https://chuffed.org/project/129187-abdallahs-quest-for-education
My name is Abdullah Bassam Shaqoura, a 16-year-old Palestinian student from Gaza. I was born and raised in the Gaza Strip, where I spent my childhood under extremely difficult conditions, always striving to learn and grow despite the challenges.
We were displaced multiple times due to the war, with our last refuge being in the city of Rafah. It was there that my family and I were bombed, forcing us to flee once again—this time to Cairo in search of safety.
Before the war, I was studying English and working hard towards building a better future through education. Unfortunately, the war brought my learning journey to a halt and imposed a harsh new reality on my life.
Still, I firmly believe in the power of knowledge and words to bring about change, and I continue to hold on to my dreams of a brighter future for myself and for my people.
I am a voice from Gaza—a voice from beneath the rubble that still believes in life.

Breaking News ‼️‼️

It's the end of G@za , In anytime you won't see us again 💔 So please read this and help a mom and her three kids 🙏🙏🙏📢
13/04/2025 4:04 am Severe destruction hit the Aalma'madani Hospital in central Gaza after an Israeli airstrike, despite it being the only functioning hospital in the city with limited capacity.
✅️Vetted by @gazavetters , my number verified on the list is ( #515) ✅️
My full story 🙏💔
I'm Areej I was an English teacher and a creative writer at we are not numbers
before war and everything change after October 7. Also I'm a creative writer at we are not numbers.
Dear my kind donors!
Also I am a mother of three children. We have lived through the war for a year and a half, and we have lost everything we own. My husband is a man who did not work. Before the war, I did not have a breadwinner or any source of income. During the war I didn't give up to teach so I volunteered and had good chance to help some students to get engaged again with English in a very creative way.

Please Save those innocent kids from war 🥺‼️🙏🙏

We are in tents for almost two years because our home was destroyed‼️🥺

After our several evacuation from place to another. Now we don't have a house after it was destroyed by missiles. I now ask you to help me rebuild my house. And buy basics for the daily essentials for my children and I need money so that we can stand up again and start again.
This war wasn't easy at all it has taken many friends at work, students and some of my colleagues at the university. They are almost ten souls I won't never forget . Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.
My lovely students before war 🥺

Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:
🏠 Safety: The uncertainty of tomorrow weighs heavily on us.
😢 Loss: The absence of my students and my friends is really hurts.
💔 Dreams on Hold: The future feels so far away when survival takes all our strength.

Note to mention the other very expensive essential goods. I hope you will stand by me to get food
The crossings boarders are closed again these days and war return in Gaza.
The crossing through which food enters has been closed for more than 30 days. We have nothing to eat, and even if we do, the prices are exorbitant. Some of the prices listed are:
1 kg of meat = $100
1 chicken = 70$
1 kg of fish = 100$
1 bag of flour = $200
1 kg of cooking gas = $150
1 kg of sugar = $15
1 kg of eggplant = $20
1 kg of tomatoes = $10
1 kg of onions = $25
How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line
Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:
. $5 might not seem like much, but it could mean a meal, clean water, or a tiny bit of hope for my family.
. Can’t donate? Reblog this post to help us reach someone who can. Every share matters more than you know.
To help me and my family you can donate here or at least you can share this post to people who can support us in gaz
You can support my family here
Or here directly in kofi or PayPal🙏🚨❤️

A family trapped in Gaza appeals for help to survive
I am a mother of two children, the first is a boy named Nasser who is 2 years old, and the other is named Enaam, who was born during the war when she was less than two months old... I see my children growing up in front of me and I don't know how or when. This is not what I wished for. I dreamed of a wonderful life to spend with him... a life not filled with death, fear, destruction and deprivation... I wanted to fill their room with toys and his closet with clothes, and I wanted to buy them children's books, but I couldn't... The war came and the wishes disappeared... My goal became to provide food for him. I can barely afford anything. Everything is expensive and we no longer have the income to buy his needs. Bayd Al-Karam was deprived of many of his basic needs. He was deprived of safety and stability... no fruits or meat.
There is only fear that fills my son's eyes as soon as he hears the sounds around him. He does not realize what is happening outside, but he feels it and sees it in our eyes when he looks at us. I cannot protect myself, my children. Help me save my children. They deserve a better life, as do all the children of Gaza and the world. Alone, I can't do it, but with your help we can find a safe place and a better future for my children. Be the reason for changing a child's life for the better by visiting our link. And donate to us with anything, no matter how small... Every dollar makes a difference and gives my daughter a life.
£5 may seem small
The hardest decision for us was to leave our country, to leave Gaza, to overcome the obstaclطes we faced and the losses we suffered, and to start a new life from scratch.

