♥️Reveling in Richonne - TOWL

#14: The Magnetic Reunion (1.02)

First of all: 🎉💛🔥🥂😍🎉🔥🥂😭🎉💛🔥🥳

I’ve said it for years and it gets proven true at every turn - Rick and Michonne are magnets. 🧲

So I have half a mind to believe that part of why that helicopter came tumbling down was because it got caught in the intense magnetic force of Richonne. 😋 There was no way Rick and Michonne could be in the same atmosphere like that and not ultimately end up in each other's arms. I don’t care if Rick was thousands of feet in the sky, those magnets within these soulmates were going to send him crashing right down to Michonne. And that's exactly what happens in the continuation of this scene the world had been waiting for - Richonne's epic reunion 🙌🏽🥹...

So first Michonne and Nat are walking through the woods and headed home to ASZ. It's poetic that Nat helped Michonne see it's not giving up if she goes home, and then sure enough because she was willing to head home that puts her in the very position to find the man she's been looking for.

As they walk, Michonne is trying to reach Judith on the walkie-talkie and is clearly very eager to get home to her kids. I love that Nat again is so supportive as he assures her they’ll get in closer range to reach her babies soon...But then a helicopter can be heard ahead, piloted by Michonne's other baby lol. 😋 Love is truly in the air, y'all. 🙌🏽

Nat stops Michonne as they look up and see, “It’s them.”

Michonne looks ready to warning pop a whole helicopter as Nat says to grab the cart because they gotta go. Michonne “Never Run From The Fight,” Grimes says, “I’m not running from them, Nat” and Nat is on the same wavelength as he says, “Neither am I. Let’s go.”

I love how Nat’s like 'honey, we gotta know when to go, and now is the time to go ham against the group that killed our friends and forced us to put life on pause for a year.'

Michonne is ready too as she takes out a walker and helps Nat set up the scream sticks.

Nat says the helicopter is flying super low - and that’s because that magnetic field is already doing its work to bring Richonne closer together. Amen. 😇

Nat fires the missile and I love seeing the final moment from ep 1 through Michonne and Nat’s lens. Nat thinks the first shot was a dud…but it most certainly was not. Ask Okafor lol. 😅 Nat’s aim is really spot-on as he fires more shots at the helicopter and it crashes.

Soldiers in black finally emerge on the ground and run amid the fiery scene as Nat continues to fire. And it’s crazy knowing Richonne is finally in the same vicinity after so many years.

The soldiers shoot at Michonne and Nat who duck out of the way. And then even despite seeing these masked men with guns, Michonne is basically like 'I can handle eight' and tells Nat, “I got them unless you get them first.”

She runs into the line of fire to take these soldiers out one by one.  And as she runs, Michonne is hit with a collection of memories that have led her to this point. We hear her tell Aiden, “You should go” and Aiden says, “We will. After you find Rick.” The warmth of that moment is quickly cut with Michonne having to take out Walker Aiden.

Then we hear Michonne say, “You’re pregnant.” over a clip of soldiers running. I like how one of those soldiers is Rick - cuz he’s the one who got Michonne pregnant, and that's something she’ll finally be able to tell him now. 

Nat knocks the soldiers to the ground as Michonne recalls taking out Bailey and then she gets vengeance for her friends as she slices CRM soldiers' necks and looks at them with crazy eyes as she says “Look at me.” I know that was a terrifying way to go out for these soldiers. 😅 Also, I love how Michonne is the character with the soundest head on her shoulders but also has a side of her that can get real crazy. 🤭

Then Nat's voiceover says, “You can believe a little longer and still go home to your kids” as my heart just melts into a puddle seeing clips of Judith and RJ. 🥹 Her kids are the cutest thing and I know as Michonne is slicing these soldiers she’s thinking about how they took time away from her kids which is an unforgivable sin. 

And then the final beat is Rick saying, “You can lose me” as we see a clip of Rick smiling at Michonne during their proposal dinner in Say Yes. I love how as she’s unknowingly fighting Rick in this forest she is also thinking about him as the final image in her mind because Rick is one of the biggest reasons why she fights.

They end the memory sequence with Rick saying "You can lose me" to really emphasize what’s about to happen next. Because next, she gets confirmation that while she can and did lose Rick she can also find him again no matter how long he's been lost. 🙌🏽

And find him she most certainly does as she knocks off his helmet and immediately realizes the man in black is the love of her life. 🤩

Ok, I don’t even know how I’m going to put all this into words because I love this Richonne reunion with everything in me.

Let's start with the real snow that started falling during this scene. 😍 Y’all, even Mother Nature is a Richonner and she wanted to add some extra razzle dazzle to this epic reunion because she knew it was important.

The snow naturally being a part of this moment was beautiful. Then the fact that Rick and Michonne find each other just as they both were going to 'give up' for good is poetic. Again, the universe is a Richonner and said not on my watch, I’m getting you two together even if it takes several explosions to do so. 😌

Rick and Michonne are both silently breathing and staring at each other like we saw in ep 1 and you can tell this moment is such an understandable shock to both of them. Like before you can even see joy on their faces there’s just pure “is this really happening??” shock on their faces. And it makes sense because of all the scenarios they’ve probably pictured reuniting in, they likely never imagined it’d be like this.

Their faces and breathing really capture how wild this is for them to be so abruptly brought back into each other's lives after years of longing for each other.

Then Michonne immediately removes her mask and drops her sword and I view this as such a meaningful movement because it feels like for the first time in almost eight years she can let her guard down with the one man who makes her feel most secure. Like she completely disarms and is the vulnerable Michonne she used to be when Rick was around. 

And then the way Rick rises to his knees and his face just quickly softens as he realizes she’s really here. After all the dreaming, the yearning, the aching for her presence - here she stands. 🥹 (And my extra self likes how as he gets up there’s a brief moment where he’s on one knee and it just feels like his body is already in proposal mode lol.)

