+ Dw too much about the merge, nobody died. However, now Amity Park is inside of a once-empty field in Illinois. This won't really be too important later (I think)

Because the ghost attacks, all students of Casper High learned combat (with ecto knuckles given to them by the Fentons)

And they get really good at it. So much so that Phantom doesn’t even have to make appearances except in emergencies.

Then, someone thought it wood be a good idea to send them to Gotham on a trip to WE.

So Gotham finds out and they are betting on how long the country kids stay before leaving (highest is three days).

The news companies decided to send over an interviewer to interview the kids and the camera pans to show the kids on a rooftop practicing combat exercises and hand-to-hand fighting.

Casper High is not going to skip a couple days of combat training- especially in Gotham.

Needless to say, lots of people lost money that week.

Dash Baxter's Self Saving System

Danny Phantom exists in the DC universe. . . as a TV show. Robin grew up watching Danny and identifies strongly with the young hero. It’s fun escapism! One night after patrol while ranting online about how stupid Phantom Planet is as a finale, how many dropped plot threads there are, how so much of the rich worldbuilding is just throwaway lines that are never explored again, Robin triggers the Transmigration System and gets isekai-ed into Amity Park. 

Now Robin is trapped in the role of Schoolyard Bully Dash Baxter and must fix the plot and avoid OOC behavior in order to return home.

Which Robin is it? I can see this going several ways: 1) Tim Drake: Already canonically a huge nerd and would absolutely hate being stuck in the role of mean dumb jock. Would manage to become best friends with the everlasting trio as soon as he got the OOC function turned off. Tucker would love geeking out with Tim over tech, and Sam would pick up on his gothic Bat vibes. He transmigrates because a combination of sleep deprivation, untreated injuries from vigilantism, compromised immune system from lack of spleen, and an unhealthy dose of caffeine cause him to keel over and die like Shen Yuan. With Dash’s natural athleticism and Tim’s ingenuity he could either cobble together or get his hands on some anti-ecto weaponry and become Hunter to Val’s Huntress. Would definitely trigger a whole new plotline around clones. Meanwhile back in Gotham Batman is going off the rails after a second Robin dies on his watch. 2) Jason: Gets isekai-ed during the explosion in Ethiopia. His revival is predicated on him completing the plot in Amity Park. UTRH is subverted by his quest to get back to Danny/bring Danny to Gotham. He's learned better coping strategies from Jazz. Sneaks into Fentonworks and steals a bunch of weapons immediately. Shoots Spectra in the face with the Fenton Bazooka the second she shows up. He'd love having Mr. Lancer for English. 3) Dick: Recently took up the mantle of Nightwing and broke away from Bruce. Does not enjoy being a teen again in high school (with normie parents! ugh!!). Actually doesn’t have a difficult time adjusting to Dash’s social life since he’s a natural leader and very charismatic, and unlike Dash isn't cruel and violent. Absolutely has a difficult time adjusting to Dash’s physique because it is *not bendy enough* and he keeps on pulling muscles. Returns to Gotham to discover Jason’s death and calls in a favor from Danny to find his brother’s wandering spirit. 4) Stephanie: Trans Dash Baxter with Stephanie’s personality actually sounds amazing. I think she’d still pursue Jazz like Dash did, but with a much higher rate of success. Not sure if it would be fair to drop someone as hot as a trans version of Stephanie in Amity though, she would become the main character and everyone would forget the ghost boy. 5) Damian: not sure where I’d go with this, but it could be fun. He’d probably stab Vlad, which I would enjoy. Might also stab Star and Paulina, which would get him nerfed by the System. Would probably first seek out Vlad to obtain weaponry comparable to Huntress' and manipulate him into believing they shared a common goal, then betray him at a key moment. He has lots of experience dealing with megalomaniacal rich men from his time with Ra's and the League. Would get on great with Dani. 5) Jarro: Please please please someone write this I have no idea how, but it would be hilarious and Jarro would be seriously weirded out by having a human body. Whether this is a ship or platonic relationship depends on the pairing I think.

