Note
how about it’s really early in the morning and you wake up to find Ben doing skin to skin w/ his baby boy that looks just like him , my heart would like burst with pure fluff
okay first of all, how did you know that this is my current weakness? for the sake of the story, we’re naming baby boy james (after Bucky so hush)
The bed is empty when you wake up, cool enough on his side to let you know that he hasn’t been gone for too long. You let yourself stretch like a cat; your muscles ache deliciously and you let out a small moan of satisfaction.
You sit yourself on the bed and take a moment, reveling in the silence throughout the house. There’s a faint, sweet smell of fresh rain and you remember that your window is cracked open. It’s when you hear the birds’ singing to one another you push the covers off of you and make your way to James’ nursery.
The sight before you makes your heart swell. You lean against the door, breathing in the blissful moment with a smile. Ben’s sitting on the rocking chair, shirtless. His body is comfortably slouched, James’ in only a diaper is laying on chest.
Ben’s hand is carefully on James’ back, his thumb rubbing soothing circles into James’ soft skin. You see the back of his head, his little curls coming in and you can hear him gurgling and cooing to Ben.
Ben’s rocking gently, nodding his head to every sound that his son makes.
“I hear ya, buddy,” Ben replies after a particularly loud gurgle, “you’re especially vocal this mornin’, Mr. James Jones.”
You smile at that, Ben’s eyes meeting yours with a smile. He wiggles his brows at you and down to James. Another loud gurgle, James’ little fingers attempting to grip onto Ben’s skin but slips into a little fist.
“Hey, no violence against your da,” Ben playfully scowls. A soft gurgle. “Apology accepted.”
You laughed to yourself, pushing off the threshold to your boys. A kiss on Ben’s lips and a kiss against the soft head of curls.
“I don’t think I’ll get over this little bonding exercise of yours,” you giggle. Ben arches a brow at you.
“This bonding exercise is how the little tike came to existence.”
“Ben!”

title: 𝕰𝖈𝖍𝖔𝖊𝖘 𝕹𝖔𝖈𝖙𝖊𝖗𝖎𝖘( Eddie Munson x OC)
synopsis:
"They say that the legend of Nocteris echoes only in the hearts destined to meet. But what if this echo is so strong that it transcends time and memory?"
Love never made sense to Eddie Munson.
With a cynical view and a shielded heart, he believed that fate was always against him. Until a girl came into his life, and everything changed.
He rolled a 2 and saw her for the first time, laughing with her friends while he played with his band.
He rolled a 5 and, that night without rules, she gave him a glimpse of something deeper in the night.
He rolled a 7 and showered her with compliments at graduation, and for the first time, he saw her beyond the idealized girl – she had something much deeper.
He rolled a 10 and, while she was going through her own inner struggles, he found himself wanting to protect her, but not knowing how.
He rolled a 12 and, after a night full of laughter and confessions, he realized that she was changing his view of love.
He rolled a 15 and, even when everything seemed confused, their hearts were more connected by the echo of feelings.
And when he rolled a 20, he knew that love was never a game, and that he had won the lottery of love, but had no idea, until it happened. The bat of Love bit your soul, and nothing would be the same again.

4. Howling Prom
Eddie Munson
—" If you get thrown out of a Chevrolet, what do you get? A broken leg? A rib?"
That’s what I think about, almost obsessively. My sister watches me, suspecting we’ll never be a united family again.
Resentments are heavy. I can’t live as a creature of the shadows anymore, brooding over the darkness my father left in me.
— This isn’t what I expected from you... One moment you hate him, the next you still like the old man? — Nelly insists.
— I’m not a fan of forcing situations. It gets tiring feeding resentment, coldness... I’ve been surviving hell since I was a teenager. Almost an era of condemnations.
— I hate the divorce too, but we’re not the saviors of their relationship, Eddie!
She’s not wrong. I still have a little bit of that poison in my veins.
— We took too long to realize that Mom loves the old capitalist. I don’t want to live in the darkness of resentment anymore. Got it? — I spit the words out, not angry now.
I think the problem is us. There’s a bitter gulp of escapism in that. We’re immortal creatures trapped in our own human stupidity.
— I think happy days can come back for the Munsons. I was happy with Wayne. Maybe the darkness of the family has passed... — I declare.
— Since when did you get so emotional? — Nelly raises an eyebrow.
— Thank the girl from Howling, the savior of creatures from the dark.
I love being saved by that girl I’ve waited for since my birth on this green and blue pile called planet Earth.
— Nice to see changes, but I’ll call her the healer, okay? — she comments, without mockery.
— Call her Miss Munson. Can I already plan my nerdy wedding?
— Or should I call her the mother of your hobbit-footed elves? — She laughs, referencing The Hobbit.
I smile, but soon I notice her serious gaze. The question she’s not asking: Do I distrust her, or do I trust she only wants what's best for me?
My mind almost short-circuits. Mental breakdown or metal breakdown? Obviously, I’m the son of heavy metal.
I don’t see Antonella like that, even though she hurt me, gave me a childhood trauma. Deep down, she cares.
— I kindly ask that you don’t fool a time traveler. You don’t need to worry about my failed love affairs.
— Really? Let me remind you that you loved Quinn when she said that hi at the Howling playground.
— Here you go again, talking about Quinn. What’s the obsession?
— I don’t know, Eddie... I think you need a bucket of cold water. Wake up!
— No. I am the law of my own life.
She looks at me seriously.
— Put on some music, so we can banish this damn melancholy. — I suggest.
The balance is restored when we talk about music. I listen to Anthrax, Maiden... she listens to Deftones.
— Do you still have that Maiden CD I gave you?
— It was you? I thought it was Wayne!
My life has been a lie. I never imagined Antonella gave it to me.
— Why don’t you go back to Uncle Wayne, since you like the country guy so much? — she shoots, jealous.
— Do you like my company, sis?
She laughs, denying the jealousy.
— It’s normal to feel that way when someone takes your place as a sister...
— But Wayne didn’t take it. You’re useful, Nelly.
— Useful? What a lovely compliment... — she rolls her eyes.
— At least you don’t think I’m an idiot. Most people see me as a weird, futureless metalhead.
— Oh, I think you’re a useful idiot, little bro.
I decide to drop the emotions and enjoy Strange World by Iron Maiden while Nelly drives.
— What if there was an all-female Maiden? Wouldn’t it be cool to see girls playing guitar? Like Babymetal?
I’m surprised. She’s not mocking my favorite band.
— What the hell is this? If you want something bold, rewind the tape and look better.
She laughs and rolls her eyes.
The melody of Halcyon and On and On guides me into a relaxing state, until Can’t Fight This Feeling by REO Speedwagon starts.
— This song takes me back. As if the memories chase me, no matter where I go... — I murmur, closing my eyes.
— The heart beats violently, as if it’s being hit. Doesn’t it?
Nelly opens the sunroof, revealing the stars.
— Why do I wait for Quinn, if she abandoned me, like our father?
My sister has no answer, but fate shuffles the cards.
— Every story has two sides: the truth and each person’s version. Don’t hate the girl without knowing the truth, Eddie.
I shake my head, expressionless.
Maybe it’s not so terrible to give the past another chance.
Nelly disapproves, but I don’t say anything.
I know Lily affects me, but Quinn... Quinn was my watercolor.
And before her, blue was just another color. Now, it’s no longer pain. Now, it’s love.
— I don’t know what else to say without starting a fight with you, Eddie...
Nelly laments, banging her head on the steering wheel. Before she hurts herself, I hold her shoulder and mutter:
— Fine, your melodramatic show encouraged me.
She stares at me, unbelieving, until a strange smile appears on her face.
— Oh, already? Did you get eaten by the courage dragon?
Surprised by how much I helped, she watches me like she hasn’t done anything special.
— Any trigger can be the fatal shot, Nelly.
I take a sip of hope and make a bullet-shattering sound as it hits the target.
•••
We arrive at Linda’s house. I get out of the car and wait for someone to appear. Nothing. I ring the doorbell. Silence.
Consumed by impatience, I start throwing rocks at the window, looking like one of those 50s romance movies.
Normally, giving up isn’t an option. But this time, there’s no choice.
I signal to Nelly that the house is empty. The lights off confirm my frustration. I kick a few stones on the way back and sink into the seat, feeling the rage grow.
— Setbacks happen, Eddie. She might’ve been late and will meet you there...
— PUT THE PEDAL TO THE METAL! — I rant, frustrated.
I shift from calm to irritated as I open the car door.
— Try breaking my door and I’ll crush you, little bro! — she growls, impatient. Now we’re even.
Even though I accept I’ve been stood up, a voice hammers in my head: What if something happened to Lily?
---
We head to the graduation hall, the silence weighing heavily until Nelly decides to break it:
— Oh, stop whining for once in your life. Face it as a challenge!
— Sure, they want Jason. No one looks at Eddie, the weirdo... — I gesture air quotes, but she can’t take my drama.
— Keep feeling sorry for yourself, but what if... Quinn came back to town? Don’t waste time being the weirdo they want. Be the outlaw rocker!
— Damn, that was surgical! — My legs tremble with anxiety.
— I might not be good at giving advice, but I listen to you like I’m your friend.
— Siblings can’t be intimate friends...
— Eddie, are you mad? — She notices the change in my tone.
— No, Antonella.
— Call me Nelly? I hate fighting with you...
I stay quiet. Since I can remember, lying has become a bad habit.
She notices and changes the subject. Too smart to insist where she doesn’t want to go.
— I want to be the hostess at your graduation, since our mom can’t come. Be your mom for a night.
— Stop trying to bring positivity, or I’ll throw you out.
I tell the truth, and she pouts, upset.
— Are you going to kick me out of my own car?
— Fuck it, I don’t care.
I cross my arms and pretend to be indifferent.
I close my eyes and picture Linda Hansol’s smile. No matter how pissed I am at her lack of commitment to me... the girl is still my refuge in such an idiotic world.
— Let’s go in. — I adjust the wings of my costume, which got a little wrinkled.
I get out of the car before the courage that "kissed" me runs away.
This time, I won’t run.
At school, I was always cast as the rebel who avoided feelings. Maybe because I preferred throwing myself into extracurricular activities — the ones that had nothing to do with school. Like the Hellfire Club.
The student council was never of interest to me. It lacked substance. At Howling High, like any other school, no one seemed to care if girls were harassed by Carver's gang or if the boys' bathroom was disgusting.
Nelly and I walk toward the entrance of the hall. I’m anxious, impatient, and have no patience for conversations about feelings.
She looks at her watch and sarcastically says:
— What’s the rush? The girl’s not going to run off to the hills. Or is she, Eddie?
— Got the urge to pee.
— You should’ve gone before you got here. Now you're gonna commit the crime of peeing in front of your crush! — She lightly pushes me, laughing.
I make a face.
— Shouldn’t a stoner see nature as their habitat?
— Just because I used to smoke weed doesn’t mean I’m a forest nomad!
I shrug.
— Damn, this costume’s squeezing my balls... or what’s left of them.
She laughs, mocking.
— Intimacy is a bitch. — I roll my eyes.
Inside the hall, we find an empty spot, but my priority is the bathroom. I rush out, not paying attention.
In the heat of the moment, I walk straight in... and only realize the mistake when I see a girl standing in front of me, staring at me in shock.
— Excuse me? — She blinks, clearly surprised and uncomfortable. — I think you’re in the wrong bathroom.
Shit.
— Oh, shit, shit, shit... — I scold myself aloud, lightly hitting my head.
— Are you friends with Carver?
Her voice carries a hint of fear and surprise.
I freeze.
That voice... so familiar.
My mind spins as I try to remember where I know her from. But, stuck in this pathetic situation, my ability to think goes down the drain.
Unable to say anything that won’t make the mess worse, I leave the bathroom, pretending nothing happened.
The voice keeps echoing in my head like a scratched record.
But I don’t have time to get lost in that. Lily should have arrived by now.
I need to focus on what really matters.
Except, no matter how hard I try to leave the incident behind, that voice keeps haunting me.
And I can’t stand blank mysteries.
Outside, the rain falls heavily, thunder splits the sky, and the weather is definitely not playing around.
