Bc of your last post, I remembered I saw this tiktok edit SHIPPING book rhae and Alicent https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZPRcaSpgF/
And I'm ???? So y'all can hate on shipping Daemon and Rhaenyra (whom who have had several tender moments and Daemon died for her) but ship Alicent (a abuser who called rhae a whore and wished she died in childbirth) Rhaenyra because you fell for the bait ship of Rhaenicnt or however you spell it, hook like and sinker???? Make it make sense, please.
I despise the show runners for ruining the intended rivalry between these two women for the sake of queerbaiting. Milly Alcock and Emily Carey themselves admitted that this is exactly what they were instructed to do when filming their scenes together.
I actually had a very unpleasant conversation with a rheanicent “shipper” whose only defense was “But Daemyra is toxic! It’s abusive” bla bla bla.
Daemyra is a real thing. It’s a relationship. It’s not perfect. It’s not lovey dovey, but it’s real. And I don’t give a rat’s ass about the showrunners’ decision at an attempt to make Daemon look bad by doing a non-canon thing and choke Rhaenyra (regardless the reason). Emma D’Arcy and Matt Smith were both shocked that they were forced to do this.
It’s pretty evident that the writing suddenly took a drastic turn and the motive is obvious: they wanted to invent some reason to show that the Blacks are just as bad as the Greens, something that is not true at all.
Daemon loves Rhaenyra. He has always loved her, always chose her. She was on his mind even when he was married to Laena. He defended her, protected her, and did a lot more for her than her own father, Viserys, ever did. She was the love of his life.
And in the final moments of his life, when she doubted his love for her, he went off on a suicide mission to prove himself. If he had actually survived the fall after killing Aemond above God’s Eye, he would have undoubtedly returned to Rhaenyra with proof of his love and devotion, securing her throne by killing the Greens’ biggest advantage: Vhagar (Aemond was nothing without her).
So I don’t want to hear anymore of this bullshit of how Rhaenyra Targaryen is pushed by some idiotic fans to be with a woman who seduced her father, took her mother’s crown and used it against her, stalked her, abused her and her children, undermined her at her own wedding and at that Council meeting, and stole her throne. It’s sick. These “fans” don’t give a damn about Rhaenyra’s wellbeing. They just think it’s hot for these two women to bang. Superficial, twisted and sick.
Rhaenyra Targaryen’s one true love is and has always been Daemon Targaryen and vice versa.

The Daemyra beach sex scene is one of the worst sex scenes I've seen. It's so stiff and frigid and it looks like they're afraid of touching each other. There's no melting, no revealing in each other, no basking in the ambiance, no true passion in it. Let's not even talk about Rhaenyra's face at the end because if that's the face of a woman who had fulfilling sex with the man of her dreams then I don't wanna know what she looks like when she's having boring sex LOL.
And Daemyra stans had the nerve to claim that we have porn-rotted brains and need to get our heads out of the gutter and stop wanting gratuitous porn-like sex scenes. First of all: you can go online (Twitter and Tumblr specifically) and see how many of them constantly bitch and moan about how they were robbed of 20000000 Daemyra sex scenes 🤢, and how they hope next season they get more sex scenes and how they wanna see Daemyra have angry sex and sex on the painted table. They're the ones who want them to have a sex scene equivalent to the sex scenes from 365 days. They're the ones who sexualize Daemon choking Rhaenyra calling it a kink, but we're the ones whose brains have been rotted from porn. Second of all: all we asked for (which we didn't) was a decent sex scene. A sex scene that they claimed was "passionate, sensual, and loving" when it wasn't. That sex scene was purely transactional and Rhaenyra trying to secure the political bag. You know who had a passionate, sensual, love scene Stefan and Elena from TVD. That scene is everything the Daemyra idiots think the beach scene was when it wasn't. Lastly: Daemyra stans were the main ones bitching and moaning about how bad the sex scene when the episode aired I remember 🤣🤣. They were the main ones saying that they had no chemistry and that it was flat, but when everybody else (team Green, team neutral, casual viewers alike) started to say the same thing these idiots backtracked and started claiming that it was the greatest love scene in the world. Overcompensation at its best. Bullshit at its worst.
Aside from Rhaenyra's face at the end of that sex scene, it was so pitiful and sad to watch her chase after him at the funeral, to throw away her dignity and self respect and follow after like a lost puppy dog after everything he's done to her. Then she goes on to tell him her whole 10 yr life story when he doesn't do the same in return, and spills her secrets to him (poorly hidden secrets that everyone knows about) when again he doesn't return the favor. It's like this man nearly got you disinherited, left you alone in a brothel, abandoned you to get trampled on at the wedding and you just welcome him back with open arms!! Grooming 101 at it's finest! This is what Ryan Condal meant when he said that Daemon's grooming of Rhaenyra is not only abuse, but that it traumatized her and shaped her into the person that she is
Yep, they were the first ones crying about the show doing Dumbnyra and that dry a** “love scene” wrong(just like with chokegate).
