wyll is heavily involved in karlach's new heart
from the fact that she's alive at all to get it, to the sourcing of the materials and obtaining the blueprints, to its forgery, and likely its installation, wyll was there. his handprints are all over it; the idea, the execution, the support needed for her to get there - wyll's left his mark on it every step of the way
it's not wyll's, though. it wasn't something he gave to her. it was something they built together, with her at the front. he gave ideas, he gave support, he helped execute the plan, but the heart is karlach's. it is her total freedom from being owned by anyone or anything else; this new heart, she built, with her own needs in mind, and the help of the people she chose to build her life with. the people she chose to love. he touched her heart because she allowed him, because she wanted him to
karlach's new heart is her, very literally, reclaiming her body
so it's only fair that she wants to help wyll do the same
even after the pact is broken, even after mizora is dead, wyll never thinks to replace his stone eye. it's already there, after all; it seems silly to look for another one when mizora can't even use it anymore anyway
except it's not about the eye, it's about having ownership of his own body, after it was so irreversibly changed and touched by mizora. most of it, karlach can't change, although she does help wyll reclaim it as his as much as he can. but this, she can do
she's does the research, goes looking for the materials, looks for something that can change appearance so wyll can choose what he wants it to look like; so wyll can own it. so he can choose this part of himself and his body
wyll is resistant to the idea at first, but it's not that difficult to convince him. he, too, wants to be free. and maybe that's a little easier with karlach by his side. he's only known such drastic change when he was on his own, before
and if the eyes are the window to the soul, then it only makes sense that, since mizora doesn't own his soul anymore, she no longer has any right to decide what his eye ought to be
they are each other's new beginning. not because they depend on each other or own each other but because they were by each other's side as they reclaimed themselves. because they supported each other and loved each other and chose each other to be a part of the new them
wyll helped karlach reclaim her heart. karlach helped wyll reclaim his soul. and in the process, they became a part of the very thing they wanted to restore the other

Actually I'm not done with this post. Have Rauva getting her own snack after being denied live food for dinner again.
Also you can tell I have not been drawing at all recently. There will be more Rauva lore [this is a threat].

Summary:
There are no redos. No "load previous save"s. The inevitability of Death seems so far away for an adventurer. And when a simple oversight, a mistake, leads to the death of a party member, the cold hand of death takes away the heartbeat of the party. Gale, Wyll, Karlach, Shadowheart, Halsin, Lae'zel... Most of all Astarion. All left behind wondering what they could have changed. And what are they willing to do to see them again? So when the opportunity to bring them back is up for grabs, they do what's necessary, despite the consequences. The ability to see their friend again, but having to find them over and over again...
Centuries after the initial death of the parties' Ranger, Opheliana, the group has split ways trying to find ways to track her reincarnation down in the ever-changing modern world. Who will find her first? And what will they find this time when they do?
