What Can We Learn About the Antichrist?

Daniel 8.23 (NRSV) reads:

At the end of their rule,

when the transgressions

have reached their full

measure, a king of bold

countenance shall arise,

skilled in intrigue.

The Westminster Leningrad Codex says that there shall arise a “king” [melek] (מֶ֥לֶךְ) of “fierce” [‘āz] (עַז־) “countenance” [panim] (פָנִים) who is “skilled” [ū·mê·ḇîn] (וּמֵבִ֥ין) in “intrigue” [ḥî·ḏō·wṯ] (חִידֽוֹת׃).

The verse suggests a headstrong political leader with fierce features (cf. Dan. 7.11). Concerning his business skills, he’ll be well-versed in solving riddles and breaking codes. The only people who are professionally skilled in this line of work——deciphering veiled messages with double meanings——are spies. Much like James Bond, spies are involved in sinister plots, clandestine operations, and secret intrigues! Daniel 8.25 goes on to say:

By his cunning he shall

make deceit prosper . . .

Thus, according to Dan. 8.23, it seems highly probable that the Antichrist is a well-trained *high-level spy* who commits political espionage!

Chasing Evolution (Ch. 6) "A cosmic boom" "This breeding experiment of human and squid won't turn good for humans." "Shhhhhh!" Human squid was having auditory hallucinations even when he was awake. He checked his pockets and found a small torch. He tried to switch it on but it was not working. He threw it towards the dark space. In few seconds, it came back to him and hit him in the face. "What?" "Blackhole is throwing things away?" Perplexed by this property of the blackhole, he decided to take a leap of faith and threw himself in the same direction. Using his floating skills of the squid, he guided himself towards the unknown space. He looked at himself but he had turned into a mass of photons. He could see a spectrum of white light approaching him as he dived forward. He could see another round celestial body inside the blackhole completely illuminated as a vast horizon. As he was in free fall, he could not stop himself and he knew that he was going to get burned in that light. It was not hot but there was nothing visible apart from light and he looked back to find the sheer darkness. As he entered the region of light, he bounced back and got retracted back. He was again falling back into the darkness. He immediately realized that it was a whitehole inside a blackhole. Floating, he reached at the event horizon and got retracted back to the inner horizon. Time was not a concern anymore because he was retracting back and forth at the speed of light. Are there two horizons inside the blackhole? How is it possible to have a white hole inside a blackhole? Will he be stuck forever retracting back and forth between both the horizons? Is the event horizon more powerful than the inner horizon? Is whitehole controlling the blackhole? How could he escape from this scenario? Then, there was a time when I let it go and held this ukelele in my hands. The feeling where I have to be more than I have been expected to be. Not only to be a backbone of nurturing the family but the melodious musician or any other artist. To grow as I want. To be let grown by those who limit me. To desire more than I can ever imagine. To find the dark before it finds me. I maybe young and cannot see beyond a point but if left free, I can be the wilder adventure to the patient home for anyone.
