the toon handlers... don't care about the privacy about the toons when it comes to each other. they gossip to each other about what the toons tell them

there weren't really any formal requirements needed to be a toon handler, so arthur and delilah just picked the ones whose names alliterated with the main toons. they thought it would be funny

veronica moved to the us (assuming dw takes place in the us) from the uk for college

arthur and delilah had a few failed businesses before gardenview, and their past businesses were always centered around kids' entertainment. it's just that gardenview and the dandy's world show were the ones they found success in

delilah cooks the turkey every thanksgiving

arthur can play the clarinet

devan once broke his arm while at work. i don't know how it happened, i just know it did

sam's favorite coffee is a latte. they are also, ironically, allergic to strawberries, but sprout isn't a "real" one so they can still do their job

UUUHHM. I made a toon handler!

So basically I have a headcanon that the 5 toon handlers we know of weren’t the only toon handlers working there, and in fact they had three extras to help with the toons that weren’t mains. This is one of the first hires, but she had to be replaced as you can imagine by the info.

The uniforms for the toon handlers that didn't handle the mains were different in a few ways;

- They wore ties - Instead of short sleeves, they wore long sleeves. Charlie just liked hers rolled up - Nametags did not have a picture of a toon on it - Uniforms were monochrome (light grey -> black (specified because Devon's is monochrome black and white. These toon handlers weren't aloud to have pure white vests, basically))

This oc may or may not be integral to the backstory I've made for Shrimpo :3

This is a Dandy’s world au where Dandy isn’t evil and Garden view did not shut down.

Also all the toons (except Gigi, Connie, Looney) each have a toon handler. But Goob and Scrap shares a toon handler and also Razzle and Dazzle shares a toon handler. Just like Dandy and Pebble.

Rudie, Bobette, Ginger and Coal don’t have toon handlers and are only available in December because they are event toons.

Shrimpo’s toon handler is not mean to him but just worries too much about him.

This au takes place in 2010s.
