Is it ok if I request a Clarisse x reader where their on a quest and there's only one bed (basic I know). Maybe there on a quest with some other people and they all know about the readers crush on Clarisse and vice versa so they make sure they get a room together?

And while their in the bed together it's super small so their squished close to one another and it’s just super cute!

“Really” is all clarisse had to say. She gave a dirty look to silena ignoring the fact that you both were supposed to sleep in the small room. It barley had enough space for you to walk in let alone sleep.

Stepping into the closet like space choosing to not pay attention to the growing argument outside. You started placing down the chairs to form a bed, adding the sheets, and making the bed itself. Once content you took a step back grabbing clarisses arm to gain her attention. “Look it forms a bed. You can take the room and I’ll find somewhere to sleep in the viewing hall”

“Like hell you are! You can take the room” her tone still agressive though softer when it came your way.

“—Or! You both could just share the room I mean the bed seems big enough” silena continued with an evil smile pressing the issue of you being together. You knew she knew, she was the daughter of love how couldn’t she.

Your crush on clarisse had been something you tried keeping under wraps, even if that meant denying it to even yourself. Silena had found out about your feelings early on— lucky for her she also knew about clarisse heart throb to.

Being put on this quest with you both was the perfect time for her to play match maker much to both of your dismay. Taking every chance she got to force you to together which now led to her ‘accidently’ loosing one of the room tickets.

“I don’t see the problem” silena kept her innocent act.

“The fucking Problem is—“ the only reason for her pause was due to you squeezing the girls bicep making her look down at you.

“Next time please don’t fuck up the room tickets ok..” you sighed.

“And we’re not done with this conversation got it!” Clarisse made sure she had the final word.

“Great! Happy we got this settled” Silena Just smiled happily as she skipped down the hall to check out the rest of the train. Leaving you both alone.. again.

Walking back to the rooms from the public shower hall both you and silena laughed over some silly memory from camp.

“Thank you again for letting me borrow a pajama set I really don’t know how mine got lost” you smiled at the brunette. Taking a look down you admired the red plaid pj shorts and the black tanktop— simple yet cute.

“Of course, you can keep them the plaid really clashes with my skin anyways” she giggled. Arriving at your rooms you waved goodbye to silena before opening your door.

You and clarisse looked at eachother with confusion as you had on matching pajamas only clarisses had long plaid sweats and a black wifebeater. “I’m going to kill her”

“It’s pajamas” You rolled your eyes climbing onto the bed and shutting the door.

“And she’s playing devils advocate” clarisse scorfed going back to her spear.

You admired the girls handiwork with her weapon. Not anyone could polish and keep a spear clean quiet like clarisse. Dragging yourself away from her form you had an idea. Leaning forward and grabbing your bag you pulled out your laptop

Kicking the bag aside before crawling under the covers you tried to make as much room on the tiny bed.. A minute later clarisse wrapped an arm around you just to make both of you more well comfortable. “What are you doing” she curiously asked. You however just ignored her, opening the laptop and quickly connecting to the Wi-Fi clarisse practically snatched your mac book away. “Are You Crazy?! You’ll attract monsters to us that I’ll have to kill”

“Calm down lise” you took the computer back. “I had the Hephaestus cabin Alter this so Monsters as a matter of fact can’t track us”

“Did they prove that?”

“Well.. no”

It amused you how she just rolled her eyes. After a few moments you had successfully pulled up an illegal website; typing into the browser you pulled up the movie ‘legally blonde’. Setting the computer on both of your laps as you were both squished together.

Moving around some both of you ended up cuddling, bodies tangled and heads closed to eachother; You Just listened to clarisses heartbeat.

“If a monster Does find us it’ll be worth it” clarisse sighed kissing the top of your head. You felt your whole body heat up, giving a flustered smile you sank more into the warmer girl. “What are You doing?” She chuckled.

