The Rise of Custom Suits in Los Angeles: A Perfect Blend of Style and Individuality
In the fashion-forward city of Los Angeles, custom suits are becoming the go-to choice for those seeking individuality, sophistication, and a perfect fit. While off-the-rack suits offer convenience, the allure of custom tailoring lies in its ability to capture one's personal style while ensuring impeccable craftsmanship. Whether it's for a wedding, an important business meeting, or simply to make a statement, custom suits in Los Angeles offer a transformative experience that caters to the fashion needs of modern men and women.
Why Custom Suits?
One of the primary reasons people are gravitating toward custom suits is the fit. Mass-produced suits often follow standard sizing, which rarely accommodates the uniqueness of every body shape. Custom suits, on the other hand, are crafted based on precise measurements, ensuring that the suit hugs the body in all the right places. This personalized fit enhances comfort, boosts confidence, and creates a sharp, polished look that simply can't be achieved with ready-made options.
In Los Angeles, where personal branding and presentation matter, custom suits offer an unparalleled level of sophistication. Whether you're walking into a boardroom or attending a red-carpet event, the right suit can elevate your appearance and leave a lasting impression. With a custom-tailored suit, you can expect perfect shoulder alignment, seamless sleeves, and a flawless trouser length – key details that make all the difference in how the suit looks and feels.
The Power of Personalization
Another significant advantage of custom suits is the ability to personalize every detail. From fabric selection to lapel styles, pockets, button options, and lining, custom tailoring allows clients to design a suit that reflects their personality and taste. In Los Angeles, known for its thriving creative scene, this level of customization is highly valued. Clients often work closely with tailors to create designs that not only meet their needs but also stand out in a crowd.
For those who want a classic and timeless look, tailors in LA can guide clients through choices like wool, tweed, or cashmere fabrics, ideal for professional settings or formal occasions. For individuals seeking something more adventurous, options like velvet or bold colors can turn a traditional suit into a fashion statement.
Sustainability in Fashion
Los Angeles, a city that champions sustainability and ethical practices, has seen custom tailoring become part of the movement toward eco-conscious fashion. Unlike fast fashion, which mass-produces clothing items and contributes to environmental waste, custom suits are crafted with care, ensuring durability and longevity. Many bespoke tailors in LA emphasize sustainable practices by offering high-quality materials and reducing waste, making custom suits a responsible fashion choice.
Finding the Right Tailor
In a city as vast and diverse as Los Angeles, finding the right tailor is crucial. Many top tailors in LA have honed their skills over years of experience and have a deep understanding of both traditional techniques and modern trends. When selecting a custom tailor, it’s important to look for someone who values precision, has a keen eye for detail, and listens to your specific requirements. A good tailor will collaborate with you, offering expert advice while also making sure your suit represents your vision.
Conclusion
The rise of custom suits Los Angeles reflects the city's unique blend of fashion-forward thinking and individuality. In a world where self-expression matters, the custom suit offers more than just clothing; it’s a canvas for personal style, a testament to craftsmanship, and a commitment to quality. Whether you’re dressing for success in the business world or making a statement at a special event, a custom suit tailored in Los Angeles ensures you’re always stepping out in confidence and style.

Custom suits mean to last!
Put your time to nice use! We understand time is money but investing a slight extra time in something that will satiate your requirement, and acts as an ace in fitting is something that you shouldn’t ignore.
No, you don’t have to go for 1 hour straight to get yourself to the market, and then expend another 2 hours peeking over the collection. And, frankly, sometimes you won’t even see the best fit for yourself. Few tailors provide services at home as well. Get calculated, and get your suit or shirt at home. It certainly takes time but it will get you what you want.
Invest time, save efforts, and put them into the good thing - DESIGN YOUR SUIT AND SHIRT.
Meant to last
Timeless and-graceful made to serve the goal for a long time
Let’s face it, we are living in a consumer-driven world and it is filled with interim goods. But if you are a smart customer, you will look ahead of the price tag. Custom-made apparel is meant to last. It is made to suit you like a glove, and even if there are some adjustments, it can be smoothly done by a professional tailor. Unlike, ready-made custom-made suits los and shirts which may wear out because of low quality.
Custom-made suits and shirts outlast the readymade ones
This is how custom-made suits Los and Shirts make it to the ‘hotlist of trends’ and specialists agree with it! These are not merely modern, they are timeless.
The Right Man Apparel aims to get a revolution in men's fashion in India. We have carried a new way to style yourself. We bring the expertise of Indian tailors right to your doorstep, to build a suit that owns the ideal fit and premium quality.
Experience custom-made tailoring at Beverly Hills Bespoke suites
Fashion is nonetheless in an enduring state of flux, but much like true style, quality clothes last the test of time. Having a minimal cabinet full of quality clothes beats having suitcases full of poor-quality garments stuffed on top of cupboards and under beds and you’ll be able to glimpse and feel the difference when you wear them every day. So, stop selling yourself short, and welcome the high-quality clothes you deserve.

