Rewatching AOS from the beginning and seeing Daisy run away from Ward, only to be followed by him violently screaming her name and charging after her felt really eerie. Like, it gave me the vibes of someone running away from their abusive boyfriend, especially with how uncomfortable Daisy was and looking to the cops for assistance (even though they were slow to act until she started getting aggressive), again with the way Ward was screaming after her when she tried to run away from him. And yet you still have people going "But she should have heard him out." Smh.

M's Marvel Thought of the Day
Daniel Sousa, now settled in the 21st century, looks up what happened to his friends from his own timeline.
Daisy had already gently broken the news about Peggy's death to him. They visited her grave site and talked about the adventures and missions the two had been on.
He read the case file on Howard and Maria Stark's death, the Winter Solider case and knowledge of who he was sending him for a loop. He'd met Sergeant Barnes once, that day when he thought he would die on the battle field. He had never been Howard's biggest fan but no one deserved that.
He read the obituaries of Ana and Edwin Jarvis, found they were buried in New York, side by side as they'd been in life. He left pink flowers - Ana's favourite colours of peonies - on their grave, and thanked them for their friendship and support.
There had been two people he'd been somewhat surprised to find out were still alive and unbelievably in the same old people's home in DC. He'd been unsure whether visiting would be a good idea but after some gentle investigating from Daisy and Mack, he found himself entering a rec room. There was various elderly people around, reading newspapers or napping in high backed armchairs. But no-one looked familiar. Daisy squeezed his hand before getting the attention of one of the nurses, who led them around the corner of the room.
As they make their approach when Daniel hears a far too familiar voice, making him stop in his tracks.
"Ha! Got you again Thompson, pay up!" Rose Roberts, with now grey hair but with the same thick glasses, smirked triumphantly across the top of the checkers board.
The older man across the table groaned. "We go through this every damn day Rose. Can we go back to Chess?" Daniel took in the older man he'd known a life time ago, hair still slicked back in the way it had always been. A cane leant against the wall behind him and he coughed after laughing at Rose's comeback.
"Chief Thompson? Agent Roberts?" The nurse asked drawing their attention. "You have some visitors."
Both former agents looked across to see Daniel standing with an indecipherable look on his face.
"Fucking hell..."
"What the hell..." Their voices overlapped suddenly.
"Hey Rose, hey Jack." Daniel said stepping forward. Rose struggled to her feet, using the table to leverage herself up.
"Chief? Is that really you?" Rose looked up at him, his arms coming up to help balance her.
"It's me. It's good to see you Rose." And he found himself engulfed in her arms, wrapping his back around her and holding her tight. "God it's good to see you Rose."
"How the hell are you here?" She said as she looked back up to him. "And who's the beautiful woman you brought with you?" She fixed him with that same mischievous look she used to shoot at him all the time after glancing to Daisy who stood off to the side. Always so invested in his love life, so he chuckled.
"I can explain everything I promise. Why don't we sit?" He helped her back to her chair, glancing across to Jack who had his hand's in fists on the other side of the table. "Hi Thompson."
"Who are you?" He demanded. "You're sure as hell not Daniel Sousa. He died in...55." He paused remembering the exact year. "We buried him. We... mourned him. You sure as hell aren't him."
"I can explain that I am Jack."
"I am 102, not stupid." Rose scoffed, making both men turn to her.
"Jack do be serious. What about Rogers? He came back to Peg did he not?"
"How can we be sure? It may be some traitor. Davey was telling me just the other day about those shape shifting aliens Fury was palling around with..." Jack started saying.
"How about this Jack? I'll prove it to you." The older man looked puzzled but let him continue. "Before you went to Russia with Carter, met the Howling Commandoes when we were investigating Stark. You tricked me in the locker room, into seeing Carter changing. You asked me to get your compass from..."
"Locker 42." Jack finished his sentence and looked Daniel up and down, his gaze resting on the prosthetic leg.
"I've still only got one leg but the future makes a better prosthetic than Stark by a mile." Daniel joked, and Jack stood at that, pulling Daniel into a hug that he was not expecting. "It's good to see you too Jack."