Inside the hall, however, no one seems to care. A group of graduates fights against the wind to get inside, and I make my way to Nelly before she finds me first. She’s excited, something rare to see.
— Hey, long-haired guy, I found you! — She smiles, analyzing me behind her glasses.
— Hey... — I try to sound normal, but my hands tremble.
— What did you do? — Nelly crosses her arms, looking at me suspiciously.
— Is everything I do wrong now? — I respond automatically, but my conscience falters.
— I don’t know... why that look of horror?
I take a deep breath.
— Okay... I... accidentally walked into the girls' bathroom.
She widens her eyes for a second before bursting into laughter, attracting looks. Great, exactly what I needed.
— Are you blind or just an idiot?
— I got the female sanctuary wrong, okay?
— What’s with that word, Eddie? — She makes a face, amused.
The hall is packed, about eight hundred people squeezed inside. Frankly, crowds were never my thing. My social battery runs out too quickly, and most of these people are just extras in my life.
After all, I’m always judged for being the "metal kid," as if my style says everything about me. But I’ve learned that fear is an untamable lion — and I try to tame that beast every day. The problem is that, deep down, I’m more of a hungry tiger than a tamer.
---
I make an effort to find her in the crowd, hoping she's just lost somewhere. Maybe it's the side effects of quitting drugs and falling for someone who gave up on truly getting to know me.
During this internal conflict, I spot Jamie and the guys from a distance.
I don't know if I feel betrayed, happy, or if I want to punch them, especially Jamie, who didn’t even show up to the party.
— Eddie! We’re over here! — Stiles yells, waving.
I approach. Jamie is dressed as Dracula. Stiles, as always, looks like he stepped out of a drag queen show. Takamori is wearing something typically Japanese.
— I told you Eddie would get a decent outfit! — Jamie pulls one of the wings of my costume. — Do these things fit you?
I roll my eyes.
— Are the old ladies fighting again? — Stiles laughs.
— Why didn’t God bring back the dinosaurs? — I mutter.
— You never take anything lightly, Munson.
— Oh, go screw yourself, Jamie.
He pushes me, laughing.
— I’m not a baby anymore, you know? And you guys don’t know the news.
— What news?
— It was just a one-night thing... — I shrug.
— Who was the lucky one? — they ask in unison.
— Does it matter?
They exchange weird looks.
— I thought you were inexperienced, Munson — Stiles teases.
— What did you expect? My uncle always kissed different “friends.”
— And who are you to judge then? — Jamie raises an eyebrow.
I sigh, not wanting to get into that debate.
— I’m not proud of it, but it was with Wayne’s girlfriend’s daughter. Annie, her name. I was thirteen.
— How old was she? — Stiles narrows his eyes.
— I don’t know... didn’t look underage.
— And you didn’t fall in love?
I let out a short laugh.
— Damn, Stiles, who falls in love with a finger?
— But don’t you like Quinn?
My expression hardens for a second before I let out another humorless laugh.
— She left. Am I supposed to stop my life for that?
Jamie shakes his head, dissatisfied.
— Would you give Annie a chance... today?
— If she wanted something, I’d tell her there’s no room in my heart.
— You’re so dumb, Munson. You could’ve been with the girl today, but you’re a coward.
— Women don’t like fighting men, right?
Takamori watches me silently before casually commenting:
— Why is the rocker acting different?
I ask myself the same thing.
— What planet are you guys living on? Eddie is the biggest perv in the group, he just hides it behind chivalry and a saintly face! — Jamie exclaims.
— I may be naughty, but I’m not the worst example of a man in Hellfire. — I retort, rolling my eyes.
For a second, I thought we were going to roll around the hall, almost killing each other, but something in the energy of the moment changed.
— At least I didn’t come dressed as a child! — Jamie taunts.
— Stick a firecracker up your ass and fly back to your mom, that planet Jupiter! — Nelly interjects.
— Chill, Antonella. His mom is cool... — I mumble under my breath.
— How embarrassing, be men! — Jamie tries to assert himself.
— “Be men?” — I repeat, feeling the urge to punch him grow. — The only one who needs to grow up here is you, Jamie. You’re a waste of a condom!
He smiles mockingly.
— And you, a failed copy of Alanfiero Munson.
My stomach churns. I’m not my father. What he did has nothing to do with me. I’m not an extension of his past, and I never will be. On the contrary, I’m a rough diamond — I just need to be polished.
They judge me for not knowing how to socialize with girls. They want sincere conversations, to feel cared for, protected. And me? I’m a walking disaster, incapable of offering anything solid.
“Love a woman’s imperfections, and she will love you in a way that will immortalize you for millennia.”
— The reality is that Jamie’s jealous because someone stole the spotlight tonight... And it was Eddie! — Stiles drops the bomb.
Jamie puffs up his chest.
— I’m the hottest guy in Howling! At least my crazy ex doesn’t stalk me like I’m a puppet.
I feel a strange relief for everything that went wrong before. If it weren’t for the betrayal, the breakup... I never would’ve met Linda Hansol. I never would’ve met Lily.
Oh, you could be mine. And you’d never cry over men who don’t know how to love a woman properly...
---
And no matter how long it takes to finish this book called Lily Hansol — I would devour every page as if it were a Tolkien masterpiece.
People are poems, they shouldn’t be read at the speed of light. But when I look at her, I see the most beautiful work ever written.
Lily stole every beat of my heart. Meeting her ignited the same fire I felt when reading The Fellowship of the Ring on a rainy afternoon.
That book captivated me as I plunged into the deepest waters of Elvish knowledge.
Today, I seek someone who loves my hurricanes, my wild, high tides. Someone to whom I can give the same love.
I want someone who isn’t afraid of chaos and will fight by my side. Not someone who packs their bags when my soul thunders. I am selfish when I love.
— The kind of man women love are vampires. — Jamie winks at Antonella, and my blood boils.
— Like you, soul suckers? — I ironize, making it clear what I think of the future union I’m already predicting.
— Sometimes you're an idiot, but... is your father called Zeus? — My sister sounds hypnotized by the blonde.
— Sorry, baby, but I skipped classes in... — Jamie frowns, trying to remember.
— Philosophy, idiot! — I cut in, clearing my throat.
Antonella doesn’t make it easier either. She must’ve smoked the joints I hid. I don’t know what’s more embarrassing: the sexual tension they pretend doesn’t exist or Nelly already electing Jamie as the future Munson.
I miss smoking. It was my escape to survive the damn adolescence. But if I stay away from drugs, maybe I won’t want to die before twenty-seven — the infamous dark age in the world of rock.
Hard to believe, but I’ve never watched the moonlight with my hands on someone. Outside of Hellfire Club, I’m just a guy wondering if aliens exist or what darker secrets this earthly ball hides... instead of worrying about this love thing.
— Eddie, there’s a girl on the dance floor. — Nelly nudges me, alert.
— I’m not going over there. She ditched the dance... — I point with my eyes, discreet.
— Idiot, go talk to the girl! — She practically pushes me.
— You think so? — I ask, trying to make sure it’s not a joke.
Eddie is far away. His mind wanders to the dance floor, where the lights flash in a colorful show.
Among familiar and unfamiliar faces, he sees her—Lily, the girl his sister pointed out. Could she really be his possible match?
The lights reflect off her red locks, her radiant expression. Every move she makes seems like an invitation, a celebration of friendship or something beginning to bloom. Eddie can’t look away. The world around him blurs, and only she stays in focus, illuminated by a rainbow of emotions.
Lily’s eyes shine, capturing the light almost magically. Eddie feels a tightness in his chest—nostalgia, yearning. The music vibrates, contrasting with the whirlwind of emotions he tries to contain.
He moves closer, positioning himself beside her, not sure how to start a conversation. After a few seconds of hesitation, he leans against the railing and casually says:
— Nice dress...
— You scared me, Eddie! — Lily turns around, surprise written on her face before breaking into a smile.
He stays there, watching her with a somewhat uncertain look.
— I thought you ditched the dance with me. — He rubs his neck nervously.
— I was going to meet you at home, but my dad wanted to bring me... — She makes an apologetic face.
— What matters is that you came. I thought it was going to be boring, but it’s not that bad.
— It’s well decorated. — She looks around.
— Do you like fluorescent things?
— They’re cool. — She watches him. — And you came as...?
Eddie smiles.
— Kas, from Dungeons & Dragons.
— Huh... I thought you’d come as a vampire.
— And you? Something literary, I imagine.
— Lily Munster, from The Munsters, 1964! — She twirls slightly to show off her dress.
— And here I am, dressed as an RPG demon, while you went all gothic... — He laughs.
Lily furrows her brow.
— Kas, huh? Not every day you see someone dress up as him.
— Exactly.
She looks at him for a moment, then narrows her eyes.
— Eddie, your bow tie...
He follows her gaze, confused.
— Is it crooked?
Lily steps closer with careful steps.
— You tied it wrong. Wait a sec.
Eddie smiles, convinced.
— Look at you, trying to fix it just so you can breathe my air, huh?
She makes a face.
— Stop being silly.
Lily undoes the knot and fixes it properly. He watches her closely, enchanted by her concentration on the task.
— See? You even offered to fix me...
She rolls her eyes, but there’s a playful glint in them.
— What happened to the Eddie who spent some time with me?
His smile fades a little.
— I just want a chance to show you who I really am.
Lily studies his face for a moment, then smiles.
— You going to show me your layers today, Munson?
— I’ll show you the best of me.
She nods, and he raises an eyebrow.
— Oh, so you don’t want me to ditch the playful guy?
Lily laughs softly, looking away.
— Shall we sit down? It’s kind of cold...
— I saw a free table over there in the corner. Want to come with me?
He extends his hand, and she takes it. Eddie makes his way through the crowd, arriving at the table far from the dance floor. He pulls out a chair for her like a gentleman. When they’re both seated, he crosses his arms on the table and looks at her directly.
— Don’t let anything convince you to give up on us.
— What, rocker? — She winks, carefree.
He leans in a little closer.
— I don’t like dancing, but... I’d like to take you to the dance floor.
Lily raises an eyebrow.
— Just stand up and come with me.
— What song’s playing?
Eddie looks at the dance floor and makes a face.
— Some generic song...
Lily listens carefully and smiles.
— Oh, it’s REO Speedwagon!
— Really? — He blinks, surprised.
— Can't Fight This Feeling. — She stands up. — Alright, want to dance with me?
Eddie is speechless for a moment. Then, he smiles, taking her hand.
He leads her to the dance floor, trying to appear confident. As soon as he finds a free space, he turns to her, placing his hands on her waist.
— Hold me like you did when we kissed in the clearing? — Lily asks, getting closer.
Eddie swallows hard, his hands settling on her waist more firmly. His heart races. The closeness is overwhelming.
They move to the rhythm of the music, bodies pressed together.
— I don’t want to step on your foot. — He murmurs, uncertain.
Lily laughs, her eyes sparkling.
— You’re holding me. There’s no way.
He breathes deeply, taking in every detail of the moment.
— Can you focus on the music?
She hesitates.
— I don’t know if I can, Eddie.
He looks at her, serious.
— Relax. You’re safe with me. Just relax... and let me guide you.
Her eyes meet his. And for a moment, everything around them disappears.
---
Being so close, they feel each other’s warmth. Eddie places his hand on her waist and pulls her closer, while the other slides over the flushed face of the redhead. The slow music fills the air. He feels an uncontrollable urge to kiss her.
He moves even closer, their noses brushing, sharing the same breath.
Lily’s eyes waver, trying to focus on the steps, guided by his movements. Eddie keeps her close, feeling the heat of her skin against his. His fingers glide through her soft red hair. His gaze locks on her lips.
— Is everything okay? — he murmurs, his voice full of curiosity and a hint of concern.
— A little nervous. — She confesses, meeting his gaze with her amber eyes.
— No one is a dance master... Stay with me, follow my lead. — He whispers, but his eyes remain fixed on her lips.
Eddie holds Lily’s hand firmly, gently guiding her to the rhythm of the music. He watches every movement she makes, captivated by the grace she exudes, like an elf lost on Earth.
Lily, shy, looks away to the other graduates dancing around, trying to avoid his gaze.
— Hey, did I do something? — he asks, unsure, pulling her closer.
She gives a small smile, still not looking at him.
