You must realize that wanting dark and taboo fictional content (yes including that one you mentioned) not being allowed to exist actually does nothing to improve or protect irl lives, much on the contrary actually. holy molly.... my mind to worse places than rin not being the king's legitimate son (incest... like iris and rin turning out to be siblings or smth).

that being said this royal family IS A HOT MESS. the king and queen don't have one legitimate child i- i am at a lost for words. 100% iris' mom knew of this and blackmailed the queen into getting her daughter into the royal family

and this is such a reflection fr fr but more like how the situation is so damn similar (the connection between the characters is a tad bit different tho). we don't know much about the queen x king relationship, or maybe im losing it and have the memory of a gold fish but hear me out on this. all the characters are re-loving the king and the queen's lives 30 years later. iris is literally the queen in this whole mess of a cocktail. she got pregnant from someone else (i.e. rin) because her husband (i.e. kiyoomi) was not paying attention to her.

pov switch: so when the queen (i.e. iris) got pregnant, the king or her husband (i.e. kiyoomi) knew it wasn't his because he never "touched her." which he then decided to confide in one of his many affairs partners (aka iris' mom; i.e. y/n yuzuru). so when iris' mom found out, she decided to use it against the queen and get her kid into the royal family.

wait... omg what if iris is the king's daughter!?!?!?!? so that's why her mom wanted her in the royal family and why she was so comfortable with rin, because they aren't actually siblings (step-cest vibes tho.. ew) BUT oh my.... that means that kiyoomi is her half-brother and they got married....

ROYAL FAMILIES ARE A MESS PERIOD.

i wouldn’t say so at least for my interpretation of dubcon, to me dubcon is when the parties are all subjected to a situation where sexual activies are required and if it weren’t for the situation, the parties would’ve never done it in the first place. so like the parties aren’t necessarily all for it but they’re not completely against it due to circumstances. think of like the fuck or die situation or say two people are put under aphrodisiacs but are locked in the same room