They sat back down, chairs pulled up for Daniel and Daisy, as they told the story of faking his death, and pulling him out of time. Of their adventures into space and the weird and wacky things he'd discovered in the 21st Century.
They told him stories from their own lives after his death, cases he'd missed out on, Howard's ridiculousness. Peggy's rise to power. The three old friends spoke fondly of her, recalling stories from throughout the time they spent with her.
Rose grilled him and Daisy on their story and relationship, telling Daisy all the embarrassing things that Daniel had been happy to leave behind in the 50's. The unlikely pair giggled and formed a friendship.
Rose told her stories of her first and second marriage, her daughter, son-in-law and grandson who would visit every weekend.
Jack had been married when Daniel died, to Peggy's lovely personal secretary Ruth who knew how to put him in his place. They'd only had a daughter the year or two before Daniel supposedly died. Jack talked about how they'd gone on to have three more daughters, now had 8 grandchildren, including a grandson who had joined SHIELD recently (Daniel promised to keep an eye out for him). Then, his Ruth had passed a few years ago and Daniel expressed his condolences.
At that moment, a young boy, probably 5-years-old barrelled into the room and to Jack's side. "Pops, Pops!"
"Hey there, Danny. How's my favourite guy?" With surprising strength for a man of his years, Jack swung the young man up till he was sat on his knee.
"I'm good! Momma's coming now." He pointed to where a pretty blonde was making her way across the room, shaking her head as she stooped to kiss Jack on the cheek and ruffle her son's head.
"Sorry Grandpa, the traffic was horrendous." She greeted Rose much the same way, passing her a package. "Fudge from that place on 4th for your Rose, Danny over there insisted." She turned to the guests who sat between them. "Hello, I'm Ruthy." She shook their hands.
"Ruthy, this is Daniel and Daisy. Daniel, Daisy, my granddaughter Ruthy and her son, Danny." Jack smirked at Sousa as his great-grandson played with the watch on his wrist.
"Danny? Huh." Was the only thing Daniel came up with as he watched an old friend acting like a goofy grandparent.
"Yeah, Grandpa had a friend called Daniel who saved his life a bunch of times when he was younger. Used to tell us stories all about Sousa and Carter and their adventures. We never believed him until we found out where he worked." Ruthy filled in nonchalantly, sitting on the opposite side of the table, digging through her bag to produce a water bottle for her son unaware of the look on Daniel's face. Jack smirked massively. "Here, Grandpa. I managed to grab that album from storage that you wanted." She handed across a large leather bound photo album to the older man, who flipped through a few pages.
"Here you go Daisy, you'll like this one." Jack smirked, that old charming smile creeping onto his face as he passed the now open book across to her, Daniel peering over her shoulder and scoffing.
"Woah." Ruth finally looked up, glancing at the photo and then back up to Daniel and back again. "Well. I cannot believe it took me that long. I knew you looked familiar. I thought it was just Quake that had me thinking that."
Daisy smirked. "You don't seem surprised?"
"Oh I've worked at Stark Industries for a long time, I'm so used to superheroes and weird tech not much surprises me anymore. You see Tony Stark walking round in Iron-Man pants one too many times and you get over stuff pretty quickly." She levelled Daniel with a look. "Time travel huh?"
"Yes. But I haven't seen these in literal years." He said his hand tapped a few photos. One from the first day of opening the first SHIELD base, Thompson and Howard Stark stood either side of Peggy and Daniel. Another of Peggy, Daniel and Rose throwing confetti at Jack's wedding. One of Daniel and Thompson with Peggy on her Wedding Day. An outtake of that one where Howard was attempting to jumping into frame and Jarvis dragging him out, while the three of them laughed lay below it.
He could still picture that party, he could hear the band playing, memories of Peggy dancing with Rogers, happy and content. He remembered how happy he was for her.
Daisy squeezed his knee beneath the table and brought him back to the present. He pressed a kiss to her temple and continued the conversation. They had coffee and cake and Rose shared her fudge. Daisy made lunch trolley roll across the room, making Jack's great-grandson shriek in delighted laughs and push it back into a position where she could do it again and again.