— No, you didn’t do anything. I’m just... hot and happy. — she murmurs, a bit emotional.
Eddie feels a familiar warmth growing inside him.
— Me too... and hot. — he says softly, near her ear.
The rocker can’t hold back. He moves closer, his lips grazing hers. Lily holds her breath.
— I... want to kiss you again. — he whispers, his lips slightly parted, absorbing the sensation of having her in his arms, fighting the overwhelming desire to lose himself in her.
The slow music sets the perfect scene. Eddie presses his forehead to hers, sliding his hands down her waist to her back, feeling the softness of the fabric against his fingers.
When the music ends, he pulls back slightly, a mischievous gleam in his eyes. In a quick movement, he lifts Lily off the floor, holding her firmly in a final dance pose.
— So? Impressed with the dungeon master? — he teases, flashing a satisfied smile at her surprised expression.
— Quite...
— That’s how you end a dance with style. Forget the old movies, come adventure with the master. — His seductive tone makes Lily laugh softly.
They leave the dance floor, Eddie keeping his hand on her waist. When they reach the table, he sits down and, without hesitation, pulls her onto his lap, adjusting her comfortably.
He slides his fingers along her arm, feeling the shivers he causes.
— Got a fetish for my arm, Munson? — Lily teases, laughing.
Eddie blushes, trying to explain himself.
— It’s not exactly a fetish... — he murmurs, a little embarrassed. — I... like touching you.
She swallows hard.
— You change moods fast, huh? You’re usually more talkative.
— You annoy me and make me laugh. — he replies, looking away.
— Maybe you just tired of you.
— Oh, why?
— My lame jokes... that must be it.
Lily sighs.
— No, I’m just tense. They are cool, I like their vibe!
— Dances are tiring... — Eddie agrees, watching her with affection. — But, be honest... are you nervous?
She hesitates before answering, her voice trembling.
— Well... you all handsome next to me doesn’t help.
Eddie blinks, surprised.
— Oh... am I handsome?
— No. You look like Godzilla!
He laughs and suddenly buries his face in her hair.
— Hm... I think I’m addicted to your scent.
— My hair? — Lily stammers, looking at the red and colored locks.
Eddie twirls a strand between his fingers, thoughtful.
— Yeah... it’s beautiful. Always thought it had a caramel tone.
---
— Like ice cream... Neapolitan? — She smiles.
Eddie slides his fingers through the shades of her hair, growing more addicted to touching her.
— I love Neapolitan ice cream. — He teases, pressing his lips together.
— That’s weird and cute. — Her voice comes out a little choked.
— You mean... I’m going to devour you? — His teasing hits Lily’s buttons.
— Hey, Eddie! — She changes her tone, surprising him.
He laughs, letting her hair fall freely in the air.
— What if I don’t stop, redhead? Don’t you like when I tease you until you turn red?
— You know how to push my buttons. This isn’t funny!
— In my head, we almost did what we shouldn’t. Not that I’m proud of it, but... — He lowers his voice. — Come here.
Eddie pulls her by the arm, making her stand. She ends up sitting on his lap.
— What are you doing? They’re going to see us... — Lily turns her face, watching the other graduates dancing.
Eddie, however, doesn’t care. His focus is on her.
— Let them see. — His eyes shine with a daring challenge. — Because you haven’t left my mind since last night.
— Think of me with pigtails and stop with those shameless thoughts! — She tries to hide a smile but fails miserably.
— Pigtails? Cruel... but I’ll try. — He closes his eyes, pretending to concentrate. But his mind keeps taking him back to the kiss they shared. He bites his lower lip, trying to push the memories away.
Lily notices and pulls away, crossing her arms.
— Alright. Shall we order cocktails without... alcohol?
— Okay, non-alcoholic cocktails. — Eddie repeats, trying to push away imagining her in his bed.
The waiter approaches with the menu. Eddie scans the options.
— Hmm, a virgin mojito.
He looks at her, waiting for her choice.
— What the hell kind of drink is that, Eddie? — She furrows her brow.
He laughs.
— A non-alcoholic version of a mojito, my angel. Green juice with little sugar, lime, mint, and soda.
— Interesting... But it has a terrible name.
He looks at the waiter.
— Two virgin mojitos, please.
Silence settles, despite the chatter at the other tables. Eddie decides to break it.
— So, what else does the nerd have to talk about?
Lily nudges him lightly.
— Wanna know more about Dungeons & Dragons?
— Not the time... But I’m still learning. I even made a homemade master’s shield.
Eddie’s eyes light up.
— Need someone to guide you? I’m your guy...
— My guy? — She raises an eyebrow, not hiding her interest but keeping a clear boundary.
— You just don’t know it yet. — He leans in closer. — I can be your gamer master, your backup...
— Let’s make one thing clear? If you want, I’m already in your hands... I might not be a genie, but I grant wishes, baby.
He takes her hand.
— Oh, really?
— Want a new awesome weapon, an incredible monster, an epic story? Just ask.
His fingers slide through her hair and then down her lips. Lily falls silent, lost in her thoughts.
— Hey, what about... a guy type?
She looks away.
— I like playful guys, not too serious. longhair... sassy smile....
Eddie’s smile fades. He thinks about her type, that maybe he was or wasn't your type... And then about Quinn. He takes a deep breath, pushing the insecurity aside.
— Thanks for inviting me to the dance, Eddie. You pull me out of my hell. No one else can handle me...
He squeezes her hand.
— I’m glad I banished some of your hell. After all, we’re friends, right?
The moment inside the van hits him hard. It was perfect. Unforgettable.
— But I think we’d better not go into details... You were so hot kissing in my van..
He leans in, whispering.
— Don’t say the rest! — Lily shakes her head, laughing.
---
— Don’t worry, I’ll store this moment in the Area 51 of my brain, where only I can access it.
— Area 51? — Lily laughs, giving his shoulder a light shove.
— Yep, a dark place... — Eddie makes a scary face.
— I thought we stored memories in the prefrontal cortex. — She crosses her arms, tilting her head as if analyzing him.
— Look at you, more of a nerd than me. Since when do you work at NASA? — He raises his eyebrows, waiting for her reaction.
— Are you crazy? — Lily widens her eyes, pretending to be scared.
— You wanna go to Area 51, huh? — Eddie leans in a little closer. — Together, we can keep all the secrets safe, and as a bonus, you get a VIP pass to my room again...
— Enough with the pick-up lines. — She rolls her eyes but smiles. — Hey, nerd, wanna have an intellectual duel?
— We have a problem. I’m a nerd too! Fine, let’s go. You start.
— What’s the capital of France?
Lily furrows her brow, thinking.
— Italy? No, wait... Paris! — She guesses, immediately pouting adorably after realizing her hesitation.
Eddie resists the urge to kiss her.
— What a mess, Lily! Do you always confuse capitals?
He clears his throat and throws out another challenge:
— Who was the first president of the United States?
Lily furrows her brow, scrunching her nose.
— Bush? Clinton? Oh, you’re messing with me, asking me that. I don’t remember!
— Clinton? — Eddie laughs. — Try again.
— Can you give me a hint?
— Uh... He was president during the Revolutionary War.
— Wow, great hint. Hm... George Washington?
— That’s it, girl! — He raises his arms in celebration.
Lily raises an eyebrow.
— Alright, know-it-all. And who was the first president of Brazil?
— Easy! It was Dom Pedro I, right? He proclaimed independence in 1822.
— Wrong, Munson! It was in 1894, and his name was Deodoro da Fonseca.
— Huh? — Eddie looks confused, but then he gets distracted by the sparkle in her eyes.
— One more. Who was the first emperor of Brazil?
Eddie scratches his beard, thinking.
— Dom Pedro I? No, wait... Dom Pedro II!
— Oh, no, decide!
— Fine, Dom Pedro II.
— Wrong again! It was Dom Pedro I.
— Damn...
Lily laughs at his frustration.
— Your turn, Munson. What’s the largest land animal in the world?
— The largest animal? You! — Lily retorts.
Eddie laughs loudly.
— Very funny. But no, try again.
— Hippopotamus?
— No, but you were close.
— It’s bigger than your head, so it counts! — Lily teases.
— Funny. Go on, try again.
— Elephant!
— Finally! One point for you. Now, an easy one: in which movie do they say "May the force be with you"?
— Star Wars!
— That’s right! You can do the Chewbacca scream now.
— You’re the Chewbacca here, Munson, with that hair!
— If I’m Chewbacca, you’re Princess Leia.
— Stop messing with my head with compliments! Now it’s my turn... Which movie did Mike Myers play a cat?
Eddie thinks.
— The Cat?!
— I give up. It’s a tie. But, thinking about it, you got more wrong than I did.
— We’ll settle this later.
He runs a hand through his hair, laughing, but his gaze shifts to Steve Harrington, who is crossing the hall. Eddie feels his fingers tense. He knew the danger the King of the Baskets represented. He’d always felt like he could never compete, but with Lily by his side, he felt invincible.
---
— Look, Harrington with his pompadour... He’s coming. — Eddie nods his head, the insecurity starting to take root.
— Who? Where? — Lily scans the room with her eyes.
— Don’t you see him? — He leans in, his warm breath brushing her ear as he indicates the direction.
The redhead finally spots him.
— Oh, now I see.
Eddie watches her expression, recalling Steve's warning about not losing Lily to him.
— What if I invited him to hang out with us? — The question sounds casual, but his eyes betray a flash of discomfort.
— Oh, you want to invite Steve? Fine, redhead. — He tries to sound nonchalant, battling against his insecurity.
— He looks so handsome... — Lily’s voice has a genuine tone, almost defensive.
Eddie furrows his brow.
— Hey, do you two have something going on? — His voice comes out rough, revealing a fraction of the vulnerability he’s trying to hide.
— No. He liked me before, but maybe now he’s not trying anything... — Lily hesitates, her eyes searching his.
Eddie takes a deep breath, his hands tightening slightly.
— I don’t know what happened between you two, but I’ve never seen anyone look at you like he does. I mean, he’s talking to that girl, but... — He lets the sentence hang, watching Lily pick up on his concern.
— But Steve isn’t my guy. You know that, right, Edd? — She touches his arm, her fingers tracing circles on the sleeve of his jacket.
He smiles, crooked but genuine.
— I just want you to know that you don’t have to hide anything from me. If he’s just a friend, that’s fine. I trust you.
— Don’t talk like I want to spend the dance with him. I have another guy, I’ve told you that.
— Although I want you, I can understand if I’m not your favorite... — As sincere as it was, a part of him ached when he said this. He squeezes Lily's hand.
— Steve is an ex-friend. If he talks to me today, I won’t be rude, but I won’t engage much either. — She murmurs, fixing her gaze on his.
— So there’s nothing between you two? — The question comes softly, laden with meaning.
Lily smiles.
— You could still be the guy I’d take to the altar.
Eddie laughs, surprised by the reversal.
— You’re terrible, Hansol. You’ve flipped the roles. — He messes with her hair.
— Maybe, you’re the only place where I feel at peace. — Lily sighs, touching his face.
— My pick-up lines may not be great, but I’m willing to steal your soul and your heart tonight. — Eddie holds her chin, his voice thick with jealousy.
— Are you jealous, Eddie Munson? — The question rekindles the fire within him.
— I’m not in love just because we kissed. I already knew you from other times, and I never forgot you for a second. I woke up thinking about talking to you, but because I couldn’t, I stayed away... — He slides his fingers down her cheek.
— Oh, don’t open your heart... What if I have a knife? A sword? — She teases, her eyes gleaming with provocation.
— It doesn’t matter. It’s worth the risk, if it’s to win the heart of my former crush. — His finger glides over Lily's flushed face.
— And if I break your heart, Eddie?
— Your fight against the dragons in your mind doesn’t have to be solitary. I’m here. I’ve always been. But I won’t force anything. — He murmurs, closer to her.
— After graduation, if you want to invite me to Corroded Coffin’s shows, I’ll accept.
— The queen of Howling at my show? You’d go to the small ones, like... at the Hideout?
— I wouldn’t be there when they were famous, but when it was still grassroots.
Eddie grins, excited.
— I swear to God, I’ll do anything if you go to one of my band’s shows. I’ll give you gifts.