Looking For Tailor Made Suits in Los Angeles
The phrase bespoke refers to anything that is built specifically for you based on your own preferences. Although not confined to apparel, bespoke is most often linked with men's business clothes, including suits, tuxedos, sports coats, and more. Since tailoring your suit improves its overall fit, it will last longer and you will be able to wear it more often.

💖 Slight 14DWY + Blog Changes! 💖
(16/12/23)
Leon will now move away from Corland Bay when he’s 10 years old. Originally, I never really put that much thought into it because it won't be explicitly mentioned in the game, but I figured I might as well make it more accurate now ^^;
Teo is now 26 (instead of 27). Again, zero thought went into this aside from wanting a wider range of ages for the cast — but now I want him to be closer to Jae and Violet’s age — especially considering they were all childhood friends and Violet was in the grade below them.
Elanor is now 30 and Kiara is 29. In the 2017 version, Elanor was originally the eldest sister, but it just didn't feel right to change it in the 2020 version. Day 3 will still be lore accurate, but everything on this blog will need to be retconned.
14DWY Purple (unofficial) will now be changing from #A14BF4 to #9D64FD.
Not a change, but adding more clarification: Angel will still attend university (and Jae and Teo will still be their university friend), but whether or not they enrolled will remain ambiguous! Day 1/2 kinda insinuates that they studied something ("Teo attended some of their classes"), but I wanted it to imply that they could've attended orientation and/or took "mock classes" after high school to see what it's like as well. I may change a few lines in the demo (in the future) to reflect that.
Egg
I'd like to (hopefully) try to remind everyone that whenever I write about Angel on this blog, they are gender neutral. Because if my ass had a dollar for every time someone assumed they were female because of the cutesy/pink themes or how "soft" I made the MC, I'd have enough money to fund voice actors, translators, custom soundtrack, and pay the $100 Steam fee /hj
Changed the crackpot theory tag into an actual tag!! About time sdghjdg
(07/01/24)
Also not a change, but to solidify Haruko's appearance + Ren's likeness a bit more... Haruko is supposed to be an anime character with pink/blue hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. He's a modern day "sorcerer" (a reference to JJK, not a literal fantasy wizard lmao) from an anime called "Attack on Giants" (another reference to "Attack on Titan"); and is very kind, ditzy, and empathetic. All Ren has copied is his hairstyle, vibe, and demeanour. Ren isn't outright cosplaying Haruko, and it'd take an avid anime enjoyer to notice that Ren is attempting to mimic Haruko.
I'll make a poll one day, but I might change Ren's left sleeve tattoo to the spoiler-free placeholder I used in this artwork. A lot of people seem to prefer it, but I'll wait until the poll to make any final decisions.
I might also make another poll to see if perhaps a new BGM theme would better suit the demo. Because in my mind, the "summer/beach location" = acoustic guitar (rather than piano) — and for some reason I get lo-fi vibes from 14DWY??
I don't think anyone has picked up on this subtle shift yet, but Ren will mainly use "he/him" over "he/they" now (since Haruko is a he/him enjoyer 👍). [REDACTED], however, will still greatly prefer "they/he", and will continue to use them interchangeably.
21/02/24 — or search through Obsidian. (Future Sai here.... I have no clue what this means???? What??? T_T)
I'm gonna cut down on the Teo and Ren bullying on this blog (and in general). I don't find it fun anymore, and it genuinely upsets me when people put down certain characters to make others look better (i.e. "Ren has no ass which makes Leon superior >:)" Just say you like Leon... I beg T_T). It also makes me doubt whether Ren is genuinely a good character or not, and it's gross seeing y'all tear down people who genuinely enjoy Teo. Be kind.
(11/01/24)
Eventually, I'd like to turn this meme into an event in the 14DWY Discord to help create an actual landlord for Day 3. The current landlord has always been a meme-y placeholder (I thought the idea would be funny), but looking at how the game is currently, I want 14DWY to be more "serious". The current landlord will eventually be turned into an easter egg!!
Whether or not Jae had bottom surgery will now remain ambiguous. Everyone is now free to headcanon whatever they'd like, so long as it's not offensive or too OOC.
From now on, I'll also try my best to remind everyone that Jae is gay and Kiara is lesbian. I tried not to bring it up frequently because I was afraid it'd come across like "being gay" was their only defining personality trait, but I'm tired of people sending in asks that don't apply to these characters ^^;
I might move all of the curiouscat questions to this blog and archive the account. It's becoming too much of a hassle for me to manage 3+ social media accounts sgkshjj
#Sharing this now because why not 😼#I refuse to let it sit in my drafts any longer lmaoooo#I'll cut out the embarrassing logs though <3 No one needs to see me ramble about how the sprites STILL don't feel consistent enough#for the 14235th time gjsdjsdhgs#🖤 — shut up sai.#💖 — 14 days with queue.#to be tagged later