They left hours later and Daniel felt more settled than he had done in a long time. Daisy squeezed his hand as they drove away.
They'd return to visit every time they were in town, which was more often these days now SHIELD HQ was there, sometimes together, sometimes alone. They met all of both of their families, attended Ruth's 100th birthday. Brought presents for Daniel's namesake's birthday.
When Daisy and Daniel tied the knot, two reserved seats on the front row of the groom's side were filled my two of his oldest friends some of their families just a couple rows back. They 'snuck' them into new SHIELD HQ to see all the new tech and planes, the memorial wall that included people they'd known a lifetime ago.
Daniel loved the future, loved living his life alongside Daisy and her family. But knowing his friends were there, getting to spend time with them was an unexpected but valuable thing for him. It gave him a link to the past, someone to shoot the breeze with, with some similar experiences from the past. A taste of a previous life he was grateful for as he lived his new one.

I watched The Legend of Korra for the first time 6 months ago, and it quickly became one of my favorite shows along with Agents of SHIELD, and I've been meaning to make this post since then, but I keep forgetting.
I wish Agents of SHIELD treated Daisy's trauma the way The Legend of Korra treated Korra's trauma.
Daisy and Korra are very similar characters, but it is kinda funny (not funny for them, very sad for them but funny that it happened this way) that coincidentally both of them experience extreme physical and mental trauma at the end of their third seasons and had to deal with the aftermath during their fourth seasons.
In the case of Daisy, she was belittled and torn down by the people that were supposed to be her family because she took some time away and was told to get over it. I've made several posts about how much I hated that treatment of her trauma. Daisy was only away for six months, yet the SHIELD team, mostly Fitz, tore into her for "turning her back" on them. Which she didn't, but again, I've made posts about this, so I won't get into it. Then when she came back and was struggling with her powers, she was then again belittled, by you know who, for not being at the level she used to be. Her powers, though very much needed, were taken advantage of.
However, in the case of Korra, who was away to recover for three years, had very a supportive treatment from her family and friends. When she wanted to rush her healing, she was told that she was allowed to take as much time as she needed to heal. And even when she was stuck in her own depression and anger, everyone was understanding. They would actually talk to Korra, hoping that she would push herself to heal, but not forcing it upon her. And when Korra's power wasn't exactly up to scale, no one blamed her for it and was very understanding of that too (except President Raiko, but no one likes him, so he doesn't count).
Both Daisy and Korra received a "tough love" aspect in their shows, Daisy from May and Korra from Toph. Those talks weren't belittling (Okay, Toph was a little belittling, but that's just Toph, and she means it in the best way). They were actually what pushed both Daisy and Korra that they weren't alone in their healing, and being around others could actually help them.
All in all, say what you want about The Legend of Korra in regards to how it compares to its predecessor Avatar: The Last Airbender, one of the best pieces of media I've watched, it does an amazing job at portraying trauma and healing (ATLA did too, but I was just felt so connected to TLOK's storyline). I know I probably left out a lot of other details about her healing, but I also don't want to give too much spoilers in case someone who hasn't watched the show reads this and maybe wants to check it out one day.
Again, I just wish Agents of SHIELD, my favorite show ever, treated Daisy, my favorite character of all time, and her traumas with the same respect and care that TLOK did for Korra.

May in S5 saying she “can’t see it” in regards to being a mother AS IF SHE HASNT BEEN A SINGLE MOM WHO WORKS TWO JOBS WHO LOVES HER KIDS AND NEVER STOPS FOR 5 SEASONS STRAIGHT ALREADY TO THE BUS KIDS (and basically all the other SHIELD agents too at this point let’s be honest). Like ma’am you are already a mother to several chaotic disaster children, there are no doubts about that.

I genuinely think any version of Daisy would've absolutely killed it in CA:TWS
She would've fit right in (especially since MCU!Hill is just 616!Daisy but with no powers)

Lightning Strikes Twice: Ch. 1
Tumblr media
Summary: Melinda May and Phil Coulson are sent on a mission to recover a missing child in a supernatural storm. But the child they come back to Shield HQ with is not the one they were sent to find.
