Rick plush 2.0 is complete, and personally I think he turned out great!

This one is for sale! He’s $260 flat and I take payments via PayPal. I know it’s a hefty price tag, but please understand that I can’t price him any lower without taking a loss. I’m already underselling myself as it is.

He’s 29” from the bottom of his feet to top of his hair, and is made entirely out of Shannon cuddle 3 minky, with the exception of the stretch knit used for his eyes. His eyes are also stuffed with mochi stuffing, so they’re super squishy and there’s no coarse grinding from inside the fabric. He’s sewn together with a combination of upholstery thread and dual duty XP, so he’s built to be entirely snuggle-proof. The long parts of his limbs are stuffed with pellets, so they’re weighted and floppy/noodley; perfect for cuddles ;w;

Disclaimers:

1. He comes from a cat-friendly household. I do everything I can to keep my cat seperate from my work, but it’s a very small apartment, so if you have cat allergies please be aware!

2. When it comes to washing/drying, DO NOT USE HEAT! Heat can melt the minky, making it flatten and lose its soft texture. Wash on cold (preferably by hand, but if you need to throw him in the washer that’s fine) and tumble or air dry ONLY! (Preferably air dry)

3. He has a TINY flaw on one of his hair spikes in the center back where there’s a 2-3mm patch that I had to seal a hole on that I didn’t notice until after he was done. I then thoroughly checked for other wounds but found none. It’s not noticeable unless you’re searching for it, but I want potential buyers to be aware regardless.

4. Plushies are non-refundable.

5. You agree to not resell my work.

6. You agree to forget you ever saw my deadname when paying me.

7. Cost applies to shipping within the US; If you’re outside of the US but still want to buy him, I will ship him, but it will cost a lot more and there is a much greater chance of him being lost in transit.

Francis is offering these crochet doll commissions and I think the results are adorable! Caius is so sweet and has lots of tactile variation (fluffy hair, pointy horns, floppy cute feet!!). His scales were also crocheted onto his face giving him a really cool dimensionality. This is a perfect way to pay tribute to your favorite dragons, or get as a gift for a friend! I believe Francis does non-FR dragons as well, so go check out his work. He also makes them in multiple sizes, and this is on the smaller side!

Hey, uh, so JoAnn Fabrics is apparently going into bankruptcy because of private equity fuckshittery. I make my bears out of remnants from JoAnn because 1) remnants are half retail price and 2) it's an attempt at greater sustainability. If JoAnn goes, I'll have to either find a new source of remnants (difficult) or start ordering whole yards of fabric online at full price (will make bears more expensive).

Depending on how shitty things get, I might have to close the shop.

If you've been wanting one of my bears, you should probably know that I'm having a small sale this month--10% off everything with the promo code MARCH. (It's only 10% because my profit margins are quite small already.) Now might be a good time to order, while I still have fabric to use and haven't had to raise prices.

I hate hype. I hate artificial scarcity bullshit. I hate making this post. But here we are. I can't make bears without fabric, and I can't afford to charge less than the cost of materials. I'm already charging below minimum wage for my own labor. I'm one person with a sewing machine; there's only so much scaling I can do.

The only characters I WON'T bearify are real people known primarily for harming others (I call this the Dahmer rule) and characters whose designs involve hate symbols (I call this the Nazi rule). Other than that, all bears are good bears and I'm happy to make you the bear of your dreams!
