RANT #1

I posted something like this earlier in a community that I’m in, but I decided that I wanted to post on my account about it.

I genuinely hate it when guys say that they want weird girls. Like, when a guy says he wants a “weird” girl, he almost always means a conventionally attractive girl who likes anime and video games or something- not an ACTUAL weird girl! Real “weird girls” are usually not considered “attractive” by the masses, and are often made fun of for their hobbies and interests, because- hence the name- they’re considered “weird.” I used to be bullied and made fun of in middle school for liking anime, but the moment a popular, pretty girl likes it and decides to call herself a “weird girl,” now all the boys want a “weird” girlfriend.

And then they have the nerve to say that they want a goth girlfriend-which is almost NEVER what they really want. They actually (usually) just want an EGIRL; I’ve seen guys who “want a goth gf” legit start praying in the comment section of an ACTUAL goth girl’s tiktok video. And It’s even funnier when it’s a trumpie who says he wants a goth, because real goths are NOT maga at ALL!

Also, MOST of these guys are always making fun of anything not basic and “normal” to them; so why would they want a girl who goes against social and political norms? The alternative “world” is all about love, acceptance, empowering those who are weak, and embracing who YOU are; it’s NOT about hating on anyone even slightly “different” than you and disrespecting/invalidating other’s beliefs, opinions, and values!