No one is left. We are all going to die. They killed his parents, his wife, his children, his siblings... (and they will kill him). This is the reality of every Palestinian. Time is up. Protest. Say no to racism. Don't just watch — you can make a difference. To the world: You are not powerless.
To Tumblr users, to the trans community, to designers — all of you: Take to the streets and protest. Boycott companies supporting the aggression. Share the truth; do not stay silent.
Donate to trusted organizations that support the Palestinian people. Stand for justice and humanity.
You are watching, and someone else is watching at the same time. Join us.

Messages between me and Ibrahim @wolf-aid on the 17th of april 2025, shared with his permission
Ibrahim is only fifteen years old, and this is the kind of things he has to deal with because of the occupation. He dreams of continuing his education, but this genocide has taken that from him. Ibrahim’s home, school, and the places he used to spend his time have been destroyed, and he has been displaced multiple times and lost many relatives in the bombings. No one should have to go through this, and especially not at his age.
On top of this, both of his parents suffer from health issues, which is scary enough for a child to experience even outside of a war zone where they can’t get adequate treatment.
Prices in Gaza are sky high for food, medications and other necessities, and evacuations are expensive too. If you can donate to Ibrahim’s campaign, you are helping this family survive until the border reopens, and making sure they can afford to leave when they have the chance.
Thanks to Ibrahim’s hard work campaigning for his family, they have reached almost 90% of their goal, but they still have a little under 10,000 to go. Please don’t ignore him and don’t let this campaign slow down when they are so close to reaching their goal 🙏🏼🇵🇸

Hello my friend, every day is a war in itself, especially now at night, the sounds of bombing are everywhere. We sleep in fear and wake up to the sounds of explosions. We don't know what to do and what our fate will be. We have no home, no food, no clothes, not even water. So please don't leave us. Donate to alleviate our suffering and share our post so it reaches everyone, we are in fear, hunger, cold and extreme misery.

This is my daughter Habeeba, my youngest daughter, a 9-month-old baby. You can imagine how much suffering a child means, born in the war without any basic needs and miraculously survived the bombing of our tent. I pulled her out from under the rubble while I was terrified and by the grace of God she came out completely safe. Please donate to us for her so I can buy her supplies and compensate her for all the suffering that she and we all suffered. I trust you, my friends

Help Nour and her family overcome this war in Gaza
I’m a 19-year-old girl from Gaza. My name doesn’t really matter, because here every girl carries the same pain. My family consists of sex members: my mother Ghada( 47 years old), my father Hamid ( 52 years old), my brothers Mohammed and Izzidein and my sisters Marah and Maha.

Since I was a child, I’ve known the sound of bombs better than the sound of laughter. I recognize the smell of gunpowder more than perfume. Our days are not like the rest of the world’s. Our childhood was stolen, our dreams shattered, and our hopes are buried under rubble.
Right now, I live in a half-destroyed home, after a warplane bombed the street where I live. I was asleep when it happened. I woke up to my little sister screaming, the whole building shaking. We ran down the stairs, smoke everywhere, and I saw my neighbor , the girl who was laughing with me just the day before, lying motionless on the ground.

Imagine being a 19-year-old girl, and instead of thinking about college, love, or life, you’re thinking about how to survive, how to escape this place before you become just another number on the news.
I don’t want much. I just want a chance. I want to get out of here before it’s too late, before the war swallows me too. We are know in dire need of fundraising to finance our travel to safe country . The cost of travel I between $7,000 - $9,000, which is a huge amount that we cannot afford. Even a small contribution can make a big difference in our lives.
Please help me find a way out, for life, for safety, for hope.
Please donate and help us.