Then I absolutely adore the way Rick gets up with his hand out reaching for her. It feels so tender like even despite all the chaos he’s just experienced, his first priority is that Michonne is okay. And the way he goes to her and she extends her hands out to him - those magnets are still as strong as ever. 🧲😊

And I love that before they embrace they have this moment of Michonne holding Rick’s face in her hands as they both take each other in and are so emotional. The tears in their eyes as they feel each other's touch for the first time in years is just so extremely moving. 😭

This was such a big highly anticipated moment and from the very first second of it, I just knew they were going to deliver and that the magic of Richonne on screen together is still as captivating and electrifying as it’s always been. 🔥

Michonne smiles, eyes filled with tears, as she holds Rick's face and looks into his eyes so glad that he’s actually alive. And then Rick cries and leans into her touch truly feeling tender touch for the first time in almost 8 years. Like whenever I’d see Michonne lovingly touch Rick throughout TOWL I’d always be reminded that this is his first time experiencing this type of warmth in so so long. 😭

It’s interesting how Michonne has a teary smile whereas Rick has this blend of happiness and pain on his face. He’s been living like he’s dead for a very long time and, as I’ve said previously, when you decide to die but live you turn off the switch in you that can feel emotions both the painful and even the happy ones. But Michonne can always bring life back to Rick so you can just see this layered expression as Rick feels so much emotion come rushing back to him.

It’s almost like it’s foreign for him to let this emotion out now, but he makes these heartwarming quiet crying noises that show that whatever feelings are stirring inside him can’t help but seep out.

When Michonne lovingly holds his face in her hands, Rick dips his head tentatively wanting to hug her but also potentially hesitant if she’d want to hug him after seeing him in the same uniform as the people she was attacking. But then of course Michonne pulls him in so warmly as his soul just seems to be crying into her shoulder.

I think about how when he was on the bridge in his final ep he imagined Michonne holding his face in her hands and giving him the strength to go on and now here she is years later able to do that for real. It moves me to no end. 🥹

And then they have their long-awaited first embrace as Michonne lets out palpable emotion joyously declaring, “I found you!”  😭😭🎉

The way Rick tucks himself into her shoulder as he closes his eyes and embraces her and the way Michonne almost gasps for air and says “oh god” in shock and awe that she really did find him. That all those years feeling him out there and believing he’s alive were correct. The belief she had paid off and now here he is - alive and finer than he’s ever been. It’s everything. 🙌🏽

And now I was very curious what Richonne's first words to each other would be after all these years. And to me, they chose the perfect thing for both of them with Michonne saying 'I found you" and then with what Rick first says.

Still in the hug, Rick quietly asks, “Judith - is she - is she alive?” Y'all, I love this so much. 🥹 Rick is a family man through and through and I gotta break down why I appreciate this as the first thing Rick says.

One; that’s his baby girl and as a parent you know it had to be so extremely painful to not know if Judith is okay let alone even alive. I really did get the sense from TOWL ep 1 that Judith is an extremely sensitive topic for Rick since not knowing her fate is just an unbearable pain. So I love that the second Rick gets to ask his wife for confirmation about if their daughter is alive it’s the first thing he wants to know.

(Side note: this also makes me loathe Jadis even more because she was all looking forward to her annual meetups with Father Gabriel while Rick didn’t even get to know the status of his wife and daughter. 😤 The least that evil woman could have done was confirm to Rick that they were alive but no, he’s had to go years just trying to believe they were still out there.)

Two; It’s so true to the character of Rick Grimes to ask about his kids first because he did that so often in the main show. There’s so many times when his first question was about his kids and so this was very fitting. Times that come to mind is when Michonne killed the Governor and Rick’s first question is where’s Carl. When he finds Carl after the prison he wants to know where Judith is. In ASZ he loses sight of the kids and immediately goes running after them. And when he arrives back to ASZ in s8 he wants to know where the kids are. His kids are always a priority so I love that this is the first thing he wants to know.

Three; I love that after nearly dying himself on this day his concern is immediately on whether his baby girl is okay. He never stopped having a father's love for Judith and that was so evident. Four; it showed that his wife and daughter really are his choice because those are the two he most wants to check on. Five; the way he says it is so vulnerable. Because think about it, he basically has to brace for the answer to potentially be “no she’s not alive” but he has to know. It’s been too painful to go all these years not knowing. 

And then it is just beautiful the way Michonne smiles and reassures Rick that their daughter is okay. She completely understands why this would be his first question and she loves him for it.

She takes Rick’s face in her hands as she smiles and tells him, “She’s okay” and the way Rick repeats with just overwhelming relief, “She’s okay” makes me teary every time. Every single time. 🥺

In this moment you just see the dad who loves his daughter so much and who loves Michonne so much, especially knowing Judith is okay because of Michonne. I love how he repeats the words and believes them and it’s just said so softly and movingly as something he’s been dying to know for years - dying to know his daughter is okay. 🥲

Also, It’s wild how this incredible Richonne journey went from Rick (lying) telling Michonne that if she didn’t have that formula for Judith he wouldn’t have taken her in to now Rick having to ask Michonne as Judith’s mother how their daughter is doing. 😭

The way Michonne smiles as she answers just feels like she's so happy to be able to assure Rick baby, I got her, all these years I’ve held her, protected her, raised her, and our daughter is okay. Seeing Michonne be such an elated mom and wife in this moment warms my heart. And I love that not only is Judith alive, she’s Michonne's mini-me.

Michonne repeats with a smile, “She’s okay, Rick, yeah.” Hearing her say his name is music to my ears. And I love that she says Judith is okay even tho she had to go a year away from their baby girl. She’s choosing to only entertain a scenario where Judith is okay. 

This was such a wonderful mom-and-dad moment. I love that their first exchange of dialogue is about their daughter. 🥲

What’s so great about Richonne’s initial reunion is that it really felt like they just picked up where they left off in a lot of ways. And the way Richonne so visibly cherished being parents to Judith in s9 it is so beautiful to see them now talk about her again years later as her mom and dad.

Judith is so loved by her parents and I love to see it. And for Michonne it has to mean so much that she now gets to talk about her daughter with the person who loves her just as much as she does - Judith’s dad. 🥹

Then Rick sways back and forth and looks down appearing to feel a sense of shame for being in that CRM gear as he tries to utter out words. Michonne watches him and lovingly places her hand on his face before he gets the words out. Rick is her baby for real because she’s just so comforting as she senses everything he’s feeling. 😭

Rick tells Michonne, “I’m not - I’m not with them.” I love that he really does mean that in this moment. Despite piloting the helicopter that just crashed, telling Okafor he’s in, and giving orders to those soldiers, once Rick sees Michonne all of that is out the window and he’s not with them and knows nothing about that CRM lifestyle or whatever they got going on because that's not him. 😇👌🏽

You know Rick felt it important to clarify this because he can tell Michonne has beef with the CRM and he’s like I want you to know this is not the clique I claim so you don’t have to have beef with me. Part of why he can say 'I’m not with them' is because his heart has always been with her. In its own way this is him letting her know 'I know what it looks like but trust me I’m still yours, not theirs.'