“It’s cold out”

“It’s 75 degrees”

“Yeah Cold”

The movie came to an end faster than you wished. Placing the computer aside, and getting comfortable once more you decided to suck it up and finally confess. It was the perfect moment you had been waiting for— cuddling for the past hour, making jokes and even shy hands trailing each others body; if you hadn’t done it silena would of murdered you. Taking the chance you sat up, looking down at clarisse for a moment. Everything about her just amazed you.

Her brown eyes, her curly hair, the way she managed to stay strong and fierce while keeping her feminine side. You leaned down placing a kiss on her lips.

Immediately she placed her hands on your waist allowing her to deepen the kiss. Breaking away only for a second just to kiss you once again.

It moved faster that expected but that was fine. Grabbing her face into your hands you let out a soft moan trying to keep up with her desire.

Finally breaking free You panted with shot pupils. Clarisse looked the same as you. “I like you— like a lot, like more then a friend” you managed out.

“Thank the gods” she muttered before kissing you once again. Her hands traveled up your body until they found them self’s on the side of your neck. Pulling back clarisse moved you around on the bed so you could lay beside her.

Sitting in silence she gently rubbed your cheek, forcing your hair back so she could look at you and only you. “Can I be your girlfriend… please” she whispered.

It would of hard to of said no. Smiling wide you tangled your body with hers once more. “Yeah I think we can arrange for that”

Silena - you and yn are together— I wonder who could of set that up 😈

Spotted || The Queen of the Clan pt.1

I absolutely do think about werewolf/dog shapeshifter Johnny every day, because I am a weak little gorilla and want to cuddle a big doggo, but

What if Soap as a hyena shapeshifter. Cuz their manes look like mohawks and he can keep his precious fluffy hairstyle. He's trotting around with his spots and long black socks on those strong legs, round ears twitching when he hears someone - prey, perhaps? But prey doesn't sound so pretty and cute, doesn't laugh and chirp so sweetly. So he keeps his tail high and hurries to the sound source, to find reader there chatting with other people - all with photocameras and other familiar equipment. You're neither prey, nor threat: just a documentary crew here, probably mainly for the lions.

You spot him immediately, his wary stance catching everyone's attention.

"The tail up so high can mean different things, but it might be a sign of agression. Careful, everybody," one of the specialists warns you, and you nod - you're not stupid, that's clear, but the smile you have on your face is so blissfully ecstatic, almost as if every thought left your brain at the sight of a chonky, bulky hyena investigating your filming sight (to be fair, it's probably his everything else sight). But you're just happy to see your first big animal on this trip, and so close!

"Hi, beautiful," you coo softly, brely a whisper, as you pull your camera up and start taking pictures of him - it takes the hyena only a few moments before it suddenly changes his stance to a more imposing one, puffing out its chest, legs wide apart, mane fuffed up. "Aw, are you posing for me, pretty boy? That's right, you're gonna be a star. I can already picture everyone going crazy for these cute pics..."

You tear your eyes away from him to take a look at what you're getting, not sure if the exposition and other settings are right, but when you adjust them and look back up to try and take another picture, the hyena isn't there. You almost let out a disappointed sigh, when you realize that no one of the crew is moving and their eyes are all glued to you - and then something big, fluffy and warm bumps your hip.

"Oh god," you try not to get startled by the hyena so close. It's even bigger that it seemed from afar, probably will be as tall as you if it stands up on its hind legs. Actually, it might be a girl - those tend to be bigger among spotted hyenas, after all. A formiddable force of nature, a deadly predator - not to be fooled by the public perception.

And it's sniffing at you very loudly, fluttering its round ears and bumping your hip again, like a needy cat with its huge wet eyes, before you finally lower your camera - and it shoves its muzzle into the little screen immediately!

"What, you like these? Give me permission to make you famous?" you chuckle when the hyena lets out somewhat of an approving whine. It bumps its head against your palm, but, glancing at your crew, you decide to withhold from petting the wild animal, after all.

The hyena doesn't look pleased with it. It whines again, paws at you, and then huffs, clearly irritated. Leaving you alone and shaking its head to fluff up its mane again, it sniffs around, trotting around your temporary camp, and heads straight to your backpack - your food inside, sleeping bag rolled neatly and resting against its side. While you try to remember if you have anything there that could cause danger to the curious animal, the hyena sniffs around it, making sure it's definitely yours, and then...