Then they realized that by saying that it was dry they couldn't say that the show portrayed Dumbnyra as an epic romance so they started backpedaling and saying that the scene showed how much “mature chemistry” they had together and that there was some ten-minute cut of the scene that HBO is going to release… at some point…..
Not to mention they lied about how there was some scene of them doing it on a table that got cut(which I see they've now moved onto saying it will be in season 2 🤣).
Or how they are hoping Alys uses some potion to make herself appear like Rhaenyra and then proceed to rape Daemon so that they can get a sex scene in season two(the fact that they try to accuse others of being demented sex-crazed perverts is straight-up hilarious when they peddle this cow dung).
It is really funny to see the mental gymnastics these people will do to claim that show!Dumbnyra is the ship to end all ships and that beach sex was the culmination of their love while at the same time claiming that this show isn’t canon(the same way they try to say that Rhaenyra died a dragonriders death when that doesn’t even exist in the book. That's 100% Sara Hess’s sh*tty writing to make Rhaenyra’s death look less pathetic). Which they by and large didn’t claim until the finale then they finally realized this wasn’t the Dumbnyra show.
This show has made it clear from at least episode four(it’s actually been clear since the premiere but they don’t consider a underage girl having her uncle make passes at her to be grooming) that Dumbnyra wasn’t an epic romance, but they ignored this because incest is hot or whatever.
It’s actually cause they were the only two youngish white people in a relationship, but I’m not getting into that today since they always start crying when you point that out too. Dumbnyra wouldn’t be this popular if they had more competition. I’m really hoping they get overtaken by at least the Alysmond fandom because they truly are an insufferable bunch of delusional weirdos.
Tumblr media
This 👆🏽was a preclude to beach sex(where Rhaenyra looked like she wasn’t having the time of her life) and to this👇🏽
Tumblr media
No one was duped. These people know what a good or even okay sex scene is (there are so many shows and movies that have decent sex scenes, HOTD should be ashamed of themselves). They know how an actual romantic relationship would be portrayed. Hell, they know that Dumbnyra in the books(see their stealing and re-wording of the text) isn’t an epic romance.
It’s a relationship built on grooming/lust for political power/ to be closer to brother dearest that culminates with Rhaenyra’s abandonment(which the show is setting up since Daemon keeps abandoning her every chance he gets).
Her being used by Daemon is the reason why I have 0.001 of an ounce of sympathy for her🎻(She’s still incredibly sh*try character and her going on a racist tangent about Nettles is 100% on her).
The only reason why these continue to lie and act oblivious(and hope no one calls them out on their bullcrap) is because they don’t want to admit they were wrong(that or they really are delusional).

Again on my Hot D bullshit, this time re: Daemon. I’ve been trying to sort out my feelings on this character, and it dawned on me that I love him, but in a very different way people usually love him. But also kinda, a little bit in the same way people usually love him. It’s complicated, okay? Basically, on the one hand, he’s a lot like Larys for me - yes, he’s horrible, of course I would loathe a person like this irl, but like... He’s not real. And on screen, he’s pretty hillarious? Daemon and Larys both are evil pieces of shit, but I wouldn’t have them any other way (except for the choking and foot fetish scene, those just suck and I hate them together with the people who wrote them). His conversation with Rhea’s cousin was great, “he can keep his tongue” simply iconic, not to mention the Crabfeeder bait thing? The Dragonstone temper tantrum??? Hell, I almost want the “heir for a day” thing to be said in the douchiest way possible, except I am not sure about its effects on his relationship with Viserys...