He says it so vulnerably, almost nervous about what Michonne will think. But Michonne is Rick's soulmate and she knows where his heart really lies so she says assuredly with a tear down her face, “I know.” I love that response. 😭

It reminds me of the great scene in TWD 4.16 when Rick tells her he’s okay and she says “I know.” In that s4 scene, Rick asks “how” Michonne knows he's okay and Michonne shows an awareness of how interconnected they are when she says “cuz I’m okay too.”

And from there, their interconnectedness only grew stronger and more evident as the seasons progressed to the point that now in TOWL, Rick doesn’t even have to ask how Michonne knows he’s not with the CRM. He knows how she knows - because they’re still one like that. They still deeply and intrinsically know each other with no explanations needed. True soulmates. 👌🏽

And receiving that immediate belief has to mean so much to him. She really is just like the Michonne in his dreams, believing in him no matter what. 

So now that he’s got two important things covered - confirming Judith is alive and confirming he doesn't have an allegiance to these CRM people Michonne has beef with - Rick is ready to give all his focus to Michonne and more intently greet his wife as he leans in for a kiss that makes my top 2 Richonne kisses of all time. 🤩

Y’all, this kiss is everything, and they more than delivered with Richonne’s first real kiss in years. 🔥🙌🏽

This kiss captures everything Richonne feels about each other. It was eager and certain and passionate and sensual and organic and utterly fitting for an epic love story.

I remember my heart just soaring when first seeing this moment and my heart still melts over it now. Like the lighting was perfect, the framing, the way their eyes hardly flutter because they’re so locked in and present at this moment together. I mean they communicated the love they have for each other loud and clear with these excellent 7 kisses.

The way they kiss each other…no one was ever going to come along and compete or compare in their life because Rick and Michonne be kissing each other's soul.

Their passion for each other is simply unrivaled. ❤️‍🔥 And it's perfect that this is the level of passion and intense love that they express to each other in the very first few minutes of their reunion. Like they don't have to build up to this type of kiss or hesitate, wondering if the other still loves them the same - they're just immediately on the same wavelength and showing loud and clear that they are still utterly in love with each other.

I love the way Rick leans in almost like he’s still dreaming and the way Michonne smiles that her fine man who has only got finer is clearly still so in love with her like she’s in love with him. She went from wrapping herself in his shirts to being swallowed up by the man himself. Love that for her. 😋

I also adore how steady and locked in Rick is during their first kiss even despite having gone through so much craziness just seconds before. It’s yet another illustrator of the way Michonne calms and centers him.

And the way Michonne wraps her arms around him after the first kiss and they just literally kiss like their life depends on it and are as close as humanly possible. Their love is as alive as ever. 🥰

It’s so clear that Richonne really gets fully immersed in their love story and it’s the BEST. They have moments, especially in kisses, where they just feel like they are so present in the fact that they found their one true love.

And Rick and Michonne were living their best fairytale life with this moment in the woods after waiting so long and reserving their heart for each other alone. This is the only person they ever want to kiss like this and now they get to. 🙌🏽

It's great how they didn't even have to pause for one second to wonder if the other had moved on. Just from looking into each other's eyes, they innately knew that they were still in love like they never left.

There honestly aren’t enough words to describe how much I love this kiss so I’ll just say - tens across the board. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😍

So then they return to embracing each other after that kiss of life as Michonne smiles and Rick continues to cry on her shoulder.

TOWL made it very clear that Richonne’s kisses are communication and you know ‘I love you and I’ve never stopped loving you’ was conveyed crystal clear from them both.

Hearing them both take the biggest breaths and cry as they hug because for the first time in eight years, they have that missing part of their heart back. 😭 They’re slowly but surely becoming more whole again just by being in each other's presence. I’ve said it before - in each other's arms is where they’re most meant to be.

Michonne keeps her hands on Rick’s face as she pushes his hair back and just takes this all in, marveling that he’s alive and has clearly been through a lot but is still standing. It’s so preciously tender.

Michonne is so caring to all but you know there are three people alive who Michonne feels most called to be nurturing to and it’s her babies and her husband and you can just see that in this moment as she offers him the warmth and comfort he so deeply needs.

And Rick again leans into her touch and just seems so overcome with emotion. I love that we can see him place a hand on her shoulder as he too lets it sink in that the love of his life really did find her way back to him. 

After likely only envisioning scenarios where he’d have to make it back to her, Rick is reminded that he and his wife are truly cut from the same cloth so of course Michonne was working on getting back to him as well.

Y’all, this moment was everything I could have wanted from Richonne’s reunion scene. Flawless. 💯👑 And I love that they got a chance to really let this part of the reunion breathe as Richonne allowed the two of them to be the only thing going on in the world for a moment. Like the way they were so focused on loving on each other in this moment is super special.

You’d never guess that Rick had just seen Okafor explode and got into a helicopter crash. You’d never guess Michonne was just slicing throats a second ago. In this moment all they were was each others. Time froze and Richonne’s love was able to fill the screen and be the center of everything, and I love to see it.

However, if there’s one thing the world loves to do it’s scream at Richonne and so after this gorgeous moment of joy we’re yanked right back into the drama and high stakes as the CRM is about to put a major damper on things. And you know we gotta break it down.

