Musharna Malice! Someone else's nightmare. Or, rather, memory.

You feel yourself let out a scream as your fathers, or so they called themselves, carve into your back. You were small and frail, just 8 years old, and about to be used to summon the Warring Beasts of Hoenn. Both of them, at the same time.

"Ophelia. Stop struggling," the more stubborn of your fathers commanded as the knife slowly carved a sigil.

Once it was done, you heard a roar. And then another. You braced yourself for your incoming death...

...But it never came.

Instead, the Warring Beasts were doing what they did best--warring. The Warring Beast of the Sea was drowning your dad's grunts in an attempt to best the Warring Beast of the Land, and the Warring Beast of the Land was burning your father's grunts alive from the sheer heat.

You and your fathers were caught in the middle, the safe ground, the only area that wasn't instant death.

The screams were unbearable, and, mixed with the searing pain in your back, you start to sob.

There's no end to it until you jolt awake.

This is short and badly written because of my major burnout, but here’s your semi-monthly Rei angst

CW for panic attacks, burning alive. (Lemme know if i need more cws)

She could still feel the bright orange and yellow dancing around her, burning away the hairs that had rested on her arms.

Out, out, out, out, out, in, out.

Rei could still hear the sparks popping and the kidnapped victims screaming.

Out, in, out, in, in, in.

She could feel the unbearable heat reach her face.

It was approaching rapidly.

She could feel her hair heating up and beginning to burn.

In, in, in, in, out, out, out. 

"Stop!" She cried out, begging for mercy. Tears streamed down her face.

A familiar hand was placed on her shoulder, reminding her that she was no longer there. No longer burning. She was safe, she was fine. Just a few burns that would heal over time.

"Miss Mekaru?" Keisuke Iranami asked, rubbing her shoulder somewhat comfortingly. "You're crying. Are you alright?" 

Rei creased her lips. "I... it burns." was all she could say, before she fell to her knees and letting every single unshed tear out.

I was thinking about how Gouge is supposed to deal with people who are yelling about JR Being bad

And how she likes to torment them since Delusion wants them dead anyways

And how she needs to make sure their remains won’t be identified

There are three, non-DNA-related ways I know of to identify a person.

1. Face (obviously)

2. Fingerprints

3. Teeth; specifically dental records.

…All of those could be involved in her torment.

Burning off all of their fingerprints.

Pulling their teeth out one by one.

Cutting their face up so horribly that they’re entirely unrecognizable.

And DNA identification can be solved by simply destroying all of the soft tissues. Acid or fire are the main ones I can think of, and both would be a slow, painful death.

She probably does other stuff, too, if she thinks she has the time. But always at least the tooth pulling, and most likely the fingerprint burning, even if she’s already planned to dissolve them in acid or burn them alive. Facial mutilation is more iffy, because the degree to which she’ll have to do it will probably cause fatal blood loss. If she wants them to die another way, she won’t bother.

Whenever he thinks about Roach, which is a lot. Ghost feels himself burning in that pit once again, crawling out, rolling on the ground in pain to put the flames out. Pain fueled tears downing his eyes.

He remembers looking at Roach’s burning body, yelling at him to get up, get out, roll. He remembers the sounds of Roach’s equipment cracking.

Whenever he thinks about Roach, which is a lot. Soap remembers screaming into his transmitter. Yelling them not to trust Shepherd, his heart squeezing, head pounding from the stress. The doom feeling.

All confirming when Price says ‘They are dead.’

How it felt like a ton of ice water just got dumped over him.

Then, he remembers how it felt when he got the information about Ghost being alive and rescued. He was happy, oh so happy. But, what about Roach ? What happened to him ?

Then, another question comes in. If he is not there, where was his body ?

Ghost remembers passing out, looking at Roach’s burning body. He remembers waking up in a hospital, not able to talk about what happened.

But nonetheless, he was shocked to learn Roach’s body was missing.

They didn’t dwell on it, they couldn’t. They wanted to grieve, they needed time. They couldn’t stress over it yet.

They got a tombstone made for him, left flowers there. Both added Roach’s dogtag next to their own. And shut up about it. Grieving in silence.

Roach, remembers waking up. In pain, oh so much pain. Tears rolling down his eyes, dripping on the bed he’s laying on. Looking around in pain filled panic, trying to figure out where he is, where is Ghost.

Then he hears the door cracking open, getting eye to eye with Makarov.

You know, it's somehow... It would have been interesting if Richy is still be alive. I mean, we all know about the story of the man without a face and his real face and why he wore the mask, because of his appearance. So, and after the fire... You know, Richy would 'fit' it even more. Having burned skin etc. It would be, for the drama, another crazy thing. He acted as the mwaf and in the end he really became him.