Which brings me to the other thing: Daemon’s relationship with the few people he actually likes and respects. And honestly, in this way, the show’s writing has been kinda dissapointing. There are kernels of something truly fascinating in every one of them that elevate Daemon above the funny evil man, but... The execution tho... - Viserys. Okay, that one was actually fine, for what it was. It could’ve been better developed, but you know. It didn’t have to. Considering the show couldn’t be Magnificent Century lenght, they gave us enough to chew on. - Rhaenyra. Hooo boy. That daemyra ship is truly something. Starts out as weird incestuous bonding over feeling underappreciated, by Viserys mostly, but also the world at large. I get the sense that he is way more into her than she is into him, but that’s just my headcannon. After all, Daemon’s main appeal is that he’s funny, and honestly what’s funnier than a thirty-something man simping over a teenage girl who has a vague crush on him, but if he doesn’t want her, she could go for her hot bodyguard too, because she doesn’t care THAT much? Anyway, he still loves after years of marriage to some other woman, while she... Well, she doesn’t. But boy does wish she did, because in hindsight he seems appealing. So when he comes back to her life just when they both suffered the loss of their significant other, they get together as naturally as two opposite poles of magnets. And they are happy! For a few years, they are genuinely happy together! But his toxic masculinity gets in the way of him supporting her emotionally when she’s at her lowest point, and he mistakenly thinks that fighting for her instead would suffice, and... Hey, what’s that? He’s still hung up on her dad, who hasn’t factored in their relationship for decades? In fact, for him, she’s the emotional substitute for her dad? And this thing, that hasn’t been alluded to and absolutely ruins an otherwise perfectly good and interesting relationship for the sake of another one that is just completely over narratively and was good as it was... This was worth giving us a scene of domestic violence against the fucking queen that goes completely unpunished (she doesn’t even so much as shout at him, what the fuck?!), that is actually kinda out-of-character and that utterly demolishes a perfectly good relationship??? OKAY, THEN. FUCK YOU TOO, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. (All else aside, domestic violence just isn’t funny. I fully support all of Daemon’s atrocities, but only as long as they are funny. Going back to my Larys comparison, I had the same problem with the foot fetish scene.) - Laena. Honestly, that one was just too little too late. I have absolutely no idea why the fuck show!Daemon married her, that’s the first problem; but also even outside of that, the relationship is criminally underdeveloped. Now I could headcannon myself into oblivion, but ultimately the fault lies with the writers. They should’ve given us so much more than they did! - His kids (and stepkids). Look, I was just as hyped for daddy Daemon as anyone, but “loves his kids, but isn’t good enough in sincere emotional expression to bond with them”... Well, I can get behind that. The fact that they cut so many nicer moments of him with his children still leaves me salty. - Velaryons, Corlys and Laenor especially. Honestly, this show needed more Velaryons, period. Like, seeing Daemon with actual buddies was so nice, I wish we got more than a little sprinkle here and there around their relationship. Their reactions his marriage to Rhaenyra are not shown, the failure of Daemon’s friendship with Corlys skipped over, the fact that Daemon and Laenor have been fighting together for years and that Laenor kind of respects Daemon completely ignored... Just. Tons of absolutely fascinating character stuff thrown in the bin, because our best boys and girls don’t deserve the attention payed to Aegon the Trashy wanking. Again, fuck you.
Basically, Daemon works very well as a funny evil man with some hints of psychological issues, but I wished he as a character could be developed beyond that and he just... Wasn’t.

My HOTD EP 10 THOUGHTS on Daemon and Rhaenyra
●With Rhaenys delivering the news, this crushed the both of them.
Rhaenyra had to go to an early labor, and Daemon instantly hatching a plan with the black council on how to take down the greens.Ive seen many accusations that Daemon is cold towards Rhae. Now hear me out on this, we hear Rhae calling him, not because he should be at her side, she called him because she knows him.She knows that the news made him spiral out of control. As Rhaenyra said, he's gone to madness .We have to consider a few things.Daemon is affected by all of it,he lost his brother and his baby daughter, and he is not going to lose Rhaenyra too.He is also traumatized by the moment he lost Laena and I don't think he could handle it again. So he focused on preparing for war, doing the best he could to PROTECT Rhaenyra and his family. He is doing this all for her.
Tumblr media
Of course, he's gone mad. Those leeches usurped the throne, and stole Rhaenyra's birthright, and he should do something about it.
●The Otto Faceoff scene. Loved the way Daemon looked up to Rhae as she came down from Syrax. That's his Queen mfs.
Tumblr media
Then Otto offered that if Rhaenyra will bend the knee to Aegon II, no war will happen and that she will have Dragonstone, then if she dies,Jace will inherit it,Luke will have Driftmark and that her and Daemon's children,Aegon the Younger will be the king's squire, and Viserys will be his cupbearer.Of course,Daemon's blood is boiling right here and there.
Rhaenyra entertained this bullshit he offered and lost her fire in here, why? When Otto gave her the symbol of her friendship with Alicent, the page she ripped from a book in Episode 1.Otto manipulated her emotionally, using this to bring Rhaenyra's anger down and consider his peace offering bullshit but Daemon knows Otto right from the very start,he tried to protect Viserys from him but failed, and Viserys chose to trust Otto than him.And even with that peace thing he offered,he will never let Rhaenyra and her children live in peace, and one day, they will come for her. Otto Hightower will always be THAT leech.
Tumblr media
The fucking Greens usurped the throne and still consider them because Alicunt was your friend?
Daemon isnt having any of this because that is a fucking trap and was ready to cut his Otto's head off with Syrax roaring and agreeing as you can see, but because of that stupid symbol of their friendship and her love for Alicunt, she lost her fire, telling Daemon to stop and that she will make time for her answer. This made Daemon even more furious.
The Council meeting was even more intense than before, with Rhaenyra being too soft, and Daemon bursting out.(I love Matt Smith's delivery here, its everything!)
Tumblr media
●The Choking Scene: I know everyone and even Daemyra shippers are furious about this but hear me out.
Daemon asked her here whether she is angry about this, and she is but she can't let that lead to war because of the prophecy.
Im sorry to say this, Rhaenyra had gone soft all because of that fucking ripped page of a book that made Daemon react " The fuck is this?"