But just like Richonne let this initial reunion breathe and have its moment, that’s what I want to do with this post and just live in it for a moment as a gorgeous and euphoric reunion between the best soulmates on television and between two undeniable magnets. 🧲

This gorgeous and epic Richonne reunion was entirely worth the wait. 🥹👌🏽

Behind The Track ... Paranoia ♪

🔓 Unlocked

‥ Himari has spoken on mental health struggles in the solo release 'Shadow', yet this track focuses on personifying the disorder in order to truly demonstrate the extent to which she fought to stay alive during this time

‥ It was written in English due to its foreign nature, reflecting how none of these emotions experienced through her depression felt natural, as well as how direct certain words are compared to Korean

‥ The lengthy instrumental at the end is the representation of chaos slowly turning into peace, moving from an electric guitar (Apollo) to softer strings supported by vocals - the movement of her soul from Hell to Heaven, from struggle to healing

‥ 'AM 4:44' was originally supposed to serve as the title track but as it dives so deeply into her mental state that she chose to set it as a B-Side due to its extremely heavy nature. 'Paranoia' is also the only vocal track in the EP so she felt like this was a better representation of who she is - because of her position in the group

‥ 'but I know you, wanna leave me in the tomb'

Himari was relentlessly attempting to claw her way out of the depression no matter how tiring the fight became, yet the disorder felt like another separate entity, a shadow, that was pushing back against this desperate determination

‥ 'reminiscing time that we drained, saw you glancing out, wanna keep you chained'

While she was struggling, the maknae was spending a lot of time meaninglessly in an attempt to distract herself, to drain the non-working hours left in a day that she knew would be torturous either way. Most of this time felt as though she was glancing out of a window, living as a secondary person in her own body, trapped by the shadow that overtook her mind

‥ 'feed my paranoia cuz you're stuck in my head'

Paranoid Personality Disorder is when someone constantly feels mistrust towards others and irrationally fear they will be deceived, taken advantage of or even harmed, which her mental struggles were making her believe at the time, especially when it came to 'fans'. The shadow is in fact not saying that its head is filled with no other thoughts than Himari, but rather gloating about the fact that she is trapped inside of its 'mind'.

‥ 'feeling narcissistic and you're keeping me fed'

Narcissistic personality traits include; Lack of empathy, Exploitation behaviors and Preoccupations with fantasies of success. While the lyrics do not refer to narcissism in its exactness, the word is used to personify the image that was being projected by the shadow in the young woman's mind. It had no empathy for her struggle, found her deepest fears & weaknesses just to exploit them and the fighting only made her more desperate for success in hopes that it would solve everything - which only sustained her depression.

‥ 'wanna keep you tied to the anger i dread'

There were many times were the maknae felt pure anger towards this situation, towards the world, and this gave her more strength to fight - but with the depression being personified it fears this emotion. It was actively attempting to keep her 'true' self at bay by directing the anger at none other than herself.

‥ 'call me selfish but i'm doing what's right for my love'

This is the only lyric through which the true Himari speaks, explaining to she shadow why she is trying to hard to stay alive - for every single person reaching their hands into this abyss to pull her out.

‥ 'call me greedy but i'm insecure of what could come'

The shadow was constantly trying to take over more parts of her mind each time as it 'knows' that after what happened with her older brother, she will never stop fighting and will only chip away at it more with every desperate tear at its cage.

‥ 'there's nothing amiss, i wanna keep you safe, in the dark abyss, locked away'

These deceptive whispers are attempting to convince her that this mental state serves as protection against the harshness of idol life at the time, that being in this abyss filled with nothing more than despair is better than living in the outside world. It is trying to get her to give up the fight, to completely lose her original self and give way to whatever shell it was creating.

‥ 'keep you hostage in my brain'

It was not actually the shadow's 'brain' that the maknae was locked inside of, but rather her own that has been taken over by this seemingly endless depression, serving as a hostage until it got what it wanted - to escape by taking her life.

‥ 'winding me up, making me insane'

This represents the shadow's ever growing frustration at the fact that she simply refuses to give up no matter how many times she is beaten back down, serving as the final personified representation of her Depressive Disorder - illustrating the fact that it felt like an actual fight to Himari.

IWTV Ep3 Musings - Claudia & Louis (Spoilers)

I'm still teary & choked up while typing this. SUPER emotional episode. It's incredible how much they packed into one ep, too! But the second half of the ep was BY FAR the most emotionally impactful IMO. Jacob's acting is just WAY too good; he had me choking up something fierce.

Louis taking pictures of his food for no effing reason like all the social media girlies do; I love it.

Louis STILL tryna be Claudia's knight in vengeful black. U_U But just like before when he tried to save her from Lestat, he can't save her from Bruce or the Theatre or even his own eff-ups. DANG. 😔

YES YOU DO. If you wanna keep pestering her about trauma she doesn't want to think/speak about, then be prepared for the consequences.

AMC, you GOTTA kill Bruce on-screen for us, either in QotD during all the Burnings, or during the PL trilogy (Killer's death was GNARLY).

this isn't even an original hc, but it's a narrative that im choosing to believe n abide by cuz it feels so (W)RIGHT! from what i remember, dating way wayyyy back to "spencer spooks", hugh was apparently a rockstar pre- and post- the family move. since theres no indication that hugh has associated w this lifestyle in dtmg, i decided to settle for a little twist that i think exists in another spencer property. that being he's a former rocker, now retired. pretty much, he left that whole situation behind him, turning over a new leaf n all that- opting to take on the responsibility of being a proper father to his kid (kids* later on) than pursuing a now dead dream. besides, there are other creative outlets to explore, and he, for one, loves to tinker around w things!

there's this episode that mentions how he was a former cheerleading coach. we had no context for this prior to this episode, but i don't necessarily want to ignore that (even if it WAS just mentioned for the sake of one episode). i figure that the whole cheerleading bit also happened while jane was pregnant - a profession more stable in terms of income, but not quite. getting a degree in accounting was that last resort. that, and i also just REALLY REALLY like the idea of "gravity's rainbow" being a stunt that had originated from his past performances. IM TAKING IN HUGH LORE A LITTLE TOO SERIOUSLY HE SAID SMTH ABT MOVING BACK TO COW COUNTRY BRUH WHAT HAVENT YOU DONE BYE

jane was also a rockstar in the show's prior concepts i think, but uhhh i highkey fw the idea that jane was hugh's former groupie turned hairstylist. they fell in love, obvi, and rather than forego her hobby, she just stuck true and blue with it n ultimately decided to make that her career.