"No, no-no-no, please, don't-" it's too late. Turning around with the smuggest smirk you ever saw on an animal's face, the hyena lines up and sprayes your stuff generously. The smell of boiling cheap soap and something else hits you almost immediately on that short distance. No amount of washing will save you. You stand there, absolutely speechless and bemused, as the hyena bursts out into loud cackling, almost rolling on the ground and the sight of you.

And then a response cuts through the air - one, two, three other voices, interrupting that little spotted shit's fit. It immediately stops giggling, casts you one last look with a grin and then bolts away, to its family pack.

What a start to your filming trip. You'll just have to hope that hyena doesn't bring all its friends to your camp to cause chaos...

Another important thing about spotted hyenas? Their packs are matriarchal :)

note | two posts in one day is insane but sorry i’ve fallen into a rabbit hole ever since totk came out so have another blurb!! 😣 first time writing for link so idk how i feel about it 💔 (also yes i just did one for inumaki i like the idea leave me alone)

The campfire made crackling sounds as Link fed it more logs. The sun had set long ago, the moon rising to take its place and casting a white glow across the land. The two of you had been traveling for a long time without breaks, so when you suggested that the two of you should rest for the night, Link offered no complaints. You were tired, the horses were tired; a break would benefit everyone.

You sat on the ground, far enough away so you wouldn’t get burned but close enough to still feel the warmth of the fire. Link took a seat right next to you on the floor, holding up mushroom skewers with a grin.

“Seriously? We just ate not too long ago.” You laughed, accepting the skewer nonetheless.

The two of you ate in comfortable silence, enjoying the small dinner Link had made (though, to be honest, you know he’ll make more, his stomach is like a void that never gets full). Finishing your skewer, you close your eyes, basking in the ambiance of the night. Somewhere in the distance, there was a cricket chirping. The grass tickled your legs as a small breeze passed through, making you shiver. It’s moments like this that give you hope for a new life after Ganon is defeated. Soon, you’ll have peaceful nights like this every day.

A rustling sound brings you out of your thoughts. Turning to look at Link, you noticed him preparing another skewer. You hold back a laugh, knowing you were right. Link hears you nonetheless and raises an eyebrow, almost as if saying, ‘What?’. You wave him off, a small giggle managing to escape. “It’s nothing, you keep eating.���

Link rolls his eyes, but you don’t fail to see the small smile growing on his lips. It’s not often that you get to see it, but he has a really nice smile. You wish you had the Sheikah slate right now to capture it.

In this moment, you can’t help but admire how beautiful he is. The light from the fire gave his sun-kissed skin a golden glow. His eyelashes are long, something you’ve commented on several times while on your journey together, casting shadows against his cheeks. Actually, his cheeks are unusually round today.

You’re tempted to squish them.

Silently debating whether or not to squish, you figure he wouldn’t mind. He does it often to you; this is only fair. Link turns to look at you as you lean in, half expecting you to kiss him, but instead you cup his cheeks. He gives a confused hum as you gently squish them for a few moments.

Slowly, you begin to pull him close to you. Now, Link thinks, now is when you give him a kiss. To his surprise, you bit his cheek. He doesn’t pull away; he just silently sits there as you bite his cheek.

When you pull away, Link is sitting there, confused. Link raises his skewer to you, gesturing for you to take it. This causes you to burst out laughing. “No no! I’m not hungry haha, just wanted to bite your cheek!”

“.. you sure?” Link asks, half expecting you to bite his cheek again.

“Yes, Link, I’m sure.” You laugh. You grab his free arm and wrap it around your shoulder, snuggling into his side for warmth.

Link goes back to eating, pulling you closer with his arm, still wondering where your sudden urge to bite him came from. While he was distracted, you turned to his arm that’s wrapped around your shoulder and bit his forearm. He flinches, once again caught off guard.