●Now, the choking part. Now before we get to that,Daemon told her that "You cant bend the knee to the Hightowers, they stole your birthright," I mean- he saw her making the same MISTAKE Viserys, his brother, did, Trusting the fucking greens, and that led to the downfall of the realm, falling into the hands of the Hightowers.
Tumblr media
Then Rhaenyra blurted the prophecy, with Daemon knowing nothing of it,this made him more furious because Viserys never told him about this.
Tumblr media
He choked her out of his anger towards the greens.Think about it, his brother died, his baby  daughter died, the greens have usurped the throne and brought down the House of the Dragon. The choking was like trying to WAKE her up. To point out that " We have to fight, fuck that prophecy, they stole your birthright and im going to fucking fight for it" And then there's this iconic line:
"DREAMS DIDN'T MAKE US KINGS, DRAGONS DID."
Daemon was consumed by his anger, and he realized he had gone too far and as you can see in his face,he regrets hurting her in that kind of way.Its so rude of him to do that to her,I hated him in that scene, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love Rhaenyra anymore.
●Recall everything. In Episode 4, yes, Viserys said he always lusted for his throne, but all along that throne is Rhaenyra. He tried to reason out to his brother that with Rhaenyra marrying him, everything would turn out okay, and that the realm is safe, and that they will bring back the House of the Dragon to its proper glory. If Daemon didn't loved her and wanted the throne alone, he would have killed her in Episode 2, but he didn't.Then this 10 year period that occured between episode 5 and 6.Daemon lost his fire in this, refusing to return to his home. He longed to be with Rhaenyra, then self exiled himself just so he wouldn't butcher her marriage with Laenor. He does nothing but to long for his home without even muttering a word about it until Laena confronted him.
Rhaenyra is his home and so he is to Rhaenyra.
Tumblr media
Plus, why did he have to sing that beautiful High Valyrian song to wake and recruit Vermithor up if he doesn't love her? Why does he have to do that if he only wants the throne for himself? This is for Rhaenyra, he is FIGHTING for his family and for her birthright, she is her father's named heir, and with Viserys gone, and even though he didn't attend the moment when she is named heir, he crowned her as the queen. THE RIGHTFUL QUEEN.
Daemyra is not dead. They may fight like dragons but they are in this together. The last scene proved it.
Tumblr media
And Daemon was proven right about not trusting the greens by Luke's sudden death, Rhaenyra realized and understands that war is unavoidable, and that Daemon was right the whole time. With her facing towards us slowly, the fire in her returned, war in her eyes.
Rhaenyra always understood him,she understands him better than anyone and that they are the same, and this is why she is not angry at him.
They both share the blood of the dragon, and they are restless and chaotic,as Viserys had said.
(This is just my view on that episode,if you agree or not, that's completely fine, and Pls dont fight me hahaha, I just want to share and make hotd wallpapers to you all.❤)

See, I told yall bullying them is the right answer. Said two times in the same interview that Daemyra love each other when you had to put a gun to their head to get them to acknowledge it before lmfao anyway, Sara's reasoning about the choke scene is absolute bullshit, still. Yes, ppl who love you can absolutely hurt you, but like, he should have lashed out on her by using words and not violence. The original idea of him calling her weak and storming out would have been perfect.
licherally sooo true but who gives a fuck now no one will ever mention this again the writers are simply fucking idiots but we still WON. WE KEEP WINNING 😌😌😌😌 daemyra nation back on track pretending we weren't on the verge of mass suicide 2 days ago 😌😌 its the true love they belong together love isn't enough to describe what they have they have a connection no one understands but them joined slay of it all 😌😌😌

The choking scene came out of nowhere, as Daemon has never shown any signs of physical abuse towards the people he loves. On the other hand he has always been hard with his words, whether with those he loves or hates. The only exception being Rhaenyra. So the course of the argument should logically give us a Daemon who for the first time is verbally harsh with Rhaenyra, thus shocking the viewer. But no, instead he smothers her. The biggest paradox in this scene is that he is physically violent, but not verbally. He doesn't raise his voice, says logical and realistic things in a calm way, and even seems to have tears in his eyes. There is a discotect in this scene that I cannot fully grasp. There is no reason for him to be physically violent with Rhaenyra, yet he is. He has every reason to verbally rant, but doesn't. I will always argue that this fight should have been verbal, nothing more. Already because it was consistent with Daemon's personality and his way of being with the people he likes in general. It would still have shocked the viewer because we had never seen her speak in this way to Rhaenyra specifically before. Also, it would have put the characters on a completely equal footing, like in episode 7 and 8. Not to mention that so far the series has apparently (in my opinion) often shown Rhaenyra dominating Daemon by his words. Examples of this: the confrontation at Dragonstone in episode 2, and the confrontation at the wedding in episode 5. (Ah, and who can SERIOUSLY associate the moment Daemon grabbed his face with a sign of physical abuse, or would it be a harbinger of that?! Wtf?!) She shut him up more often than he did for her, when we know that Daemon has a sharp tongue. The choking scene, really, doesn't make sense to me, and is gratuitously shocking for nothing. Like Jaime raping Cersei, like Wtf? There is no use trying to judge this scene by Daemon's violent actions having been shown OUTSIDE the inner circle of people he loves (the people he loves the most being Viserys and Rhaenyra) because yet another time, it's not the same context. Daemon with the world is not the same as Daemon with the people he cares about. Daemon has never been physically abusive to people he loves / cares about, that's a fact, and there was no suggestion he could act any differently until then. Clever writing would have suggested it as it goes along, this is not the case. Mysaria, Laena, Viserys and Rhaenyra. Never was it suggested/shown that Daemon had been, or could be physically violent with them. Yes, the Daemyra relationship is twisted and has a toxic aspect, (that's also why we love it / on the other hand, no, there is no grooming, we have to stop with this bullshit) but physical violence does not just didn't leave. There's nothing to justify Daemon's behavior other than bad writing.