Hello, everyone!
In light of Neil Gaiman's comment that Amazon is close to officially renewing Good Omens but hasn't done so yet, I think those of us who can should start sending physical postcards to Amazon Studios!
The TL;DR of this post is that you can easily send a postcard from MyPostcard.com for about $3 (USD, I'm sure other currencies can vary). The Web site will print and mail it for you, so you don't have to do any printing or mailing yourself. The postage is included in the $3.
If you don't already have an image or card you want to use, you can just use one of mine above. Some of them are small because of small source images, but the site seems to resize them appropriately for the card. There are bigger versions in a Google Drive folder that you shouldn't have to be logged in to see.
You can send the postcards asking for a third season of Good Omens addressed to Jennifer Salke and Vernon Sanders, co-heads of Amazon Studios, at:
AMAZON STUDIOS 1620 26TH STREET, SUITE 4000N SANTA MONICA, CA 90404 USA
@fuckyeahgoodomens was the first to post this contact information for Amazon, so thank you, Ixi.
If it's something you don't mind, I would very deeply appreciate reblogs on this, since it works better if lots of people see it! No pressure if you don't want to, though.
And if you have Questions, click through below for my reasoning on all this.
Why should we send postcards to Amazon Studios?
We've made lots of noise online about renewal, and we've done a lot of streaming Good Omens. But I haven't seen much discussion of sending physical mail or, specifically, postcards.
Mail takes up space in the real world. It's slightly harder to ignore than email. It's way more attention-grabbing than posts on X or Tumblr or any other social media site. Because postage is required, physical mail can also appear more "committed."
Postcards specifically are great because of their convenience for the recipient. No one has to open them to read them. All it takes is a quick glance to see what we're asking for, and realistically, a quick glance is the best we can ask for in a corporate office. That's why I'm emphasizing postcards over regular letters (although really, anything helps).
Is sending postcards really going to motivate Amazon to make more Good Omens?
Postcard and letter-writing campaigns have helped get shows renewed in the past. Star Trek: The Original Series is a good example of a series that got another season after a letter-writing campaign. This article has more examples.
We don't actually know what's going on in Good Omens's case. Maybe postcards would make a difference; maybe they wouldn't. We can only make our most determined effort at making sure we're heard, and sending mail is part of that.
The cost of sending a postcard is too much for me.
I understand that sending a postcard will not be an option for many of us. This post isn't intended to try to push you into spending money you don't have. If you still want to find a way to participate, you can also send an email to [email protected] with your comments about wanting Good Omens 3. It's not physical mail, but it is still a personal message from a customer.
In fact, people who are sending postcards might want to follow up with an email, too.
Do we have to use your postcard designs?
No! Not necessarily! You can use anything.
As long as the message you write includes how much you want Good Omens 3, your postcard's image doesn't necessarily have to relate. You could send a souvenir postcard that says "Greetings from Los Angeles, CA / Tadfield, England / etc" from your local post office and just write your message on the back.
Technically, even a plain index card should be thick enough to mail as a postcard, at least by USPS standards. Just write your desire for Good Omens 3 on it, put a stamp and Amazon's address on it, and make sure it's at least 90mm x 127mm (3.5in x 5in).
Isn't Amazon Studios going to notice a bunch of postcards being mailed from the same Web site?
I'm sure they will. But the messages will each be unique, and again, they'll know each card represents a person who had to order the card and postage themselves.
Speaking of unique messages, what should I write?
One sentence is enough. Definitely indicate that you want Season 3 of Good Omens. If you want to add more, you could also write a sentence or two about how much you love the series so far.
Above all, be polite and straightforward! Remember that sarcasm and jokes often do not come across well in print, so it may be best to stick with simple statements that can be taken at face value.
What address should the cards go to?
The co-heads of Amazon Studios appear to be Vernon Sanders and Jennifer Salke; you can address them by name, although I'm guessing it will be someone else who does the reading/glancing.
Amazon Studios's address is:
AMAZON STUDIOS 1620 26TH STREET, SUITE 4000N SANTA MONICA, CA 90404 USA
Where did you get these images?
The images for the nightingale postcard and the Crowley postcard are screencaps from directedbypiper.
The Please Do Not Lick the Walls and Fell the Marvelous posters were downloads from the Amazon X-Ray feature.
The Nice and Accurate Prophecies postcard was adapted from cover art I did for A Nice and Interpretive Fanzine. Most of it is my own, although the mottled background is an extremely blurred version of a free stock texture from Pixabay, users chrisfiedler and/or humusak.
The bookshop postcard is a promotional image from Amazon used in a Den of Geek article.