— No need. I already have the Hellfire chain. Going to the Hideout, I don’t want a gift. The best gift would be seeing the band’s frontman.
He stares at her, surprised.
— Man, I want this dance to end. And tomorrow, I want to pick you up to go to the bar and watch me play and... spend the night with me.
— And what would we do? — The question makes Eddie’s body short-circuit.
— Huh? I never got to that part. — For the first time, he seems shy.
— Think about it until the end of the dance... What would you do if we went out? — Lily lightly touches his shoulder, sending chills down his spine.
Eddie swallows hard.
— You made my neurons explode. But can I ask you something?
— You’re the master of flirting, so go ahead.
He takes a deep breath.
— What did you feel yesterday when we were alone in my van?
Lily leans in, brushing her lips against his ear.
— Comfort... and the need to have you on top of me.
The answer hits him hard.
— You were patient. I didn’t think you’d be. And your kisses... they’re light.
Eddie feels a wave of longing for that moment.
— Hot description... — He says, nervous. — Knowing I can have your heart drives me crazy to kiss you.
— Kiss? — She teases, innocently.
He exhales, trying to control his breath.
— I just want to be the guy who would help you not to have a war with yourself. And the guy who would make you discover Mordor within my lips.
Lily stares at him, motionless. She sighs, a nearly involuntary moan escaping her lips.
— You want that with me? — Vulnerability and desire mix in her gaze as she touches his chest.
---
— With you, I’d go to Middle Earth, Lily. — He holds my face in his hands, his warm skin against mine.
I’m struck by his declaration.
— Damn, Eddie...
— But if it’s my arrogance... I’d settle for watching you from afar, accepting being just your friend. — He murmurs, smiling that smile that hides the pain of a repressed desire.
— You can’t make me fall in love so quickly... — I whisper, feeling my chest tighten.
— Can’t I? Why not?
— Because... you ate my heart.
— No, Lily. I took your heart to care for it. It’s fragile like you, it needs love... even if I’m lacking it. I’d search within myself until I found something to give you. — Eddie slides his fingers over my face, as if promising to protect the most precious part of me.
He breathes deeply before continuing:
— Beautiful Hansol, you made my life less hellish. You made me trust someone again... And I don’t regret it.
— Are you sure, Eddie? We just met at the end of the school year, and you’re acting like we’ve been childhood friends...
He laughs.
— So what? I think you’re a bard who casts arcane magic just by existing. There’s a difference between beauty and talent, you know? Why don’t you see that?
I look away.
— No one has ever said that about me. Why would you?
— I don’t know anything about feelings, but I know you erase my guilt. The dirt of my life. You resurrect me, Lily.
— But I’m the darkness incarnate...
— Then we can create an eclipse. I’m the sun, you’re the moon... And they make love.
The silence is heavy. My eyes widen when I realize the double meaning of what I just said.
— Oh my God... I’m sorry!
She laughs, and I wonder why fate made our paths cross in Howling.
— Changing the subject... Did you know you saw me earlier? — She looks at me, innocent.
— Saw you? When?
— I came from Ghostface. Didn’t you see? — She plays with her red strands, looking frustrated.
It dawns on me.
— The person I mocked with the guys... was you?!
I cover my mouth, feeling the guilt swallowing me.
— Yeah, Eddie. You mocked me.
I freeze.
The hooded girl from the bathroom. The one my friends ridiculed.
Lily.
Life has a strange way of putting things in their place, doesn’t it?
— Are you okay?
My mind is still short-circuiting when I ask:
— And you have to dress up?
— Shibari and other things... — She murmurs with a mischievous gleam in her eyes.
WHAT?!
— You asked about fetishes, didn’t you?
— No, Lily... — I choke, stunned. — Damn, what was that?
She laughs.
— Sorry, I thought we were already that comfortable. My God, Eddie... You’re not going to run to the mountains, are you?
The way she fears losing me makes my heart race.
— No. — I let out a laugh. — Quite the opposite... Now I want to talk more with you.
I see the freedom in her gaze. The trust. Like she knows she can be herself with me.
And then, a phrase invades my mind:
"And you make it seem like I can be myself without fear... And I, well, want to stay by your side."
I swallow the guilt that tightens my chest.
— Forgive me for mocking you. My friends are idiots.
She raises an eyebrow.
— I’m not going to forgive you. But you’re lucky I’m not a gypsy, or I’d cast a spell on you.
Her playful tone makes me relax... But still, a shiver runs down my spine.
Women could be complicated, but in my mind, it was like a seven-headed beast would form every time I tried to start a conversation without sounding cheesy or like an unbearable know-it-all.
But with Lily, it was different. Our connection felt like two crazy people trapped in the same asylum — and, somehow, that attracted me.
Where did the old Eddie go? The tough guy who ran from love like a villager fleeing a Jehovah’s Witness knocking at the door?
The truth is, we’re puppets of the choices we make and the sins we commit, always at the mercy of what comforts or suits us.
And in the end, heaven or hell, we’ll be thrown to one side when the Apocalypse comes.
But until then, let us not die. Let us intoxicate ourselves with lust and taste the flavor of this hellish drink on the tip of our tongues.

Listen… I’m gonna need you to stop because I can’t anymore 😭😭 I love them so much and I want to be them. Like world fallen and all!
Can I add something to the apocalypse jake scenario?
I know that I wouldn’t really matter, but I think it would be so sweet for them to have some sort of moment where they pledge themselves to the other like their own version of marriage. Like they are trying to find new versions of normal and they want to prove to the other how much they love each other and so they do a little something to commemorate their love (think like the bread cutting/toasting ceremony from district 12 in THG) or even just them whispering vows to each other under the night sky
omg omg omg yes!! And because Jake, deep down, is a sucker for sentiment, you know that he would find her a ring. Maybe he’s looking for one, but in my mind — Jake has been thinking about this for a long time, and then he comes across a jewellery store that was barely touched.
You’re mad at him that day because the supply run took him so long. He knows you worry when he gets home late.
He doesn’t get a chance to get down on one knee. You never know how long you’ve got in a world like this and Jake won’t take any chances. The two of you are on watch that night and he’s acting weird. Quiet.
Finally, you huff and call him out on it.
His face softens and he presses his lips together, reaching into his pocket and retrieving the ring. Your face falls, looking between him and the diamond.
“Marry me.”
“… I don’t think that’s a thing anymore, Jake.” You say quietly, still staring at the band between his index and his thumb.
“It is to me. I love you, and I’m going to love you for every day that I’m alive. I just want… I want to call you my wife.”
And finally, a dumb grin stretches across your face as you dive forwards and throw your arms around him laughing softly. He did a good job at guessing the ring size, it’s close enough, considering. You pull back and give him a sincere not. “You can call me your wife.”
“Just like that?”
“I guess so. No courthouses anymore.”
“Yeah, I guess so. Jake agrees, grabbing softly at your waist as his eyes search across your features. He’s looking at you for the first time all over again. “So… you do, then?”
Your grin widens as you stroke softly at the short hair at the back of his neck. “I do.”
Jake swallows the lump in his throat, nodding softly. “I do, too.”
He doesn’t move, doesn’t seem to be able to, so you make the first move and lean in, kissing your husband for the first time.
Your role requires you to be out there all night, but the shift has never flown by as quickly. Sitting in his lap, the two of you list your vows to each other until the sun comes up.

Perfect pair
Tumblr media
-°•°•°•°•--•°•°•°•°--°•°•°•°•--•°•°•°•°-Pairings: Lewis Hamilton x famous!actress!Reader
Warnings: Maybe a swear word or two, idk. There is loads of mentions of dogs so Im sorry if you're allergic :(.
Notes: I saw a tik tok (by the user ayloparis) about celebrities seen on raya, the celeb dating app. And Lewis was just there (middle photo above)!?!? And it stuck in my mind (also Ben Hardy was there aswell, how random).
Summary: When you moved to Monaco, the last thing you expected was your greatest fan and a fan of a race car driver to almost force you to go on a date with said F1 driver. But when you find that same man on a dating app, it doesn't hurt that talk to him; especially because he's so gorgeous.

hc for The Heart Siblings ?
Tumblr media
Quinlynn, Hardy/Hart, and Red/Róisín were born on the isle of the lost. When the barrier was brought down Quinlynn was 21, Hardy was 18 (almost 19), and Red was 10.
Hardy's birthday is February 14th.
Hardy has been rumored to be an affair child: the rumors on who exactly cheated aren't really clear and the Heart siblings aren't really sure there's any truth to it at all.
When asked why they look so different from one another, they always respond with one of two things: "Genetics are weird" or "Wonderland genetics".
Hardy is a part of Uma's crew, Quinlynn is a part of Harriet's crew, and Red is a bit of a loner but eventually joins the Badun Detective Agency.
Out of the three siblings, Red is the only one who didn't really mind working at her mother's salon. She hated having her as a teacher, though (they all did).
Hardy (along with the rest of the crew) ends up briefly working at Auradon Prep (because Uma asked him to and he's not saying no to Uma).
Hardy and Quinlynn both avoid getting trapped in Wonderland when their mother took control (when Red was twelve or so) but Red wasn't so lucky.
They both hold a grudge against Beast for this since he did it while Ben and Mal were away (Ben was not happy to find this out and never ever left the kingdom in control of his parents again).
Hardy hated working at his mother's salon but would do it to keep the peace because he didn't want to deal with another fight.
Quinlynn gave her parents the hardest time, both when it came to working at the salon and at life in general.
Red is the only one who really yearns for her mother's love and approval still. Her siblings both gave up ages ago on that (she doesn't give up on it until after she resets the timeline the first time).
Quinlynn and Hardy are both protective of Red.
The three of them get along quite well. As well as siblings can, anyway.
Hart's full name is Prince Hartmann Hardison Hearts of Wonderland. He hates it and refuses to go by anything other than Hardy or Hart, even if it does cause a fight.
Quinlynn's full name is Princess Quinlynn Mirana Hearts of Wonderland. She is the only one who doesn't hate her actual first name.
Red's full name is Princess Róisín Evangeline Hearts of Wonderland. She also refuses to go by her actual name.
Quinlynn, Hardy, and Red all hold varying degrees of resentment towards their father for not protecting them, but none of them outright hate him (they claim to hate their mom, but well...she's their mom and they can't actually bring themselves to hate her. Not that they'll admit that).
Hardy taught Red how to do graffiti: Quinlynn pretends that she has no idea this has occurred but she's fully aware and pretends otherwise to keep up appearances as the 'stern older sister'.
Hardy spends as much time as he possibly can on the Lost Revenge without his mother storming over to get him.
Quinlynn became bitter and disillusioned with love because not only did Lil Yaz die before she could tell him how she felt but after she tried moving on with Cheekbones Stabbington, he died too. After losing them, she swore she'd never love again and she might just keep that promise. One might even call her depressed.
Hardy's weapon of choice is a pole axe, Quinlynn's weapon of choice is a Bardiche, and Red's is a flamingo croquet mallet (which her siblings made sure she knew how to use): though she's also handy with a sword and with things she can swing.
Hardy walks around and sleeps with a knife in his sock (inspired by this post).
Red's time traveling shenanigans erased Hardy/Hart from existence—which means the affair child allegations might be true. Though that doesn't explain his extreme resemblance to his dad and the fondness Qoh seems to have for him/the fact she claims him as hers.
Her time traveling shenanigans also brought two new Hearts siblings into existence: Couper and Pink.
Couper is a year younger than Red and Pink is two years younger than Red.
Pink’s full name is Princess Primula 'Pink' Euphrosyne Gulisa Diamond Hearts of Wonderland. She, like most of her siblings, prefers her nickname to her actual name.
Couper’s full name is Prince Copernicus Bayard Kingston Hearts of Wonderland.
Pink’s weapon of choice is a spear while Couper’s is card-shaped throwing stars. Pink is also handy with a staff and Couper's handy with an axe.
Couper is closer to Red than Pink is in the reset timeline. This is because he's not as close to his mom as Pink is because he gets dreams about the main timeline—the one Red was from.
He's still conflicted about how he feels about his mother. In this timeline, she isn't the Queen of Hearts: in this timeline, she didn't neglect them or abuse them by turning their friends into mindless objects loyal to only her.
