Upcoming sewing projects, for accountability's sake:

Bathrobe (blue and white striped Oxford cotton bought for another project roughly 6 years ago)

Underwear tests for 2 different patterns, both from the 1930s Haslam System lingerie books (various quilting cottons in my stash, mostly remnants at this point -- the goal is to make something with the cotton that I can lounge in after the gym as a wearable muslin)

A 1920s-style top to go with the lounge unders.

Pattern tests for 2 dresses, one from Women's Wear of the 1930s and one from Making 1920s Women's Clothes.

Fabric samples for new nightgowns arrived but I have to be an adult and work.

The tragedy of being employed, I suppose.

Also, no matter what fabrics-store.com tells you, their handkerchief linen is not good for sleepwear. One of my nightgowns turned into Swiss cheese in two years and the other is on the way to swiss-town. I'm trying some of the Kaffe Fassett shot cotton since it should be about the right weight and isn't a baby color.

(I can get batiste but only in white, pale blue, mint, pale pink, or pale yellow. While those would be 1920s-appropriate colors for nightgowns, they're a bit sweeter than I want. My blood for lightweight cotton in an interesting color that I don't have to dye myself, I suppose.)

The bees in the garden have inspired me to sew some more hoops. I’ve lots of ideas I’d like to try … but here’s the first one complete. I’ve used recycled denim for the fabric and embroidered tiny white daisies throughout. I love it and definitely feel excited about making some more designs … 🪡🧵😃