WASHINGTON, DC — A devastating new report revealed that despite massive layoffs, thousands of journalists still remain gainfully employed.
"It's a tough pill to swallow," said researcher Stan Morgan as he announced the study's results. "Even after multiple rounds of layoffs at the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, and many other newspapers, it's only been a drop in the bucket. Tragically, even today, thousands of journalists have not yet been laid off."
Reports have conclusively proved the immense benefits of firing journalists, leaving researchers puzzled as to why more outlets aren't following the sterling example of the Los Angeles Times.
"We applaud the efforts of the L.A. Times and the Post to address the stain on our nation," said Morgan. "If only more newspapers would follow suit, millions of Americans could live more happy, productive lives. We must all do our part to never, ever read what journalists write. It's up to all of us."
As of publishing time, thousands of journalists had acquired new jobs at Dunkin' Donuts, where they reportedly spent their days harassing customers for not ordering black coffee.

Why Tailor-Made Suits in Los Angeles Are Worth the Investment
In the heart of Los Angeles, a city known for its glitz and glamour, the demand for fashion-forward clothing is ever-growing. While fast fashion dominates the retail space, an increasing number of professionals, creatives, and style-conscious individuals are turning to tailor-made suits for their wardrobe needs. From business executives to Hollywood stars, a bespoke suit offers unparalleled fit, style, and luxury. But why should you invest in a tailor-made suit in Los Angeles? Let’s dive into what makes this sartorial choice worth every penny.
1. Unmatched Fit and Comfort
The primary reason many choose tailor-made suits over off-the-rack options is the superior fit. A bespoke suit is crafted to your exact measurements, ensuring it hugs your body in all the right places. In a city like Los Angeles, where appearances matter and the climate can be unpredictable, comfort is key. A well-fitted suit not only looks good but feels good, offering a level of comfort you simply can’t find with generic sizing. Whether you’re walking into a high-stakes business meeting or attending a red-carpet event, a tailor-made suit ensures you look polished and professional.
2. Personalization at Its Finest
One of the major advantages of having a suit custom-made is the endless possibilities for personalization. In Los Angeles, a city known for its creativity, your suit can become a reflection of your personal style. Tailors allow you to choose everything from the fabric, color, and lining to buttons and stitching details. Do you want a bold statement with a bright lining, or perhaps a classic and timeless design in luxurious wool? Whatever your vision, a bespoke tailor will work with you to bring it to life. This level of control over the design process ensures that your suit is one of a kind and fits your personality, making it stand out in a sea of mass-produced options.
3. High-Quality Craftsmanship
When you purchase a tailor-made suit, you’re not just buying a piece of clothing; you’re investing in quality craftsmanship. In Los Angeles, some of the most skilled tailors offer decades of experience, blending traditional techniques with modern sensibilities. The attention to detail in a custom suit is unmatched, from the precision of the seams to the durability of the materials. A bespoke suit is built to last, often outliving several off-the-rack options. Over time, this quality and longevity can save you money, as you won’t need to replace your suit as frequently.
4. Perfect for Every Occasion
Los Angeles is a city of diversity, where you might attend a business lunch in Beverly Hills, a premiere in Hollywood, or a beachside event in Malibuall in one day. A tailor-made suit provides the versatility to look sharp in any setting. Whether you need a sleek and formal suit for corporate events or a more relaxed and trendy look for social gatherings, a custom suit can be designed for any occasion. Tailors can even recommend fabrics and cuts that will keep you cool in the warm LA sun while maintaining an air of sophistication.
5. Confidence Boost
There’s no denying the psychological effect of wearing a suit that fits you perfectly. The confidence that comes with a well-tailored garment is palpable. In a competitive city like Los Angeles, where first impressions are everything, feeling confident in your appearance can make all the difference. A custom-made suit not only elevates your wardrobe but also boosts your self-esteem, allowing you to present the best version of yourself, whether you’re on stage, in the boardroom, or out on the town.
Conclusion
Tailor made suits Los Angeles are more than just a luxury; they’re an investment in style, quality, and confidence. With a bespoke suit, you can expect a perfect fit, personalized details, and long-lasting craftsmanship that will make you stand out from the crowd. In a city where image is everything, a custom suit is a smart choice for those looking to leave a lasting impression.

