Brb listening to “you’re gonna go far” by Noah Kahan and thinking only of the team. It’s forever so them I’m sick.
“So pack up your car, put a hand on your heart.
Say whatever you feel, be wherever you are.
We ain’t angry at you, love.
You’re the greatest thing we’ve lost.”
All I can think of is the team @ Coulson idc.

I’m gonna be honest, I’ve said this multiple times but idc, I’m still completely baffled by the sheer amount of people who want Daisy (+ the other AOS characters) back in the current state of Marvel.
Yes, she is my favourite character of all time too, and in a perfect world, I’d love to see her again.
But I fear that people are deluding themselves into thinking that all will be well and good if she comes back.
It won’t be lol.
They will ruin her character in every possible way, that is just a given. Daisy finally got her happy ending, and she’s finally free from all of the pain the show inflicted upon her. Let her live now.
If Marvel brings her back, they’ll just put her through more pain again. Or pull something like they pulled with Maria Hill in Secret Invasion. They might even erase everything her character is and stands for, including her status as an Inhuman (like what they did with Kamala) and her connection to the other AOS characters. Do y’all really want that? Seriously?
I am one of the apparently very few that wants AOS to have occurred in a different universe, genuinely that’s the best outcome to me. Because then they cannot be touched.
If you wanna bring Daisy into the MCU, make a different earth’s version of Daisy. A new separate entity. Leave AOS Daisy alone.

This is sorta rant-y, but why are some people still picking sides regarding the Daisy/Fitz thing in S5 like guys, it’s 2024.
Both of them suffered for what happened. Both of them came out of it traumatised. Fitz was not truly in control of his actions, but Daisy’s reaction was more than valid. Real Fitz or not, he literally cut her neck open and could’ve killed her/condemned the world to being destroyed. Also, no one knew if he would have another ‘episode’ like that afterwards. The safest option for everyone was to lock him up.
Therefore, if I see anyone saying Daisy was wrong for that decision, it’s on sight atp.
I have a whole ass mini essay on this topic somewhere but goddamnnn. Can we stop blaming either of them? Let’s blame the writers instead.

On today’s edition of underrated AOS friendships: Bobbi and Fitz.
Although they have very few scenes, them in early season three is so sweet. Her covering for him while he chased down Monolith leads was such an underplayed thing, yet so nice. It hints to the bond that the two clearly built up- with Bobbi being benched due to her injury and Fitz being without Jemma to bounce things off of in the lab. I like to think Bobbi stepped in for Jemma in that way. I’m sure her and Fitz both needed it at the time. I wanted more of that.
Just like Daisy and Hunter, they’re yet another friendship that could’ve been so awesome but the show just sorta forgot about.

I need to talk about how utterly devastating Daisy’s expression is when Daniel volunteers to stay behind in the finale (before Deke takes one for the team instead) because it genuinely makes me SICK to think about.
Look at her:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s her sudden realisation that the one thing- the only thing- that she has wanted for herself for years is being torn away from her again.
Because of course it is, just like everything else in her goddamn life.
Of course, just when she starts to hope for something, the universe steals it away from her. Because when has it not?
She almost looks betrayed- betrayed by herself if anything. Because she let her guard down, she let herself feel again, and it was all for nothing.
And the pure disbelief in her eyes, as if she can’t fathom that it’s happening again at first- genuinely the one thing she fears the most- is heartbreaking. It’s genuinely so, so shattering.
But HEY, it’s fine. Deke stepped in and now they get to live happily ever after, the end. :,D It’s fine everything is FINE.

Okay during the very first watch of season one, was I the only one that was convinced that May was secretly Skye’s mother at first? Like her being all ‘she can’t know the truth’ and being weird about helping at first and stuff, I was deadass certain that it was going to be revealed that she was her mother.
And I mean she is her mother, biological or not idc that’s Daisy’s mum. But, that was genuinely my theory during my first time watching lmao.

I saw someone on tiktok say, “does anyone think about how over the course of the show, Coulson had to watch Daisy’s spark fade like May’s did after Bahrain?” and I’ve not recovered, frankly.

Look, there are a lot of scenes in AOS that absolutely tear my heart to shreds, but the one that personally gets me most? Daisy holding onto Coulson before he’s going to leave, when she’s crying her eyes out and she tells him that she loves him. Like my fucking godddd man. Instant tears. I’m genuinely gonna cry just thinking about it again.
Just when she finally found home, he was torn away from her like every other goddamn thing in her life. I could go off on an infinitely long rant but I’m gonna let myself out instead.

I wanna talk about Raina’s character for a second here, because she’s a character I really like for who she is and I don’t see her talked about nearly enough.
Did she do her fair share of bad things? Absolutely. She wasn’t some innocent hero with a strict set of pure morals (then again, none of the AOS characters were, and I stand by that). She lived for her and only her, and her one purpose was discovering who she really was, everyone else be damned. The world treated her horribly, so she adapted to that. After all, as far as she was concerned, why should she care about other people when they don’t care about her?
She was self-serving, manipulative and loyal to no one but herself, but I think that made for an interesting character.
Not to mention, in a way, I feel like she really redeemed herself in the end.
Like her death?
Raina’s power was literally her ability to see visions. She knew Jiaying was going to kill her on that bridge, but she also knew that Daisy would see the whole thing. Unlike what Raina is shown to be up until this point, she sacrificed herself so that Daisy would see the truth about her mother, and in turn, so would the rest of the Inhumans at Afterlife. Therefore, they’d have a chance to reverse Jiaying’s misdeeds and prevent a deadly outcome.
I think it’s really cool that in the end it’s shown that she wasn’t as selfish as everybody originally thought, and in her sacrifice, she proved said people wrong.
In all, I really enjoyed what Raina brought to the show. Her absence afterwards was actually really noticeable and sad at first, at least for me. Just sorta my take on her.

Bobbi being able to hold her own against and beat the absolute shit out of Ward and Kara by herself, after she was tortured for hours, still forever proves what an actual girl boss she is

Coulson and Daisy’s father/daughter relationship may be one of my favourite things ever, but no one talks enough about how much Cal adored Daisy too. Was his way of loving her unconventional? Yes. Was he extremely flawed? Absolutely, but he loved her so very much.

It has been half a decade since Agents of SHIELD ended and i still cannot believe they made the main character's endgame love interest the originally endgame love interest of a whole other show
