There's a part of me that's still back there. It's been there ever since. Maybe it'll never leave. It doesn't invade my conscious mind as much anymore but that doesn't mean I don't still exist in that time, in that fucking apartment, being hurt forever. I don't have constant flashbacks and nightmares but that piece of me hasn't escaped and existing there is still sucking up so much of my energy. I've learned to ignore it but ignoring it doesn't make it go away. It's being pulled out of me like an endless thread, tearing up my insides as it gets tighter. Its so fucking bullshit that we are into our like our 4th day without power to our apartment and NO ONE was answering our calls after that Friday morning. Our food in our fridge is spoiled, we're rationing each thing all 5 of us do with one single cable of electricity all day and my dads on fucking hospice care and can't freely move his hospital bed without help. I overheard his phone call that finally went through JUST NOW and someones claiming that the maintenance dude NEVER told ANYBODY about us. My dad thinks they're all just blaming eachother and he threatened to sue and suddenly he gets calls back about fixing the issue jesus christ.

i’ve been going in circles about whether i have avpd or it’s just c-ptsd / just autism / something else Again but uhhh this line of thinking also led to me realising that one of my earliest memories is of being four years old and trying to get around admitting to a concerned parent that no i once again had not made any new friends or even tried to... which is also something i did like. last week 🙃