She didn't do what she did to their cousins in this timeline where he exists. But she did it in Red’s.
Couper loves his mom but Red’s hurting and grappling with the guilt of erasing Hart and others from existence with her time traveling.
Pink is oblivious to this: she doesn't know why Red hates mom, while Couper can hardly look at her. All she knows is that Quinlynn is happy and loves mom, and that she herself is happy and loves mom. She doesn't know why her sister hates their mom and her and why she tolerates their dad more. It doesn't make sense to her and it hurts her.
It would be one thing if Red got along with her and didn't like their mom. But that's not the case and she just doesn't understand why Red hates her.
(Pink reminds Red of how Bridget and herself used to be when they were young and innocent. It scares her. She's afraid that something will make Pink snap like Bridget did or that Pink will do something she can't easily take back like Red, who's been grappling with whether or not she should try to fix what she did).
(How can she make Bridget back into a monster that hurt tons of people? How can she ruin her dad's happiness in this land? How can she erase two siblings and a third’s happiness to bring back another who wasn't happy to begin with?).
(How can she sit by and allow Hadie and Chloe to flounder with the knowledge they technically don't exist anymore despite the fact they're still here?).
(How can she—how could she—what did she do? What did they do? Nothing about this is right—can she even fix this?).
Pink is the most like their mom. She loves baking, loves the color pink and cutesy stuff, sometimes struggles to make friends, struggles with social cues, and is a people pleaser. It took her forever to start making friends other than her mom but she eventually managed.
Managed by getting into sports and making friends with the eventual other contestants in the Auradon Kingdom Cup Games.
But the games end up coming between them and make things stressful.
Pink is jealous of how close Red and Couper are, and wishes she could have that kind of relationship with one of her siblings. Quinlynn’s cool but the age gap between them means they don't get to spend a lot of time together and Pink feels like they barely know each other.
(Maybe she should have been named Green instead).
Pink is determined to beat Red, Couper, and all their friends at the games in the hopes that it will finally get Red to see her and start respecting her. To start seeing her as something other than pathetic for their mom being her best friend.
Couper and Red are oblivious to Pink’s struggles until the games.
Eventually Red makes the hard decision to go back in time with Chloe and the others they time traveled with (in my fic) to undo everything they did.
With the help of the Wonderland Stone, Chloe and Red (along with the other person who had time traveled with them) are able to ensure the continued existence of the kids their meddling created by making a wish with Its remaining power.
In the reset timeline all of the Hearts Siblings were born on the isle.
When the barrier is brought down Quinlynn is 21, Hardy is 16 going on 17, Red is 10, Couper is 9, and Pink is 8.
Red, Couper, and Pink are closer than they were before but Red feels guilty for making their lives worse. No matter how much they claim not to hold any resentment towards her.
The three of them, being the only ones who have memory of the other timelines, have mental health issues due to it all. They find ways to cope though.
The Hearts Siblings are all very protective of one another (and their cousins, to an extent).
The third timeline is a bit of a mix between the other two timelines: meaning it's better than the first timeline but not as good as the second. It's the preferred one for Red.
(It's the preferred one for Chloe too, who's happy to have her big brother back and to have Wonderland no longer separated from Auradon).
Red's favorite color is red, Pink's favorite color is pink, and Couper's favorite color is red while Quinlynn and Hart's favorite color is black.
Quinlynn, Hart, Couper, Pink, and Red all used to shout 'off with your head!' when angered when they were little. It's something none of them are proud of and have agreed not to talk of.
They all have gotten in an argument with the Hooks, de Vils, and Hearts over which shade of red is the best. No one won the argument but it did succeed in getting the three groups of vks to side eye their own siblings/cousins.
Quinlynn's first word was 'no', Hart's first word was 'fuck!', Red's was 'uh oh', Pink's was 'mama', and Couper's was 'Boo-Boo'.
Anyone who has babysat them or gotten in a fight with them or taught them can tell you these two things about them: 1. They all have horrid tempers and 2. They can and will bite without a second thought, but they will bite hard enough to draw blood.
Couper liked working at his mom's hair salon but has been banned from it because he lopped off a ton of hair on a customer for insulting him. He still claims it was warranted.
(On an unrelated note, Couper is Princess Debbie Tremaine-Westergaard's favorite Heart sibling and the only one she'll do business with).
Pink is the only Hearts sibling who can cook.
Hart is the sailing master of the Lost Revenge Crew.
Quinlynn is the 'personal hygiene expert'and 'hair stylist' of the Queen's Fury Crew.
Quinlynn likes doing nails, playing cards, baking, potions making, chemistry, doing hair (especially crazy hair), listening to music, and dancing.
Red likes science, reporting/writing for the school newspaper, art, parkour, sports, and detective work, among other things.
Pink likes sports, baking, cutesy fashion, and interior designing, among other things.
Couper likes hairstyling, sports, parkour, darts, throwing stuff, vandalism, and playing cards, among other things.
Hart likes sailing, parkour, sword fighting, vandalism, playing cards, dumpster diving, cryptid hunting, swimming with the sharks, pickpocketing, and hairstyling (he just doesn't like doing it for his mother).
Quinlynn at the request of @trashfr0g , eventually ends up getting her happily ever after with Ty Rabbit, Mother rabbit's kid.
Those are all the headcanons I have for now but thanks for asking.

Family, Ben Hardy
Tumblr media
Word Count: 1.8k~
Warnings: mention of having kids, all of the family members are made up.
Ben's family wasn't gigantic, as he didn't have many siblings; however, he did have a lot of cousins who also had a lot of kids, which he still considered to be his nieces and nephews. This meant that family gatherings were always full of small children running around playing, occasionally getting an adult to join them in their fun activities. Sometimes it would be one of Ben's younger cousins, but because Ben loved his nieces and nephews to death (and he could never say no to them), he was the primary target of their games.
Upon walking onto Ben's parent's back patio with him beside me, I quickly give him a kiss on the lips just as one of his six-year-old nieces runs up and tries to drag him onto the yard where all the kids play football (or soccer, if you're in America). Smiling, he gives me one quick wave before blowing a kiss and yelling, "I love you!" It's nothing unusual - all of the kids love Ben.
It's only a matter of seconds before Ben is rolling around in the grass with his nephews and nieces as he playfully fights for the ball they're trying to hide from him. The sight makes me smile as the overwhelming sense of love I have for Ben rushes over me, causing my heart to beat like a hummingbird. Not to mention the slowly growing baby in my womb happens to make every sweet scene ten times more emotional as well.
"He sure does love kids," I hear a sweet voice say beside me, causing me to turn my head and see Ben's mom beside me. Almost immediately, I hug her, smiling as she hugs me back and holds me close, her sweet demeanor reflecting the one that Ben has. "When are you two going to have some?" She asks with a laugh, rubbing her hand on my shoulder.
Biting my lip, I pull away from the hug with an even brighter smile before answering. "Hopefully," I tell Ben's mom, taking her hand in mine before pressing it to my stomach. "This one will be here within the next six to seven months."
Almost instantly, she picks up on the blatant revelation before gasping with a grin and hugging me again, almost jumping out of her shoes. "This is wonderful!" She nearly shouts, making me laugh. Pulling back once more, she puts her hands on my shoulders to look at me. "You're pregnant!" She squeals, tears making their way to my eyes at her excitement.
"Ben doesn't know yet," I quickly tell her, receiving a confused look back from her in response. "I wanted to surprise him this weekend, and I just found out a few days ago," I explain as she moves a hand up to rest on my shoulder. With my explanation, she nods and smiles, placing her other hand on my stomach once more.
"You're not that far, are you?" She asks, receiving a head shake back from me.
"No, I think I'm only eight weeks along," I tell her, watching her light up as she turns her head toward Ben's dad as he walks closer.
"Honey, honey!" She beckons him over with a wave of her hand. Smiling, he stops beside her as she takes his hand in hers and places it against my stomach, just as I had done with her moments ago. "We're going to be grandparents!" She whisper-shouts to him with the same excited grin from moments ago.
Just like her, Ben's dad smiles brightly before hugging me, giving my back a few pats before pulling away. "That's fantastic," He says, hugging his wife to his side. "Although, I can tell Ben doesn't know yet."
With a confused smile, I question him, gaining an amused chuckle back. "I think if he knew, he wouldn't let you out of his sight," He explains, making both me and Ben's mom laugh. He's probably right.
Soon enough, Ben's parents go and greet other members of the family while I turn back to watch Ben play with the kids. It's nothing unusual to see the kids try and topple him over, and after a minute of them doing so, he always falls over purposely to make the kids laugh and feel victorious.
Although, what isn't normal is to see one of Ben's nephews, Jeremy, by himself in the garden area. From afar, he looks upset. You can tell by his hunched over form that he's trying to hide himself from the rest, and the sight alone makes me sad. Everyone else is having so much fun - so, why is he trying to be alone?
Walking down the steps of the patio, I walk across the pure green lawn and step onto the concrete stairs of the garden before sitting down beside the small boy. Jeremy glances over at me, only to quickly wipe away his tears.
"Jeremy, honey, what's wrong?" I quickly ask the small boy, placing my hand on his back, which prompts him to lean closer to me. Ben and I have been around these kids since they were little and could barely crawl, it was only expected that they grew close to us.
"Nothing, Auntie (Y/n)," He promises, despite his voice wavering. I frown at this, running my hand over his arm as he rests his head on my arm, trying hard not to resume crying.
"Jer, I know it's not "nothing" - it has to be something," I urge him, looking down to see him closing his puffy and red eyes. I need to know if something is really wrong with him.
After a few seconds, the seven-year-old lets out a sigh before talking. "Everyone is better than me," Jeremy mutters, kicking away a pebble with a gentle nudge of his foot.
"Why do you say that?" I ask, pushing away the hair that had fallen in his face.
"Because they are!" Jeremy practically thunders, only to quickly apologize at his outburst. "It's just... I'm not good at football like Uncle Ben or my cousins..." He further explains, "I'm not good at sports at all, really... everyone's just better than me at everything."
Not knowing what the right thing to do is, I do the first thing that comes to mind and pull him closer to me. "No, they aren't," I tell him, quickly resuming as he begins to cut me off. "And do you want to know something?"
"What?" The seven-year-old asks, peering up at me through crystal green eyes, just like Ben and Ben's father. It must be something passed down in the family; maybe mine and Ben's child will have his forest-like eyes as well.
"I think you are good at sports, but sports don't really matter - what matters is that you are such a kind, soft hearted boy who doesn't deserve to be sad ever," I begin, smiling down at him. "So, don't worry about sports, there are much more important things to worry about. Okay?"
A few seconds pass as Jeremy ponders my words before smiling brightly and practically jumping up from the garden steps. I was expecting him to be a bit cheerier, but I wasn't expecting a total turnaround in his sullen attitude. "Thanks, Auntie (Y/n)! You're gonna be the best mom!" The little boy shouts before running off to join the other kids in what I could assume is another game of football.
Meanwhile, I continue sitting in my spot on the stone steps, thinking about Jeremy's words just as he had done with mine. Smiling to myself, I miss the larger body moving to sit next to mine just before I jolt as I feel familiar arms wrap around me and pull me close. Jerking my head up to see who it is, I let out a small laugh once I see Ben's face, his blond locks matted against his forehead from sweat.
Smiling, Ben gazes down at me as his chest lightly heaves with each breath that enters and leaves his lips. The kids probably did a number on him, going by his reddened cheeks and panting. Not to mention the small drops of sweat sliding down his flustered skin and onto his (what used to be a nice) jumper.
"I heard what you told Jeremy," Ben mutters, moving close to press his lips against my temple. He then moves his hand to my stomach, causing me to accidentally hold my breath. "You are going to be a fantastic mom one day."
Just like earlier with his mom, tears begin forming in my eyes as I wrap my hand around his larger one on my stomach. Glancing back up at him, his eyebrows furrow once he sees my tear-laced eyes. Before he can ask me anything, I quickly explain myself. "Hopefully, in thirty-two weeks, I'll have the opportunity to do so," I tell him, watching as he slightly leans back a bit to look over me.