More men have come forward to the BBC accusing the former chief executive of Abercrombie & Fitch and his British partner of sexual exploitation. Some allege they were abused, and some that they were injected with drugs.
Luke says he was shocked as he was guided into Mike Jeffries’ presidential suite in a hotel in Spain. "It was like a movie set of an Abercrombie store," he recalls of the event in 2011. "And I thought we were going to do a photoshoot."
He says the room was dimly lit with erotic photos of men’s abs adorning the dark walls. In the middle, a group of assistants dressed in Abercrombie & Fitch uniforms - polos, blue jeans and flip-flops - were casually folding clothes on a table, pretending to be shop workers, he says.
Then aged 20, Luke says he had been offered the chance of being in a company advert if he flew from his home in Los Angeles to Madrid to meet the CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch (A&F).
Luke says the proposal had come via a modelling website from a man who said he worked as a talent scout and executive assistant for Mr Jeffries - then head of the billion-dollar teen retailer.
Warning: This story contains accounts of sexual violence
In the suite, he says Mr Jeffries' assistants began engaging in role-play, encouraging him to act as a shirtless greeter, a hallmark of A&F stores at the time. Luke says he remembers the talent scout saying: "Now I have two very important guests, and these are going to be the customers that you need to impress and entertain because they're going to be buying a lot of clothes from you."
At that moment, he says Mr Jeffries and his life partner, Matthew Smith, came out of a corner of the room. They immediately started touching him and Mr Jeffries forcibly kissed him, he says. "I was trying to avoid the whole situation as much as I could, but Michael was very aggressive." He says the Abercrombie boss then performed oral sex on him.
“I tried to say no repeatedly. And then I just got kind of convinced to do something. But I constantly was saying no, and I wanted to go.”

Single Parent (1)
confections of the heart by pleasinglouis 25k
Harry chuckles, smiling when Louis’ breath hitches as he reaches up to brush his thumb over Louis’ cheek. “Louis, would you like to go on a date with me?”
He still worries that the date won’t go well, that Harry will get bored of him or decide it’s too complicated dating an omega with a pup, but he nods anyway, “Yes.”
It feels worth it when Harry’s lips widen into a grin and the dimple that Louis finds quite charming craters into his cheek. Who knows, maybe it won’t be as awkward as you think, Louis thinks to himself and follows Harry to where Oliver is watching a chef with a loud laugh show the pup how to sculpt with chocolate. Maybe this time it’ll work out.

Or Louis is a single mom, Harry is a pastry chef, and Oliver just wants his mom to be happy. With a teaspoon of love and a sprinkle of fate, the three might just find a home in each other.

Across the ocean, in a small dingy-looking hallway in the shadiest part of Los Angeles, 16 year old Harry Styles tries to calm her breathing and wipe the sweat from her palms before she enters her very first audition as a fully grown, adult actor, a very long ways away from home.

Piper shuffled a little closer, clinging on to Harry’s shorts as he set a hand on her shoulder, willing her to relax. “Hello.”