. hugh was an underground hard rocker w a few close friends as his bandmates - their bond now rendered a distant memory. he used to live life on the road, jamming from one open venue to another. he was the lead guitarist, certainly no jimi hendrix. anyone within earshot of his sound, n those w even an ounce of sense, could tell he was no disciplined guitarist. he loved to play, and when he played, he played LOUD w a voice to boot. he wrote songs occasionally, and they were pretty straightforward. his lyrics weren’t exactly “highbrow” either, far from it. they were mostly just about how he felt at that moment in time - very "youth rebellion" where either nothing mattered anymore or everything did. he wasn't all too concerned with selling those lyrics out, though. . hugh never really drew in much of a crowd with his music. it didnt warrant a complete audience, not exactly. maybe rounded up a few enjoyers here and there, but none of them were really any dedicated (save for a very enthusiastic red head who kept appearing at every one of his shows). as with his eccentric personality, he never much minded any of that. music for him was just a form of expression. sure, he dreamed big, but it was never about being signed into a label or appealing to people. moreover, he HATED labels and in concept, their controlling nature. . spencer and jessica are completely unaware of their father's past. hugh and jane didnt have a specific reason for not telling them about what they were up to way back when. i have it in mind that at some point, they'd probably mention it through some offhand comment w the excuse that "it just never came up!" . hugh never burned his songs into cds, or any tapes for that matter. a shame, now that his kids would rather much have their hands on audible proof rather than rambunctious nights captured in cheap little polaroids. he'd comment that it had never occurred to him at the time, but jane chimes in. she's got it all covered in a camcorder, stored who knows where, but as far as she knows it's definitely in their home somewhere. a search party montage later they find it, but they can hardly make out the static being recorded - yet another shame. he confesses he still has his guitar, something he could never bring himself to part ways with, and he's asked if he remembers the chords, lyrics - anything. he does, vaguely, but for his family, well, he figures he can come up with something on the spot. that's how he worked after all! (it's certainly something. music? debatable. jane falls in love all over again. as for the kids? opinions are mixed, but one thing is for sure: their dad is pretty cool. a certain ghost seems to agree.) . i hc that the rest of the wrights would eventually be introduced to billy proper. theyd b able to see him - the whole nine yards! i saw this little doodle of dirk n the old man, and im a SUCKER for these kinds of thingssss i dunnooo. im ALSO a sucker for the ppl around billy influencing him for the better, and i can totally see hugh playing a part in potentially inspiring billy to do just that in the hugh-est way possible. i picture them mindlessly jamming together freestyle; bonding over their shared love and appreciation for music not just as an outlet, but as an entity- to reconnect w it by any n every intrinsic means necessary. It's a long way's home from "perfect". composed solely on improv n zero structure, its disorderly at best, but it helps in breaking the habit of having to constantly perform for someone to performing for absolutely no one at all. a sound no one else will hear: an art for no one! its hardly ever that serious with these these two, and ykw that's okay! they get each other. they're on their own little wave-length :)

. before i call this post quits, there's this one scene that i like to perceive in a specific way. in axe maniac, there's this flashback - a christmas with the wright's and their little spence. one of the wrapped gifts is a guitar, and ik it may seem reasonable to believe that it was given to spencer on billy's behalf, but me personally, i like to think that the gift was from hugh !! as enthusiastic as he was to introduce spence to the world of music, his boy did not end up picking up after him. doesnt matter! it's not in hugh's nature to force this kind of thing onto him. he's always been supportive of spencer's hobbies no matter how peculiar, and if there's one thing that makes him happy and connected enough, it's their shared moments being captured through the lense of his son's camera <333

so i finally watched the devil's chord and i. AUGH!!!! UEUHGH!!!!!!! i watched space babies a couple days ago and it was good ofc but i felt like it was missing something but devil's chord was literally fucking PERFECT. it was scary and emotional and silly and weird all at the same time and i almost cried and i got so many goosebumps and i just AAHH!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE EP UNDER THE CUT. GIANT RANT. I AM AUTISM.

i already have a giant bias towards the episode cuz one of my longest interests has been music and instruments but oh my fucking GOD the way they talked about music and hearing classical songs that i knew almost sent me to tears IM NOT JOKING. ruby playing the piano was so awesome and hearing saint saen's danse macabre made me feel like i was going to ascend into the heavens. putting doctor who and classical music, two of my biggest interests, together, was the best thing imaginable. I LITERALLY CANT DESCRIBE HOW HAPPY THIS EPISODE MAKES ME.

SECONDLY, I LOVED MAESTRO. like the toymaker (who i also adore so SO incredibly much), they have this silly evilness to them that makes them so INTERESTING!!! and then finding out maestro is the child of the toymaker was EVERYTHING. BECAUSE IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE. jinkx monsoon, the person that plays maestro, says some stuff about them that explains why i love them so much. "When human rules don't apply to you, you get to do whatever you want. You don't have to worry about whether your emotions make sense to people because you don't have to answer to them." and "What I love about Maestro is that, while objectively evil, they are an artist, they have a mission statement. " THESE ARE THE EXACT REASONS I LOVE THE TOYMAKER AND MAESTRO SO MUCH. both of them are other-worldly beings. they're gods of their own realms. they're dramatic and passionate and so dead-set on getting what they want. but its not just about getting what they want, its about having fun with it and turning it into a show. because what's the point in going out if you cant go out with a BANG?

something else i loved was the doctor in this episode. ncuti gatwa's doctor, like david tennant's, is so extremely emotional and passionate and it makes me want to SOB. the doctor mentioning his granddaughter? TEARS IN MY EYES. "i can only smile like this because ive lost so much" SOBBING ON THE FLOOR. the 15th doctor has already been so emotional and i know im gonna cry so so much while he's around. BUT THATS SOMETHING I LOVE ABOUT DOCTOR WHO. because it can be so silly and weird and funny and then it can turn around and be spine-chilling and emotional ALL IN THE SAME EPISODE. because when you think about it, the story of the doctor is HEARTBREAKING. and when that side of him comes out you HAVE to expect the waterworks.

AND THEN RUBY THE ENTIRE EPISODE ???? i know theres something up with her and i just OH MY GOD!!! BECAUSE THE SNOW??? THIS EPISODE AND LAST EPISODE? AND THE SOUND OF CHRISTMAS?????? im gnawing on the bars of my enclosure I NEED TO KNOW. shes so interesting I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT because its like who's her mom?? whys she able to do the snow thing?? how did she have a song in her ????? I’m SO tired of the amount of romance drama in this fucking show it’s making me insane. The only THREE characters in Dcas who don’t have romance being an important part of their arc in this season or their original season is FIORE, MIRIAM AND LAKE. The two who basically CAN’T have a romance plot because of their ages, and Lake who was only rlly close in age to Maggy from her season. Shoutout to Lake for being spared from the horrors.