Read on Ao3 / See Author's note for warnings
-----------------
Shield agent Melinda May shivered in the spring night air. What a night to be on duty.
She was alone, sitting in the driver’s seat of her Shield-issued black SUV as her husband, Agent Phil Coulson, sweet-talked the local authorities. They had to get into that sports complex. Tonight.
A thunderstorm swirled overhead, but this was no natural April shower. These clouds hid a scout ship of the mighty Kree warriors. Of course, the local police didn’t know that. They only knew that the night’s baseball games were canceled due to weather, and they were instructed to redirect teams, parents, and other spectators to return next week.
Phil frowned as he trudged back to the SUV and got in.
“Any luck?” Melinda asked, already knowing the answer.
Phil sighed. “Your turn.”
“Good. I like my way.” Melinda smirked and pulled out a remote control. With the press of a button, the sounds of gunfire and the lighting of a small explosion played from a cheap special effects kit on the far side of the main building of the sports complex. Out of view of the police officers, it looked and sounded real enough, at least with the rain and the echo off the cinderblock building.
As predicted, the officers ran from their spot to the disturbance. With no more Phil Coulsons around trying to talk their way in, there was no reason for them to be at the entrance anyway. All the sane people had gone home with their young athletes, grateful for a night off instead of huddling under the bleachers in the pounding storm.
That left Melinda and Phil with a clear entrance.
“Buckle up,” Melinda warned as she floored it through the now-clear sports complex entrance and across the parking lot. Phil set off another round of special effects commotion at the building just to cover the sound of the SUV’s engine.
The dirt path to baseball diamond C wasn’t exactly meant to be a road, but it was wide enough, and with the SUV’s capabilities, it got them right to the scene of the incident.
They got out and approached the dugout cautiously. Director Fury had warned them this was no ordinary missing child case. It had been mass hysteria at this site only a few hours earlier.
—---------------------------
The storm had come without warning, zapping down blue and green lightning as if targeting the young players on the field. Parents shouted for their children and children cried for their parents, and the rain pounded down, muffling the chaos. A father in the Special Forces caught a photo of the lightning as his wife called for their little girl. His stomach turned as he realized what the blur was at the edge of the camera. She was only three; it wasn’t her fault. But it was just like her. Of course, she’d gone toward danger instead of running away. Another lightning flash and his daughter disappeared.
“CAROL!” he shouted as he and his wife ran toward the spot in the outfield, but it was dark, empty. Not even a hair left of her. Another flash of lightning, this time directly onto the dugout. They turned back in shock at the loud crack of the wood slat roof splintering. They thought they saw a girl inside, the same size, impossibly far for her to have run, but it was just the afterimage. The lightning flashes were playing tricks on their eyes. They turned back to each other and screamed for Carol until their lungs gave out.
Their seven-year-old son stood frozen, drenched in his white-and-mud Little League baseball uniform. He saw what they wouldn’t admit. His sister had clearly vanished. It was no runaway little girl, lost in the storm, as they would tell the police. She had called out to him as she was hit and had faded away into thin air in the blindingly bright light. He stumbled as he ran toward her, losing coordination as he slipped in the mud. She was gone.
Eventually, the Special Forces officer side of the father kicked back in and he brought the film canister to his superiors at the military base while his wife and son waited for hours into the night at the city police station. The stoic military men developed the film, and as they waited, they heard his story of the supernatural storm, still brewing over the sports complex. Though later he would deny it if anyone had asked, the desperate father asked his officers if the storm could be a foreign enemy’s technology. It was too targeted to be simple, ordinary weather.
The commanding officers exchanged silent glances, thanked the father for the intel, and offered him coffee. They then hustled back to an office with a confidential line and had phoned Shield with the developed images in hand. This lightning wasn’t natural, but it also wasn’t of human origin. Only Shield could provide answers beyond that.
—-----------------
Director Fury then dispatched Phil and Melinda, and here they were, creeping around a dark, stormy park full of baseball fields and tricking police officers into abandoning their posts.
Phil signaled to Melinda to watch his back as he poked his head into the dugout. The smallest of whimpers came from within.
“Carol?” Phil whispered into the darkness. “Is that your name?”