“If you’re hungry, please tell me.. I promise I didn’t eat everything and can make you another skewer.”

realistic friends to lovers with bakugou katsuki

a/n: i watched the boys around me and how they treated the girls they think serious about, so i came up with this. this is realistic in my opinion of course, you may not think like that. but hope u guys enjoy, i wasn't writing abt my husband in a VERY long time 🫶🏻

warnings: bad grammar, not proofreaded

- bakugou wasn't the serious relationship type.

- he wasn't a people guy either, but when he wants someone he knows how to get that someone.

- with that face, a few beautiful words were enough to get what he wanted.

- and his sharp tongue was also enough to send them away.

- he was acting like this, because he knew how no one can deal with his character.

- until he met you.

- the first moment he saw you, realised that he found the one.

- he didn't wanted you, he needed you.

- you were like his oxygen to breath or, water to drink when he's so thirsty. the first bite of the food when he's so hungry or the moment he sits down after a very long day.

- you felt so.. comfortable. so... pure.

- but, he didn't even talk to you.

- he didn't text, call, or invite you to events.

- you have to make the first move.

- of course, that doesn't mean he doesn't do cute things.

- for example;

- once he gave you his earrings just because you like them even though they were very expensive.

- when you talk bad about yourself he complements you agressively. complements you because he needs you to know how he sees you, does it agressively because how stupid you are to think you're ugly or unworthy.

- how can you think those bad things about yourself when you're literally the definition of angel in his eyes.

- he buys you stuff and constantly pays your bills when you guys go to a restaurant.

- walks behind you when there's creepy-like men around and gives them death stares.

- literally so nice to you. bullies mina [ in a innocent way, but you know, he's kinda mean. ] in front of you for talking stupid, but when you make a dumb joke that's literally not funny, he's laughing his ass off.

- or when he bullies uraraka for her outfit in a joking way but mesmerized when you walk into the room.

- just, nice. very, very, nice.

- and so shy.

- but still, you have to text him first.

- he needs to be sure that you love him too, because he's so serious about you and you're the only one he felt this way.

- he doesn't wanna get his heart broken because he won't know what to do with it.

- and he'd be a mess.

- and you understand this and usually make the first moves.

- like, you invite him somewhere, calling him and asking where he is or what he's doing. starting conversations basically.

- but one day, you get angry.

- the voices in your head becomes too loud at some point.

- he was so comfortable around mina and the other girls, why can't he be with you? he was so confident and relaxed around them it makes you think that he actually hates you, not loves you.

- yes he'd done very beautiful things, yes he's so nice to you but he's not doing anything if you don't do it.

- and because of this, one day you snapped.

- he was talking with his group as usual, you were already feeling like a burden but staying anyway, watching the man you love talk so confident with his friends.

- you were sitting alone and they were standing in front of you together, of course you were included by the girls but not by the man you love.

- he wasn't talking with you very much but he was keeping an eye on you.

- sometimes he would blink at you when you're staring at him and asks what you're doing. checks you in his way and then turning into the conversation again.

- and you were so bored of this.

- you sighed angryly and get off, saying nothing.

- leaving all the confused looks behind.

- it was after five minutes you left, bakugou followed you.

- "hey, what happened back there?" you rolled your eyes, hugged yourself because of the cold.

- bakugou noticed that and tried to gave you his jacket. key word; tried.

- "here, take my jacke-"

- "i don't want it."

- well, you can say that he was both confused and afraid.

- "you'll get cold."

- "do you even care?" you said sharply.

- he doesn't know what's going on, but one thing he knows that, you were so pissed.

- "what do you mean?" he asks, carefully picking his words.

- "i'm suprised that you even tried to gave me your jacket when i didn't even asked," you laughed sarcastically. "you know, you usually don't do things without someone telling you."

- oh. so that's what this is about.

- he had a confused look on his face, but a grin followed after.

- "tell me exactly, what is your problem?"

- "you, bakugou! you're my problem!"

- the last name treatment. this is bad.

- "why?"

- you sighed, calming yourself down. "i'm sorry if i misunderstand your feelings towards me but, if you do love me, i don't believe it."

- first of all, how dare you don't believe his feelings?

