Introduction

Welcome to the official page for any and all content concerning the OC-centric fanfiction A Pocket Full of Sea Glass! The story follows the adventures of our OCs Yukinaga Umiko (Yuki’s OC) and Kanazuchi Sara (Kana’s OC), two childhood friends and aspiring heroes attending UA as first years. Questions and feedback are always welcome! 

Some information on the two admins: Admin Yuki is the artist between us two, she’s the one creating the incredible artwork and illustrations that will be posted from now on. All writing is done by Admin Kana, if she ever gets around her bad habit of procrastination and commitment issues. We’re friends in real life too!

Yukinaga Umiko (The Mermaid Hero: Sincerity)

Quirk: Water Manipulation

A mutant type that allows her to manipulate water: when Umiko is in her human form, she can only activate 50% of her quirk power and 100% in her mermaid form. In her mermaid form, even with 100% power, her movements are extremely restricted on land.

A cheerful, upbeat, and a bit ditzy teenager determined to be a Pro Hero, Umiko loves taking care of her friends and doesn’t dwell too long on the past, a firm believer of looking forward. She’s a little silly, but she means well and has a giant heart of gold.

Kanazuchi Sara (The Storing Hero: Archivist)

Quirk: Hammerspace

As the name implies, she has access to a separate dimension for storage. With a twist of her hand she can pull a book or a machine gun from her Hammerspace, as long as it had been stored there previously. She is limited to non-living things, but otherwise there are no limits to what she can store in her pocket dimension. 

A self-proclaimed ordinary teenager who was persuaded into pursuing a career in heroics after she met and befriended Yukinaga Umiko, Sara aims to be an underground Pro Hero working heavily in investigations and covert ops. Constantly tired, she’s lowkey a tsundere who’s much more cautious than Umiko but is learning to move forward despite her fears.