I am Omar from the devastated and traumatized Gaza, I am 70 years old, I have 3 girls and a sick wife as a result of a fire that consumed a large part of her body, especially her face, hands and feet. Sorry, I was not able to publish her photos to preserve her feelings and yours. Despite that, I did what I could to secure a decent life for my wife and children despite the hardship and suffering so that I could provide food and very expensive medicine for my sick wife, knowing that I did not receive any salary from any party at all. Until this crazy war broke out, it left nothing behind, and I became unable to provide anything, neither food nor medicine, even the least. Please help us, even if it is a little, because for us it is a lot, a lot. Please do not leave us to disease and hunger that devour our bodies. Please help us, help us, and thank you very much

This is what the occupation is doing to our children😭😭💔💔🥺🥺🚨🚨🚨

It is not enough for this criminal, bloodthirsty occupier that he forced us to flee and live in a tent, but he prevents us from leaving it, even to go to the bathroom. We tremble with fear if anyone wants to go to the bathroom or make food, for fear that he will not return because of the large number of drones stationed above us, shooting and bombing everyone who moves. Yesterday, this drone dropped a bomb on some children while they were playing, but fortunately it did not explode. Then it shot and injured him and killed some children. Even on our holy day of Eid, it only targeted children, killing fifty children on the accusation that they were playing and enjoying their new toys. Our children are not numbers, they are human beings who have the right to life, play and safety. Please help us. Donate to us. We want to escape from this hell and live in peace. Your small donation makes a big difference to us.😭😭🥺💔💔🇵🇸🍉🙏🙏🙏🙏

My Journey to Escape the War in Gaza
My name is Abdelmajed. I never imagined I’d be sharing my story like this, but life in Gaza has become unbearable. I am a survivor of the war here, and in the blink of an eye, everything I once knew—my home, my safety, my community—was ripped away from me.

The war has transformed Gaza into a graveyard of broken dreams. The buildings that once stood as symbols of life and resilience are now piles of rubble. Every corner is filled with the echoes of explosions. Every moment is shrouded in uncertainty. There is no security. There is no stability. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.
Basic needs have become luxuries. Food is scarce. Clean water is even scarcer. Hospitals are overwhelmed and under-resourced, and there is almost no medical care to be found. Every night, families go to bed hungry, praying they’ll wake up to see another day. The cost of basic necessities has skyrocketed, and it’s become a daily battle just to survive.
I’ve seen things I never thought possible—standing in long lines for a piece of bread, rationing every drop of water, and watching my people suffer in silence. I have lost everything—my home, my safety, my dignity.
Escape from Gaza is my only hope, but it’s almost impossible without financial help. The cost of evacuation is far beyond my means, and without support, I’m trapped in a warzone with no way out.
I’m reaching out to you now, in the hopes that someone, anyone, can help. I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for a chance—just a chance—to live. A chance to escape this never-ending cycle of fear, destruction, and loss. A chance to rebuild my life somewhere safe, where I can begin again, where I can find hope once more.
Any amount you can give will help me get closer to safety. Even the smallest donation will make a difference—it could be the lifeline I need to survive. If you are unable to donate, please share my story. The more people who hear it, the better the chance that I can find the support I desperately need.
Your kindness and support mean the world to me. You’re not just helping me escape a war; you’re giving me a chance to live, to rebuild, to breathe again.
Thank you for listening. Thank you for caring.

Kat Graham at the Black Women in Film Summit
If there’s ever a Bonnie fan felt their voice didn’t matter. Kat heard you and thanks you for teaching and showing her that she mattered. Incase you weren’t aware Kat has been consistently crediting the fans in her recent interviews (Bonnie fans that is) for their hard work and support. Kat also wants you to have power in yourself today to understand you mattered.
Kat deserved so much better than the hand she was dealt playing Bonnie. Bonnie deserved better than to be sidelined and ignored because of her race. Her fans deserved better than to deal with constant racial harassment just because they were black/and or of color. That continues to happen today.
Don’t forget to watch Duplicity!