"Are you...?" He begins, only to stop himself as I nod. Almost instantly, a grin takes over Ben's features as he pulls me against him, moving his lips on top of mine while his arms hold me tightly against him. The tears in my eyes then fall without hesitation just as he moves to wipe them away.
"I'm so happy, darling," He tells me, standing and taking me with him as the grin returns to his face. As soon as I'm on my feet, Ben rewraps an arm around me and pulls me close, causing me to gaze up at him with an almost dopey smile. "No wonder Mum hasn't been able to stop grinning," he notes, giving my side a gentle squeeze before we both step back onto the lawn.
As soon as we do so, the kids run back to Ben and try to tug on my hand. "Auntie (Y/n)!" Berniece, one of our younger nieces, grins up at me. "Can you come and play?"
"Actually, Auntie (Y/n) was about to go rest," Ben tells the kids, making me turn to him with an eyebrow raised. Although, I can't help the smirk that comes to my lips - sure enough, Ben's dad was right. "In fact..." Ben mutters just before bending down to place his other arm under my legs and pick me up, resulting in me quickly gripping onto him for my life.
"Ben!" I shriek his name, making all the kids laugh. Ben just continues smiling as he looks at me in his arms, his dad's loud and happy voice from the porch following the sound of the kids' laughter.
"What did I tell you?!"

Thylacine rambles - Talking about Walter Hardy
Alright guys, today I thought it’d be fun to ramble about one of my favorite characters in Spectacular Spider-Man and why I love him so much.
Tumblr media
Aka this guy. Walter Hardy, also known as the Cat Burglar.
Despite being a relatively minor character in the show (like…he only appears in two episodes and his total screen-time is under ten minutes), he very quickly became one of my favorites. Why you ask?
Well, it’s because I found him to be one of the most well-written and nuanced characters in the show (and that’s saying something, as I believe that one of Spectacular’s biggest strengths was its use of nuanced characters).
The episode he mainly appears in, Opening Night, is also one of my top five favorite episodes of the series and imo an example of the show’s writing at its strongest. The way it manages to balance the A and B plots using dialogue from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” was absolutely brilliant. But what I loved the most about this episode was how it handled the theme of grief and forgiveness - which is where Walter comes in.
I know a lot of people either didn’t like or straight up hated the twist of Black Cat’s father being the burglar who murdered Uncle Ben. Personally I don’t mind it; I honestly think it’s an interesting change of pace and a way to set up some equally interesting conflicts between Cat and Spiderman - especially concerning their differing worldviews. That’s something I’ll elaborate on further in another post, but for now I’m gonna focus on Walter.
I’m gonna cut straight to the chase; I love Walter’s characterization. It would’ve been easy for the writers to make him another dime a dozen, deadbeat prisoner dad who hated Spiderman and only cared about escaping - especially since in this universe he’s Ben’s killer, a character who is already very easy to hate.
But they didn’t. Instead, rather than make him a one dimensional antagonist, they went out of their way to make him an actual character with depth and nuance.
Despite the fact that he killed Ben, Walter isn’t demonized, but his actions aren’t shied away from either. His crime isn’t retconned as being a misunderstanding or an act of self defense. The show makes it very clear that what he did was fueled solely by selfishness, cowardice, and fear. What he did was unforgivable.
And where I think Walter’s characterization really shines is the fact that he accepts full responsibility for what he did. He doesn’t excuse, deny, or rationalize it. He doesn’t self-pity; He understands what he did and actively chooses to accept the consequences. He doesn’t stay behind at the prison out of some selfish want for forgiveness, but because it was the right thing to do.
Tumblr media
He expresses genuine remorse and shame for what he did and wants to atone for his crimes. And although Spiderman rightfully doesn’t forgive him, even after he offers to stay behind, Walter doesn’t protest or argue. Rather, he simply says “I understand.”
He knows he’s not owed that forgiveness and he doesn’t expect it. Furthermore, the show doesn’t punish Spiderman for not forgiving him. One could argue that it kinda did via Cat’s hostile response to him, but I saw that more as Cat (who’s already been established as a rather morally grey character) being conflicted and grief-stricken instead of the show telling the audience that Spiderman was wrong to not accept Walter’s apology.
The biggest reason why I love this so much is because of how well the theme of forgiveness is handled in this episode. This show is legitimately one of the only examples of an animated series I can think of that goes out of its way to say “hey, you don’t always have to forgive someone, and you’re not owed forgiveness even if you are genuinely sorry. Sometimes the scars are too deep and painful for an apology to fix.”
The only other show I can think of that had a message similar to that was Bojack Horseman. I find this episode in particular so great because all too often do I see the idea of forgiveness being forced upon the characters; the message that someone should be forgiven just because they said they’re sorry. Never mind the fact that they didn’t do anything to earn it. Not only is that a terrible message, but it’s a potentially dangerous one as well. (looking at you, Raya and the Last Dragon.)
It’s just a breath of fresh air to see a show handle a topic such as this one in a way that’s legitimately well-written for once.
One last thing that I’ll mention about Walter that I love is his characterization as a father. Again, it could’ve been easy to have him be some deadbeat dad, or have him and Felicia’s relationship be strained. But they didn’t do that.
Walter is far from a perfect parent but despite his crimes, he’s shown to be a very loving and caring father who wants his daughter to be safe. He actively expresses concern for her safety when she shows up in his cell and also tries to dissuade her from breaking him out - prioritizing her safety over his own. Even though they butt heads a few times, they’re both shown to very clearly love and care about one another and it’s genuinely very sweet.
Overall, I love this show and how it handles its themes. It’s one of the most well-written cartoons I’ve ever watched. I hope you enjoyed my rambling and I’m curious to hear y’all’s thoughts.
(One last thing. Walter will be appearing in my fic! As I stated above I think he’s a very interesting character and I wanted to explore his characterization further since I think he’s got a lot of potential.)

last night i watched the British indie film Unicorns staring Ben Hardy and Jason Patel
i adored this movie. The story of a straight single dad, who finds himself in an underground club and meets, who he thinks, is a woman. only to realize after he kisses him, it was in fact a drag queen. He struggles with what that means for him and the connection they have.
through the film, Luke and Aysha build a wonderful relationship. mostly spending time in the car together as Luke drives Aysha to and from different drag events. he grows to genuinely care for Aysha and even more.
Ben Hardy gives an amazing performance in this movie. and what i liked the most is, even though this movie has such heavy themes of identity. never once is there a conversation about Luke's sexuality. he simply accepts this connection and attraction to Aysha and constantly chooses her.
i'm sure this movie isn't without it's issues, like most movies. but the chemistry between Luke and Ashya kept me wanting more and more.
i laughed, i cried, i got hard. it's a perfect movie to me.
5/5 stars. will watch again.

Tumblr media
“Papa?” Your daughter asked as she gently tugged at your pants.
Squatting down so you could be at her eye level you asked, “What is it sweetie?” You gently cupping her small cheek in your hand.
She sniffled and your heart panged from her sadness. “I-I’m scawed.”
“Aww you don’t have anything to be worried about. Mr. Ben is a great teacher and you will have so much fun with him.” You tried to reassure your daughter. “I talked to him and he has so many fun crafts and games that you’ll love. I know you love glitter crafts.”
“B-But I miss you,” She sniffled and quickly wrapped her small arms around your neck. You gently hugged her back, running your hands up and down her small back in hopes of soothing her.
“I’ll miss you too, but guess what?” You said and kissed her soft hair.
She sniffled again “What?”
“We’ll see each other at the end of the day. Here look,” You replied and gently turned her small frame to the far wall. You pointed up to the colorful clock. “When the big hand is on the 12 and the small hand is on the 2, then we can see each other again.”
Your daughter smiled “Really papa?”
You smiled and kissed her cheek. “Really really baby, now how about you show your teacher your new backpack.” You encouraged her.
“Okay! Bye papa!” She kisses your cheek and hurries to her new class with none of the previous worry left on her small face.
You smile and lean back on the doorframe watching her interact with her new teacher. “You’re a natural at that,” You hear a voice say and you turn to see a middle aged man in the hallway holding a bright pink unicorn backpack. The dark flannel and the worn hat was quite the contrast from the bright colors in his hand. He seemed to be older than you imagined with just a touch of salt and pepper in his beard.
You smirked “And my guess is that that isn’t your backpack.”
He chuckled a nice deep hardy laugh and shook his head. “Couldn’t find any in my size. No, this is for my daughter Ellie.” He said pointing to a girl with an equally pink dress and pigtails talking to another kid. You smiled when you realized that that child was your own.
“Seems like our kids are fast friends,” You smiled the love of your child very evident on your face.
“Oh that one is yours? What’s her name?” He asked as he too watched them interact. Lily was excitedly showing Ellie her new lunchbox.
“Lily,” You answered. “It was her dad’s idea.”
“That’s a very cute name. Will he also be dropping her off?”
“Oh um no he…” You sighed, “He died when she was just a baby.”
The stranger paled “Oh god I’m sorry I didn’t realize,” He stumbled.
“It’s okay like I said it was years ago, and you didn’t know.” You held out your hand in introduction. “Sorry I forgot to tell you my name.”
He held out his hand and you took it. It was rougher than you thought. “That’s alright. I’m Frankie Morales. It was nice to meet you.”
“It was nice to meet you too,” You smiled softly. “Will I see you at drop off more often?”
“Probably,” He smiled. “I get Ellie on the weekdays and her mom gets her on the weekends.” Frankie explained and peaked inside the classroom setting the backpack in his daughter's cubby. When he peaked back out he tipped his worn ball cap. “Will you be at the Start of Year celebration on Friday?”
“We plan on it,” You answered. “My daughter hasn’t stopped talking about it.” Your daughter always did love a party.
“Then I’ll see you there!” Frankie smiled and turned leaving down the hall. You watched the stranger before turning back to your daughter, making sure she knew you were leaving and you headed to work.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The first week of classes went by in a blink of an eye. Lily was excited to show you all the crafts she created throughout the week and you put everything on the fridge. She had even made a couple of friends whom she talked about constantly. And that included on the way to the Start of Year celebration. You smiled at her enthusiasm which grew when they entered the gymnasium.
Jackson Academy had their elementary and middle school combined into one building so there was a wide range of ages at the celebration. The amount of people you didn’t recognize made you anxious but your daughter was excited to go.
“Papa, can I go pway with my fwends?” She asked, pointing to where her class was gathered.
“Of course, I’ll be by the snacks if you need me,” You said as she scampered away. Now it was just you. You sighed. Well snacks it was. You picked up a paper plate in the school colors and took in your options. A variety of chips and dips with an entire bakery of cupcakes and cookies were at your disposal. You took a little bit of each just to give you something to do with your hands.
The plate was folding in on itself by the time you were done. You supported it with your other hand and looked around for a place. Everyone seemed to be talking with everyone else. Damn you had really hoped being the new kid stopped after high school, but that’s what happens when you have your own kid.
There was a place at the end of the basketball court that didn’t seem as busy so you claimed your spot and watched as your child interacted with her classmates. You really wished you still had her extrovertedness. She got that all from her dad. He would’ve known how to do this.
You absentmindedly pushed the ranch around with a carrot stick when you heard a voice, “I think the carrot has enough ranch on it.”
You looked up and smiled when you saw Frankie there happy to have a familiar face in the crowd. “Oh well you can never have enough ranch.”
“I’ll take your word for it,” He chuckled, shoving his hands in his jeans pockets. “Do you have anyone else you’re meeting here?” Frankie asked.
“Uh no we’re actually new to this area of town. Just moved here a few weeks ago.” You admit. “Haven’t had the chance to explore the local hangout joints.”
“Really why do you join our little group? Just a few other dads who hang out. Unless you rather keep company with the celery sticks.” He smirked looking down at your plate.
You laughed. “I would love to meet your friends.”
“Great here we’re right over there,” He said and led you to one of the round tables.
You carried your plate over to the table and was surprised how similar that group looked. The similarities between these dads were almost impressive. They looked like they could all be related.
“This is Joel Miller,” He pointed to a man with salt and pepper dotting his hair. He seemed to be older than the rest of the group, the wrinkles a prominent feature. Joel gave a quick nod of acknowledgement in your direction. It seemed he really wasn’t much of a talker.