HOTD S01E10 thoughts
Well, I thought the finale was awesome. Also, apparently, Rhaenyra is TOTALLY my favorite character, not Daemon, LOL!
- Emma D’arcy is amazing. Period.
- Sorry, ya’ll, but I completely understood where Daemon was coming from throughout the whole thing. He was like YAAAAS, I finally have a reason to take these motherfuckers down, go to war on Otto and his bootlickers after nearly 20 years. YAAS!!!! Woohoo!!
- Why, why, why would he even remotely want to be there when Rhaenrya was going through that childbirth which could possibly lead to her death when he loves her so much when he went nearly through the same thing with Laena who he didn’t love even remotely near like? Daemon has shown in the past that he does, you know, like cowardly shit. He runs when it’s too much. This is like the ZENITH of way, way, waaaaaaaaaay too much. Of course, his ass wasn’t there.
- As for Daemon choking her, duh! four things:
1. That was all about Viserys and Daemon’s major, major issues about Viserys. Never being good enough for Viserys. Viserys never choosing him for anything. Finding out that he had been heir to the throne for how many freaking years and Viserys had NEVER told him this HUGE fucking thing? And to find this out the day or so after Viserys died, so he can’t even have a good vent to Viserys about it because he’s still dealing with his major grief over Viserys, you know, dying.
2. Daemon is dealing with a shit-ton of emotional shit. A) Viserys, the brother he deeply loved, died. B) He just lost his baby. C) His wife’s throne was just usurped. D) He’s all hepped up on YAAAAAS! I can finally kill Otto and Crispin and all of those other cunts who have annoyed me for years!!
3. Daemon hurt her physically. And then Rhaenyra gave it right back emotionally. Did you see her reaction once he let go? She was all (with a smile on her face, no less) “You didn’t know? Hahahahaha! He never told you!!” Yeah, she hit back at him where it fucking hurt!
Yeah, these two fucking fight dirty as fuck!
4. Daemon Targaryen is NOT an anti-hero. He can be a monster. He can be a bad guy who does a lot of really, really bad things. Yes, he loves his family. Yes, he does, but he is not some woobie. He does really awful, terrible shit. That be who Daemon is. This is NOT out of character for him. No, sireebob!
- Rhaenyra making sure that Rhaena and Baela were part of the war council discussion… chef’s kiss.
- I love Jace. That is all.
- Every moment with Luke made my heart hurt because I knew what was coming.
- The contrast to the birth episode from the first episode compared to this one, gah. All the awards for Emma D’Arcy. ALL. THE. AWARDS. Throughout the labor, pulling out the stillbirth baby girl, holding her, wrapping her up. Gah. And even Daemon coming upon her and unable to come in because it was too much for him and then his grief on his own out in the waves. My heart!! Gosh, it was devastating.
- Vhargar is huge. Aemond is fucking evil. I hate him. I know, he didn’t mean to kill Luke, but still!
- Rhaenrya tried so hard for peace. She. Tried. So. FUCKING HARD. And Daemon was such… ugh, he kept acting like he was in charge, and some of the looks she was giving him like, “Fucker, I AM THE QUEEN, dude!” And then likewise when she wouldn’t let him kill Otto, he was all, “but, but, but…. I wanna! Why won’t you let me kill me him?!?!?” (And, honestly, I was thinking same. “Rhaenyra… let Daemon kill Otto!!”)
- Ooh, I loved the callback to Daemon and Otto facing off on the Dragonstone walkway and then here comes Rhaenrya on Syrax. And this time, Rhaenyra was WITH Daemon. So cool.
- Finally, oh, I LOVED when Ser Erryk brought out the crown, knelt and declared himself loyal to the Queen, said his vows. Oh, I was all verklempt. Then Daemon put the crown upon Rhaenyra’s head, called her “My Queen” and then knelt before her. And all followed suit. That was great.