The coast was clear around them, so Melinda glanced past him to the source of the rustle in the darkness.
“It’s okay,” he reassured. “We just want to help you find your parents. We aren’t going to hurt you.”
The shadow whimpered again, and Melinda gave up on watching for danger that wasn’t coming. She knelt down and made sure her flashlight was pointed at the ground.
“You’re safe now,” Melinda assured. She held out a hand and heard a shaky breath. “Can you be brave and come out here?”
The little girl that emerged was not blonde pig-tailed Carol Danvers at all. This little girl took Melinda’s breath away. Part Chinese, Melinda was sure of it, with Caucasian features too, though it was hard to tell in the flashlight’s dim glow. Something inside her knew, as she locked eyes with the girl, that this child could well have been hers and Phil’s. If they had been able…
Phil put on his best dad smile. “What’s your name, sweetheart?”
The little girl shook her head. She couldn’t have been more than three at the most.
“I’m Phil,” he introduced. “And this is my wife, Melinda. We want to help you get home.”
The little girl lurched forward and grabbed Melinda’s outstretched hand. She was a little unsteady on her feet, so Melinda picked her up without thinking. The little girl clung to her and started crying. She snuggled into Melinda’s shoulder and wept, making Melinda hold her tighter.
Phil furrowed his brow and pulled out his walkie-talkie. “Fury, this is Coulson.”
“Go, Coulson,” came the reply in Fury’s exhausted voice.
“Were there any other reports of missing children?”
“No, just the one you’re assigned to.” The unstated question made Phil and Melinda exchange a look of dread.
“We didn’t find a blonde girl. This one has dark hair, East Asian features? About the same age.” Phil paused. “Sir, she needs help.”
“Hmm.” Fury was silent for a while. “No reports that fit that description. Bring her in.”
Melinda brushed the little girl’s hair back, wet from the rain, and asked, “Do you know if there are any other kids out here? Maybe another girl like you?”
She raised her head and shook it “no.” And then she spoke, in a raspy whisper that broke Melinda’s heart, “Just me. I’m alone.”
They returned to their search for the child they were assigned to find, but even when they had found the master switch to turn on the lights for every field (revealing nothing), tried every door (all locked), searched every nook and cranny (empty), and called over and over for the child’s name, Carol Danvers, they had to agree with the assessment that there was no one else here. Except the police officers running toward them from the far side of the sports complex, shouting something that was probably “there they are!” and “come back here!” but they were slightly too far away to be heard clearly.
It was time to go.
The girl clung tightly to Melinda as they returned to the SUV. Melinda climbed in the back to gently strap her into the car seat meant for another child—the girl who was still missing. Instead of leaving this little one in the back seat alone, Melinda buckled in next to her to comfort her. The little girl fell asleep, exhausted by whatever ordeal she had been through in this storm. Her tiny lips parted, and her precious eyelashes lay so delicately on her still-babyish cheeks. By the time they made it back to Shield, Melinda May had fallen in love with someone else’s child.
But whose?
When they were back at Shield HQ, the little girl awoke and tried to answer their questions. She didn’t remember her own name or her parents’ names, or her address, or what town she was from. She just “forgotted.”
In the morning, the pediatrician contracted with Shield confirmed it was likely caused by the traumatic experience. Whether the memories came back would be anyone’s guess. More visually alarming, Melinda had discovered deep large bruises on the girl’s ankles, forearms, and back when changing her out of her soaking wet clothes and giving her a bath at the faux hotel room at HQ used for overnight guests. She didn’t say anything that night, settling the girl into a big bed the preschooler described as “the very comfy comfiest!” Phil returned from the office floors of the building with a plush tiger toy from the supplies they used to comfort children affected by trauma and tragedy. This certainly counted. The girl cuddled the tiger close throughout the night (and every night after) and grasped it tight through every nightmare that woke them all up with her crying and screaming until Phil and Melinda could sooth her back to sleep.
The next morning, the doctor dismissed the bruises as minor childhood injuries from running away from home in the storm, an understandable conclusion given that the girl was using everything in sight as a jungle gym, but as a skilled martial artist and agent, Melinda knew bruises intimately. These were old and intentionally inflicted.