When Harry's daughter is left heartbroken by the unkindness of strangers, Louis decides it is time to right some wrongs, but doesn't expect to be reunited with the one who got away...
Wonder How I Ever Made It Through by lovelarry10 9k
Prompt 106: The shame at being incapable of it yourself.
Louis loved his home and his neighbourhood. It made jogging more enjoyable. But when a boy with curly hair moves into a home down the street, neither of these men realise what changes are coming their way.
Or Harry and Louis realise that all they need to be strong is love.
To Begin Again by lovelarry10 23k
“I, uh, I’m really sorry for yelling at you like I did.”
“Hey, I deserved it and more. I’m lucky you didn’t come and deck me on the nose,” Louis said, holding his hands up as if to surrender. “Seriously, you went lightly on me. If a crazy dog was leaping around me and my kids, I’d have lost my shit long before you did, and it would have been a lot more sweary than yours as well.”
Harry laughed at that, quite liking the man now he was getting to know him. This Louis seemed to have a good sense of humour, and his dog was fairly likeable too, laying there sound asleep, sunbathing.
“Well, I don’t usually lose my temper, so I just wanted to apologise.”
“It’s me who needs to say sorry. My stupid dog ate their bloody eggs, and on Easter Sunday at that. It’s a good job we don’t go to church, Cliff, or we’d both be going straight to hell. Nice ears, by the way. I meant to say earlier.”

Harry’s ready to spend a fun Easter morning with his two children at the park, but it’s thrown into chaos when an over-excited dog and his owner come barrelling into their lives…