- second of all, how did you understand about his feelings?

- he knew he didn't showed you enough, but you seemed to not care about it so much.

- apparently, you were good at acting.

- "if you were so upset about this, why you acted like you didn't care?"

- "because, i didn't wanted to ruin things between us, i wasn't sure that you loved me." you said, a disappointed look on your face.

- he couldn't believe what he done.

- he adored you so much, so much that you were messing with his nature, and now you were telling him that you didn't believe he loves you?

- god, what a shitty night he thinked.

- he got closer and hold you by the waist, pulling you closer to him while putting his jacket on top of your shoulders.

- "i'm sorry i acted like an ass," he says. he was hold your face in his hands now. "i wasn't sure that you loved me too."

- "it's okay," you said, even though it was like an hell to you. "you did act like an ass though."

- he laughed. "i'm sorry angel," he said, thumb moving around your jawline. "i do love you, very much."

- you relaxed at his touches. "i love you too, asshole."

- you both kissed after, finally being together after a VERY LONG time 🫶🏻

Hamefura light novels : Let's investigate what will happen in the next volume !

Hi ! We are currently waiting for the release of the LN14 and everyone is on the edge to know what will happen in it. Sometimes, to know what will happen in a volume you have to carefully look at how are built the previous ones and try to guess what the author is thinking. So let's try !

PS : For the sake of the investigation I'll be very objective

First we must see who are the author's favorite characters

In her case, I think it's : Geordo, Maria, Keith, (Aaqil) and Sora

Geordo because almost all is always leading to him, he has the most sweet moments and we got his POV a lot and he is there in almost all the volumes and with Sora and Keith, he is the only one who can be with Catarina alone.

Maria because she is also in almost all the volumes, she is saved by Catarina often and the author always showers her with praises using the characters : Geordo , Raphael, Sora, Cezar, Dewey, Cyrus and Catarina.

Keith because he is one of the closest to Catarina, he is in almost all the volumes and his personnality is akin to Catarina in therms of romance and Catarina is referring at him as the Alluring comte number 2 because of his growing sexiness.

Aaqil because of all his moments in the movie (even if some are subtle ) and the goodbyes between him and Catarina in the novel. He is a mix of sexiness and cuteness. But I'm not completely sure.

Sora because his relationship with Catarina is slowly but safely getting stronger. He is almost in all the volumes since the LN3 and his moment in the volume 13 where he acted flirty with Catarina seemed to introduce Sora as a serious rival for the rest of the harem.

And for Hidaka Nami it seems to be : Geordo, Maria, (Sora) and maybe Alan

The tastes of the author :

The author seems to love "love affairs" stories, it's present in almost all the volumes : Keith's biological mother and viscount Coleman LN1 and 4, Geordo's grandfather LN7, marquis Dieke's story LN2 and 13, Dewey's parents LN 11, Sora's background LN 3 and 11, Cezar's background LN8 and 13, Aaqil's background (movie novel), Susanna's background LN12, Regina at the Ocean harbor LN9....ect

So I think that something like this is likely to happen in the next volume. Catarina may be involved in an accident like that.

I also found it suspicious that she is now talking more about Catarina's beauty because in the first volumes it was either ignored or in the negative part (especially in Catarina's POV) but it improved since LN9.

The author also seems to prefer the "sexy type" over the "cute type" because the guys only seem to make actual progress when they are a bit agressive or wild.

Though the author seems to love Maria a lot I don't think it will turn into a yuri because Catarina seems to only really consider the boys as love interests, Maria seems to be more Catarina's waifu

Satoru Yamaguchi didn't seem to particulary love Raphael, at least not as Catarina's love interest so it surprised me that we saw him much more than usual in the LN13, maybe she felt bad for leaving him out ? He usually doesn't have much time with Catarina and even said in the LN10 that even if he is in love with her he doesn't need to have her all to himself and only wants to protect her smile. It seems to me that the author wanted us not to think of him as Catarina's love interest for the time being but he also said that he likes having her to himself for their dark magic lessons in the LN12. Catarina seems to like and trust him more and more and, like Maria , he was still against the idea of Cezar getting interested romantically in her (because it would mean that she would move in another country and he wouldn't be able to see her anymore) and seriously care and worry about her. So I don't really know how to think anymore.