“Who has been hurting you?” Melinda asked quietly when the doctor left the exam room and promised to send in a nurse with the evaluation paperwork and test orders to complete at the lab.
However, right now, the little girl couldn’t focus on answering any questions when there were puppies on her new, soft pink shirt to make up stories about. That morning, she hadn’t recognized the ubiquitously preschool-famous cartoon dalmatians, or know that they were called puppy dogs, which was odd, though the doctor said that was explainable by the amnesia. But otherwise, his evaluation said she seemed healthy, if a bit undernourished, and assuming the labs all came back clear, she was well enough to go home, wherever that would be now.
They searched every database and missing child alert. There were no parents that fit the half-remembered description the little girl gave. Of course, the girl also wondered why no one was blue, why cars didn’t fly here, if they could go to space soon, and a dozen other typical three-year-old questions. After two nights in the faux hotel room and three straight days at Shield HQ, as the little girl napped on a cot and Phil and Melinda and their teammates traded duties looking after her while searching for any surviving family or any matching DNA at all in international intelligence community databases, it was clear this child had nowhere to go. She really was alone in the world.
Fury brought the girl, Phil, and Melinda into a conference room. He addressed the girl first.
“I understand you don’t remember your name, but Coulson and May here have been calling you Skye, is that right?”
“Mhmm!”
“Do you like that name?”
“Yes! They says it’s because I was a gift from the sky.” She looked for approval from Melinda and Phil.
“And where did you live before you met us, Skye?”
“Up there!” She pointed to the sky out the window. “In a big city ship with the big angry blue men. But then I was sneaky sneaking on the ship and I had to hide! And then I came here and it was wet. And then I met you!”
Melinda’s heart skipped a beat. “You came from the Kree ship? Fury, are the Kree blue?”
Skye frowned and her eyes pled with the adults. “Don’t make me go back! Don’t make me! No! Nooo! I don’t wanna go back!” She kicked her little feet and shook her head. When she didn’t receive an answer, only shock from the adults, she curled in on herself, hiding her face in her knees, repeating how much she didn’t want to leave.
“We thought they were just warriors up there. To have children on that ship…” Phil trailed off and paled. If the Kree ship had not vanished when it did in the storm, Shield was about to blast it out of the sky. “The doctor said she was human! How…?”
“Whether this child is actually Kree or simply a lost human child like any other, she needs a home. A safe one. One where she won’t be hit by big men…?” At Fury’s words, Skye stopped muttering and lifted her head. “Or yelled at?” She inhaled deeply and met Fury’s eyes. “And she would get lots of hugs? And everything she needed?”
“Really?” Skye’s eyes sparkled, breaking Melinda’s heart again. “When I’m a big kid, can I go to the bus?”
“The bus?” Phil asked.
“On the scwream.” She pointed toward the hallway in the direction of the room with a TV she’d been watching the last few days. “The big kids go on the magic bus and the lady with the hair and the lizward ….”
“School,” Melinda exhaled. “Yes, you can go to school.”
“Schooool!” Skye squealed. “Even though I’m not blue!”
“No one’s blue here,” Fury corrected for the hundredth time.
“No blues,” Skye sighed in happiness. She looked directly into Melinda’s eyes with her own puppy dog hope. “Can I stay here forever?”
Melinda swallowed back tears and opened her arms. “Yeah. Yeah, kid. You can stay forever.”
Skye squealed and launched herself out of her chair and to Melinda. Phil and Fury filled out the Shield Protocol 0-84: Humanoid Dependent custody paperwork right there on the table. In Melinda’s lap, as the grown-up conversation grew boringly legal, Skye got hold of a pen and the blank back side of one of the forms and immediately started drawing their little stick figure family, along with odd symbols that might have just been scribbles, if she weren’t so intentional about them.
“Look!” Skye insisted. “Look! Look! Look!” When she was satisfied she had everyone’s attention, she pointed to the figures.
“You can be the mommy,” she said to Melinda. “You can be the daddy,” she said to Phil. “And I’m me!” She beamed in excitement. “And Director Fury can be the teacher.” She still had a babyish aw on her Rs, and it made them all melt, even battle-hardened, man-in-charge Diwectah Fuwy, which Phil would be teasing him about for months to come.