Somewhere in Los Angeles, Sam was relaxing in his living room, bathing underneath the sunlight that was translucent through the skylight with a book on his hand and soft music echoing throughout the house. From an outside perspective, the actor looked something out of a painting that could rival the Mona Lisa herself. Sam looked almost like an angel, graced by the gods themselves. He looked like the marble statue you see in museums, the kind his fans always compared him to. But, the serenity ended when his phone rang on the side table next to him. A custom ringtone made especially for his best friend contrasted the music playing in the background.
He marked the page he was on, close the book, and scoot closer to where his phone was. A picture of you and him on the screen, smiling and drunk out of your minds after an after party for his friend’s movie premiere. Usually you were the responsible drinker out of the two but Sam managed to convince you to let loose. It was a great night apart from the hangover the two of you had the next day. His phone stopped vibrating when he pressed the answer button and was met with a slight nervous tone from his.
“I did it.”
Sam leaned back, his arm on the back of the couch. “Hello to you too, sweetie. What did you do?”
“I did the thing. Like just a few minutes ago.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” He did. He just loves to tease you.
You groaned. “Yes, you do. Cut the crap, Sam.”
“You’re no fun, y/n.” Sam smiled. “Well, this Wilbur guy is sure is something if you slide to his DM this fast. Usually, it’ll take you a few more days and a lot more conviction from yours truly.”
“It’s not like that.” You sighed. “Have you seen social media lately? And what happened when you pick me up at the airport the other day?”
Sam’s tone immediately turn from playful to serious. “Fucking pricks. Are you sure you’re okay? They didn’t grab you or anything?”
“Like I told you about a hundred times before, yes, I’m fine. Why’d you think I call you to pick me up? They’re kinda scared of you, Sam.”
Sam shook his head, chuckling.
“But, seriously though, I’m just kinda worry if the same thing is happening to him. I guess I just want to apologize.”
“y/n, you know it’s not your fault if they do right?”
“Yes, I’m well aware of that but still I could’ve just DM’ed him instead of tweeting at him. I’m basically saying ‘hey guys, this guy right here? yeah, this is the one.’”
“Okay, no more of that. When it comes to this kinda stuff, it’s going to be out of your control. So, I don’t want you to think it’s your fault even a little bit cause it’s not.”
“Thanks, Sam. I really appreciate that.”
“Don’t mention it, sweet stuff.” He smiled. “So, has he texted you back yet?
“Nope, not yet. I keep looking at my phone to see if he has but I think that makes it worse.”
Sam shook his head again. “You are what they call a simp, y/n. Do you want me to come over?”
“Yes, please. And no, I am not a simp.”
“Suit yourself.”
~~
With glass filled wine in both of their hands, you and Sam lounged on the sofa. A record playing on the vinyl, something that Sam got for you as a house warming gift when you bought the house. It was the same one he had on his own home. He bought it for you, alongside the record that was playing, because he remembered how badly you wanted one when he first invited you to his home.
When you heard a car pulled up on the driveway, you didn’t have to look on the window to see who it was. Sam, without a care in the world, just trudged inside, went straight towards the kitchen, rummaged the cabinets for a bottle of wine and two glasses before finally sitting next to you. It wasn’t something out of the ordinary for him to do that. You do the same whenever you pay him a visit. Sometimes it felt like you were even worse because sometimes you rummaged his closet for something to wear.
“Honestly, I might not take that role for that Netflix show. It’s a good script, but I met one of the showrunner and I just feel like he’s an ass—and you’re not listening to me.”
You blinked rapidly when Sam snapped his fingers in front of you.
“Yes, I am. I’m just not focused on you. I can multitask, you know.”
“Right, sure.” He rolled his eyes. “It’s been what—an hour? Maybe he’s busy or asleep, y/n. Time zone exists, you know.”
You sighed. “Yeah, you’re right. I should—”
Your eyes immediately went wide. Your body straighten up. That was a notification pop up that you saw. Sam frowned at your sudden change in behavior. Before he could turned around, you put down your glass and dove for your phone that Sam had thrown behind him on the couch when that’s all you could focus on.
“Jesus Christ, you almost spill wine on both of us, you fucker. What the fuck was that? I’ve never seen you move that fast.”
You turned to him, still lying on his lap, a grin on your face. “Sorry. I saw a notification.”
“If it’s not him, I’m going to remind you about this till we’re both dead.”
“But, it is him.”
“I’m still gonna do it,” Sam mumbled, sipping his wine.
Hey wilbur, it’s y/n
How are you?
oh hi
i’m good, how r u?
Sam saw you do nothing, fingers hovering above the keyboard. “You gonna say something there?”
“Hold on, I’m thinking.”
“What’s there to think about? Just say ‘Yeah, I’m good. Thank you for asking. I think you’re cute. Do you wanna go on a date with me?’”
You turned around again, glaring at him. “I will spill that wine on you.”
“Try me, sweet stuff.”
I’m good. Thx for asking :)
Can I talk to you about something?
“Really, a smiley face? What are you a teenager?”
“Get off my back, you jerk.”
“I will if you get off my lap.”
“Fine.” You huffed.
You squirmed back up with much struggle. At one point you pressed your elbow to Sam’s thigh making him jerk up his leg, almost hitting you in the face with his knees. You let out a sorry while he slips up a curse word and proceeded to put distance between the two of you. You missed the glare he gave your way when you typed a reply to Wilbur.
of course. go ahead.
i’m just wondering if there has been people approaching you about me
oh you mean the articles and all that stuff?
“He knows about the articles, Sam.” You looked up at your friend, pouring wine into his glass again.
“Talk to me when the good stuff is happening.”
It was your turn glaring at him.
Uh yeahh
I’m really sorry about that btw
These people have no sense of respect over boundaries when it comes to this kinda stuff
well it’s not your fault I’m sure
and to answer your question, yes there’s been a few people here and there
mostly emails about an interview
Oh god
Again, I am so sorry
again, I’m sure it’s not your fault
it’s alright really
on the bright side tho, my bands been getting a lot attention thanks to you
Well, i think you guys deserve it
You guys are great
thank you
You fingers hovered above the keyboard again, falling short of a response to keep the conversation going. Sam noticed this and decided to scoot closer to you. He took a peek at your phone, humming—a giveaway that he was thinking—before looking at you.
“Didn’t you say his band was going on tour?”
“Yeah...”
“Then ask him about that.”
“Okay, okay.” You nodded, before moving your finger again.
I saw that lovejoy is going on tour soon
yeah actually this is our second one
any plans on going to the states?
playing our first festivals there too
really? that’s awesome to hear
Well, hopefully I’ll get to see you guys in one of them
wait really?
Yeah, I am big fan of yours
Sam noticed you smiling. “I take it things are going well?”
You looked up from your phone. The effort to try and hide your smile failed miserably when Sam gave you his signature teasing smile. He wiggled his brows and you had to roll your eyes at his antics.
“Yes, things are going good. Thanks for the advice.”
Sam sighed, leaning back on the couch. A smug look in his face. “Am I good wingman or what?”