She seems to love foreign stories too, since LN8 the story talks a lot about other countries : Ethenell, Le Sabre and Mutlaq. So we might see the harem (or just some of them) travelling to another country for the plot !

She also seems to have a mischievous side, I mean Cezar biting Catarina's NOSE to makes her come to her senses was... and the children at the orphanage who were cheering for their favorite harem member was really cute.

The progress in the story :

Catarina seems to grow mentally, she is more serious,a little bit less dense, less reckless, a little more subtle and more diligent

We learnt more about the organization and about dark magic. Catarina seems to have high dark magic powers but she seems to have a blockage in her head that keeps her from using all her potential. (at least not when she want)

The mysterious man in the LN13 is heavily suspected to be Marquis Dieke, Raphael's father and the red haired boy in Sarah's memories is suspected to be Sirius.

Sora wasn't there during almost the whole volume, which is quite strange maybe it will be his turn to shine in the next volume ? We also have Arnaud who is related to him, maybe he is in Sora's route in FL2 ? After all Liam came back sooner than I thought so it's possible.

The serious members of the harem :

To me it's : Geordo, Maria, Keith (Rapahel) and Sora (Aaqil)

A detail if you carefully watch the opening of the season 2 you can see that Geordo, Keith and Sora are slighly hinted to be the most serious harem members (or at least those who will make the most progress) It's common in animes to give this kind of hints in the openings. The same way you can see Sora on the side of one picture at the end of the season 1. Keith should be more serious about his pursuit for Catarina's heart or else he will be left behind by Geordo. Maria doesn't really make "romantic progress" since she is on the "defensive" side. I don't really know for Aaqil and Raphael but it seems that Aaqil is officially a "harem member" since he confessed (ambiguously) to Catarina and will come back to meet her and their goodbye scene in the movie was really lovey dovey (I feel sorry for Masrur for having to look at that) and he doesn't seem afraid to fight against the harem for Catarina's heart. So we still don't know for him

Alright everyone buckle up, time for the daily “Charles obsessed with titties” ask and today we have a WONDERFUL one. I adore this. It’s so so so good. I’m gonna try and add some thoughts but it’s already incredible.

Firstly, yeah the fact that you actually love and encourage the emotional side of him is EVERYTHING to him. He’s other partners who tolerated it, but at some point they always stopped trying to comfort him and made him feel like his emotions were a burden.

He never meant to be a burden! He just feels so much so quickly and he can’t stop the tears.

But then you come along and not only do you wipe away his tears and offer him endless cuddles, but you actually praise him? You thank him for trusting you enough to let himself cry in front of you, promising him that he can always get comfort from you, that you’ll never turn him away.

And that’s just…. That’s everything. He never even let himself dream that he could find someone who loved him like that.

But now he has? Now he has you? How he has his mommy?

He loves you so much.

So obviously coming home without you is a big no. He always needs to decompress after a long and tiring day, and decompressing almost always involves some tears. It’s sometimes just a few tears in the shower, but other times he’s sobbing before he even manages to lock the door behind him.

It’s all just too much for his little heart. He’s just sobs on his own, crying his eyes out because he feels so much and it’s so intense and he needs his mommy to help!!!

Often you’ll end up getting a call from him if you’re not home? And they call never fails to break your heart because he’s always in tears. There’s no way for you to get to him, since he’s often away at a race. But he still begs you to come anyway, crying his little heart out cause he wants his mommy.

Maybe that’s where the idea of the pacifier comes from? You think about how much he loves to suckle on your breasts, how happy and safe it makes him feel.

He’s a little uncertain when you suggest a pacifier, but he trusts you completely so of course he’s going to try what his mommy suggests.

It’s not a proper replacement for you, because nothing would ever be able to do that. But it helps. It helps so much. It’s so much better than being alone. Especially if you’re on the phone with him and he can hear your voice?