I just wanna say that I think DC x DP combined with Swagger Bishie would be pretty funny. Especially if Damian was Danny’s friend and took one look at his crush, then goes “Seriously??”

The blond jock’s fairly strong, sure, but how well can he fight? And is he smart? How does he do under stress? Is he worthy of being his friend’s significant other?

Fic idea where Damian is the alternate dimension version of Paulina (dp x dc)

This is barely anything, but imagine Dash and Danny being portalled to the dc universe by some freak coincidence, with Dash not knowing Danny is Phantom still. So yeah, they're stranded until the portal reopens and they manage figure out when that will be. In the meantime they're stuck in Gotham.

Then, while Dash and Danny are on a walk or something they spot someone that looks a hell of a lot like Paulina so they call out to her. Turns out it's not exactly her. It's actually a guy that looks exactly like what Paulina would look like as a boy, down to that same disdainful face and all.

Now, canonically both Dash and Danny have a crush on Paulina, so I think it'd be funny if they ended up goading each other into competing for alternate-Paulina's attention. Like, "Not-Paulina likes me better." "Fat chance, Paulina's out of your league no matter the universe, loser." And as a result they both start flirting with dude-Paulina, which is a mitigated success most of the time because both boys get as blushy and dumb around not-Paulina as they do around their own version.

Meanwhile, Damian Wayne doesn't understand what those two dumb boys want with him but he knows it's nothing good. He just can't think of anyone who would be dumb enough to send such incompetent spies/assassins after him.

New Chapter Dropped - Oliver's Taste of Trouble

The sunlight was still lingering there in Phoebe's smile as she worked on a lasagna. I helped as much as she’d let me, but mostly I just kept distracting her as best I could with my brilliant opinions on movie adaptations. Anything to keep that smile there, to keep the fears and the darkness away.

“Wait, you’ve really never seen Jekyll and Hyde?”

She rolled her eyes, adding a pinch of sugar to the sauce, “I’m just not big on scary movies.”

I laughed, I couldn't help it, “The classic monster movies aren’t scary, Pheebes. They’re hilarious. Promise.”

“Maybe,” she said, “Can you get the pan?”

“Sure thing,” I said, bending down and pulling it from the cabinet, setting it on the counter next to her before turning to get the cheeses from the fridge and setting those out as well. 

“You’re amazing,” she said, her smile making my heart stutter, “So tell me, what is it that they never do with adaptations for Jekyll and Hyde that they should do?”

“Have you read the book?” I teased. 

She rolled her eyes, “You know I have, I saw you reading my copy last week.”

“So, you know how-” I stopped as Oliver nearly knocked me off my feet chasing something, zooming away to bat it into the corner, “Hey buddy, be careful where you zoom. What’ve you got there?”

“I think he rediscovered one of his old mice,” she said, opening the oven and putting the lasagna in. 

“Silly boy,” I said with a grin, stopping to lean over and give Oliver a pet. He turned, shifting the pets to his neck, and the movement gave me a clear view of what he'd been playing with.

My heart stopped.

It wasn’t a toy mouse. It wasn't even a real mouse, which would have been gross but not that big a deal. Instead, it was a small chewed up clove of garlic. 

“Phoebe, does Oliver have a carrier?” I asked, scooping him up. 

She turned, concerned, “Yeah, why?”

“He managed to get a hold of some garlic.”

The color drained from her face as she immediately got to work digging out the carrier from the coat closet. It occurred to me that a carrier might be hard to handle on the back of my bike, but an uber could take ages. Handing Oliver over to Phoebe, I pulled out my phone and dialed. 

“Jason, what’s-”

“Barbie, I have an emergency, non-cape. Is there anyone near my location with a car?” I said, cutting her off as I went to turn off the oven. The lasagna would be ruined, but that was a problem for later. 

“Checking,” she said, her voice making it clear that she understood this was serious, “Yeah, Steph and Cass are about six minutes out. Anything I should tell them?”

“Just to get here fast.”
