Many Ghazzawis on Twitter are now reporting that the markets in Gaza are filled with lots of food again, even food that hasn’t been available in months, alhamdulilah. Political pressure works! Now it’s up to us to keep donating to fundraisers so they’re able to afford food. If you see a stagnant fundraiser, even $5 can help a lot. If you can’t donate, share it and engage with it as much as you can.

To those who care about the Gaza Strip and its people...

To anyone who thinks that no Palestinian lives have been saved... I don't think that's true. For example, think about the massive amount of fundraising campaigns that have tangibly helped, even with the aid embargo in Israel, that have tangibly helped Palestinians. We've gained support as a result of this activity. So, to say, "No Palestinian lives have been saved," again, that's not true. That's not true.

But secondly, even if that were true, would you blame yourself and the people for not standing up for you and for not speaking out against things that were already wrong because they weren't effective enough, instead of just offering better ways to do it? Should something be done or not?

I'm watching my friend slowly die and I don't know what to do. Starvation, tumors, and depression are eating away at him while he has nothing to eat.

I don't know what to say to make people donate. I'm begging you to donate anything you can to Anas. Any treat you can go without or any extra cash to spare. Ask people to donate. If that's embarrassing to you please know it's infinitely more embarrassing to him. Please.

i still haven’t had any other interviews or calls back about jobs i’ve applied for and im disqualified for unemployment (plus i got a letter in the mail from them saying i must pay them back $10,000! they are insane). i dread doing this especially considering this website has a dwindling userbase, everybody is cf on here, and we passing back the same $20-$30 to each other. its a long shot to get out of debt and back on my feet, but i have to try and utilize the platforms available to me.

i anticipate not being able to pay my rent even if i do get hired this month because my first check would take weeks for me to get it after onboarding, so i will be needing help with my rent & bills for June.

im writing this post actually on the way to a job interview for a position that would pay me enough to sustain myself if im chosen for it, so please share this, don*te, & wish me luck!

i swear i have a hedgehog claudia sketch that i did when i was drawing this but i spent 15 minutes scouring my files and backup log and it looks like i've accidentally deleted it ToT so i tried to redraw that sketch to the best of my memory

i need you to understand something, right? me and a small group of people have been supporting ammar for months. he's just a baby we watched grow up. and you know? babies are supposed to gain weight over the months. he hasn't. it's horrible. the recent crisis with his medication? when i wrote that post i was in such a state of despair because i was convinced this infant i had watched and supported at great personal expense over several months would die. samah has lost hope for treating her own medical conditions - she's not fully healthy either - but she can't raise the money. people have NEVER donated consistently. me and a few others are at the end of our ropes having depleted ourselves trying to make up for what crowdfunding hasn't done. and i'm so overwhelmingly grateful to everyone who proved me wrong and got ammar's medicine.

can you help him again?

ammar needs milk too. it's not possible to get in gaza at a reasonable rate. it's $468 per carton and he needs 4 per week, for $1872.

if ammar doesn't get milk, he will die.