Otherwise they are ALL involved in romance in some way or another, and it’s so tiring especially bc this show just has to go out of it’s way to ruin every single one of them either by some several episode long conflict or giving them 0 screentime. Hell, they can’t even resist doing the same thing to many of the friendships in this series. Tess, Ally and Hunter barely interacted at all after all the set up in season 2, Tom and Gabby barely interacted until the episode he was eliminated in, I don’t think we got a single scene with Jake and Miriam after ep 1, like… what is The Point. There’s also Grett and Gabby, and they were great!!! But they REALLY could’ve started that whole arc earlier. Episode 12 ends with them being Reluctant friends, they don’t really start getting along great until the end of episode 13, and then we get one single episode and Gabbys gone. Awesome. If they KNEW they were doing this, why couldn’t they have started having them interact since the moment Gabby joined the villains alliance? As much as I enjoyed their interactions, it did feel a bit undeserved to me how they were treated as Absolute Bffs forever after 2 episodes when they had more time to set it up. For example, the scene where Riya tells Grett off for not standing up for herself could’ve easily been Gabby, Riya and Grett don’t even interact after that.

Now basically the only friendship we have left is Jake and Aiden.. PLEASEE don’t ruin them for some stupid forced drama I’m begging you!! I think we’ve officially gone past the Jake’s character arc takes 50 steps back and causes a dumb conflict for no reason point, but there is still the fact that Aiden doesn’t know Jake is the reason James was eliminated. I’m just waiting for them to bring it up and ruin everything again at this point.

You know what's interesting? I think Merlin not telling Morgana about his magic was the right move. Like I like a good Morgana (occansionally), but the way the show lays out the events, it seems likely that she would fall anyways - with or without Merlin. Morgause would have approached Morgana anyways and I think that her familial connection and vengeance against Uther would have influenced Morgana to her side regardless of anything Merlin could have done. Like Morgana has no reason for Uther to live - even more so after she learns that she is his daughter. And if she knew that Merlin had magic, in season 3, she could unduly influence him with the power of blackmail. Like Morgana has the power here socially. It was the reason Merlin couldn't call Morgana out at the start of season 3! Gaius is right, had Merlin told Morgana of her power, nothing good would have come out of it. And I don't think that Morgana knowing of Merlin's magic would have changed her loyalties in the long run. Morgana's initial motive was to stay alive in a regime that wanted her dead - by taking out the family that killed her people, but then it shifted to power, to treat the general populace as she was treated. (I honestly don't think they would have stopped with Uther, even more so before the revelation of Morgana's parentage - knowing that Morgana has a claim to the throne is the only reason why killing Arthur wasn't a serious priority in the season 3 finale. Yes, they wanted to kill him, but they did so because of the threat is posed to the throne, being the legitimate heir, not because he was the only heir. Morgana and Morgause more so in my opinion focused on shifting the opinion of the knights and the civilians.) I think people put far too much weight on Merlin for being the reason that Morgana turned, when there are so many other reasons she did. Sure, having Merlin around would ease her isolation and maybe her fear, but at the end of the day, Morgana is her own woman and a lot of her decisions would have happened regardless of what Merlin decided to do about the secret of his magic. And do not get me started on the Fires of Idirsholas because the perception regarding that episode is the definition of wrong, in my opinion.

oh yea i so agree that it wasn’t a good idea for merlin to reveal his magic to morgana and that he was right not to do so. i think everyone also just believes that since morgana has magic she’s immediately trustworthy which is funny cuz canon legit shows how just because people have magic that doesn’t mean there’s a unity within them. and everyone be forgetting that she is in a high power class - she’s literally Uther’s ward then turns out that she is his daughter. like the same people who say that merlin should have told morgana are also the ones to say that merlin had a right to keep it from arthur which i think is bonkers cuz why the fuck do you have those beliefs but then say that just cuz morgana has magic that merlin should trust her? like everyone talks about how arthur has power in court but so does fucking morgana! she def would’ve used this shit as blackmail which we see in canon that she takes away merlin’s powers likeeee.

i so agree that her vengeance would’ve triumphed anything Merlin said especially because people forget that arthur plays a big role here (unknowingly of course) but merlin has a huge amount of faith that arthur will set them all free but morgana has always been flimsy with her belief in arthur - thinking of the lancelot and gwen ep where she’s yelling at arthur and doesn’t notice him packing. like that isn’t about magic but morgana’s faith in arthur is soo filmst meanwhile merlin has this steadfast faith in arthur even when it comes to magic. and this is a huge thing about merlin revealing his magic cuz this faith is what he has for the magical community! legit in the season 3 ending morgause and morgana attack the citizens like it def was more vengeance than anything else.

Rhaenyra Ep1 - How can I even describe this set? It's like you captured the sunlight and bottled it up within this absolute masterpiece. This is a 20/10 set, a total knockout. This is the kind of set that makes you feel grateful you have eyes. The amount of beauty leaping off the screen is insane.

Rhaenyra Ep2 - I feel like for this one I won't be able to convey all my feelings and awe so hope you can still understand my word barf. This set is so absolutely gorgeous, just mega ultra a-piece-of-heaven gorgeous. I still can't believe you graced us with this work of art. I want to give it a thousand kisses, I love it so much. From the drop-dead-gorgeous color combo, to your skills with blending and coloring these really dark and then really bright scenes. Like they should have hired you to be their editor.

Rhaenyra Ep3 - This peach and mint coloring looks so delicious, beyond sublime! I have no idea how you managed to color some of the scenes without it affecting the skin tone but you did it so beautifully that I shudder in pleasure. Here the blending looks extra impressive cuz I imagine it wasn't easy to combine these scenes especially in the carriage and the bloody hair. How do you do it?! Spare some talent please!

Rhaenyra Ep4 - This whole set looks so ravishing, it makes me want to hold it in my arms like Daemon wanted with Rhaenyra. Honestly, how did you manage to color these scenes?! This must have been done frame by frame for some of the gifs and I applaud your effort in doing this! It looks fantastic! The blending here is ingenious and the colors you chose work so well together! And my god the fontwork is just amazing! I love how you tried out a variety of different fonts for the sets and made them look so good! You are so freakin talented!

Rhaenyra Ep8 - Can I get a round of applause for Neve? Your extraordinary work in making this set so sexy, and your bombass blending-work here just shows off how incredible your talents are! The colors here look so scrumptious, just so fierce.

Rhaenyra Ep10 - I'm a huge fan with sets that have black and white as their focus but there's still some color left. Just something about it makes me go feral. Like this set, I was so mesmerized. And so impressed cuz this ep has so many bright scenes, I wouldn't even know where to start with trying to blend, but you did and made it look so epic!