Listening to you talk, cuddling your hoodie and suckling on his pacifier. It’s good. It’s so so good. He can feel himself calm down and he falls asleep just like that.

Sometimes he doesn’t need to call you, sometimes he can just calm down on his own. But he always needs his pacifier and his mommy’s hoodie.

Though of course the moment he gets home, he needs cuddles from his mommy. Immediately!! Even if he arrives in the middle of the day, he still needs to cuddle and suck on you a little and take a nap.

It’s so so good, just cuddling under your shirt with suckling on your titty and allowing himself to float. He’s so happy there, so warm and safe and he can hear your heartbeat and listen to your voice and it’s perfect.

Sometimes he’ll start crying there? Even if he wasn’t crying when he starts suckling.

Ranking the programs at GPF - the Junior Women SP edition

Was it the best junior women’s field at JGPF in ages ? Imho yes without a question. Great skating all around, some pretty stunning programs and loads of (hopefully) future stars.

And it showed in the choreography. I enjoyed most of theses programs, some have outright made my best of the season list.

As usual, from least favorite to favorite

6 - Chaeyeon Kim - Everybody Knows, choreo by Yeaji Shin

Chaeyeon Kim is that rare skater of whom I can I say that I love her packaging... While disliking her programs this season.

Let me explain : while most Korean ladies, junior and senior, are packaged as classical, lyrical skaters, with long lines, shimmering dresses and tiaras, and while they nearly all have to skate the inevitable Yuna Kim tribute (still have PTSD from the Oly season), Chaeyeon stands out in imho the best ways.

Her skating is nothing like those of her teammates. It’s much more agressive, combative. Her music choices feel outside the box, so does her choreo, which is more likely to feature split jumps, flying kicks, than Ina Bauers and flowy arms.

And it’s good ! Her SP infortunately isn’t. It’s far too busy and instead of a Yuna Kim tribute, you end up with something looking like it came straight from Dany G and Tutberidze team.

Also junior skaters and fresh seniors shouldn’t skate to a Leonard Cohen song, especially this one. Especially when the lyrics include 

“Everybody knows that the naked men and women

Are just a Shining artefact of the past

Everybody knows the scene is dead” 

I don’t think Chaeyeon can understand, let alone interpret those lyrics

5 - Jia Shin - The Giving, choreo by Yeaji Shin

Ranked low because that short failed to leave an impression. I can’t even recall what the music was, besides “that thing Marin Honda skated to once”.

And tbh it’s a disservice to Jia. I’m not that fond of the “Jia vs Mao, Yuna vs Mao 2.0″ dynamic developping because hype and kids don’t mix, but if we go down that road, I think that compared to Mao Shimada, Jia’s team really dropped the ball on the choreo this year. Mao’s programs were perfectly suited to her strengths, punchy and memorable, be it because of the costume (bright yellow Mao as Little Simba), or because of the choreo (that stunning choreo sequence in Passepied). Jia’s team probably attempted something more mature and elevated, which ended up being way too muted and failed to showcase what a stunning skater Jia is (her FS is better in that regard).

4 - Mao Shimada - The Lion King, choreo by Cathy Reed

Not the best thing there is, all in all it’s a pretty standard junior program, and it does its job perfectly. It fits Mao perfectly : it’s fun, it’s feisty, it’s cute. The music is an easy crowd pleaser, the dress is glorious.

3 - Minsol Kwon - Danse Macabre, choreo by Yeaji Shin

Speaking of inevitable Yuna Kim tributes... I don’t mind them among juniors. It’s absurd to expect individuality or personnal taste from junior skaters. They are learning and maturing, and doing that by skating tributes to former great skaters, or by skating to warhorses, where the interpretation might be easier, is a pretty good choice. It’s like learning your classics before composing.

Like Mao, this SP is nothing special but it helps that Minsol is hands down the best performer in this field, none of the juniors come close to the intensity she puts on the ice. And Danse Macabre is such a fun piece of music for that.