Raising a potentially alien daughter who didn’t remember her birth parents or much of anything before, with vague and likely violent early childhood trauma, would be a challenge that required some specialized professional help only Shield could provide, but this day was the first day of an otherwise blissfully happy life together. From that moment on, they were a family.

Jemma Simmons was sick and tired of always playing things safe. She had conducted herself as far too reserved and "buttoned-up" for long enough — she had waited in the wings on missions, waited for Fitz to express his feelings, and waited for life to throw her a bone.
She was tired of waiting. Jemma wanted to have some fun.
The Framework was finally ready for a serious test-drive. Perfect timing, as far as Jemma was concerned. The digital simulation offered her the perfect sandbox to explore her desires unfettered from judgement — or from the limitations of reality, for that matter. She gave herself "full admin control" over the system, which manifested almost like magical powers of conjuration within the digital world. With the flick of the wrist, sparkles of light burst from her fingertips to allow her to bend the Framework to her will. She summoned a bar — no, a dance club — filled with a crowd of dancing strangers, lively music, and vibrant disco lights.
And when she needed to summon a partner... well, why limit herself? She didn't want to dance with Fitz, or with Daisy. She wanted to avoid reminding herself of what she didn't have in the real world. She wanted something new.
Why not dream bigger? She flicked her wrist again and conjured up a beautiful woman — one who was fun, one she felt comfortable with, one who knew her deepest desires innately and perfectly. She conjured up a double of herself: another Jemma , through and through — equally excited to let loose and finally have some fun.

I think that the world outside of my life needs to know that one time I spent 45 minutes explaining the plot of Marvels agents of shield (hand drawn family trees and time lines included) to my friend, who had literally never heard of it. To this day if I mention rewatching a show she asks “is that the one with the girl who got eaten by a rock”.

AKA I had an epiphany the other day that almost every character in Meet the Robinsons has an almost exact 1:1 match in AOS.

@rcquicm: ❛  are you bleeding?  ❜ - kate & daisy
kate looked down at herself to check if she'd been bleeding, though found the blood someone she'd found on the street. her head shook as she looked at the other. the body had already been carded off by the ambulance. "no- i .. it's not mine."

Alright, since i haven't to hand in anything else for college (yet) I'd figure I'd spend some time developing some fics I've had bubbling in my head for a while. I can't guarantee a length of time that they'll be written and published, but this gives me The responsibility to start working on one or more.
So i thought I'd place a poll of the different fic ideas i have to see which is more popular so i can decide which gets priority. The options are:
1. Agents of SHIELD S5 (and maybe 6&7) rewrite (includes Ben as a mainstay character and defocusing on Fitzsimmons among other changes that I'II happily elaborate if asked)
2. Tyler Lockwood/Josh Rosza fic (basically Tyler sticks around for all of S1 and he and Josh bond and get together, focuses on those two as protags)
3. Post TVD canon wherein Bonnie and Jeremy break away from the MFG and get some more exploration in terms of powers and romance Bonnie explores more uncommon types of magic and meets a female witch, Jeremy learns he can still see Tyler and now has a connection to a deeper afterlife
4. Young Justice Season 5 stories mainly focusing on the Outsiders (Cassie/Wonder Girl, Tim/Robin, Jaime/Blue Beetle, Virgil/Static, Bart/Kid Flash, Ed/ El Dorado, Courtney/Stargirl, Steph/Spoiler, Kara/ Supergirl)
5. Protean City finale in Apocalypse Sonata style tying up all the loose ends and character arcs that the podcast deprived me of (istg, if only one person votes for it I'll still write it, cause let's be real this fandom is basically an endangered species atp) (focuses on Night Owl, Puck, Arcana, Crosswind, Sohcahtoa and Frequency and the assorted ships within)
I can't promise they'll all have a single cohesive story, in fact there's a good chance it'll be anthology style, but I have not written before so this is completely new territory.
And one more reminder, i can't guarantee WHEN these will be made, this is just so i know what people want the most.