Really, I think if the showrunners had known how well the show as going to do they would have stretched things out more and THAT would have been the end of the season. It would have been a fantastic contrast the to previous episode’s end, and such an awesome end to the episode and season. Ah well.
Overall, I thought it was a fantastic episode. Emma D’Arcy was really the MVP. Just fantastic. Ep 9 was meh, but this one was awesome. Can’t wait to rewatch it on Sunday night!

People who still use the scene where Daemon strangles Rhaenyra as an argument to justify all the bullshit that happens in HOTD with Daemyra's characters should be banned from speaking out after a while.
The choking scene was stupid and OCC. Daemon was never violent towards Rhaenyra in F&B.
And don't let anyone tell me that we can't be sure just because it's written as a historical text. GRRM never hesitates to expose this kind of thing. If he wanted us to understand that from Daemon he would have suggested it one way or another, except that's not the case so no, Daemon being physically violent with Rhaenyra never happened. It's that simple.
With this kind of argument you could definitely say that Daemon fuck Otto. It's stupid.
Rhaenyra also did not have a physical relationship with Mysaria. Both of these HOTD events are stupid. That's all.
To say that under the pretext that Daemon choked Rhaenyra in episode 10 that she can cheat on him shows to what extent these people have 0 understanding of what they are watching.
Basically as long as Daemon is demonized they are happy. And if we can also prove that Rhaenyra also likes women, that's even better !
And even better if this woman with whom Rhaenyra is cheating is precisely Daemon's ex, that way it gives the impression of a scenario where two female victims take revenge on their attacker in a karmic way ! (Yes, some idiots really think that...)
My god, HOTD is freaking stupid.
And tons of people really think this show is super well run and written ?! But wake up !
In addition, those who, under the pretext that the supposed deception is committed by Rhaenyra and between women against Daemon, suddenly no longer see any harm in it, disgust me.
Cheating is bad, no matter what.
At what point are those who are against this scenario equal to refusing to allow women to have hobbies ? Is that cheating is for you? A hobby ?
I was against Daemon cheating on Rhaenyra, an unproven F&B scenario no matter how much the antis claim otherwise, and I'm against the idea of Rhaenyra cheating on Daemon, even more so with Mysaria.
First of all, Rhaenyra was never bisexual, that's bullshit. As much for F&B (because sorry, but no Rhaenyra was not in love with Laena and did not have a relationship with her), and as HOTD.
But at this point, if they really wanted to do that it would have actually been more coherent made between her and Laena, with whom she had a very close and close friendship, rather than queerbaiting with the character of Alicent and a supposed kiss (which I don't believe in until I saw it) with the Daemon's former mistress.
Anyway, I don't watch this show anymore. I'm just keeping up to date with the amount of shit that's going on.

So on the other hand, you have to calm down. The writing is bad and stupid, including for Daemyra, but it's clear that the ship and this romance is not over at all. Believing that Daemyra is destroyed because of that kiss is pretty stupid. The choking scene didn't do it. I don't see why a kiss would. Rhaenyra outright says that she and Daemon are "halves of a whole" and Condal describes the moment with Mysaria like this :
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes. Very clearly Daemyra will survive this new bullshit. It also reminds me of Mary Stuart in Reign who cheats on Francis even though we know very well that they will still come back together later. 🙄
Besides, with Daemon's random and undeveloped mentality in this show, I'm not even sure it would particularly bother him ?
Not to mention that according to Emma, Rhaenyra probably doesn't even intend to tell Daemon, so he'll probably never find out. So it probably won't have any long-term impact, like that stupid strangling scene.
Once again, this shit scene is just there to shock the viewer... and probably have free LGBTQ+ representation / queerbaiting.
But once again, all this will have no impact on the overall progress of the show and even less on the characters concerned.
It's just there to be there.
But clearly Daemyra will get over it.

Daemon in love? Excuse me you can't be serious.
Grooming her
Trying to ruin her reputation
Abandoning her half naked in a brothel
Flirting with Laena in front of her salad
Leaving her again at the funeral cause the man was walking away if she wouldn't chase him, nothing would have happened. He didn't speak to her nor cared of doing that
Making up the excuse he spared her cause she was a child meanwhile married Laena, who was younger than Rhaenyra
Finishing as fast as possible the sex with her, he literally never looked at her once or kissed her again while fucking her. Rhaenyra was more tender cause she was holding him tight, he 0, nothing
Ignoring her feeling bad while baby was coming, ignoring her screams, calling his name during their child miscarriage
Looking at her with disgust during the funeral of Visenya (who knows what he was thinking)
Yelling at her during the council cause she doesn't want go war
Choking her out cause of the prophecy. Almost KILLING her cause she couldn't literally breathe anymore and if he didn't stop he would have killed her!
And this is nothing yet, wait for S2 and have fun on watching how Daemon damage Rhaenyra in the name of the so called love named by you
Yall saying he's in love by watching glances of flirting while grooming and kisses is out of your mind. Be for fucking real!