“Jack Daniels,” The man gave you a tip of his black cowboy hat. He was different from the previous dad with his well groomed mustache, and where Joel had the hint of Texan flair Jack was fully dressed in cowboy attire which would have looked tacky on anyone else. But for some reason it worked really well on him.
“Ezra,” This one had a streak of blonde hair that fell on his forehead. He wore a sweater that looked simple at first glance but you realized that there were deep subtle patterns on the fabric. This was paired with black jeans with slight rips in them along with thick black boots.
“And Oberyn Martell,” There was nothing subtle about this dad. Everything he wore was in some shade of yellows that somehow flowed well with each other. Gold chains adorned his neck and each finger had some sort of ring adorning it. Either he had a lot of money or he put a lot of effort into his wardrobe.
You gave a small wave before turning to Frankie. “You’ve got quite the group here.”
“You could say that,” He answered and he sat back down in his chair. You introduced yourself and joined him in the seat adjacent to him.
Though there was a bit of silence that you wanted to fill but you had no idea how to even start. Luckily it seemed like there was one of the dads who was just as uncomfortable with silence as you were.  “What grade is your youngling in?” Ezra asked, leaning against his arm against the table.
“Oh mine just started kindergarten. I had her in a preschool, but I transferred her to this school,” You answered before taking a bite out of a cookie.
“That’s how we actually met,” Frankie added. “We ran into each other at the dropoff.”
“Seems like it was just yesterday I was dropping my child off at kindergarten,” Jack reminisced. He turned to look at you. “But now he’s in big boy day elementary school now.”
“Soon you’ll have to help him with math homework,” You chuckle. “Kindergarten I can help with, but I will be utterly useless when it comes to that homework.”
“Just wait till they decided to take honors trigonometry.” Ezra added. “I love them truly, but that is not my realm of knowledge.”
“I’m sure my daughter would help Cee in that department,” Oberyn added.
“Of course your daughter is quite affluent when it comes to arithmetic,” Ezra beamed and kissed his cheek.
“You must be very proud of her,” You mentioned looking in their direction.
Oberyn turns to look at you, “Everyday. She takes after her mother.”
“Oh is she here tonight?” You asked.
He shook his head. “Not this school year. She’s traveling with my other daughters across Europe since she wanted them to see the world before they started high school.”
Your eyes widened and part of you was jealous. Everything you worked for went to your child but you it wasn’t likely you could ever do anything that grand for your daughter. Almost sensing your internal conflict, Oberyn leaned over the table and gently took his hand in yours. “She had come into a recent inheritance and decided to put most of it in a trust fund. The rest was spent on this trip.” He explained gently rubbing his thumb over your knuckles. You blushed at the interaction. “You are an amazing parent. I can tell.”
“It seems like the red viper has eyes on one another,” Jack commented over the rim of the plastic cup as he watched the interaction. Joel hummed an agreement.
Before you could ask what he meant by that your daughter ran up to the table. “Papa! Papa!” You hear your daughter call for you and you turn to see her holding the hand of one of her classmates who you recognized as Frankie’s daughter.
You smiled, happy to see your child settling in with some of her friends. “Hi sweetie.”
“Papa Ellie’s dad can fly!” Lily told you excitedly.
“Oh is that true?” You asked and looked back at Frankie. He blushed and rubbed the back of his neck.
“Technically it’s true. I just fly a helicopter.” He admitted.
“Ya but that’s still really cool!” Ellie chimed in. “Maybe Daddy can show you his ship sometime?”
You giggled “I think I would very much like that.”
The two girls giggled and hurried back to their little group. You looked back at Frankie who was slightly hiding behind his hand.
“Seems like ya daughters are already setting you up on a date,” Jack winkied before taking another sip of his lemonade.
Frankie rolled his eyes. “Jack, you say that everytime.”
Jack smiled and leaned back in his plastic chair. “Well I’m just stating the facts, partner.”
“Is this something your daughter does often?” You asked him.
“Yes she’s convinced about true love ever since I let her watch the Princess Bride,” He sighed and fidgeted with his napkin.
“Better than my child. I am all for self expression but I could only take so many different renditions of My Little Pony,” Oberyn commented.
Ezra smirked and wrapped his arm around Oberyn’s bicep. “Though you have to admit the zombie apocalypse version had you on the edge of your seat. It was almost Shakespearan.”
Oberyn looked down at his partner and kissed his head. “Okay you do have a point.”
“Sounds like you have a little creator on your hands,” You smiled.
“Whatever creative outlet she wants to explore, I am more than willing to fund.” Oberyn answered.
You smiled softly. The conversation flowed well within the group and you really appreciated having other dads that could help you through your parenting journey. They weren't what you were expecting. Most of the dads you had met before were usually indifferent about their children and their interests, but it was really nice to see them all give their whole hearts into their children.
Before you could say anything else, the principal stood up on the auditorium stage and began his quick introduction to the school year. You didn’t know it yet, but it was indeed going to be quite the school year for you too.
~~~~~~~~
“I promise I can create programming,” You sighed, rubbing your eyes. The library needed something for the calendar for the fall season, but you swear you peaked last year. Sensing your turmoil, your favorite coworker swiveled their chair to face you.
“And I can tell you that you just burnt yourself out when you did the How to Fair and don’t forget the Scarecrow festival. You run that every year. And you run a bookclub on top of it.” They mentioned twirling a pencil in their fingers. “You already do a lot of programming. Just make Chris come up with something. You know he’s looking for any excuse to do something for the library.”
You groaned, leaning your head down against the coolness of the desk. “I hate it when you’re right.”
They gently patted your back and stood up from their chair. “Here give me your mug. It's clear you need a caffeine boost.”
You lift your mug up for them, your head not leaving the desk. “You are a god sent.”
“Well I’m not sure if a god sent me, but some powers that be sure did,” They chuckled and went back to the break room for a refill.
The quiet of the library allowed you some sense of calm while your mind raced. The library was a great place to work just sometimes it required a lot of your mental capacity. You stayed like that for a moment trying to brainstorm an idea when a familiar voice asked, “I have a feeling that it’s not just the Dewey Decimal system that’s got you all worn out.”
You looked up and was surprised to see Ezra here. “Not just Dewey. Marc has my number too apparently.” You rubbed your eyes. “But it’s nice to see you.”
“It’s a pleasant surprise to see you working at this establishment,” He mentioned leaning against the counter.
“Been working here for some time, just at another branch. I transferred here which happened to be closer to where Lily goes to school.”
“Well now I am more justified to come to visit this alluring library. Actually that brings me to my inquiry.” He perked up and leaned over the desk.
“You came to the right place. I’m all ears,” You chuckled.
“I’m actually looking for a book. Where might your copy of A Clockwork Orange be?”
“Let me check,” You say as you type away on your computer. After a few different searches you say, “Seems like our copy is checked out, but I can put a hold on it if you want.”
“That would be perfect,” Ezra smiled and pulled out his library card, handing it to you. You blushed as your fingers brushed against yours, but you quickly recovered.
You scanned his library card with a soft beep, and after a few more clicks you announced, “That book has been placed on hold for you.” You hand the card back over to Ezra who slides it back into his wallet.
“Thank you kindly as ever. I’ll hopefully see ya around sometime.” He smiled before turning away.
“Have a good day,” You waved after him as he left your area. A smile grew on your face.
You had to rub lean your hand on your cheek to hide the slight blush on your cheek. “Well now you haven’t told me about him yet,” The voice of your coworker made you jump. They chuckled and set the mug next to you. Plopping themselves back in their section, they said “Spill.”
“It really is nothing,” You state, holding the warm mug in your hands.
“Oh ya and I’m Santa Claus,” They roll their eyes.
“I don’t know what you do on the weekends,” You joke. “And you always take December off.”
“Touche but that’s not the point. You don’t just blush at every patron.”
“Ugh fine, we met at the start of the school year party. Frankie introduced me to his friend group. He was their with several other dads whose kids all go to the same school”
“Well that’s one hell of a meet cute,” They wiggled their eyebrows over the rim of their mug.
“Yes but I’m sure they have a partner. I saw them together at the party. They seemed to be pretty attached to each other.”
Your coworker was quiet for a moment and looked back to see if Ezra was still there. He lingered at one of the displays before heading out the sliding doors. When he left they turned back to you. “Pull up their file.”
You looked over at them quizzically, but pulled up their information that was still up from the hold. Tilting the screen so they could see. “Here.”
They rolled closer to you scanning the information. “I knew he sounded familiar. He comes in here with his partner for that poly support group that comes every Wednesday evening. I think his partner's name is Oberyn. I can’t forget a name like that.”
You blushed. “Then that’s him.”  You turned back to his information and did a double take. Something about his address looked familiar. “Wait a second.”
“What?” Your coworker leaned closer to you taking in the information.
“This,” You pointed to the address. “That’s near my house. Like two or three houses down in the cul de sac.”
Their eyes widened. “That’s a crazy coincidence.”
You hurriedly typed another name in the search bar. Jack Daniels. You searched his profile too. Same thing two doors down. “How have I not noticed this?”
“What, what haven’t you noticed?” They frantically searched between you and the screen.
But you didn’t answer them. You typed in a few more names. Joel Miller. Frankie Morales. Oberyn Martell. One to the left of you, one to the right of you, and one on the other side of the street.
“Holy shit,” You whispered.
“What!” They raised their voice.
You blushed as you looked back at your coworker. “You remember that back to school party where I met all of those handsome men?”
“Yes and you wouldn’t stop talking about them. What about it?”
You paused before saying, “They all live in the same street as me.”
Their eyes widened and they turned back to the screen. “That’s so crazy! All of them?.” They turned back to you with a smirk when they realized what that meant. “And you’ve been talking about them nonstop this past week.” You could see the wicked gleam in their eyes.
“No I can’t go flirting with all those guys,” You quickly shut down any idea they were having.
“I know you and you’ve been wanting to explore your poly side for a while now. I’m not usually one to believe in fate, but when five handsome men just fall in your life you thank a higher being.”
You take a long sip of your coffee. You sighed “If I do this and that’s the biggest if, how am I to know if they are even okay with this?”
“You ask, you flirt and you find out.” They tell you softly. “I know you need this. Come on. You haven’t had this much fun in a while.”
You thought for a moment staring into the dark liquid. “I hate it when you're right.”
They chuckled and went back to their computer. “I can’t help it. I just call it when I see it.”
You lean back in your chair rubbing your eyes as you stare at the address. What have you gotten yourself into?

You said they knew (ABO-AU)
Summary: alpha!Eddie and omega!Jason meet their alpha!sons girlfriend. They weren't expecting another alpha. (basically pure fluff)
Wordcount: 1.942
Authors note: Did I watch 'Bohemian Rhapsody' the other day and though cutie pattotie Ben Hardy would be the perfekt love child of Jason and Eddie? Yes. Is that also the only reason, why I wrote this fanfiction? Also yes. Enjoy.
Tumblr media
“Put the bowl back down!”
“I just want to give it a taste!”
“Munson!”
“Don’t 'Munson' me. You said 'Yes, I do.' Mr. Carver-Munson.”
“Can't you for once-”
“Paps. Dad.”
The eyes oft he fighting couple shot to their son.
Eddie and Jason immediately took a stance. “Axel. You're here early.” Jason noted, placing the mixing bowl on the kitchen counter.
“Yeah. I guess you really do get through traffic better, if you get up early....Anyway. Um, this is (Y/n). My girlfriend... I told you about her.” Axel scratched through his wild blond curls sheepishly.
“Hi (Y/n).”, Jason started and held out his hand, when it hit him. The scent of an alpha, who was neither his son nor his husband. Surprised, he looked at the girl's face.
She smiled sheepishly. “Hello.” She turned to Axel. “You said they knew.”, she murmured reprovingly.
“I was determined to tell them, but-”
“But he hasn't made it yet.” Eddie reached for her hand. “Hi. I'm Eddie, and the one with the stick up his ass here is Jason. I'm dad. This is paps. Come on in. Dinner will be a while. Just bring your stuff up first.” He grinned cheerfully and pushed them out of the hallway into the kitchen and on to the stairs. “By then, my husband will have processed everything here too.”
“You're such a-”
Eddie kissed Jason quickly on the lips. “Love you too. Save the rest for later.“, he winked at him.
