidentally helped kill Charlie lol. He pushed her outside and locked her in the rain. Tee hee #And THEN. He went to go check on her because he felt a little bad since Sammy was going ballistic #and accidentally witnessed the last bits of his dad murdering Charlie. He then hides and was going to wait for his dad to leave but #Since OBVIOUSLY will needs to dispose of evidence he was going to stay there. So he kind of. Went over to his dad and they had a mutual agr #Will in return started treating him “better” and also stopped using him for experiments (as much) and instead tried doing remanent stuff #And then Mike and Elizabeth got kind of envious (this was also their father subconsciously pitting all three against eachother )#so then they started to bully cc #Sammy comes into play because he also kind of helped cc push Charlie outside because Charlie was deemed “the favorite” and Henry truly #Never bothered to try and care for Sammy. This is not saying he treated Charlie good either #but. He treated her VISIBLY better than Sammy #and Sammy looked up to William (this is actually kind of relevant and is the reason why security breach and help wanted exist because…#Sammy saw William and his work as amazing and even when he figured out he used actual children for his stuff he continued it needlessly.#He usually spent more time in the Afton household than his own which is. Quite sad. William actually thought of him as the perfect nephew/#Apprentice and taught him in his ways. He’s as old as Micheal #and also the Freddy bully. (I’m figuring out how to not make him white #Oh. Right #also cc was friends with sam #(the one u shouldn’t have killed) and she has two siblings #Why is this relevant. WELL. BUDDY. So the Bonnie bully is in fact Jeremy.F #he has an older sister named Ximena. She worked at Fredbear’s diner and then circus baby’s pizza world #and Jeremy was friends with Micheal AND SAMMY. eventually after Will murdered the og kids #Jeremy was tasked with distracting Mike.#Their younger half sibling is Sammy. Jeremy is also later tasked by William to distract Micheal in any means possible from what Will is doi #Ximena’s life was essentially theatened and in order for will to ensure the animatronics don’t target her Jeremy was forced to distract mik #Even though he was still grieving for his sister and grappling guilt over cc. Mike also was somewhat mean to him sometimes and Jeremy a #Babysat Elizabeth sometimes. By distraction William never clarified so Jeremy kind of went for a romantic ish approach. Ladyhawke AU (wow, now we’re getting niche) where Dream is a big black cat during the day and a human at night while Hob is a raven at night and a human during the day. They’ve been in love for centuries but someone (probably Lucifer or Desire, let’s be real) cursed them to always be together but forever apart. As soon as one of them turns human, the other turns animal and vice versa. You never see one without the other; Hob’s students have a running joke about the cat that follows him around campus or rides on his shoulder, while Dream is a campus cryptid infamous for only appearing at night robed in all black with a raven perched on his shoulder. Anyone who actually talks to either of them immediately comes to know the deep love they each have for their animal companions, but no one connects the dots. No one except Rose, who (along with the help of Death or maybe even Delirium or Despair) befriends both of them and finds out the whole story. She then dedicates a significant amount of time trying to find a cure or loophole to allow her uncle and professor to finally be reunited