As I said before, this has all been covered many times, but you don't accept my answers and act like a parrot.
Daemon is a gray character and his actions are therefore generally complex, not meant to simply be boiled down to purely good or purely evil, like the brothel scene. But again all you care about is pushing your evil groomer Daemon agenda. Once again, Daemon is a gray character and this book and show grooming story is bullshit :
Over the centuries, House Targaryen has produced both great men & monsters. Prince Daemon was both. In his day there was not a man so admired, so beloved, & so reviled in all Westeros. He was made of light & darkness. To some he was a hero, to others the blackest of villains.
I've already literally said that this strangulation scene was stupid and incoherent and that, no, it's not because GRRM accepted this scene that it makes sense. GRRM also confirmed the last season of GOT with its ending and we often all talk about how stupid and incoherent it was and that GRRM himself said that its ending would be different from the show. Once again, books and show are not the same thing. Unless of course you are one of the imbeciles believing that Daenerys' behavior was consistent at the end of the series... In which case I would have enough information on your capacity for analysis. In fact, the simple fact that you repeat the grooming argument over and over proves it enough to me...
Also, once again you are complaining about me saying Daemon loves Rhaenyra, well then complain about the writers and directors who said that and also about Matt Smith. Are you planning to harass them too ?
Tumblr media
Oh and for the :
"Finishing as fast as possible the sex with her, he literally never looked at her once or kissed her again while fucking her. Rhaenyra was more tender cause she was holding him tight he 0, nothing"
Here's what Daemon did during the love scene, even though he apparently didn't do anything or show any signs of tenderness...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rhaenyra didn't try to kiss Daemon during their sex scene either ? As if that was proof of anything ? Like they hadn't kissed multiple times before with Daemon gently holding Rhaenyra's chin ? As if Daemon hadn't rested his forehead tenderly on hers ? As if he hadn't slowly loosened his dress ? As if he hadn't tenderly kissed and caressed her shoulders ? As if he hadn't held her face in his hands to look at her ? As if he hadn't squeezed her thigh in his hands ? As if he didn't caress her face again before resting his forehead on hers ? Oh and if you watch from 1 minute and 14 seconds to 1 minute and 17 seconds Daemon actually puts his arm under Rhaenyra to hug her too. Then as if the sex itself hadn't been slow and tender ? Saying that he's done with sex with her as soon as possible is the biggest bad joke I've seen. 😂
And then I repeat myself, but I don't care what happens to this already shitty and incoherent show. Even if Daemon cheat on Rhaenyra in the show, it will not impact the book because, small detail that you seem to ignore again and again, the book is not the show and the show is not the book, the canon of the book and the show canon are not the same thing. If Daemon cheats on Rhaenyra in the show, that won't be proof that he cheated on her in the book. It's you who seems to be in complete disillusionment repeating over and over again that you can't wait for the rest of the show to come out as if Daemon cheat Rhaenyra ever comes true was going to destroy me even though I don't fucking care basically. The book will still exist and from there, fuck you.
Also, no matter what happens, I will always have this magnificent musical composition for Daemyra :
youtube
And again, stop acting like you care about Rhaenyra's abuse. If that were the case you would be talking about Alicent and the Greens in general and above all, you would not proudly proclaim that you can't wait to see Daemon abuse Rhaenyra again and again in season 2. Seriously you are all completely sick...
Once again I recommend going to the tumblr of @la-pheacienne and of @horizon-verizon to educate you on what the character of Daemon and the Daemyra relationship really is. The posts of @stromuprisahat are also pretty good in general on Fire and Blood.

The choking scene came out of nowhere, as Daemon has never shown any signs of physically abusing the people he loves. There's a disconect in this scene that I can't fully grasp. Wtf?!) She shut him up more often than he did for her, when we know that Daemon has a sharp tongue, could say things hurtful and poignant. The choking scene, really, doesn't make sense to me, and is gratuitously shocking for nothing. Daemon is not a perfect human being, far from it. He's an unpredictable character, who doesn't care about conventions, twisted and above all chaotic as fuck. He's also physically violent, yes, but that side of him has never been applied to the people he loves and that was the whole point.
I'm not saying Daemon's reaction doesn't make sense to some extent. He descends into madness, preparing for war after Rhaenys announces that Viserys is dead and the Greens are coming for Rhaenyra and her children. He wants to protect Rhaenyra, her family and their legacy. However, he can't do it the way he wants with Rhaenyra who has a different point of view than his. For the first time, they are not on the same wavelength, and I understand his frustration. I understand his anger. His brother he loved so much is dead, he is even convinced that he was killed. Greens have stolen/usurped Rhaenyra's birthright. They're in danger, and he and Rhaenyra just lost their baby because of it all. That Rhaenyra wants peace at this point disconcerts him. She reminds him of Viserys, a weak monarch who ended up crushed by others for always wanting peace and pleasing everyone. Daemon's rage/madness at this point is justified.