HOTD Dragons and Their Riders - One of the best sets in the fandom, no contest. The amount of colors you managed to put into this and the use of limited scenes for some gifs, you are so creative. And not only is the coloring magnificient, the blending is top notch, like the level of awesomeness I aspire to be but the cherry on top is your fontwork and the little images that work so well with the scenes. I adore this rainbow-like set and it holds a special place cuz I am a huge fan of tinier gifs.

The Dragon has Three Heads - Didn't I just say I love tiny gifs? Well here's another set I love. The coloring here is extraordinary, it all looks so bright and pretty and the fact you had to use so many shows for this set in order to make it, your effort is felt and appreciated. But yeah your coloring skills are wowza!

Bridgerton - So I haven't yet seen this show but when I saw this set, I let out a gasp and stared at it for a few minutes cuz it is so stunning! The soft oranges look so lovely. Very heavenly and yet still holding some vibrancy and looks so pretty! And not only did you create wondrous blending for the colors but also for the bw, and it looks so incredible! And I adore that 3d gif with the bw side, the blending-work is just so coherent and cool. The fontwork is also once again, mwah!

Shadow & Bone - This is also another show that I haven't yet seen but it's very high on my watchlist so I can't wait till I finally see it and get to reblog this fandom's beautiful creations like this one here! D'you know I actually had to look up synonyms for 'gorgeous' because I was running out of words? Pretty colorings, amazing blending, awesome fontwork and images? Your sets are so attractive.

Daemyra Book/Show - It should come as no surprise that your Daemyra sets are some of my faves cuz I love them. And I also adore simpler sets where the coloring does most of the work. And the coloring is so superb, I love how the focus is on the orange. And I'm filled with feels cuz I love this duo so much!

Daemyra + Bridge Scene - Another great set where the coloring looks very natural but so pretty. And also a fan of funny sets that look nice! Also, the way this scene is set it makes your meme look 100% legit.

Matthew is once again giving Neal shit for being "too trusting," and Neal hits him where it hurts by saying that yeah, maybe he is very trusting but he also has many people in his life who truly care about him. Whereas Matthew is all alone in the world. And Ross McCall is such an amazing actor cuz you can see for a split second that Matthew was indeed hurt by what he said! There's this flash of pain in his eyes that slips away just ad quickly as you see him put on his "bad boy" persona again to protect himself. And then only minutes later have Peter shoot him dead, and the camera pans out to show him all alone with no one to mourn him??? So poetically tragic, I love it. One of the best TV villains!

Anywho, I'd also be curious to know what the "meet-cute" was for the reader and Matthew and at what point did both of them realize "oh shit, I might feel something for this person!?" I have always felt that Matt is very aware of his status as a 'Blue Collar Criminal'. Neal describes him as such in one of the ep. I feel like Matt is very working class, he knows what it's like to have to fight to survive, I imagine he suffered an abusive childhood with his father in a criminal gang and he had to 'work' otherwise he didn't eat or was punished. He learned the family business in a brutal way. He is ridiculously practical because he was never allowed to have the same moral opportunities as Neal. Emotions are weakness is a lesson he learned from a very young age and it's made him hard.

I think he had a very traumtic event in his youth regarding a woman betraying him. I imagine he fell in love, considered going straight and his father killed her so he would learn that love is a weakness and because he wanted to keep him close. I believe in return Matt killed his father before disappearing and making a name for himself. I don't think he has ever had a person who actually cared about him. Even the girl he was associated with was on his father's payroll, she was set up as a learning experiance. He felt genuinely for her but she did not for him. His father still killed her anyway because he could see the depth of Matt's feelings and thought he needed to learn that lesson.

I think Avery is a naturally warm, empathetic person but she's very coveted in their world. I think a lot of criminals playing at their level struggle to form relationships outside of other criminals because it means hiding those aspects of yourself. You can't tell your partner you're stealing a Monet because if you're caught they will become an accomplice so you have to have a secret life and that fractures a relationship. Also their world is very male dominated so the ratio of attractive women is very limited so Avery is used to getting hit on ALOT by the men she works with which makes her guarded. She has walls but she isn't afraid to be herself, she knows who she is and she doesn't try to hide it and that's what Matt finds attractive. She's the most direct and upfront person he knows, she cuts through all the bullshit and she sees through his bullshit.

I imagine they met through a joint assignment possibly through Neal. Game recongised game, afterwards they worked a few ops on their own. I think Matt loved the way she made him laugh, I think it's been a long time since he's allowed himself to relax. I think he fell in love with her ability to be open when he's so closed off. I think the moment he realised he was in love was when he found himself telling her about his history because she asked him to tell her something real about himself.

I think for her it started off very much as sex. Matt's attractive, intelligent, dangerious but he's emotionally unavailable, which originally made her feel safe as there was no danger of attachments. They had similar tastes and became very attuned to each other as lovers. I think it was very on and off, usually when they were in each other's orbit by accident and then I think for Matt it started becoming less accidental. I think for her she realised she enjoyed spending time with him outside of the bedroom. I have this image that once when they were casing a place as couple they both sat down in front of a painting they had no interest in stealing and he told her how he felt when he looked at it. Not from a technical stand point but from an emotional one and it really resonated for her because he was describing real feelings in that moment, something she had never seen from him before and she realised there was incredible emotional depth under the surface. Afterwards I think she took him for gelato and it became more like a real date, her arm linked through his as they walked through the park. They started doing more couple like things after that, dinner, wine tastings, art showings, things that weren't related to jobs they were pulling, things they actually enjoyed doing together.

BNHA S2 EP24 - Katsuki Bakugou: Origin

*takes a deep breath* I have SO many fucking emotions when it comes to this episode. Honestly, I'm trying hard not to cry like the emo bitch I am right now lol Fuck... Okay. 😑 This post is going to be fucking long and all over the place and I apologize in advance.

Let me actually begin with the ending of ep23 where we have both Deku & Kacchan's voicing the preview and that fucker talks over Deku and shit, yelling "PLUS ULTRAAAA" and you hear Deku little "Traaa?" at the end, hkdmqmmsd that's so fucking funny.

Now for the real shit. Man rewatching that fight after being caught up on both s6 and the scans? Yeah, my heart can't take that stuff...😫

All Might is our top bkdk shipper, man. Apart from Aizawa, he's probably the only other adult really seeing what the relationship between Izuku and Katsuki can truly become (gotta love Aizawa for being so observant and forcing them to team up btw). That fight against AM is truly the first big step in mending their broken relationship, eh.