Jason just rolled his eyes and reached for the bowl of batter again.
The two Alphas disappeared from the room with their bags.
Eddie looked at his husband. He was standing motionless in front of the bowl of muffin batter.
“Jason?”
“Huh?”
“All good?”
Jason looked blankly at the batter.
“Why didn't he say anything?”, he asked incredulously.
Eddie shrugged his shoulders. “Maybe he just didn't know, how to say it.” He hugged his husband from behind. He kissed him on the top of his head. “I mean you see and hear about it more and more, but... You know how people can be and what stories there are.”
“But doesn't he know we love him?”
Jason felt Eddie's hands stroking his back. “I don't think that made him any less nervous.”
“Is that why he didn't want to come to church with me anymore?”
He felt another kiss on his head. “Jason. Honey.” Eddie turned him to face him. Brown eyes met blue. “We'll talk to them later. Don't worry your head now. He's told us now. That's all that matters.”
Eddie pressed another kiss to his forehead. “Now give me some of that buttercream.”
“No.”
“Come on.”
“I've already made extra. But now just wait until I can put the rest on the cupcakes.”
“Aww. You made extra for me?”
“Shut up.”
“Ah there's my tiger.”
“I swear to God.”
“Love you too.”
Tumblr media
“So, how did you two meet?” Eddie asked, relaxed and spooning up a bowl of buttercream.
(Y/n) smiled mischievously. She looked teasingly at Axel. He blushed, but also had to grin slightly.
“We're in a creative workgroup together and I asked her out.”
“He was shouting me out.”
“I was nervous and I'd already had six coffee that day.”
She laughed. He smiled gently at her.
Jason eyed her. “What are you studying?”
“Law. But I'm in some creative working groups. Like Axel.”
Jason nodded. “Law... I specialized in business law back then.”
“You studied law too?”
“Yes... Even as an Omega.” He nodded stiffly.
“I mean why not? Our top student of the year is an Omega. Photographic memory. The guy is a walking law book. It's almost scary.“, she smiled.
Jason nodded. “What do you want to specialize in?”
“Criminal law.”
“Ambitious.”
“Rather stubborn.”, she admitted with a smile.
He nodded. And continued eating his steak.
Axel and Eddie looked at each other uncertainly. Neither of them knew him like this.
(Y/n) tried, not to let the whole thing get to her. She turned to Eddie.
“How did you actually meet?”
Eddie grinned. “We got to know each other in school and we hated each other to bits back then.”, he explained in a dreamy voice. “Well, he went to university afterwards and I slowly took root with the band. Several years later, when we were starting to need help with all the contracts, a friend told me about a top lawyer who simply couldn't get a job because he was an omega... It were different times. And suddenly we were standing in front of each other again. We got to know each other again. We realized that we weren't so dissimilar. And after Jason asked me again and again-”
“Munson!”
“Fine. After I asked Jason out again and again, he finally said yes. And less than three years later, Axel was born.” He grinned. “And I still have all the baby pictures.”
“Dad.” the young alpha whined. “Come on.”
He just winked at his son.
“While we're on the subject. He so vehemently denies having had a power ranger phase, that it ist suspicious.“, (Y/n) whispered sweetly.
Even Jason had to snort amused at that.
Eddie jumped up. “We've even still got the costumes. Wait here.“, he said and ran up the stairs.
“Dad!” Axel ran after his father.
(Y/n) grinned. “How bad was it?”, she asked mischievously, turning to Jason.
“Eddie had a hard time stopping me from breaking the TV.”, he admitted dryly. He put down his fork. “I want to apologize for the way I acted today.”, he said curtly.
(Y/n) looked at him in surprise.
“It's not you. But this is all new to me today and my husband never tires of pointing out that I'm not good with feelings. Give me a few days.”
She nodded. “Of course. No problem.”
“Here they are.”, Eddie sang, placing a photo album on the table and flipping it open before it even hit the table.
Tumblr media
Jason was already in bed solving one of those sudoku puzzles, while Eddie was still getting ready. He had just stuck the little gel pads under his eyes, when he heard a very soft sigh. He looked around the corner. The reading glasses were perched on Jason's nose as usual and the pen was tapping restlessly on the small pad.
“Is that one magic number missing again?”, Eddie asked, leaning against the doorframe. He looked at his hands for a moment. He should get a manicure again. The black was already peeling off.
Jason threw the pad next to him and looked at his husband. His arms crossed.
Eddie sighed. “Remember Dr. Miller's golden rule.”, he sighed. “You have to tell me what's bothering you.”
“You can just ask me and not always blame our couples therapist.” Jason felt a kiss on his shoulder.
“What's going on in here?”, he asked, tapping the blond's temple.
He sighed. “She's an alpha... What if I can't protect Axel?”
Eddie pulled him close. He let him. Curled up against his chest.
“You really don't know yourself well, do you?”, mumbled Eddie.
“What's that supposed to mean now?”
“I remember an omega who tore up our management contract in front of a seasoned alpha in the music industry and told him, the most he could do with it, was wipe his ass.”
Jason smirked slightly. “That was a really shitty contract.”
“Or the omega who slipped laxatives to the lead singer, who tried to publicly harm us, before a live interview.”
“That was never proven.”
Eddie laughed. “What I'm saying is: I don't think you need to worry about that.”
“Hmm.”
“I'm serious.”
“Okay.”
Eddie continued to rub his back and they let the silence envelop them.
Then there was a rumble in the house...and not a quiet one.
“What was that?” Jason asked immediately, alarmed.
“I'll go and see.”, Eddie said and pushed himself out of bed. No sooner had he opened the door, however, they heard 'Korn' coming from Axel's room. It was just so noticeably minimally too loud that the two of them knew immediately, what was going on.
Eddie grinned. Jason sighed. “This is worse than you guys were in your early days.”, he grumbled.
Eddie grinned. “We weren't that bad.”
“You didn't even plug one of your guitarists into a speaker, he was that bad.”
Eddie grinned. “But he had a charisma like no other... Do I knock and ask if they need anything? 'Do you guys need anything? Some snacks? A condom?‘”
“How do you always manage to quote that movie?” Jason shook his head, but Eddie could see the suppressed smirk.
“Because 'I'm not a regular mom. I'm a cool mom.'”, he winked back.
Jason rolled his eyes, but was now grinning openly. He tousled Eddie's curls. “These things are only supposed to be on for ten minutes.”, he mumbled, tapping the gel pads under Eddie's eyes.
He just smiled and wiped them off his face as he walked to the bathroom. “You should try them too. Or we could go to mani-pedi together.”
“I'll pass.”
“You won't become an omie house wifey because you try it. I promise.”
Jason rolled his eyes. “I just don't want anything on my nails.”
“They do only grooming, too.”
“Then let's have a spa weekend or something.”
Eddie looked euphorically around the corner again. This time he was spreading some kind of serum on his skin. “You'd still take a bubble bath with your old wrinkled alpha?”
“You're 47, don't be such a drama queen. And with the amount of aloe vera on your skin, there's no room for a single wrinkle left.” He pushed his glasses back up his nose. “I'm the one with reading glasses here.” He looked at his sudoku again. He felt the mattress sink down next to him.
“And it's really hot. Do you still have the librarian outfit?”
“That was a one-off for your birthday.”
“I can also work without it.” He kissed Jason's neck. Let his lips feel the scratch of the stubble there.
“Stop! They could hear us.”
“Oh, I think they're busy enough with themselves. And you know at twenty, you're not done that quickly.” He ran his hand under his husband's shirt. The stretch marks from the pregnancy had faded only a bit even after all this time. But his husband, always the sportsman, had always kept himself in good shape with iron discipline over the years.
“But keep it down.”, Jason murmured, unable to avoid his body reacting to the caresses.
Eddie laughed. “Dirty talk has always been your strong suit.”
“Shut up.”
Eddie grinned and captured his mouth.
Tumblr media
Axel sat exhausted at the breakfast table. His eyes kept wanting to fall shut. Jason was emphatically indifferent and only hit his husband on the head once with the newspaper, when he started to speak.
They all looked up, when (Y/n) came to them, fresh as the morning dew.
“Good morning,” she smiled.
“Morning good-a-day... Hi.” Axel finally mumbled into his bread roll.
Eddie bit his lip to keep from laughing. Even Jason smirked slightly behind his newspaper.
They ate. Axels mind slowly arrived among the living and Jason even chatted with (Y/n) about her studies.
“Are you coming to church with me tomorrow?”, Jason asked as indifferently as he could.
Axel looked up from his coffee. “You still want to take me with you?” he asked with a joking undertone, but you could see the uncertainty in his eyes.
Jason put down his newspaper and reached for his son's hand. “I'll always take you with me. No matter what.”
Axel quickly blinked away a few tears. “Okay. Sure.”

Spidersona universe lore
This is for my own benefit of cataloguing things on here as well as by request from @rebootgrimm who was asking about things the other day.
I've written Acid Spider's story twice and deleted both documents but some things have carried over each time so I'm just gonna ramble under the cut about the main gang plus some random side details! So uh apologies for the word vomit below
Warnings: Mentions of disease and death
Charlie Felicity Parker / Acid Spider
AFAB, gender fluid, panromantic, acespec
Grew up with their dad, Peter Parker, who was murdered when they were eleven so for their teen years they moved from the UK to the US to stay with Aunt May and Uncle Ben
Otto Octavius and J Jonah Jameson are their godfathers (yeah, Peter was actually buddies with Jameson in this universe)
They always end up having some tension with Deadpool and Daredevil
They've known Felix since they were little but don't know they're twins
They had a brief crush on Harley but got over that after gaining their super hero powers
They chose the name Acid Spider and their suit's colour palette as an ode to the spider that bit them (it was green and black)
They got bitten by a spider at a Stark Expo trip they went on for university
Their middle name was named after their mother
Fluently speaks spanish because their mother was spanish and they wanted to feel closer to her even they never met her
Finds it easier to be how they are when they're Acid Spider
Felix Benjamin Hardy / Black Cat
AMAB, cisgender, gay
CEO of The Hardy Foundation
Didn't see his mother (Felicia Hardy) much as a child due to her being in jail for international thievery
Is best friends with Charlie
His middle name was named after his father and his first name was named after his mother
He took super soldier serum from his mother so he could be more able to stop Charlie from getting into trouble
Was dating MJ but they broke things off after MJ received the Venom symbiote
Got really annoyed at Charlie when they modelled his super suit after Chat Noir but couldn't stay mad for long
Fluently speaks spanish because his mother was spanish
Michael-Johnathan "MJ" Watson
AFAB, transgender, bisexual
Was part of the Widow training program as a child
Never knew his parents but Natasha sort of adopted him after breaking him out of the Widow training facility
Dated Felix for a while before they split up due to Venom
Was kind of pissed when he first received Venom but they learnt how to work together
Will fuck your shit up between the Symbiote and his Widow training
Works alongside the Avengers as a secret operative
Harley Osborn
AFAB, cishet
Her father (Harry Osborn) died when she was little due to a genetic disease in their family, and she was left to be raised by her grandfather, Norman Osborn
Norman's goblin side forced her to take the goblin serum to keep her alive when her own disease got worse
Was the first to know that MJ was working for the Avengers
COO of Osborn Industries
Loves doing tech designs but isn't great at social interactions
Miscellaneous
Mysterio and Chameleon are evil lesbians
Chameleon is a Hydra super soldier and worked alongside The Winter Soldier
Gwen Stacey is a Sorcerer Supreme and is married to Loki (who is ruler of Asgard), and no, I don't remember why my brain decided on this but it stuck
Tony Stark and Stephen Strange are married
Stephanie Rogers (yeah, I wanted a fem cap) and Bucky Barnes are dating
Felicia Hardy is albino
Otto and Norman had a fling and so did Peter and Harry, but due to Harley being straight that trend did not continue a third generation (and yes, this is something Otto and Norman argue about TO THIS DAY)
There's an alternate timeline as to things that happen after Charlie finds out who killed Peter and it's way darker... (But if you wanna know about it I'm happy to tell)
Anyway I'm also thinking of rewriting this story for a third time and maybe actually posting it depending on the quality but I also have loads of WIPs right now so who knows