2 - Ami Nakai - I Got Rythm, choreo by Akiko Suzuki

First of all, I’m a sucker for I Got Rythm programs

Second of all, Ami Nakai had the performance of the day at JGPF. She went into it with so much speed and enthusiasm, she had a wobble on one of her spin. But besides that this was stunning. And I’ll stand by that, she was underscored. While yes her jump technique can be scary, and is far from the likes of Chaeyeon, Jia or Mao, her PCS should be up there with Jia and Mao. She has arguably the best SS of the field, very good posture and good musicality.

Third of all, Akiko Suzuki’s choreo is very good. The step sequence in particular is a stand out, and at JGPF, Ami managed to get level 4.

1 - Hana Yoshida - Dog Days Are Over, choreo by Lori Nichol

When Lori is on, she delivers all time bangers. Hana’s SP is a gem. The choreo is perfect and chock full of small details that highlights the lyrics. The bestie squats while she does the wave with her arms, while Florence’s voice swirls. Running on the ice, The head skaing choreo. The shoulder shrug...

And it’s such a shame that Hana basically peaked at her JGP events, and her season went kinds downhill after that. At Courchevel it was glorious, but she never managed again to be relaxed enough to sell it.

But it was glorious.

Vinnie stood in the airport, his heart heavy with the impending departure of his beloved boyfriend, Shahrukh, whom he affectionately called “Pookie.”They were inseparable, madly in love, and rarely spent any time apart. But sadly, Shahrukh had to leave for a few days to work on a project, and Vinnie couldn't bear the thought of being without him…

"T-There's no way y-you have t-to go, Pookie," Vinnie choked out, his voice trembling with emotion. "Please, s-stay with me. I-I'll be so lonely w-without you."

Shahrukh gently cupped Vinnie's tear-streaked face in his hands, his own eyes filled with love and understanding. "I know, my darling, but I have to do this. It's important, but I promise I'll be back before you know it."

Vinnie clung desperately to Shahrukh, his heart breaking at the thought of being separated from him. "B-But what am I s-supposed to do w-without you? I can't do this!” “I’ll be so lonely without you!”

Shahrukh smiled softly, wiping away Vinnie's tears with his thumbs. "You won't be alone, sweetheart. You have Russell and Sunil. They'll keep you company while I'm gone."

Vinnie shook his head, refusing to accept Shahrukh's reassurances. "I don't w-want them, I want y-you," he said sobbing into his chest.

As Shahrukh leaned in to kiss Vinnie goodbye, Vinnie's emotions boiled over. He started to scream and cry, his heartache echoing through the airport. Russell and Sunil rushed to his side, trying to hold him back as Shahrukh broke away walking toward his gate.

"You’ll be fine, Vinnie," Shahrukh called over his shoulder, his own voice choked with emotion. "I love you, and I'll be back soon!"

But Vinnie couldn't hear him over the deafening roar of his own anguish. As Shahrukh disappeared from view, Vinnie collapsed into Russell and Sunil's arms, his heart shattered tears streaming down his face..Russell and Sunil both exchanged glances.

Russell sighed, “This is going to be a long few days…”

Oh yes, I do indeed love my son's suffering, it makes me feel sooo warm inside :3 he's so cute when he's upset what can I say.

And yes, this aaaa, my Vinnie would be a bit more agressive. The "I don't w-want them, I want y-you," is so raw, like to Russell and Sunil it's honestly cruel, but Vinnie is under so much distress he can't even think straight. And now they have to deal with this deranged anxiety-driven man, beautiful.

Vinnie of course, has no shame in screaming and violently crying in public under such circumstances but I must say I was half expecting Russell and Sunil to be so embarassed, but no, they're understanding actually, sooo understanding. I say, just like in one of those headcanons I sent you before, Minka should just make a Sharukh cutout and then he would survive a little bit better. I think Minka would do it, yes.

And the day Sharukh is supposed to be back of course Vinnie is so fucking early at this damn airport, practically rabied. And if the plane gets delayed? Oh boy, on one hand hopefully Sunil and Russell would be there, on the other, perhaps it better they weren't anywhere around him at that time... cause like, he's a little bit unstable, y'know? ...:')
