One time, I was like, “I wanna go to Canada to see the Fall Out Boys,” and then I worked A LOT (I still have not recovered), and my Canadian friend helped me book stuff after my bedtime less than a week before my flight and it was hard, and I am concerned, but anyway that’s happening this weekend. I haven't written much since Wednesday, so I only have 6 sentences from a single WIP to share today. This snippet is from one of my COBB projects 😉

That when you cross the river Styx, that’s it. There’s nothing but a vast field littered with formless spirits that hold no life.

It should disgust me. Even though I now know that those stories are false—this realm is far from empty.

Still, my powers are that of life. And I find myself wondering if they belong among the dead.

With it pushing midnight, and just casually scrolling tumblr for 90 seconds, I think I'm the only one who hasn't posted yet! So I'll forgo tagging, and hopefully be earlier on WIP Wednesday.

I think what I want to get into with the "Anyone can do harm." thing that I keep beating yall over the head with is that literally anyone, anyone at all can do harm it's not "in your DNA" to be an abuser or written in the stars that you'll be a predator. Whatever image you have of an abuser in your head, drop it and replace it with your favorite person in the world and you'll probably be closer to the truth than you realize. It's easy to address harm when it's coming from someone you already hate. I see it happen all the time. Someone you couldn't stand for no real reason does something heinous then all of a sudden here comes the avalanche of "I always knew they were a fucked up individual." No, you didn't. There is no possible way you could have known, you just already didn't fuck with them before they started doing something you could use to justify your hatred of them. I'm guilty of it too! I'm petty, mean, vindictive, and yes! I'm way quicker to believe something bad about someone I hate versus someone I love because I'm human. Still, y all gotta learn to move past that initial "Well, they were always nice to me!" gut feeling and understand that nobody truly knows anyone and anyone can be capable of anything. Even victims. Even you.

The hardest, but most important, part of my transition has been untangling what my personal dysphoria is, and what is more a result of cissexism.

What I mean by this is that I learned that I am not dysphoric about certain aspects of myself, my body, and my life, but my discomfort in these aspects was influenced by the cissexist culture I live in which told me I couldn't exist as myself.

It's definitely a slow process, but I have found that it helps me self-actualize and actually see myself instead of what others demand of me.