However, Daemon is not a real person, he is a fictional character, with a characterization, an arc, and an evolution. In fiction rules must be respected. Nothing should come out of nowhere. Daemon has had countless moments where he could have gotten mad at the people he loves and been physically abusive as a result, as he could have done with people he made fun of. Mysaria who denounced him and Rhaenyra, Viserys who disappointed him time and time again, Rhaenyra when she literally told him to kill her.
My point being that it needed to give viewers clues that such a thing could have happened between Daemyra in the future, that Daemon might have been capable of some violence towards her but still held back for example. But the series as it is delivered to us, never such a thing is insinuated between them. It shouldn't come out of nowhere, and above all be useless. Daemon could vent his rage and frustration in another way.
Notice how this scene is at odds with the other moments in the episode:
Daemyra in parallel mourning the death of their daughter.
Daemyra side by side at the funeral and Daemon watching Rhaenyra.
Daemon who crowns Rhaenyra, first to kneel and call her my queen.
Daemon saying with a smile that Corlys is coming to swear allegiance to her queen.
Daemon proud to see Rhaenyra riding Syrax.
Daemyra holding hands as he tells her of Luke's death.
The last scene takes place long after the choking moment, as if nothing had ever happened. It didn't change their dynamic visibly. It was just there for shock, probably reminding them that they're toxic when the physical abuse aspect never factored into their relationship, and proving the stupid point that Daemon isn't really a good husband. , while hey, it's clearly the first time he's made such a gesture, and despite this completely WTF and irrelevant gesture Daemon stays by Rhaenyra's side and doesn't disobey her. So it's stupid. Ah, and Rhaenyra is 16 at the start of the series. Not 14 years old.
Other than Daemyra, there are plenty of toxic relationships or relationships with toxic undertones that I harbor and that I adore, some of which are violent with each other, or even attempt to kill each other. The toxic aspect in the sense of physical violence doesn't bother me in a ship, when it makes sense. Here, it just came out of nowhere. Daemyra had, again, toxic aspects, yes, but physical violence was never one of them.
We really went from this.

Daemon choking Rhaenyra is not ooc the scene has been approved by GRRM who directed the episode so stfu and find better excuse if you can. Also, him abusing her is gonna be constantly there emotionally and phisically cause Ryan said it's the moment when the relationship reveal the hided nature which IS NOT LOVE. Matt saying they were both uncomfortables on filming that is other matter. Definitely Matt is not happy to play an abuser but that's what Daemon is. Yall thinking he's a malewife is so cringe. He's the classic toxic Alpha Man and sooner or later, yall need to deal with it. t least the Greens stans is not hypocrite pretending their characters is good. Daemon is NOT.
It's crazy how right I am about the parrot aspect though. And here we go again with the screenshot of what I already said / literally predicted this shitty argument :
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, I never called Daemon a malwife, but nice try.
Tumblr media
Oh and I'm not sure GRRM approved of your vision of Daemon being :
Tumblr media
I rather think that he would be of the opinion that :
Tumblr media
Also, I highly recommend @horizon-verizon to educate you on all things historical context, daemyra + grooming bullshit, daemon being a predator of young women, with Daemon seemingly being a pure villain instead of the gray character he is, Daemon and his relationship with Nettles and much more.

Ok.
I'm so sick of people saying that the scene where Daemon chokes Rhaenyra is coherent, even worse than that, apparently it would even be downright BRILLIANT !
I am not kidding. I've seen many say it was brilliant writing.
(You tell me, it's usually the same people who find Alicent's writing brilliant... That explains their bullshit)
Like... go get treatment. It's not consistent. Much less good writing. It was just gratuitous violence to demonize Daemon's character / an easy way out to support their point about Daemyra being a seemingly toxic relationship.
And anyone who says Daemon killed all the Green kids, fuck you too.
It's just wrong.
Nothing indicates such a thing. There is no proof. Literally nothing to back it up other than your stupid idea that Daemon is a monster.
Sorry, but I'm sick of seeing this shit still going around.
It was my rant.

Reminders:
- Daemon is not a woman killer. (Even though he killed Rhea Royce, that still doesn't make him a specific woman killer. Besides he only killed men, so if we could stop with that bullshit about Daemon being a woman killer Especially since in the book, Daemon never actually killed Rhea Royce, so the argument is doubly invalid)
- Daemon is not a pedophile. (I won't even bother to explain why, just have a working brain)
- Daemon is not a man who beats his wife. (Seriously, I don't condone the choking scene, which additionally came out of her ass and is stupid, but it was clearly the first time such a thing had happened between Daemyra, all under pressure from emotionally disturbing event, so no I don't consider Daemon to be behaving like this on a frequent/regular basis as many try to make it out to be. Also, Daemon being violent with women in the books, do not exist. For that, there are characters like Aegon II and Aemond)