(my mind's a fucking whirlwind and I'm trying hard to be coherent, bear with me)

I'm thinking of something as stupid as this but... look at the distance between them here - and compare it to how it's going to be after s6 and Kats' apology? That dude has grown so fucking much and it shows even in his placement next to Izuku lmao *damn*

We start that ep with Kats' POV and all his anger and frustration towards Deku making progress right? He's set on winning that shit on his own, refusing to cooperate and telling Deku to not follow him (yeah my dude we know you'd die if the nerd didn't follow you anymore). All in all, it's a freaking bad start when facing All Might, we even have that scene where he's yelling at Deku and Deku is yelling back "STOP YELLING! It's because you do that we can never have a normal conversation!" and boy... 😫

Since we all know Katsuki's an overthinker (how he's been bottling shit up after 'ending All Might's career?) and that he is obsessed with the nerd, he's probably been thinking about this too, "If I start yelling we won't be able to talk" so he actually starts the convo softly during Deku vs Kacchan part2, like hello?!

Ahem. Anyways, what's also interesting is that moment where they knock each other out because they aren't working together at all. Katsuki is only thinking of charging to AM to defeat him and win while Izuku is literally too intimidated by his idol and wants to run away. They don't even think about each other and what the other is planning to do, hence the clashing. It's so great to actually see this because it brings out their cooperation (later in the episode but also in the whole series) and how they're really a fucking 'wonder duo' when they do work together. Once the relationship is on the way to being mended and they start seeing each other as rivals (see movie 2 Heroes Rising for instance), we actually see how much they're in synch, they don't even have to fucking talk to one another to understand what the other is thinking or planning next and it's just so fucking amazing man... Like really, that connection they have on the battlefield is ridiculous.🧡💚

Moving on to when Deku is stuck under a fence cuz AM is an asshole djdmmds he literally just fucking broke Kats' ribs or something, the dude is puking, like what the hell...

Anyways we got Deku's flashbacks of their childhood and him fawning over Kacchan. "I always admired you for that [winning]" - and I don't know, but have you guys noticed how Izuku's memories are always about Kacchan and his admiration for him, like he'd be following him around spying on him, just watching him with stars in his eyes the whole fucking time - THIS is what's in Izuku's mind everytime he thinks of their childhood and at the opposite end what do we have? Katsuki hung on the damn river scene OVER AND OVER AGAIN. The contrasts is crazy and it holds so much meaning aaaah 😖🧡💚 I love Hori so much for this, man.

We move to Izuku punching Kacchan in the face to save his ass and run away in an alley, literally hopping like a bunny (pyon pyon) and they have a sorta normal convo (yeah Kats is still yelling and exploding a wall but eh I call that progress). Then they face AM again and tadaaaaa we have another scene of Katsuki's crying face and WHY? Because he's fucking frustrated! When I tell you guys that dude only cries like this when he's frustrated and only in front of Deku and AM (for the record, that's up till he's accepting all of his feelings for Izu and Izu's love for him in the latest scans... *cries thinking of it*)

I think that's also when he's slowly but surely starting to accept that yeah he's eventually going to have to cooperate with Deku, not just for this fight but in the future too. Right now it's still too raw, his inferiority complex is still too present and yeah... but we'll get there, won't we? 🧡

Anyways, Katsuki Bakugou's Physical strength appreciation moment because... Fuck, even Izuku is astonished by the weight and strength of that dude's gauntlet and Kacchan is moving around and blasting that shit like it's a piece of cake, like what?!?! 😲🔥 Hot.

I can't help but be so unsettled by Bor'dor's questions in the recent ep. And I wonder if it's just me having a poor read, but like Deni$e was asking some of the same things and I felt completely fine with her. First of all, I wish the "Was he born evil?" had been corrected at the table. No one is born evil. I feel like even in the twisted and chaotic world of Exandria, this should still resonate the same. Even from the standpoint of a guy who's lived such a simple black/white existence– it felt like an incredibly radical statement.

But then asking how many people they killed? And being incredibly insistent about it?? "Do you think you killed enough?" It was never about killing as many people as possible. It was just about killing one guy. And if his followers got in their way you kinda have no choice but to fight back or give up now and it all goes to waste. But was that an odd question or had the team just not been clear enough the many times they described their enemy in past discussions? I felt like they had been... but then again I'm as invested as they are, fully capable of forgetting to include info that would be vital to someone who had never even seen a wizard until a few days ago.

There was just something to Bor'dor that felt incredibly off. No one of bells hells ever set any expectations that these three would join them after they found a way off the continent. His talk with Orym in the last ep was very supportive and kind and gentle. But this discussion felt like a complete 180. There was an air and tone to it all that seemed so aggressive and accusatory. The stark contrast from "if this is so important to you I hope you succeed. I'll help where I can while we're together" to the "is this what you wanted? Are you satisfied? What makes you think you can change anything? You should just cut your losses and go home" had me reeling. I feel a bit trapped between being genuinely suspicious and doubting my judgement cuz maybe I'm just not reading it right.

youre trying so fucking hard to set up this unit spin off. im going to be horribly honest with you: i dont really care, and i think this is such a corny way to do it. i think torchwood (the show) is something people see with rose-tinted glasses a lot of the time, but i do think its slower introduction to the characters, completely isolated to its own tv show, made more sense. i feel like this weird vibe of just setting up these big personalities who all neatly fit into the exact archetypes you'd Expect... i dont know. i dont care for any of them. i love big weird non human robot-adjacent entities and i dont even care. and that fucker has cable-like tentacles too. i should be sold.

i think its also cuz they are like so obviously these Scifi archetypes for shows like this which is fine but leading first with a quickfire round of rather than getting a softer introduction to them just sort ofmakes them feel like fake cartoons. i think thats sorta why ive never truly warmed to paternoster gang too.

like i think my issue - and im welcome to be proved wrong, whenever we do get this unit spinoff - is i feel like its leading with the idea of "i want a spinoff" first rather than an attempt to fill a specific niche or hole for stories. i feel like sja and torchwood were both very specifically shows that would be in the universe, but would cater to things that would not suit the proper show, and had their own cast driving it.

like i'll be honest i like kate but ummmm im not sure i like her enough to follow her into a spin off. LOL.
